Charrisse Jackson-Jordan Says Ashley Darby Is “The Most Miserable” One In the Cast & Gizelle Bryant “Isn’t Worth The Effort”

For the most part, I forgot that Charrisse Jackson-Jordan was a part of Real Housewives of Potomac Season 1. And on a related note, I almost forgot about Real Housewives of Potomac Season 1 until they started showing previews for the second season. She really had no story line other than making thinly veiled excuses for her never-present husband. Then it was like a light bulb went off in her head during the reunion taping and she realized that she actually had to share her life if she was going to be asked back. That’s probably why she admitted her marital troubles at the last possible second- when they were making their concluding toast. And this what saved her spot on RHOP.

That and the fact that Gizelle Bryant was talking trash about her alleged affair with a fireman in between seasons. This had to be beyond humiliating for Charrisse, but the truth is that it probably secured her Real Housewife title. So in actuality she should be low key grateful that Gizelle is such a shit stirrer. This feud has made her relevant and breathed some much-needed life in to the second most lackluster installment of the Real Housewives franchise (Dallas being the most irrelevant- obviously).

In my own informal poll, most of the viewers are Team Charrisse in the Charrisse vs. Gizelle feud. Gizelle is rude to everyone in the cast without even getting provoked. Nevertheless, I am Team Gizelle overall because if it wasn’t for her petty bull shit, we would have no story line so far this season. Still, I hope this doesn’t drag out for the entire season, but I guess we will see. I’m hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

I can’t help wondering what will go down every time Gizelle and Charrisse are set to arrive at the same event. Will they ignore each other? Confront each other in the corner? Throw endless shade? Charrisse shared her thoughts on seeing Gizelle at the Preakness in her Bravo blog. Charrisse bragged, “Gizelle could never make me nervous. Would I prefer her absence? Absolutely! But in all candor, if anything she should be nervous in seeing me because who knows who is going to show up and we already know she isn’t fond of that side of me that holds court in alleys.” It really doesn’t seem like Gizelle is afraid of much. If anything, she probably gets off on an altercation and the potential to make it into an episode.

Charrisse asserted, “I know she knows what she did was totally inappropriate and deserving of a shutdown.” I don’t think Gizelle cares about anything other than herself and the camera time.” She continued, “Fortunately for her, I don’t see her worth the effort. In terms of her fake apology that was only done because it didn’t reflect well on her, she can keep it. In terms of her fake apology that was only done because it didn’t reflect well on her, she can keep it. I don’t think she will ever be sorry for what she did because she’s heartless. I go back and forth from being mad at her to feeling sorry for her because I view her a pathetic woman who will do anything to make herself feel good at the expense of others.” So it’s safe to assume that these two aren’t besties these days.

Charrisse explained, “As much as I want this woman out of my life, I have to think about our friends who are a part of both of our lives.” Right, that and the fact that they are contractually obligated to interact since they are both on the same reality show. Charrisse said, “I don’t want to have to have this continuous void when we both are present. It’s in the best interest of everyone to just move on. But don’t get it twisted, I haven’t forgotten and it will take a long time before I would ever consider her a true friend.” Well, obviously she’s not going to “forget” about this. She’s going to milk this story for every last possible drop. Otherwise, there would be no reason for her to be on screen.

I have no idea what Charrisse is doing in her marriage and it’s none of my business, but Ashley Darby seems to care- a lot. She talked a lot of shit about the rest of the cast and referred to them as “miserable and single”…. even though she admitted that she and her husband were having issues.

Charrisse asked, “Who really pays attention to the opinion of a meddling little girl? I mean really? Has her brain fully developed yet?” Charrisse continued, “We are all miserable and lonely and her life is just filled with amazement, I guess. She’s probably the most miserable of us all and I base that on her need to be the self-appointed expert on relationships. She has nothing good to say about anyone’s relationship. And quick to point at and look for negativity when it comes to others. That within itself is a sign of someone who is very unhappy.” This is far from the happiest cast in the Real Housewives franchise, but Ashley really looked obnoxious giving out unsolicited relationship advice/criticism. This is a textbook case of deflection.

Kim Zolciak’s Son Kash Bitten By Dog! Cancels Watch What Happens Live Appearance

I was pretty excited to hear the news that Kim Zolciak will make an official return to Real Housewives of Atlanta, so I was looking forward to her Watch What Happens Live appearance- especially after her season finale confrontation with Kenya Moore. I wanted to see Kim reading Kenya and dodging questions from Andy Cohen about whether or not she got a nose job, but unfortunately Kim will not be on the episode tonight.

