I always wonder what really happened when a Real Housewife says she is leaving a Real Housewives show “to pursue other opportunities” or some other vague statement about moving on. With some serious exceptions, I can’t imagine why anyone would quit a show with such a large platform, so I always find it tough to believe that any of these ladies leave of their own accord. Jacqueline Laurita came clean about why she will not be back on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
As a viewer, I am honestly not a fan of Jacqueline’s, but as a self-proclaimed reality TV expert, I feel like this show needs her around to provide opposition and controversy. Sure, I could do without the popcorn promotion and the plastic surgery testimonials, but without Jacqueline we are left watching a bunch of people who get along going on local trips and cooking Sunday dinners. Even the biggest Jacqueline haters have to admit that she does have a vital role on this show. Or at the very least she needs to be replaced with someone who has just as much (if not) more drama with the rest of the cast.

Jacqueline set the record straight via Twitter after a fan asked, “Are @siggyflicker and @DoloresCatania friends with @JacLaurita still? That’s the real question.” Jacqueline quoted that tweet and replied, “Yes, we talk all of the time! With @KathyWakile too!”

After that Jacqueline admitted, “They wanted me part time w/the option of full time depending on how my story unfolded. I chose not to film unless confirmed full time. More$” I feel like it’s a major slap in the face to go from full-time cast member to part-time, but then again this has happened to Jacqueline before, so maybe enough is enough for her. I don’t blame her for being annoyed, but I feel like there is no way she would be downgraded again. She has major conflict with Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. Danielle Staub is coming back with a vengeance. And no offense, but Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker are just too nice to have major story lines on this show.
Jacqueline would likely end up getting the full-time upgrade if she stuck around, but it was a little insulting to make her work for it. It was as if they were giving her an ultimatum to be a shit stirrer and she just wouldn’t go for it.
Jacqueline also tweeted, “Plus if it ended up being part time & not full time, it wasn’t worth my time, the aggravation, and $.” I don’t feel like it’s ever worth the time and aggravation to be around people you can’t stand, but I do feel like it would be worth the money. I’m pretty shocked that anyone would pass up that paycheck, but then again I have no idea what it’s actually like to be a Real Housewife.

I thought Lala Kent was done with Vanderpump Rules, but not (it seems like) she is back. Whether she will back next season or not is unclear, but Lala is someone that the whole cast loves to talk about. I never thought I would see any sort of tension with Lala and James Kennedy. I assumed that had to stick together as the two outsiders of the cast, but the two have had some ups and downs.
Are they really friends? Friends of convenience? Are they just reality show costars? Lala clarified their friendship status and even opened up about that one time she hooked up with James.

Lala talked all about her relationship with James in an interview with Heather McDonald on her Juicy Scoop podcast. Heather asked Lala if there are still friends these days and LaLa said, “Yeah. I would say he’ll always be a dear friend to me.”
Still, LaLa did say, “There are just certain things that he does where he gets into a zone and I like to make sure that my friends aren’t a liability.”
James is probably going to be mad at Lala for revealing that he is not sober these days- which is not super shocking to anyone who watches the show. Lala confirmed what we all assumed, “I know that he drinks now. I don’t know if he’s drinking every day.” She backpedaled a teeny bit, “I’m kind of in my own little world right now. I haven’t seen him recently.”
I’m so curious about the dynamic between LaLa and James’s girlfriend Raquel Leviss since Lala’s first season pretty much revolved around the possibility of hooking up with James. Lala confirms, “We did bone once. I would tell you all the details, but the only reason I knew it really happened was because there was a condom wrapper and a condom on the floor so I was like clearly something had to have happened.”
She did reveal when the deed went down though. Lala said, “We were both so drunk because it was the night that we filmed the finale where Katie [Maloney] has her engagement party. We were plastered. I don’t remember much. I know he doesn’t remember much.” Oh yeah. That was a good episode. Just in case you forget, it’s the one where Lala interrupted Kristen Doute’s speech and then drunkenly pushed her at SUR.
Heather asked Lala, “Do you think that you didn’t know that it happened because he weighs less than you?” Lala mused, “Maybe. I’m gonna go with that.” She later added, “I thought I was cuddling a teddy bear. A very bony teddy bear.” That’s the last thing any guy wants to hear from a performance review, but it really shouldn’t matter now since James is dating Raquel.
Straying slightly from the topic of the hookup itself, but focusing on the drunkenness, Heather and Lala discussed hangover remedies and Lala revealed that she actually gets IV drips done at her apartment. She said, “I started doing the drips. I just have them come.” Heather asked how much that costs and Lala responded, “I don’t know that because my boyfriend’s the one who hooks me up with it.”
Tonight is an all new episode of Vanderpump Rules – the season finale!! We’ll be seeing the rest of Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz‘s nuptials and then next week it’s on to the reunion! “Lisa officiates the woodsy elegant ceremony that only Katie and Tom could pull off. Jax re-evaluates his relationship with Brittany, and Ariana considers taking her relationship to the next step with Sandoval. Meanwhile, Lisa offers the Toms the business opportunity of a lifetime, but Schwartz fears making two commitments in one day. Finally, Scheana reveals a dark secret about her marriage that will change the rest of her life.”

