Below Deck Season 7 will conclude tonight… with its last regular episode. They taped a reunion episode for next week and Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres tonight. Basically, there’s a lot of drama on deck for the fans (pun intended).
Tonight’s episode begins where last week left off: Kevin Dobson made a penis cake for a primary charter guest who went to bed early after turning up quite a bit. Kate Chastain knew that the primary was out for the count, but purposely didn’t tell Kevin and the whole penis cake presentation, with Captain Lee Rosbach sitting there no less, was just so vicariously awkward to watch.
During tonight’s episode, Kevin says, “I’ve never been so embarrassed.” He also characterizes Kate’s prank as “a pretty evil bitch move.” So is kicking sand in someone’s face, which Kevin actually has the nerve to do. Disgusting. In comparison, a penis cake really isn’t so bad.
In other Kate news, she still thinks that Tanner Sterback is cute (when she’s drunk). In a clip from tonight’s episode, she tells Tanner she is a lesbian when he says he wants to kiss her. Will these two actually hook up? Or will Kate be happy that they were both too drunk to make that happen this season?
Brian de Saint Pern tries to end things with Courtney Skippon on a good note, but I don’t really see that being a main storyline tonight.
Bosun Ashton Pienaar tells Rhylee Gerber, “Ashton- It’s clear that you and I have our differences and it goes a little bit deeper than work. You and I are just two different people.” Isn’t that the understatement of the century?
And I’m warning you now to cover your eyes: Kevin takes off all of his clothes after a night of drinking with the crew.

What is going on with NeNe Leakes? Last week, her good friend Wendy Williams claimed that NeNe is carrying the weight of a major secret that will make our “hearts melt.” She didn’t hint at what it was, but, of course, there were plenty of of rumors circulating on social media and the blogs. Wendy also said that NeNe told her she was quitting Real Housewives of Atlanta.
NeNe responded to Wendy’s very public claims by denying that she was done with the show and expressing that she was upset with the talk show host for sharing the details from their private conversation. Personally, I’m wondering if Wendy “accidentally” leaked their conversation, or if there was more to it. Even Kenya Moore thinks that may have been done with the intent to garner some sympathy from the public. These past few seasons have not been a good look for the RHOA OG. At all.
Over the weekend, Andy Cohen discussed the rumors that NeNe is planning to leave Real Housewives of Atlanta with Extra. Andy said, “Not that I know of. Maybe Wendy knows something that I don’t know.” I’m sure she does, but I would be shocked if NeNe left the show. I just can’t help feeling like Wendy’s slip of the tongue just wasn’t much of an accident or a surprise to NeNe.
Andy continued, “NeNe said she was just venting. I have had many Housewives texting me during the season saying, ‘I’m quitting,’ then I am with them another many years. It’s a natural part of the process, threatening to quit.'”
I would love to see some screenshots from Andy’s inbox, especially when it comes to those messages from the Real Housewives. I can imagine who complains to him the most.

As expected, Vicki Gunvalson is not handling her exit from Real Housewives of Orange County very well. She talked shit about Andy Cohen after he wrote a sentimental and kind Instagram caption about her.
And now, Vicki is resuming a Twitter feud with Emily Simpson…. from December 2019. Girl, let it go. Vicki may have been may be the reality TV veteran, but Emily totally smoked her, again.
Let’s revisit 2019 for a brief moment. After Vicki accused Emily of “drinking the kool aid,” Emily responded, “And by “drank the ‘kool aid’ you mean I didn’t turn on Kelly [Dodd] and hate her like the three of you wanted me to do. Your agenda was to turn everyone on the cast against Kelly and ice her out so she would be fired. I didn’t fall for it.”
Nearly two months later, a recently fired retired Vicki tweeted, “Liar!!! I never once wanted anyone to turn against Kelly. My issue with her was between her and I. Nice try girl. You and I never spoke about Kelly and in fact we never spoke!!! #liar.” No one believes this, Vicki. I mean, what was the point of “accidentally” sharing those train rumors and the allegations that Kelly pushed her mom down the stairs? Oh, right, to turn people against Kelly Dodd. Case closed.
Emily fired back with “It’s actually ‘between her and me’ but they probably didn’t teach you that at insurance school.” Damn, girl. After, Vicki tweeted (and then deleted), “Your an idiot.” Thankfully, iRealHousewives came through with a screenshot for that one. And then Emily put Vicki in her place with this tweet, “You’re fired.”
In another deleted tweet, Vicki told Emily, “I didn’t need to mooch off of my in-laws.” True, but Emily definitely won this battle. And thank you again to iRealHousewives for that screenshot.