I don’t blame her though, Kim has a very legitimate reason for skipping this public appearance. Her son Kash was bitten by a dog and he had to go to the hospital.

Even though Kim has a perfectly acceptable excuse not to skip out on Watch What Happens Live, she still took the time to inform her fans on the specifics. She posted a photo with her son in a hospital bed on Instagram. I am always asking for receipts when it comes to anything Real Housewives-related, but it was so tough to see this photo of poor Kash in the hospital. His face is covered, but it’s hard not to look at the photo and feel sad for the kid.

Kim wrote, “I don’t know where to start. The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare. My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I’ve never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life. My husband, our daughters, Kj, Tracey, his nanny, Michael Beck and everyone close to us all pulled together and held each other up. Kash was in the operating room for a couple hours and now we are praying for a quick speedy recovery.” Poor Kash. Kim and her family have to be so worried. It was definitely the right call skipping out on the talk show- without question. Plus, there are still two more RHOA reunion episodes that haven’t aired yet. She can always pop by WWHL after one of those.

Kim said, “Due to this I will not be on WWHL tonight but will do my best to make it up very soon! Thank you for all your prayers and most importantly Thank you God for your protection  A very special Thank you to my incredible medical team! A few days in the hospital and we will be back home.”

Monique Samuels Thinks Gizelle Bryant Is “A Very Consistent Liar”; Shades Her Mother-In-Law’s Marriage

Did Gizelle Bryant forget that she was being filmed for a reality TV show? That seems to be a common occurrence among Real Housewives cast members, but I just don’t get how she decided to spin her first meeting with Monique Samuels (which happened with the entire cast present) into something that it wasn’t.

It was ridiculous how she acted like Monique introduced herself by leading with her wealth and spitting some bars when Gizelle was the one who wondered if she owned home and asked her to rap for the group. Monique wasn’t rapping and bragging about real estate out of nowhere. The entire conversation was instigated by Gizelle.

Monique discussed Gizelle’s trash talking in a Bravo blog entry. She admitted, “I was totally unbothered watching the ladies discuss me. I respect everyone’s opinion and the fact is, they are getting to know me so it’s normal to draw their own conclusions.” Plus that is how reality television works.

Yes, Monique understands why she is the new topic of conversation, but she really isn’t here for Gizelle twisting the truth. She complained, “What I don’t like is when people blatantly tell lies or over exaggerate situations (Gizelle Bryant). But at least Gizelle is consistent (a very consistent liar).” This woman does not play. Watch out, Gizelle. Monique has no problem shading you right back.

Monique explained, “I would never introduce myself and then for no reason at all, give details about my real estate or finances. It’s not called bragging when you’re answering nosy people’s questions. That’s called giving facts.”

She wasn’t done though: “The only question I have is, why is Gizelle so interested in my lifestyle? At high tea she begs the question, ‘You don’t have a home?’ and then at the derby she lies to the rest of the ladies and says I introduced myself by stating, ‘I’m Monique and I’m rich.’  Who does that?!” Someone who is thirsting for screen time- that’s who.

Monique continued: “That actually sounds like something she would say if she were wealthy. We all see clearly what her agenda is. Strike 2… she’s coming for me once again! I’m trying my best to be nice!” Don’t be too nice though. Gizelle deserves to get checked.

Gizelle wasn’t the only one coming for Monique during the last episode. Monique’s own mother-in-law made it very clear that she’s not her biggest fan. I figured that Mrs. Samuels would be all smiles at Chris Samuels’s hall of fame induction, but she just had one insult after another for her daughter-in-law.

Monique discussed the uncomfortable situation: “At times I get aggravated because he deserves to have a weekend totally about him, but some people cannot get that through their head and try to make it about themselves (his mom).” It’s safe to say that being on reality TV and writing blogs will not help their relationship. Still Monique said, “All in all, I’m happy that our kids were able to experience this with us. Christopher and Milani both came to the ceremony and watched their daddy give a great speech.”

Weirdly enough, Monique says that she used to get along with her mother-in-law. She recalled, “In the beginning when Chris and I began dating, his mother and I were very close. We would go to the spa together, mall outings, go to church and actually spoke on the phone often. That didn’t last long.” Clearly.