Kyle Cooke and Cristina Gibson talked about all of the Summer House drama in a recent interview.
This included Cristina’s broken friendship with Lindsay Hubbard (a constant topic of conversation), her belief that Carl Radke used her as a scapegoat to get out of dating Lauren Wirkus, and her opinion that Stephen McGee is a bigger meddler than she was last summer. Kyle discussed his relationship status with Amanda Batula and provided some much-needed back story to their interaction.

Kyle and Cristina made an appearance on the Watch What Crappens podcast to talk about the Summer House season. As expected, Cristina was asked about her involvement in the Carl and Lauren saga. Cristina said, “I think Carl totally just scapegoated me. He basically lost interest in Lauren and used me as the reason for it when really I don’t think I had anything to do with it because I haven’t been involved with them since the end of summer and I haven’t said anything else about their relationship.” She added, ” I think he used it as an opportunity to spin it on me and Lauren took the bait. I was everyone’s scapegoat.” I feel like Cristina did meddle a lot over the summer, but it really didn’t seem like she had anything to do with Carl pulling away from Lauren.
I figured that when Lauren watched the show she would realize that Cristina wasn’t actually going out of her way to mess with their summer hookup relationship, but apparently that’s not the case since Cristina said, “She’s never apologized. I think right after filming ended, we were kind of on the outs and over time we got to a better place where we’re cool, we’re not as close as we were.”
Kyle made it a point to clarify what was really going on with Amanda over the summer. He adamantly declared, “I want to make it clear that she was more than a booty cool. It wasn’t just like three in the morning texts. We were texting during the day on the weekends and hanging out probably once a week.”
He also explained why Amanda asked “What else Kyle?” during the talk from the season finale episode. Kyle explained, “She was just like ‘Really? You waited until the Friday of Labor Day Weekend to tell about things that have been taking place out here for the entire month when we have been seeing each other, talking, and texting?’ So she had every right to be upset.”
He continued, “the challenge was Amanda was a big part of it, but Amanda wasn’t a part of the cast, so she never had the opportunity to tell her side. It wasn’t until the end that they were like ‘Kyle, would Amanda be open to it?’ And I was like ‘I guarantee you she would because she hasn’t a voice.’ That’s why out of context without knowing the history, I can see why people would be like why is she getting so upset? There were a couple layers to the onion there.” I know I don’t have the best taste in the world, but I have always been #TeamKyle, so I love him even more for defending Amanda and making sure that people don’t view her in a negative light. Sure, I kind of hated him for wasting her summer instead of just dating her, but if she’s good with it, then who am I to get vicariously upset over something that has nothing to do with me.
Of course, Kyle was asked if he and and Amanda are still together. Kyle revealed, “Yes, I can confirm that we are. We’ve had a ton of amazing time together as an official couple. Watching the show was difficult.” I’m sure it was.
Since Cristina was a part of this joint interview, it’s really not shocking that the topic of conversation came back to Lindsay. Cristina shared, “I think sometimes she thought we were acting in a movie or something because she Gchatted me the day after that and was acting like everything was cool.” This prompted the podcast host to ask if Cristina felt Lindsay was “playing up for the cameras,” and Cristina took that bait. She said, “I do. I think she was willing to do whatever she thought it took to try and get camera time.” She also made it a point to say, “I don’t think she has good intentions. At least people say I have good intentions. She said things a lot of the time to be hurtful and mean.”
When discussing Lindsay and her up and down relationship with Everett Weston, Kyle revealed, “I don’t know the actual current status. They hit one of their bigger snags a couple weeks ago,” which is most likely the same “break up” that Stephen referred to during a recent interview.
Speaking of Stephen, Cristina said, “Now watching it back, Stephen is a huge meddler. He did a lot more than I did.” She added, “The fact that when I was leaving and Stephen pipes up with ‘This all wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t get into everyone’s business,’ if I had known I would have shot back at him with something. – I would just like to say that was very hypocritical.”

