Who Was Evicted on Big Brother All-Stars Tonight? (9-17-20)

This week’s Head of Household for Dani Donato has been busy, to say the least, in the Big Brother All-Stars house. Dani initially nominated Kevin Campbell and David Alexander to the block for eviction at the nominations ceremony with plans to backdoor her own alliance member, Tyler Crispen, later in the week. Neither David nor Kevin remain on the block this week for eviction. After David “secretly” used his BB Basement Disruptor Power to take himself off the block, Dani was forced to name a replacement immediately.

Under pressure, Dani named her own alliance member, Tyler, to the block in David’s place after she had just promised not to come after him until only their alliance was left standing. Dani was again put on the spot when Da’Vonne Rogers won the Power of Veto and forced Dani’s hand again by using the POV to take down Kevin. This time, Dani put her own BFF, Nicole Franzel’s, BFF on the block when she named Ian Terry as the POV replacement. Dani has lots of blood on her hands this week, and who will be evicted tonight on Big Brother?

Week Six Power of Veto Fallout

During the POV meeting, Dani made it clear to everyone that she was targeting Tyler, and Ian was merely a pawn. This was all smoke and mirrors though. Day revealed she had to save Kevin because he is a strong ally for her in the Big Brother house now.

Nicole had major breakdown because her BFF was placed on the block. Nicole is bound and determined to campaign for Ian to keep him in the Big Brother house. Ian is determined to get the four votes needed to force a tie and have Dani break that tie.

Day explained in a conversation with Dani that she could not take such a big hit two weeks in a row. Last week Day lost her ride-or-die Bayleigh Dayton, and she just couldn’t stand to lose Kevin as an ally the following week.

Ian had a private conversation with Memphis Garrett in which Memphis revealed he doesn’t know who to vote out this week, him or Tyler. Memphis explained that they are both big targets on the block. Ian is a former winner, and Tyler is a runner-up and known competition beast. This put doubt in Ian’s mind about being just a pawn for Dani this week.

Kevin and Day had a conversation about how Tyler has not been campaigning houseguests to garner their vote to stay in the Big Brother house. They are perplexed as to why he’s not out there working to stay unless he already knows he is safe.

Stassi Schroeder Doesn’t Want Jax Taylor Fired From Vanderpump Rules

Stassi Schroeder addressed her firing from Vanderpump Rules for the first time during a sit-down interview with Tamron Hall this morning. She shared her regrets about calling herself “Nazi chic.” Stassi said she hired a “diversity teacher” to educate her on race, which actually includes weekly homework assignments.

She even called herself a “Karen” for previously declaring that “all lives matter.” Tamron really went in with some tough questions for Stassi. She even brought up Jax Taylor and the recent backlash against him.

Former Vanderpump Rules cast member Billie Lee accused Jax of being transphobic. Some Vanderpump Rules viewers spoke out, asking for Jax to get fired. Jax and his wife Brittany Cartwright lost brand sponsorships. Brittany’s best friend defended Jax, Stassi, and Kristen Doute amid accusations of racism, homophobia, and transphobia.

Even a 90 Day Fiance cast member, Ashley Martson, accused Jax of being racist and “harassing” her husband Jay Smith with racist comments.

During the interview with Stassi, Tamron said, “Now, there was a former co-star [of yours], Jax Taylor, he’s still on the show, despite coming under fire for comments that he’s made on social media. He also falsely accused Faith Stowers of that crime. Should he be fired?”

In response, Stassi said, “I don’t want to see any of my friends fired. Honestly. And I don’t want to speak to that.” What a non-answer there. So, what exactly did she learn from that “diversity teacher”? I would love to know.

Stassi Schroeder Hired “Diversity Teacher” After Getting Fired From Vanderpump Rules

Did you watch Stassi Schroeder’s interview with Tamron Hall this morning? It was rough. Tamron had no problem asking the tough questions and pushing for specifics when Stassi gave answers.

She called out Stassi for bragging about calling the cops on Faith Stowers back in 2018. Tamron questioned her for describing herself as “Nazi chic.” She asked Stassi why she felt it was OK to complain about the Black community’s desire to be represented in film. And throughout that conversation, Stassi revealed that she’s hired a “diversity teacher.” Yes, apparently, that is a thing.

During the interview, Tamron said to Stassi, “There are people who don’t buy what you’re saying and I don’t gauge it by that. I know you’ve hired a diversity person to work with you to kind of understand. I am not convinced you fully understand how much of an impact you could have had on Faith’s life, the ramifications of all of this on her life, as a human being. As a Black woman.”

Stassi insisted, “I do absolutely understand. I’ve spent the last three months, yes, working with a teacher and learning about everything and there was so much that I didn’t know.”

She continued, “Like, I didn’t understand that just because something wasn’t about race for me that doesn’t mean it’s not about race for the other person because I’m bringing my experience as a white, privileged woman to this situation. And [Faith is] bringing her experience as a Black woman into this situation. Because it’s about race for her, it is about race and that’s something that I’ve realized.”

The disgraced reality TV alum said, “It was my fault that I had not educated myself before. It’s absolutely my fault that I didn’t know better, but the issue is that I did not know better.”

She also admitted, “I was so used to making jokes at other people’s expenses.”

Tamron asked, “Have you made race jokes before like that?” A visibly shaken Stassi stumbled on her words and said, “I’m not sure, like Nazi chic.”

Tamron pressed, “But about Black people? About Latinos? Have you ever made any other racial jokes with your friends that you recall?” Once again, Stassi struggled to get the words out, saying, “I don’t… the Nazi… the Nazi no. The ‘Nazi chic’ was a joke because I looked like that in the outfit that I was wearing.” Oh, girl. No.

Then, when they discussed the comments Stassi made against diversifying film to include more Black talent, Stassi said, “I have to say I have been wanting to talk about this podcast more because going through these past few months and working with a teacher and learning about Black history and just the obstacles that Black people face everyday, I look back on that podcast and I am so embarrassed that I even had those thoughts, much less put them out there.”

Stassi also revealed that she has weekly “homework assignments.”

At another point in the episode, Tamron straight up told Stassi, “I am shocked by your level of ignorance.” Stassi told her, “I do understand now. I truly, I truly do. I’ve been wanting to talk about this podcast because I would never… I now know how to speak for Black Lives Matter.”

Tamron wasn’t buying that, asking Stassi, “How do you know that? I think that’s an over-reach. I don’t think you know how to speak for it.”

“All lives can’t matter until Black lives matter and that’s something that I’ve realized doing classes,” Stassi said.
