The Traitors Season 2 Episode 6 Recap: Blood in the Water

The Traitors Season 2 Episode 6 recap

Since last week’s episode of The Traitors finished, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Episode 6. It picked up right where we left things in the Traitors Turret. Dan was set on murdering Bergie after he laid hints that the former Big Brother winner could be a Traitor. Phaedra and Parvati were apprehensive about the move, especially since the chances Bergie had a shield were sky-high, but they went along with Dan’s plan as he pleaded for control over the night’s decision. So, was their murder a success? Or was it blocked by a secret shield? Here’s everything that went down on The Traitors Season 2, Episode 6: “Backstab and Betrayal.”

Who was murdered in The Traitors Season 2, Episode 6?

There was no murder in The Traitors Season 2, Episode 6.

Before the Traitors met to discuss who they would murder as a group in the previous episode, Peter set a master plan in motion. He told the entire house that the Faithfuls were keeping the information about who had shields a secret. However, he later told the three players he suspected most of being Traitors (Dan, Parvati, and CT) that he and Janelle had successfully captured the shields. In reality, Bergie and Trishelle had the shields.

Peter hoped one of the three would fall into the trap and that they did.

During breakfast the next day, Bergie was the last to enter the dining room, and there was a mix of emotions. Phaedra was happy her Berg-a-licious was still safe. Parvati couldn’t believe her eyes. And Dan — well, he knew he’d been exposed.

For the Faithfuls, though, they couldn’t have been more excited. “Checkmate,” Peter said during his confessional. “The trap worked. The Traitors took the bait, and now I know at least one Traitor is in that group of Parvati, CT, and Dan.”

Before the group left for the day’s mission, Peter explained to those who weren’t filled in on his ploy why there was no murder. After explaining he “leaked” to a few people that he had a shield even though he didn’t, “the best case scenario just happened this morning when they went for a murder, and the person was actually protected, and obviously, their murder was null and void.”

The other castmates discussed among themselves who received the information, and although CT, Dan, and Parv owned it, they denied sharing it with other people. By now, the writing was on the wall, and the two CBS Traitors knew their backs were against it. However, they both come from cutthroat game shows. Will they be able to survive this?

The mission brings more $$$ to the group

For today’s mission, the cast had to fire a cannonball from Alan Cumming’s catapult. However, to reach the launch site on the other side of a massive hill, the remaining group of celebrities had to follow a map. Along the way, they also had to pick up the pieces to build their contraption once they arrived.

If they can successfully make it to the site, build the catapult, and launch their cannonball in time, they will add $20,000 to the prize pot.

It took some time, but the group reached their final destination after climbing that enormous Scottish hill, crossing a rushing river, fighting for shields, and carrying their catapult’s pieces. Upon arrival, Peter instructed the group on how to build their mechanism. Once it was complete, John pulled the lever and launched the catapult, resulting in a $20K win, bringing the current total to $95,500.

On the way back to the castle, players were separated by cars, and each vehicle discussed who they thought would be the player to be banished tonight. Kate and ShereĆ© felt confident about Parvati. Phaedra, Kevin, and MJ spoke about the likelihood of Dan being a Traitor. As for Dan, he told Peter, Parvati, and Trishelle that although all eyes are on him, he’s not giving up and will have to see “where the chips lay.”

Who is banished in The Traitors Season 2, Episode 6?

Dan Gheesling is the fifth celebrity to be banished from The Traitors Season 2, Episode 6.

Before entering the roundtable to banish another celebrity, Peter gathered many of the show’s Faithfuls to devise a plan for the night’s vote. Because of the mishap with the murder from the previous night, Dan and Parvati were already under the gun. But if you watched Dan on Big Brother — he’s not going down without a fight. The time for him to go after one of his own had arrived.

Immediately after Alan opened the floor for debate, Dan kicked things off. “I’ll say this,” he said. “Since day one, I’ve been watching one person. And it’s time for that to come out.” Dan then went on a “Dan’s Funeral” 2.0-type speech, trying to connect facts that weren’t incriminating at all, like who hasn’t had their name written down and who has thrown out rogue votes.