She elaborated, “When Chris and I got more serious in our relationship, Mrs. Samuels began to pull away. She couldn’t stand the fact the son she raised was such a good man to another woman. I would think she would be proud of that, especially since I’m always making sure she’s okay and has everything she needs.”

Monique shared,  “Most men don’t think about the importance of phone calls or spending time with your parents, so a lot of the time it’s me encouraging him to call and check on his parents. I’ll always respect Chris’s mother. She birthed and raised the man that I love and for that I love her. How can I truly say I love him and not at least try to show love to her?” A good start would be not to shade her in a blog post… Oops. Too late for that.

The new Housewife explains, “I’m still a woman, so if she pushes me into a corner, I will  ‘respectfully’ push back. At the end of the day, I really believe she just wants attention. If her marriage was in a better place, I don’t think she would have so much time to spend worrying about Chris and me.” So much for Monique’s effort to “show love to her” from just a few sentences before.

I don’t blame Monique for being upset. Not only was she dissed (multiple times), but it happened on a reality TV show. Maybe Monique moved past the awkward family outing since it was filmed months ago, but she actually heard a lot of her mother-in-law’s comments for the first time when she saw the episode. Monique said, “I was TOTALLY unaware of my mother-in-law’s side comments at the dinner table! To be honest, I can’t say I was surprised. There have been several times that I’ve heard her speak badly about her other daughter-in-laws so why would I be any different? I was disappointed that a person who claims to be such a devout Christian and Pastor would stoop so low and name call in that manner.”

Monique wrote, “I was hurt. Especially hurt to hear her say, ‘They need to throw me some of that money’ as if Chris and I don’t go above and beyond to make sure both his parents are taken care of and want for nothing. For her to even insinuate this is totally ridiculous.”

Monique turned up the shade with this remark: “And she wonders why we don’t come to her for marital advice? I choose to speak about my marital issues with couples who are in a happy and successful marriage. Read between the lines.” There wasn’t much to read in between. It seemed pretty loud and clear to me.

Monique said, “Once again, I’m dealing with a person who clearly puts MONEY on a pedestal. To suggest that my marriage is any less sacred or should be easy because of my husband’s wealth is just plain IGNORANT. If money made people happy, why are rich folks some of the most unhappy people? Let that marinate.” That’s a pretty vague statement in all honesty.

Nevertheless, I do agree with this sentiment: “We all have issues and I can’t PAY my issues to go away (wouldn’t that be nice). That takes hard work, determination, and dedication. ” And then it got kind of awkward with Monique bragging about her sex life: “And that’s why Chris and I have a “successful” marriage so far; not a perfect marriage… but a very happy and loving marriage… with great sex! LOL!” Oh.

Tonight is an all new episode of RHOP. “When Gizelle’s mom comes to visit, she finds herself on a date with her new boyfriend AND her mom. Charrisse a.k.a “Cha-Cha” throws her daughter a lavish Sweet 16 birthday party, but when her elusive husband shows up at the party, it becomes too much for her to handle. Meanwhile, a hookah lounge fête turns sour when Ashley’s prodding about Eddie puts Charrisse on edge and Monique shuts down Gizelle’s hazing antics.”

Cynthia Bailey Loved Andy Cohen For Asking Tough Questions At The Reunion

It could have been a difficult year for Cynthia Bailey on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she definitely had the easiest season out of everyone in the cast. She had the most graceful divorce in Real Housewives history. She turned fifty and looks better than ever (which I didn’t think was possible). Plus, she’s on pretty good terms with the rest of the cast.

Of course, she wasn’t the most interesting person to watch on the show, but she did provide some balance to the crazy antics. Plus, it is entertaining to see her make this “friends” thing work with Peter Thomas. It’s unusual, but they get along better now than they were before they split. So I don’t blame Andy Cohen for asking about their interaction multiple times during the reunion.

Cynthia shared her thoughts about the first reunion episode in her Bravo blog. She didn’t get into any arguments, so I imagine it was a pretty one for her to write and that the reunion itself was entertaining for her since she wasn’t really involved in the conversation.

As expected, Cynthia admitted, “I felt amazing going into the reunion. I didn’t really have a lot of drama with any of the ladies, and none of them really came for me. Between my divorce, my move, and turning 50, I tried to stay focused on creating my next chapter, my daughter, my businesses, and my new life.” She successfully managed to escape the fray  this season. Good for her, but that also earned her the seat farthest way from Andy at the reunion. In contrast, the ladies with the most drama were sitting right next to the host.

