I feel like Erika Jayne recorded the song XXpen$ive just to provide great headlines and opening paragraphs for articles about her lifestyle.
So here it goes, my completely unoriginal joke: It is XXpen$ive to be Erika Jayne. Obviously. She is the same person who said “Being rich is great and being poor sucks” and other similar phrases from the second she started filming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show, she was asked about the rumor that it costs $40,000 per month to maintain her look. She told Wendy, “That is true. You know, it can get there for sure.” But how?
Erika justified the expense by saying, “If you want to look good it’s hair, it’s makeup, it’s wardrobe, and then those people that help facilitate that. They’re not cheap,”- apparently not.
Of course it costs a lot more to be a Real Housewife than a civilian, but I wonder how much Erika’s beauty and wardrobe budget compares to the other Housewives in the franchise. Is that the norm? Is Tom Girardi Erika spending a lot more than the other ladies? Is she somehow on the frugal end of spending?

Believe it or not, Don’t Be Tardy is one of the most enjoyable shows. Sure, there isn’t a lot of “drama” and almost every “argument” is resolved by the end of each half hour episode, but it’s an easy, family show to watch for a change. It’s certainly not groundbreaking television, but it’s entertaining in a refreshing way.
In complete contradiction to the sweet, family time on their own show, I have to say that Kim Zolciak and Brielle Biermann more than earned their renewal on the Bravo network thanks to their drama with the Atlanta Housewives. These two carried that season on their back, so I don’t blame Bravo for rewarding them with another season of their own show.
Kim announced that the family has started filming Season 7 of Don’t Be Tardy in an Instagram post. She wrote, “THANK YOU THANK YOU!!’ I truly feel so blessed to be filming season 7 of ‘Don’t Be Tardy!’ I want to thank you all for your constant support throughout all these years!! This will be the BEST YEAR YET!!! #Blessed #Grateful.”
Brielle tweeted, “Glad to be working again. I love my job! Nothing better than being able to film your life with the people you love while also being BEST FRIENDS with everyone on your crew. #szn7.” I don’t blame her for feeling that way. She is getting paid to do what she would be doing anyway. Anyone would be pumped about that opportunity.
Kim quoted Brielle’s tweet and added, “Dream job! We are I blessed!” I have to assume she meant “We are blessed!” at the end there.

It's been almost 14 years since the last episode of Friends aired, but fans still have some questions--like why was Monica Geller's apartment purple? Set designer John Shaffner...No one had a better rookie season than Erika Girardi – well, accept for maybe her pop star alter ego, Erika Jayne. Erika won over the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers with her catsuits, catchphrases, and dance moves.
Two seasons later, Erika left her time as a neutral party behind. She fought with then-rookie Dorit Kemsley for most of her second season. And now Erika is at odds with season’s new girl Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. Is this an unfortunate pattern or merely a coincidence? Erika opened up about that and more during the last episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Host Andy Cohen shared, “Erika, number one question for you: Does Erika feel hypocritical going after Teddi so hard and then two days later she’s all girl power and empowering women?”
Erika explained, “No, because I was being called a liar, so sometimes you have to stick up for yourself. Being powerful is sticking up for yourself sometimes and it’s not always nice.”
If Erika just kept her cool instead of taking her freak out to Hong Kong episode levels, more people would have seen her side. Unfortunately for Erka, her intense aggression completely eclipsed Teddi’s insinuation that Erika was a liar.
Of course, Andy asked the audience to pick between Teddi and Erika. Andy revealed, “They’re going with Teddi on this one. 80%.” Erika didn’t seem at all fazed by that and told him, “That’s OK. I’m going with me.” Of course.
Erika has been cool with Dorit and Camille Grammer this season, so it was interesting to see her squirm when Andy asked, “Whose side are you on: Dorit or Camille?” Initially, she joked, “I’m on my side.” Eventually, she said, “Dorit made a mistake doing that in front of her boyfriend. That was kind of hard.” Agreed.
Erika may be all about her book right now, but she did reveal that there is some Erika Jayne music on the way. She told Andy, “I have a new single in five to six weeks.” I’m so here for that.
A caller pointed out, “You have a pattern of not liking the new girls.” Erika didn’t miss a beat and put her own spin on that statement: “No, the new girls have a pattern of not liking me. It has nothing to do with me. Them.” That’s an… interesting take on things.