After calling out Bergie, ShereĆ©, Sandra, and Parvati, he cleared them of being on his radar as Traitors. Then, he zeroed in on his target: Phaedra. Dan explained his reasoning for calling out Phae Phae, saying that after voting to banish Ekin-Su, the next day, she was murdered by poison. He continued, calling out Phaedra for her over-the-top “breakfast reactions,” like consoling Larsa when Marcus was murdered or saying, “Not my Bergalicious,” when they believed Bergie wasn’t coming back at the beginning of the episode.

“So, you’ve been watching me from day one?” Phaedra asked, to which Dan replied, “Yeah.”

“No one’s ever written your name down; why do you think that is?” Dan asked. “No one’s ever written a lot of people’s names down; that doesn’t mean they’re a Traitor,” Phaedra replied.

After asking Phaedra to explain her Ekin-Su vote, she was ready, saying, “I voted for Ekin-Su because of the issues she had with Janelle — because she changed her story.”

Then, when he questioned Phaedra about her reactions during breakfast, dubbing them as “a little bit extra,” Kate came to her defense. “I’m very extra baby,” Phaedra said. “I do too much ’cause you do too little. But tonight, you’re doing way too much because you know you’re getting ready to get banished. So, you’re trying to put the heat on me. Which is a crock of BS.”

Then, Phaedra reminded the group that Dan is a former BB winner. “You have knowledge of this game. So, if there was really a mastermind, it sure wouldn’t be a dolled-up Housewife baby. That would not be it.”

“Let’s not forget, Bergalicious voted for you last night, and who got the murder warrant, Bergalicious. Why? Because Dan thought that he was able to be murdered. Is that not correct?” Phaedra asked.

Whew. Dan, my friend, you just sealed your fate. Did you forget Phaedra was an attorney?

Before the voting began, Peter put out last-minute pitches to the group to remember that he was most confident that Parvati and Dan were Traitors from the three people he had set up. Once the voting began, it was clear that Dan was going home. Peter, of course, voted for Parvati, as the whole episode teased their tense dynamic moving forward with Peter on her trail. Dan voted for Phaedra and left her with a parting message, saying he should’ve “known better than to go up against such an elegant lawyer.”

When Dan stood in the Circle of Truth, he told the rest of the group the truth. “Unfortunately for me, I am a Traitor.”

Phaedra and Parvati recruit a Faithful…

Phaedra and Parvati recruit Peter to be a Traitor in the The Traitors Season 2, Episode 6.

Now that Dan is gone, Phaedra and Parvarti are low on numbers and allowed to recruit a Faithful to join their side. They dabble back and forth, throwing names out there, but they land on Peter. It’s an interesting choice, given he’s the most suspicious of Parv. But could that be to her benefit? Come back next week to see whether or not Peter accepted their invitation to join them in the Traitors Turret.

Stream new episodes of The Traitors on Peacock on Thursdays at 9/8c.

Annemarie Wiley Teases ‘Very Deep’ Conversation Between Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards at RHOBH Reunion

Photo by Bryan Steffy/Bravo via Getty Images

I haven’t seen viewers react to a Real Housewife like Annemarie Wiley since John Mellencamp’s daughter was sent packing. Usually, fans are fairly patient and gracious when a newbie comes along. In Annemarie’s case, she kind of made her own bed as far as the fanbase goes.

While MANY are hoping she’s one and done, if AM does return, she might not have a great sophomore season. She’s made a mockery of the medical community and even Kyle Richards is trying to distance herself at this point. Now she’s doing the most by speaking on Kyle and Kathy Hilton at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion. Page Six has the scoop.

Ma’am – don’t get involved with Kathy and Kyle

Okay so Annemarie is still trying to share her awesome friendship with Kyle to the world and Kyle is all, “I met her one time, I met her one time…” But the one-time meeting that turned into an acquaintanceship instead of a friendship apparently made AM an expert on Kyle’s family dynamics.

Kathy showed up at the RHOBH reunion which tells me a couple of things. Firstly, she’s probably coming back next season. Two, Kyle is terrified of having to answer for anything. I don’t know about you, but Kyle NEEDING a sister on the show for 14 years because she can’t do it alone is officially boring.

Anyway, Annemarie snitched on what happened when Kathy showed up. “There were a lot of important things that they talked about at the reunion –– that they talked through at the reunion,” she began. I would personally like to talk about Annemarie’s husband and the accusations lodged against him. Then I’d like to discuss why AM isn’t secure in her job status. But she doesn’t want to talk about that stuff, so she’s talking about Kyle.