Still, she was in the hot seat for a minute when Andy asked her if Peter “met [her] rejuvenated vagina.” Cynthia didn’t seem to care though. She said, “I love Andy. He is so funny, and can ask your absolutely anything with a straight face. No, Peter has not met my rejuvenated vagina, but I did leave him with some beautiful memories of the un-rejuvenated one.” In comparison to what the other ladies were asked, that was such a soft question. Cynthia was lucky.

Cynthia even declared, “This was my favorite reunion with Andy. He was so silly and shady. I loved how he asked a lot of tough questions and didn’t let anyone off the hook until they gave a real answer.” I loved it too. He did everything he could to make sure the viewers were satisfied and I was really living for it.

Cynthia concluded, “He is the king of shade, and we can all take a leaf from the forever blossoming Andy Cohen shade tree.” Amen.

Robyn Dixon Was “Completely Shocked” When Gizelle Bryant Spread Rumors About Charrisse Jackson-Jordan’s Marriage; Says Ashley Darby’s Comments Were “Sloppy”

I still don’t know what to make of Robyn Dixon’s non-relationship with Juan Dixon. Obviously, it’s not any of my business, but they do put their situation out there on Real Housewives of Potomac and it is Robyn’s only main story line, so I don’t feel bad speculating. At the very least, their dynamic is unique and interesting. I can’t decide what outcome I’m hoping for though. Do I want them to just make it official and get back together for real or do I want her to move on and get what she deserves from someone else?

I’m sure Robyn asks herself similar questions every day, but I doubt she welcomed Ashley Darby’s feedback during the last episode when she referred to her and other cast members as “single and miserable.” That was the last thing Robyn wanted to hear, especially from Ashley who was broadcasting her own marital problems in the sentence before. Thankfully, Robyn is caught in the middle of the feud between Gizelle Bryant and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. I’m sure it’s stressful to be at the center of drama, but on the flip side, it takes away some of the pressure to discuss her status with Juan and I’m sure she’s grateful to take a break from that.

Robyn shared her perspective on the Gizelle and Charrisse drama in her Bravo blog post. She revealed, “Gizelle, Charrisse and I all started off as good friends, in fact, Charrisse introduced me to Gizelle. So, when Gizelle spread rumors about Charrisse’s marriage in the manner that she did, it completely shocked me. It really made me think about my friendship with Gizelle and the chances of something similar happening between us.” You better watch out, Robyn. Don’t share anything too personal with Gizelle and if you already have, you better make sure you’re in her good graces.

Robyn even admitted, “I wondered just what would it take for me to do or say to get on Gizelle’s bad side and to be on the receiving end of her tongue lashing.”I don’t blame her for thinking that. Gizelle had no hesitation letting all of the skeletons out of Charrisse’s closet. Still, Robyn said, “But after really thinking about it, I think my friendship with Gizelle is very strong and really can’t imagine anything like that ever happening between us.” Right, as long as you don’t make her angry.

Someone who has definitely angered Robyn is Ashley. She has a million things to say about everyone else’s relationship even though she’s openly struggling with her own marriage. In addition to questioning the happiness of the women in the cast, Ashley said that Robyn “takes a back seat” in her relationship with Juan.

Robyn said, “I can admit that I took a back seat to Juan in the past for many years. However, Ashley does not know me well enough nor long enough to know anything about Juan and I and what goes on in our relationship. Her comments are sloppy and a matter of opinion based on a couple of short conversations.” Ashley’s comments were also her way of moving the spotlight away from her own relationship while still getting time on camera.

When asked about the possibility of a fairy tale with Juan, Robyn admitted, “I definitely don’t believe in fairy tales anymore but I do believe that Juan and I are capable of getting to a very happy place. Our relationship is a lot deeper than just a short-lived relationship that barely makes it out of the honeymoon phase. We have known each other since we were 16 and have experienced a lot together. Our love is unconditional and has withstood many trials and tribulations. We will always be family. If we could just find time to ‘date’ one another and enjoy each other’s company then we may get pretty close to that elusive fairy tale.” Don’t they live together? I feel like you can “find time to date” someone you live with if you really want to, but what do I know about this situation anyway? I’m not in this relationship.