There have been so many stories about the possibility of original cast members NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak returning to Real Housewives of Atlanta. I just want this to happen and I’m so over this “Will they? Or won’t they?” speculation. Just give us an answer and stop toying with my emotions!
Since the current Real Housewives of Atlanta season is still airing, I doubt we will hear anything official about next season’s cast for a while. Still, it’s the one topic that comes up in every interview with NeNe and Kim. NeNe was recently asked how she would feel if Kim was offered more money for her RHOA return.

Some TMZ photographers ran into NeNe and tried to bait her by asking questions about Real Housewives of Atlanta and Kim. NeNe was asked, “You and Kim are rumored to be coming back. If they offered Kim more than you, would that be a hard no?”
NeNe didn’t fall for that. After a little pause and an “Ummm,” NeNe declared, “They would never tell me what they’re offering Kim.” Still, the TMZ photographer pushed, “But if you found out.”
NeNe answered, “I don’t think that would even be possible” and added, “I’ve been on the show a very long time.” I would be shocked if Kim was offered more money than NeNe, so I could see why NeNe wouldn’t worry about this.
The photographer continued pushing NeNe to say something quotable by saying, “You’re the top.” NeNe made it clear, “I didn’t say that. I just said that I’ve been there for a very long time.”

When E!...It seems like there is a Kandi Burruss-centered story line in every episode of this Real Housewives of Atlanta season. She has been on the show since season two, but this is the first one where Kandi is really taking a lot of heat. It started with the demise of her friendship with Phaedra Parks and it has continued with Porsha Williams accusing her of attempted drugging and having a sex dungeon. Now Phaedra is involved in a lawsuit against Kandi and she did not see it coming… until she watched the latest episodes.
Kandi explained her reaction to those scenes with Phaedra and her former employee Johnny during an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. She shares her reaction to the sad drama that went down with Sheree Whitfield and Bob Whitfield in Hawaii. She also talked about the possibility of renewing her friendship with Kim Zolciak in the future.