Jumping back to Erika’s debut as an author, Kim DePaola was the first person in line at Erika’s book signing in New Jersey earlier that day. I wonder if Erika had any idea who she was at that moment. She admitted, “I don’t know Kim D, but thanks for coming. That was cool.”

Is tonight the end of Mulder, Scully and The X-Files? It just might be. The Wednesday, March 21 season finale of The X-Files could very well be the last episode of the Fox series--ever....
I would give anything to witness the Housewives crossover that went down when Teresa Giudice, Carole Radziwill, and Brandi Glanville all took part in the same promotional event. Obviously, they all looked amazing, but I would love to know what they chatted about in between working. It seems like such a random grouping of people that I cannot help being interested in and entertained by.
Speaking of Teresa Giuidice, one of her most formidable opponents, Kim DePaola, the eternally infamous Kim D, hung out with Teresa’s estranged cousin Kathy Wakile… and made sure to photograph it, of course. When were these two ever friends? I can’t imagine Kathy wanted anything to do with Kim D when she orchestrated the Strippergate shenanigans back in the day. I imagine they got together to talk shit about Teresa and Melissa Gorga….or maybe I’m just getting dramatic and they just wanted to cause a stir by posing together for a social media post. If that’s the case, then mission accomplished. If they actually are legitimately friends with no ulterior motives, then color me shocked.
Other friendships that I just don’t understand involve the Vanderpump Rules cast. The dynamics in that cast are constantly shifting, but it’s possible to guess who’s on good terms these days based on the photos that were posted in between filming reunion segments.

Ryan Murphy's freshman series 9-1-1 is the most watched show on Wednesdays, and the most watched show on all of Fox, with 14.3 million viewers. With more than 400 scripted shows vying...There may be six women holding up peaches during the Real Housewives of Atlanta opening credits, but not all of them are bringing something to the table. Kim Zolciak isn’t even a full-time cast member and her daughter Brielle Biermann hasn’t even appeared on camera this season, yet the two of them have instigated the most significant drama – by far.
From the John Legend ticket debacle to the “roach” video, these two have been carrying the season on their backs – much to NeNe Leakes‘ annoyance.
Brielle is not a child anymore and NeNe made that very clear when she came for Kim’s daughter in her latest Bravo blog entry. The OG cast member wrote, “Seeing Brielle’s post, I was outraged, but this was all premeditated by her trashy mom. The reason for Brielle recording anything in my house has changed more times than Kim’s Party City Halloween wigs and face! If she was smart (which we all know she isn’t), she would admit her wrongs and apologize instead of back peddling every chance she gets!”
What’s Kim’s latest version of events? Brielle recorded the video in NeNe’s bathroom to warn Kim because she’s afraid of bugs.
NeNe dragged Sheree Whitfield into the drama with her next paragraph: “Kim and messy, two-faced Sweetie 2.0 (Sheree) are devious, slanderous, and reckless. They do not like me! They don’t want me to have anything and will do anything to discredit me.” And then she really went in: “Kim is teaching her daughter to be the same nasty, hateful, vindictive, plastic-wrap fake person! I will NEVER deal with any of them again in life.” I’m waiting for a Twitter rant from Brielle and Kim in 5, 4, 3, 2,1…. Or better yet, I wish that Brielle showed up to film the reunion, although I’m sure that the actual cast members would never condone that.
For the 9847473747362725747th time, NeNe claimed, “I will NEVER have anything to do with Kim again in life!” We have heard that one before. Plenty of times. NeNe continued, “She has thrown the most insults and lies over the years. She tries to put me down in any way that she can; saying that I’m on drugs and I have roaches is just the last straw for me. It seems as though she can say whatever, but the moment you say something back, you’re the worst person ever. I’ve said for years we are not on the same page.”
NeNe maintains, “No matter what anyone says moving forward, this I can tell you: I am DONE with Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Sweetie 2.0.” But you’re all on the same reality TV show. Can you ever truly be done if you are all contractually obligated to hang out and talk shit about each other during on-camera interviews?
And then NeNe addressed her comedy show controversy: “It was very difficult for me dealing with the fallout from my comedy show. I wrote, produced, and created this show myself. The people that attend my show love me and are coming to laugh and have a great time with me! However this wasn’t my show. This was the comedy show that I host, ‘Girls Nite Out For Laughs.’ I’ve never dealt with a heckler before, and when I had someone screaming at me, ‘Go kill yourself,’ I reacted out of emotion in a split second.”