You will be “very interested” in this chat (allegedly)

According to AM, viewers will be “very interested in the conversations that were had.” Um, will we? I’m too tired to be invested in Kathy and Kyle again. She added the convos are “very deep and very necessary.” Can’t they talk over lunch?

AM claims to have been friends with Kyle for a long time and said the siblings have been “working on [their relationship] for a bit.” Yes, we’re all aware.

Bravo has not yet announced when the Season 13 reunion will air, but you can catch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills each Wednesday at 8 PM/ET until then.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, Episode 14 Recap: Sutton Apologizes to Kyle for Not Being a Good Friend

Welcome back! Let’s get right into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, Episode 14 recap. Last week, Crystal suffered a medical emergency. This week’s episode, “Aches and Spains” continues the ladies’ adventure in Barcelona. While Sutton and Kyle mend their relationship, a drunken Erika goes off the rails. Here’s everything you need to know about RHOBH Season 13, Episode 14!

Crystal’s medical crisis

Crystal was sweaty and her veins were raised. Annemarie jumped into action and reassured her. Remember, she is a medical professional! She put Crystal in the van to lie down. Poor Crystal was afraid of having a stroke, so Annemarie showcased her amazing bedside manner. She said that she didn’t want Crystal to “stroke out.”

The ambulance came, and Crystal’s blood pressure was sky-high. In her confessional, Annemarie reflected on how Crystal questioned her credentials. “The irony of what is happening right now it’s literally shocking,” she said.

Once upon a chapel

The ladies went into the chapel and prayed for Crystal. “I already did this sh*t,” Erika said, as she was in the chapel earlier. Plus, once upon a time, she had her very own chapel. Some of the ladies lit candles for Crystal and Sutton lit one for her dad.

Erika was upset that no one had apologized to her about those damn earrings. “They hurt me the most because I care about them,” she said of her fellow housewives.

Meanwhile, Sutton and Kyle sat together in the church. Sutton revealed that her friend had a dream about her father, and he told Sutton that he was really tired.

“A psychic told me that Lorene [Shea] is telling you that she doesn’t understand what happened to her,” Kyle shared. Sutton told Kyle that they would never have all the answers as to why both Lorene and Sutton’s father took their own lives. And Sutton reminded Kyle that Lorene is at peace now.

“I’m sorry I haven’t been a better friend,” Sutton told Kyle. “You have been a good friend. It’s okay,” she replied.

“I hate fighting with Kyle,” Sutton said in her confessional. “So to have this moment and to start to really rebuild our friendship means everything to me.”

But Kyle was still salty about Sutton questioning her marriage to Mauricio. “I care about Sutton a lot. And I was very hurt by the question she was asking about my marriage,” Kyle said. “So I’m happy to accept her apology and move on because I’m much happier with our friendship being in a good place.”

Don’t question Annemarie’s credentials

Crystal called the ladies, and the anti-nausea meds are doing the trick. She plans to meet them back at the house. The group met up with their tour guide, Manolo, for lunch. But Kyle was focused on finding Hermes. She is obsessed with shopping.

Once again, Annemarie talked about how Crystal’s fake doctor story hurt her. According to Erika, this will no longer be an issue after Annemarie helped Crystal. Well, at least the newbie isn’t focused on Sutton’s esophagus.

Garcelle and Dorit mend their friendship

Garcelle brought up Taco Tuesday and how she later called Dorit “a Karen.” Garcelle explained to Dorit that she feels that she has lived a sheltered life and that she doesn’t understand the struggles that Garcelle has faced. Dorit shared that as a child, her family lived in a town where they were the only Jewish family. Dorit and her brother were the victims of anti-Semitic hate speech as children. Finally, Garcelle and Dorit hugged it out.

Meanwhile, Sutton’s friend Trevor is coming for dinner. They were both part of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company at the same time. Sutton tried to round up the ladies to head back to the villa, but Kyle and Dorit escaped into a store. Dorit bought seven antique-painted fans. Poor Sutton manned a timer while Kyle grabbed stuff that didn’t even fit. She copped to a shopping addiction, and I believe it.

Welcome back, Crystal

Crystal’s elevated blood pressure caused her symptoms. She has a family history of it and has dealt with it in the past. Crystal was emotional and thanked her RHOBH cast members for being so supportive. In her confessional, Crystal mentioned how much she appreciated Annemarie caring for her.