Andy asked Kandi how Sheree’s son Kairo Whitfield did in the fashion show and Kandi said, “He did a good job.” She also talked about how awkward she feels seeing his modeling photos on Instagram. Kandi revealed, “I feel bad. Every time I want to like his pictures, I’m like ‘That’s a little wrong for me to be liking his pictures.'” That’s gotta be awkward. If she likes them, it’s kind of weird that she’s acknowledging that her friend’s son is attractive. If she doesn’t like them, she’s not supporting his modeling career. That’s a social media catch 22.
After that, Andy asked her about the most relevant part of the episode: Johnny’s lawsuit against Kandi– that Kandi’s ex best friend Phaedra facilitated. During the episode, Johnny alleged that Kandi stole the idea for her play “A Mother’s Love,” so it makes sense that Andy asked her if Johnny was the one that came up with it.
Kandi answered, “‘A Mother’s Love’ is about my family. You guys showed it on the show. It was about my mom and my sister: a musical about them. The songs are related to the show, you guys saw it on TV, so did he make up my life too?”
Andy also asked when Kandi found out that Phaedra helped Johnny with the lawsuit. Kandi admitted, “When I saw the episode. So much has been going on that I found out later. It’s so crazy.” She also teased, “You guys will see, I ask her about it and she denied having anything to do with Johnny’s lawsuit and I’m watching the show seeing her at the law office with him and her friend. That girl is so shady. Sooooo shady.”
I feel like this is abundantly clear at this point, but a caller asked Kandi if she would ever be friends with Phaedra again. Kandi just shook her head “no.”
The conversation took a serious turn when a caller asked Kandi how surprised she was by the way things unfolded between Sheree and Bob in Hawaii. Kandi revealed, “I definitely was extremely surprised because I knew Bob a long time ago before I knew Sheree. He was always really nice and funny so I did not know this side of him and I had never seen Sheree be emotional before. So those two things just made me be like ‘wow.’ I was not expecting that from that trip.” None of us were. A lot of fans were hoping for a reconciliation between the two exes… but not so much anymore.
The fans got a tease at what’s to come from the RHOA reunion episodes when Kandi was asked about the source of the “Marvin” rumors that Porsha brought to her attention. Kandi shared, “Well I know where they came from now, so I can’t really say.” Andy interjected, “We had a dramatic reunion. So that’s the answer.” I cannot wait for those episodes to air.
With all the hype around Kim Zolciak’s return during the RHOA finale and the rumors that she will be back on the show next year, I was super curious about Kandi’s answer when she was asked, “If Kim Zolciak apologized for what she did to you with ‘Tardy for the Party’ would you collaborate with her again?” Kandi replied, “I don’t think we should work together anymore.” She added, “I mean, we actually have a moment. You have to keep watching- in the finale. I feel like we can be friends again maybe one day, but not work together.”

After conquering LA with her Cargo collection, Cynthia is ready to take on Atlanta – America’s fashion mecca. Let’s be honest though, the real person Cynthia needs to impress is Sheree Whitfield. THE elegant and sophisticated fashion pioneer behind the infamous and influential She By Sheree. Big leagues!
Kairo has modeling dreams so as a favor to build his portfolio Cynthia asked him to walk in her show. Kairo dead-eye shuffles like he’s auditioning for The Walking Dead and is carrying his former human life in that mock-croc backpack. Sheree is the only one impressed, and she’s the only one unimpressed that Kairo’s only compensation is a measly bag. Even though most of the models aren’t even getting that.

Didn’t She By Sheree show an ice sculpture and some photocopies at New York Fashion Week? If she thinks Kairo is sooo much better than Cargo, SHE should have better connections than Cynthia.
Kairo at least got Noelle’s phone number for his troubles. Now she can ‘tutor’ him in modeling. That boy has less game than a broken X-Box, but Noelle – she’s a smart girl who knows how to work a controller. Cynthia warns that this connection better be “strictly runway.”