Way back in 2012, Real Housewives of Atlanta fans were introduced to one Porsha Williams Stewart. Porsha was a young married girl, filled with hopes and dreams of being the perfect mother and wife. Her now ex-husband, former football star, Kordell Stewart, ran a tight ship and kept a tight leash on his spouse. It was not an easy freshman year for Porsha. She didn’t exactly portray herself as the wisest Housewife ever, after displaying her complete lack of knowledge on historic facts regarding the Underground Railroad or how many days are in a year…
Porsha’s debut wasn’t finding a lot of support amongst the Bravo big guys. Keep in mind, this was before she bought economy-class tickets to THOTlandia and started using “her voice”. Now Andy Cohen is sharing some intel about Porsha’s first season, and believe it or not, her role was on very shaky ground. According to Andy, she was pretty much on the way out, but something happened at her first reunion that wound up changing minds and getting people on board that phantom train she had running beneath the Earth’s surface.
Not all Housewives make it past the first season. Does anyone even know exactly what happened to Shamari DeVoe? I guess that girl was poison after all. YOU’RE WELCOME! Andy recently revealed Porsha almost became part of the “one and done” crew. He said execs were on the fence about handing her another shot, until she pulled a total “moment” at the Season 5 reunion.
HollywoodLife shared an interview Andy did on The Jenny McCarthy Show and gave the scoop. “At the end of Porsha’s first season, she was at the reunion, and it had just been announced like a day before, Kordell was leaving her and there was a fairly healthy dialogue amongst the producers about whether Porsha was going to come back at that time.” Not a huge surprise when Porsha’s most memorable moments included yelling “Bye, Ashy!” at former Miss America USA Kenya Moore, and waxing poetic about how un-Christian it would be to enter the sin-filled halls of a strip club. FIX IT, JESUS!
Andy went on to say Porsha came through at the reunion with a passionate speech about her life, after finding out her husband unceremoniously dumped their marriage. “She [Porsha] got up there at that reunion and I was watching her and I was like, ‘oh my God’ I left, I was like, ‘I stand for Porsha, that was incredible’ and she cemented her place on the show,” he explained. Good thing for Porsha, because it was in that monologue her “voice” quite literally saved her ass.
Andy shared, “She [Porsha] gave like a two-minute soliloquy about who she was and how she was gonna live her life going forward and this was not gonna define her and she’s stronger than this and I was like, ‘oh my god’. I totally underestimated this woman and look at where she is now on the show.” End. Scene.
Andy also mentioned that just because we might think someone is completely wrong for the show, they might be able to pull a Hail Mary pass during the reunion and earn another go. This was obviously not the case for Vicki Gunvalson… Ahem. He said, “It’s interesting how things change through the season. Even you could be saying, ‘oh well I don’t think this person’s coming back’ and then something could happen at the reunion where it changes.”
And look where our little Porsha is now! A wonderful mother! Hard worker! Recently single again (?)! Heck, she’s even friends with Kenya! What would we do without Porsha, with her clever reads and expert eye-rolling? Fortunately, the way things are going for her, she’ll be around to provide shade in Atlanta and teach us all what not to do in a relationship for a long time to come.
