Survivor fans love a player who makes big moves, but often, those players are not so beloved by their fellow castaways. In Survivor 47, Episode 10 titled, “Loyal to the Soil,” Genevieve’s scheming finally catches up to her and she is no longer able to blame her master plans on other players. The fallout from Sol’s blindside is rough, and her threat level is exposed. Fortunately for her, she isn’t the only player in the hot seat tonight. The Tuku Four are on everyone’s radar, which causes the tribe to flip on each other to save themselves.
So, who went home? We’ll get to that…
Here is everything that happened on Survivor 47, Episode 10.
What happened on Survivor 47, Episode 10?
Genevieve learns that big moves have big consequences in tonight’s episode. Her ally, Teeny, no longer trusts her, and the rest of the castaways are also wary of her motives in the game. The group is torn between taking out the savvy, social player or breaking up the intimidating Tuku Four by taking out one of their numbers. Kyle wins another Individual Immunity Challenge, protecting him from being the Tuku sacrifice. In the end, the group decides Gabe is a bigger threat than Genevieve; he becomes the 10th person voted out of Survivor 47.

Genevieve is in trouble after Survivor 47, Episode 9 blindside
Episode 10 begins with Genevieve scrambling to repair her relationship with Teeny, who felt blindsided by her ally’s master plan to take out Sol last week. Genevieve knows she made the right choice, but she’s worried about it affecting her relationship with Teeny, who had a close bond with the fallen Lavo member.
She explains to Teeny that the decision to leave her out of the vote was not personal, nor did she want to humiliate her ally with a blindside. Genevieve is a great talker, so she does a good job with damage control at this moment, but her relationship with Teeny is still fractured.
I’m concerned about Genevieve’s trajectory going forward. Her game was pretty flawless until Sol’s elimination, which didn’t go as smoothly as she hoped. In prior episodes, she’s recovered quite well from big moves, but last week, her fellow castaways began to notice she’s the voice behind many blindsides this season.
In a separate conversation, Sam tells Andy he doesn’t trust Genevieve, suggesting they keep an eye on the “secret assassin” of Survivor 47.
Genevieve may be able to divert attention this week by focusing on Tuku—the largest tribe left in the game. If she can convince them that Kyle and Gabe are bigger threats, she may be able to buy herself more time.
Is Andy getting a winner’s edit on Survivor 47?
Underdog Andy has been slowly rising in the ranks since the merge. His game was a disaster in the beginning, but my guy has been making moves in the last couple of weeks, and tonight may be his best work yet. The former Gata member is making alliances with everyone, telling Kyle, Teeny, and Rachel that he is ride-or-die for them. Of course, this might come back to bite him, but for now, he’s in a good position. I always thought Genevieve would be the one to flip on him, but Andy might actually be the secret assassin of Survivor 47.
A Reward Challenge sends three castaways to the Survivor Sanctuary
Tonight, the castaways competed in teams of three in the hopes of gaining access to the Survivor Sanctuary, where they will feast on fruit, veggies, chicken, and more. Jeff mentions there will be Cookies n’ Cream cake for dessert and the castaways freak out (these poor, hungry people). They all look pretty emaciated by this point, so the stakes of this Reward Challenge are high.
To win, each team member must successfully move a ball with their head across the sand to the finish line. Then, they must roll the ball down an elevated platform and try to land it in a hole. The challenge looks awful. I can’t imagine how much sand is getting in their eyes. I do not envy them.
The Blue team, consisting of Sam, Kyle, and Rachel, wins the challenge. Ah, I worry for Kyle. Another victory will increase his already high threat level, but access to the Sanctuary will give him a chance to get closer to Sam and Rachel. Kyle needs more allies if he wants a shot at the end, so I hope he uses his time wisely and develops an alliance with Sam and Rachel.
Tuku Divided: Kyle turns on Gabe
Kyle knows all eyes are on Tuku this week, so he offers his pal Gabe up to Sam and Rachel as a sacrifice. I think targeting Gabe is in Kyle’s best interest. The group will want to target Tuku this week because of the numbers and comp beast Kyle is the obvious choice. If he can convince them that Gabe is the better option, he’ll buy himself another week on the island.
Sam is down for this plan, but Rachel has another target in mind. She sees Genevieve as a bigger threat to her game, which is understandable given that Genevieve has been targeting her for weeks. I’m biased when it comes to Genevieve, but I really think it is in Rachel’s best interest to keep her around for a bit. If Genevieve goes, the target will shift to Rachel because she is the other smart, strategic player in the game. Just a thought…
Kyle isn’t the only Tuku member throwing an ally under the bus. Back at camp, Caroline and Gabe are plotting Kyle’s elimination. They, like him, know it’s likely a Tuku member headed to Ponderosa tonight, and they want to make sure it’s not them. Sue is also gunning for Kyle, who she hates so much (haha). There is an amazing compilation of her trashing him and saying she hates him. Their feud is so funny!
Teeny struggles with Genevieve’s blindside
While the other castaways are talking about potential targets, Teeny is still fixated on last week’s blindside. She’s grieving her relationship with Genevieve, who she once trusted completely but now, feels unsure of her motives. In a confessional, she talks about how the betrayal brought other issues to the surface, mainly her struggles with gender identity and feeling out of place in the world. At the time of filming, Teeny used she/her pronouns but has since come out as nonbinary. Their pronouns on Instagram are listed as, “She/they/he.”
Who won Individual Immunity on Survivor 47, Episode 10?
Tonight’s Immunity Challenge features the famous rice negotiation where castaways can volunteer players to sit out of the challenge in order to receive a big bag of rice. Jeff started the negotiation by saying four players needed to sit out for them to receive the rice. None of the castaways want to forfeit their shot at immunity, so Kyle comes up with a counteroffer. He offers up everyone’s Shot In the Dark for the rice. Jeff says he will make that deal, which prompts the players to question if it’s a deal worth making. In the end, only Sam hesitates to take the offer. Gabe convinces him it’s a good deal and he caves. Wow! Shot In the Dark is no more on Survivor 47.
Kyle wins his fourth Individual Immunity Challenge in tonight’s episode. Damn, this guy is unbelievable. He’s safe at Tribal tonight, which means the group will have to set their sights on a new Tuku sacrifice. It’s great for Kyle in the short term, but if he ever loses an Immunity Challenge, there is no way they won’t vote him out. They would be idiots not to at this point.
Who went home on Survivor 47, Episode 10?
Back at camp, it’s time for the castaways to come up with a name for Tribal Council. The group wants to take out a big threat, putting Genevieve and Gabe in a tricky position. In a shocking twist, Caroline talks to Teeny about voting out Gabe. WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, is Caroline going to flip on him? In a confessional, she says that voting out Gabe will open up her game (I AGREE), but she’s worried about pissing off her number one, Sue, who is obsessed with Gabe for some reason. I love to see this from Caroline! Her trio with Sue and Gabe is hurting her more than helping her. She needs to cut him loose and work with the women.
Jeff reads the votes at Tribal, and it’s revealed that Gabe is the castaway headed for Ponderosa tonight. As he exits, he calls Caroline a snake, letting her know he’s aware she flipped. She may have lost a jury vote, but I still think voting Gabe out was in her best interest.
That’s what you missed on tonight’s episode of Survivor 47.
Survivor airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