Speaking of keeping things professional, Porsha Williams decides to legally bind herself to Todd2 with a “Baby-Nup.” She drew a document to specify exactly what will happen if she gets herself knocked up without having Todd locked down. Porsha calls Phaedra Parks, aka Frack Esq. for advice on how to execute the so-called legal document (I’m pretty sure she copied and pasted it from Mad Libs), and Phaedra is like CLOSE YOUR LEGS TO UNMARRIED MEN! Everybody knows… Baby Daddies are soooooooo yesterday!
Phaedra knows – hot dog bun vaginas with no pickles are just so untasty. Especially when you can’t even see what you’re eating cause your big ol watermelon baby bump covers all the meat!
Basically this BabyNup is like an extension of Kanye West‘s Gold-digger anthem, and I’m pretty sure Mama Joyce wrote it, because it requests that Todd2 turn over all of his assets for the next 18 years, while allowing Porsha full rights to make any and all decisions. In exchange he can possibly have visitation. If he doesn’t sign, the only Porsha he’ll be getting is the one in a frumpy housecoat. Realizing that once she gets prego that’s the only Porsha he’ll see anyway, Todd wisely protects himself. “Confidence in us doesn’t come from a piece of paper,” he explains, before showing himself the door. Porsha is shocked. She has NO idea why Todd is seeing this as such a negative – all she’s trying to do is strengthen her bank account. For the baby.
I previously questioned Todd’s sense given that he’s dating Porsha, but now I believe him a man with a bit of gray matter behind that perfect smile. And Porsha… she really needs to stop counting Todd’s roll of coins before her baby-nup has hatched. Did I mention she is NOT pregnant; i.e. her bun is hotdog-less!
Well, one door closes and another one slams shut. Behind that door was the budding friendship between Phaedra and Kenya Moore. The divorce party was the Phuneral By Phaedra. Or the kiss goodbye on the penis. Or whatever.
Kenya’s cousin Che visits to hear all about how Phaedra’s true colors are smoke and marshmallows, and their truce in Flint disappeared the very second Phaedra no longer needed Kenya. In fact Kenya is tried of being blamed for everyone’s failures – this includes Matt’s. Yet she’s STILL not ready to officially, officially let him go. Instead she’s trying to ‘do a Cynthia’ by having a Friends With Benefits breakup, so she invites Matt to King’s (her dog) first birthday party. Matt is King’s father and all.
Sounds like Kenya needed a Puppy-Nup!
Over at Lake Bailey, Phaedra is crossing Cynthia’s threshold for the first time in SIX years. She wore her thong bathing suit under her jeans just in case they went for a swim. Lord those outfits: it was like gypsies (Cynthia), Tramps (Phaedra) and Thieves (their hearts stolen by Peter and Apollo!).
So they discussed Phaedra’s surprise divorce sipping Kool-Aid from wine glasses, sitting on a surplus sofa Cynthia purchased from Kenya. Phaedra is concerned Matt may have left a tracking device inside the cushions, but I’d be more worried he’d left another type of something behind. Let’s just hope Cynthia has access to a good Stain Doctor!
Anyway, Phaedra is not happy Porsha has “mentioned” her divorce to the other ladies, but if she must talk, it might as well be Cynthia who is going through her own. Cynthia is ready to be washed clean from her years of Peachter and asks Phaedra to baptize her by sprinkling the holy, cleansing Lake Bailey waters on her crooked wig. Haven’t we had enough restoration?
Of course, it’s really Phaedra who needs to be healed. For all the Jesus she claims to have let into her heart, forgiveness and fix it’s she has not found where Kenya is concerned. It’s ridiculous! Cynthia still hopes that Kenya and Phaedra can have another – yes ANOTHER – chance at healing if they succumb to the Lake Bailey.
No. Just no. Cynthia, Real Housewives Of Atlanta producers – that ship has sailed; it is lost at sea twirling and twirling and twirling because there are no lifesavers that can accommodate a stallion or a donkey booty. At least Cynthia’s proposed baptism got Phaedra to agree that Kenya meant no malice or mockery with her divorce party – it was just a good old time eating cut up penises!
Kandi Burruss goes to dinner at Aunt Bertha‘s so she can give them the good news that the OLG Restaurant is finally almost ready, and the bad news that Maui was a straight-up mess. Aunt Nora offers to “eat these hoes alive” for Kandi. Maybe they can add Canabalizd Housewives to the OLG menu?
Mama Joyce is already salivating as she pries for information about Phaedra’s divorce. Kandi reveals that Apollo hasn’t mentioned anything about it… WHY IS SHE STILL TALKING TO HIM?! Then Todd arrives – late – and all talk ceases for fried chicken. Even Ace, aged 9 months, get his own chicken wing. Kandi is raising him with the right priorities!
Betrayal goes two ways: Kandi speaks to Apollo, but Phaedra helps Kandi’s former assistant Johnny procure an employment attorney to possibly sue Kandi and Todd. Johnny accuses them of stealing the OLG Restaurant idea and the play A Mother’s Love.
Phaedra is overjoyed by the “battle royale” of tea Johnny has provided and literally takes a big ol gulp. Oscar, the real other attorney, is much more measured and only agrees that Johnny “possibly” has a case. He didn’t get any contracts in writing that verifies he shared his ideas with Kandi first. This is like Kim Z vs Kandi in Tardy For The Party – except this time Kandi is the Kim Z, and Johnny is the Kandi. Woaaaah, Oooooah (sung like the DBT song!)
Finally the Cargo fashion show is here! But where is Kairo? He is very late and misses call time, since his manager is Sheree, who is on her own time on her own planet orbiting her own ego. I thought Cynthia conducted herself very professionally and seemed extremely prepared for the show. Even if it did take place in the sewer where could Sheree’s BS could be heard swirling all around.
Sheree has no patience for Cal, Cynthia’s partner, attempting to check her on momager duties. Whatever happened to customer service, Sheree?!
All is forgiven and forgotten when Kairo walks down the runway which causes Kenya to momentarily get the vapors. She’s lucky the tiger mom that is Sheree didn’t catch her tongue. Yikes.
I guess Kenya is lonely since the only man she’s getting is illicit sex in the back of Matt’s truck. Kenya invited Matt to King’s momentous first birthday party, held at a dog boutique called Bark Fifth Avenue, to end on a good note. But, like many divorced parents, they cannot get along for the sake of the child. Poor King is gonna need Dr. Jeff!