However, Crystal would like to move forward in a friendship with Annemarie. The thought of Annemarie and Crystal trying to be friends is giving me a migraine.

A dinner that Erika won’t remember

Erika wasn’t thrilled about meeting Sutton’s friends. She wasn’t in the mood to deal with Sutton’s sophisticated buddies. And the reason for that? Erika was already sauced.

“Shouldn’t have talked sh*t about me in those earrings. Reversal of fortune, honey. I told them,” Erika said to her glam team. Can we please climb off this dead horse? No one is going to kiss Erika’s ring, (or should I say earrings) and apologize.

Garcelle is interested in more than the paella

Chef Storm is back with his father for the paella-making class. Garcelle was hot for Storm’s dad, as was Sutton. So much for Storm!

While Trevor and Sutton reminisced about their time at the dance company, Erika interrupted Trevor. “Look, can I say something? I know you love Merce, but Merce was in a Ziploc bag.” The table sat in stunned silence. Erika better watch out, she is going to be haunted tonight! Then, Sutton tossed Kyle under the bus by telling the class that Kyle’s mother’s ashes were in a bathroom.

And, as her party trick, a drunken Erika shocked her fellow housewives with her knowledge about Beirut, architecture, and more. As Dorit noted, “It’s like watching drunk Rain Man.”

Sutton is grieving

Sutton delivered a lei of flowers to Kyle. The ladies will place the flowers into the ocean and let go of something that they need to release. Finally, Sutton will release Merce into the sea.

While Sutton was getting dressed, she broke down in tears. Kyle comforted Sutton, who didn’t want to open Merce’s ashes. When Sutton’s father passed away, the family spread his ashes in Texas. But each family member was given a small bag of ashes. She lost them during a move, and she is grieving.

She also felt like she was letting go of the ashes of her marriage to Christian Stracke.

Kyle responded, “I get that.” Well, isn’t that a telling remark? I hope that Kyle comes clean with more details about her marriage.

Near the end of her marriage to Christian, Sutton felt that they should separate and attend couples therapy. He filed as soon as he moved out. Now, Sutton has to let go and move forward on her own.

If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide, please call 988.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues on Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

Tamra Judge Thinks Heather Gay Is Lying About Her Black Eye

Heather Gay has received much praise from fans since the start of the new year. Following the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 finale, Heather’s noteworthy monologue has been recited, danced to, and analyzed by stars all over, including Kevin Hart, Jennifer Lawrence, and Valentin Chmerkovskiy from Dancing with the Stars

After discovering that her co-star, Monica Garcia, was behind the troll account Reality Von Tease, Heather went berzerk, slamming her with “receipts, proof, screenshots,” and so much more. While going off on Monica, Jen Shah’s former assistant, Heather also revealed a shocking truth about her mystery black eye from Season 3.

“I went on book tour and defended [Jen], and took shit for the fact that she gave me a black eye,” the Bad Mormon author told her castmates. However, there’s another Real Housewives star who finds her story fishy. Yup, the OC’s Tamra Judge. Keep reading to find out why.

Tamra isn’t buying anything Heather Gay is selling…

When Heather revealed her black eye during the Season 3 cast trip, everybody was shocked. But the most bizarre part of the storyline was that she couldn’t remember how it happened. Then, after Jen was sent away to begin her six-year prison sentence for fraud, she magically remembered. Although some RHOSLC fans were satisfied with Heather’s answer, many were not.

During a recent episode on their podcast, Tamra and Teddi Mellencamp shared their theory of why they don’t buy Heather’s story about her injury.

“If you look at the first day of her filming [the Season 3 cast trip], she had the semblance of a black eye starting,” Tamra said before Teddi pointed to a photo of Heather and asked listeners to “be the judge.”

“It takes a while for a black eye to turn black like that,” Tamra said. “I don’t think we’re ever going to get a true answer from her.” That’s something Dorinda Medley also pointed out, after Heather’s supposed revelation.

Whew. Tamra and Teddi could certainly be on to something with that revelation. Plus, based on Heather’s actions so far, fans aren’t sure they can trust her anyway. So, if the T’s theory is true, it would surprise no one.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is available to stream on Peacock.