NeNe admits, “I wish I could take it back! I never want to harm or hurt anyone! I hope that you all will stand with me and accept my sincere apology. As humans, we make mistakes sometimes. I’ve learned there are a lot of people that do not want to see you win!”

Last night’s episode of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills was about righting wrongs, ending recriminations, and dealing with loss. Except if you’re Dorit Kemsley, then it was about holding onto a grudge that doesn’t even belong to you.
First my condolences to Lisa Vanderpump who lost Pink Dog. Unbeknowst to Ken and Lisa, Pink Dog had a heart condition and went into cardiac arrest, dying in Ken’s arms on the way to the vet. Ken and Lisa are obviously devastated by losing one of their furry children, and worst of all, Ken blames himself. Then right after Pink Dog’s sudden passing, another of their pack, Pikachu, ended up on a ventilator. Grief? I’m sure Ken and Lisa have rescued at least 100 more dogs since then, and they’re now stacking them on top of each other like shoe boxes to form a furry bulwark against evil bitches, but it’s sad about Pink Dog all the same. RIP.
So for some odd reason, maybe because she has a conscience (something money can’t buy!), Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave calls Dorit to apologize for all the drama with Lisa Rinna. Now I’ve thought about this a lot in the week long absence from our Beverly Hills boondoggles, and yeah, I dunno – If I were Teddi, I might have told Lipsa about Dorit’s comments too. Her real mistake was letting DORIT know. Dorit didn’t deserve that kindness, and proving yet again that her obsession with manners is nothing but a poorly rendered wig facade, Dorit could not be less gracious in response to Teddi’s apology.
Instead of accepting Teddi’s apology and adding one for calling Teddi psychotic and treating her atrociously, Dorit rolls her eyes and complains that Teddi is only trying to justify her bad behavior. Basically that apology, like everything else about Teddi, isn’t good enough for Dorit’s aspirational delusions about her own self-importance. Maybe Dorit will roll her eyes so hard they’ll get stuck and she’ll be forced to take a good hard look at the inside of her own mind? Eh – just like her bank account and soul, it’ll probably be empty.
Also – wasn’t it Dorit who tattled to Erika Girardi and threw Teddi and all her other friends under the bus at Teddi’s beach house? I didn’t see HER apologizing to Teddi!
Kyle Richards meets Teddi for lunch and Kyle orders something with bread. I have to assume moving is causing her to stress eat carbs. Good for her – be normal in this cesspool of bought and paid for craziness. Kyle, like LVP, is not surprised that Erika turned into the Dragon Lady. Kyle reasons that Erika keeps so much bottled up inside that when she snaps it takes over her whole body.
We receive an interlude from Dorit sucking with a visit from Mama Lois, mother of all lips. Lipsa’s mom is charming, sassy, and all around good fun. Lisa decides to host a lunch so Lois can put all these entitled bitches in line. No one, she hopes, will talk back to her mama! Teddi wasn’t sure if she would attend, fearing another remix of Erika’s personality, but decided to rally and put her big girl jumpsuit on.
Lois orders French toast and all the women openly salivate while picking at their salads. But at least they all behaved appropriately! Nice to know some niceties, like respecting your elders, remain sacred (ahem… DORIT). And lucky for Teddi, Erika was absent from Lois’s schooling to speak at something called “Girl Cult.”
I am so confused by Erika’s “Girl Cult” thing. First of all, doesn’t Erika actually dislike women? She complained endless that she has no female friends by choice. Secondly, she’s wearing a jacket that says “Forgive Me Father For I Have Sinned” – to empower teens? Thirdly, the Girl Cult creators are men. Which just seems odd (not that this has anything to do with Erika). Am I missing something pivotal here? Like the point of Erika’s sudden Women’s Empowerment Funded By Elderly Peen? But I should stop being so judgey – maybe she’s trying to turn over a new gold leaf?
The penultimate party of the episode was the return of Kyle’s psychic friend Rebecca. Who brags of receiving “phone calls from heaven” (I’m pretty sure that was also a Hallmark Channel movie staring any actress with a dying career) from a spirit called “Papa God.” Which is probably also what Erika calls her husband. Rebecca is here to read them from dead.