Matt and Kenya end up yelling at each other in the back stairwell. Matt sulks, pouts, and tries his hardest to emotionally manipulate the manipulator. But Kenya has lots of years of practice on this neophyte. Two crazies don’t make a sane, but Matt is an emotionally unstable, a-hole who needs serious anger management.
Matt blames Kenya for stringing him along and lying, and she graciously acknowledges emasculating him and rushing things without giving him time to grow up to her level. But Kenya wasn’t single and alone before Matt (nope – she was reality TV fake-dating to great success), and she won’t be single and alone after (so long as she has Matt, in the truck, with the booty call)!
While Kenya officially, officially – this time! – ends things, poor Matt (sarcasm) hunches over sulking until she walks away. Well, King turned one and Krayonce finally turned into a grown-up. Motherhood really makes a gal mature! Though I don’t advise Porsha trying this in order to grow up.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK THIS IS FINALLY THE END OF KENYA AND MATT? SHOULD TODD HAVE SIGNED THE BABY-NUP?

I thought Teresa Giudice put all her legal issues behind her, but that is not the case. A judge reinstated her lawsuit against her former bankruptcy attorney. Teresa believes that the lawyer’s inferior work is what landed her in prison for fraud.
I feel like if I were Teresa, I would just move forward and focus on my adorable kids, tone my body with yoga, and rack in the cash from Instagram posts. It’s also surprising that Teresa is pushing this since she refuses to acknowledge her time in jail “away” and this just bringing that all up again.

According to NJ.com, Teresa’s former lawyer thinks the lawsuit is “absurd” and he blames the Giudices for “giving him inaccurate information.” This malpractice suit has been on hold for a year because there was an issue over who would get paid if Teresa won. Finally, Teresa and her creditors agreed that Teresa would get 55 percent and her creditors would receive 45 percent.
As of now, it seems like the malpractice suit won’t go to trial until 2018. I just hope that Teresa lets this go. She already served her time. She seems to be making a lot of money these days. She looks hotter than ever. It doesn’t really seem worth it to revisit this whole situation, especially when she’s taken a lot of criticism for not “accepting responsibility” for her legal issues.

I thought that people would stop talking about Jon Gosselin a long time ago, but it’s hard not to acknowledge this latest “news.” The father of eight is set to make his debut as a stripper in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Yes, you read that right. Stripper.
I would love to know what Kate Gosselin and her children think about this move. I can’t imagine that it would work in his favor when it comes to custody of his children. I also can’t imagine what kind of audience this would be catering to. Who wants to see this?

TMZ revealed that Jon will make his stripping debut at Dusk Nightclub which is in Caesars Atlantic City. I can’t help wondering who asked for this, but apparently Jon “got involved through friends who are running the show.” Brace yourselves for this one, the name of the show is Untamed Male Revue.
TMZ reports that the show is “burlesque-style” and not “hump in your face.” Well, that’s a relief. Apparently he’s been working out and rehearsing for a few weeks.
Jon posted a promotional photo for his debut on Instagram. Along with the pic, he wrote “The Big Debut…? April 1st, Dusk at Caesars in Atlantic City, www.menuntamed.com.” TMZ reports that April 1 is Jon’s birthday, so I assume that will be worked into the performance somehow. Could you imagine Jon Gosselin popping out of a giant cardboard birthday cake? Yeah, me neither, but I never saw this stripper thing happening and it is, so you never know.