Kyle believes wholeheartedly in all this. Of course she does, because she wants reassurance that Big Kathy loves her even from the beyond and her need for acceptance will fund this charlatan’s building of a beach house in Malibu. Poor Kyle – she even wore her special mystical gypsy caftan to better channel the dead with! Unfortunately Big Kathy’s only remark about Kyle creating a sitcom about her life is that Kyle isn’t using the right clothes and hair to represent her. BK says nothing of Kyle’s accomplishment, though. That was sad. Erika believes she has her own psychic powers. Which… if you could see the future, communicate with the dead, and read auras, wouldn’t you do a better job of connecting with the living?
We also discovered that Erika really is possessed! By spirts from her past life when she was a boy living on a ship. I’m guessing that personality was named “Erik” and somehow he reincarnated into Erika’s current personalities as anime character by night; trophy wife by day. Maybe she taps into her dead demons when she gets mad? Who knows… but now she really does scare me.
LVP puts Erika on blast by revealing that she is the only woman who did not contact her with condolences. LVP confronts Erika about her misunderstanding of the pack order. I thought it was a little desperate of LVP to basically be begging Erika for acknowledgement and then chastising her about how friends should behave towards her. But I dunno – grief can be weird, and Erika at least just gave her a hug and moved on. I mean if Lisa had been Teddi.
Nobody else is buying Rebecca’s nonsense but they’re all at the seance to support Kyle, receive a Lisa Rinna “duster” from her QVC collection, and maybe get a barking from the beyond as a hello from Pink Dog. Rebecca reveals that Dorit and PK apparently met in their past lives, where Dorit was predictably rude and late and PK was overbearing. Teddi’s childhood friend likes to hang out at her beach house and stalk her, un-living vicariously through Teddi’s marriage to Edwin the hottie. Twitter told Rebecca that LVP’s dog passed and she’s getting a sense from @BravoTV that the dog was pink.
Also, John Lennon is a really huge RHOBH fan, and bored in the beyond, he decided to chill at Kyle’s house? Or maybe he’s a huge fan of Erika Jayne‘s music?
What. Ever.
All things considered, the evening went well. There were no e-cigarettes, and no dredging up dead arguments. Best of all, Teddi and Erika decided to simply set aside their differences until another, more appropriate time, and be civil. Like two adult women, they both accept they will likely never be friends but for the sake of their extended friend group they can get along. It was so… refreshingly mature! Like crisp, tart sauvignon blanc after wine coolers from a Solo Cup at Dorit’s BBQ. Teddi even sat next to Erika at dinner, where they chatted about such superficial niceties such as earrings.
Over dessert, Erika announced that she’s taking a work trip to Berlin, and she’d like all the women to come along. Even Teddi. Then Erika apologized to Teddi for losing her temper, but explained that she felt Teddi’s accusation was out of line. Teddi accepted and apologized back and they agreed to have a one-on-one discussion later. Well, what have we here?! I have no idea if it was the Lois influence or the Rebecca one, or the calm before a very VERY terrible storm caused by Erika’s past boy on boat personality, but for now everyone is getting along and behaving like the adults we all knew they had hiding in their Birkins.
Well, Erika passed out invitations to Berlin, but Lisa Rinna passed out dusters. Seriously it was ‘You get a duster!’ ‘AAAAANd you get a duster!’ ‘Oh your dog died – here’s a duster to make you feel better!’ No Lipsa, we don’t want dusters! Do we? Cause what even is that?!
TELL US – SHOULD DORIT HAVE ACCEPTED TEDDI’S APOLOGY? ARE YOU SURPRISED ERIKA APOLOGIZED? DO YOU WANT A DUSTER?

Even though there has been some recent chatter about Caroline Manzo returning to Real Housewives of New Jersey, it doesn’t look that is happening- at least as of this moment. I would love to see her back in the fold going at it with her foes, but she just seems so much happier these days since she has nothing to do with this drama.
Caroline and her husband Al Manzo went on a romantic trip to London and Paris. That sounds a lot better than arguing with people at a Posche Fashion show or an opening for a faux restaurant.
Caroline and Al shopped for themselves and their granddaughter Markie, of course. They had a Parisian artist draw a portrait of their granddaughter. They checked out Freddy Mercury’s house and visited CoCo Chanel’s private residence.
