During last week’s episode of Below Deck, a drunk Kate Chastain jumped out of a moving van and threw laundry around the galley. In front of Captain Lee Rosbach. Ashton Pienaar, Brian de Saint Pern, Tanner Sterback, and Kevin Dobson were over Kate’s antics.
The guys are also over Rhylee Gerber. I’m sensing a pattern here.
On tonight’s episode, Kate says, “I feel like the entire crew hates me.” She also says, “People are just attacking me.” Well, at least she has Captain Lee on her side.
While Kate’s friendships with the crew members are strained, some of the romances on board are creating waves. Rhylee asks Brian, “How are you and Courtney [Skippon] doing?” When he tells her they are doing “very well,” Rhylee responds, “That sucks.” Rhylee is also done with the “boys’ club on deck.” She says she’s “f*cking calm,” but when has Rhylee ever been calm?
Tanner continues to be the biggest douchebag on the boat. He asks Simone Mashile, “You and I are keeping this casual, right?” Simone tells him, “Yeah, that’s fine.” However, we all know it’s anything but “fine.”
Oh, and there are the charter guests. One of them finds a hair in her cheese. They also face jellyfish in the water, which means the deck crew has to set up the much-maligned “critter pool.”
Things get heated on board too. Literally. The smoke alarm goes off in the galley, which is the last thing the crew needs on this less-than-perfect charter.

This year has not been kind to Meghan Edmonds. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum had to deal with a sexting scandal over the summer because her husband, Jim Edmonds, can’t keep his Dad jeans on. Jim’s biggest claim to fame is his reputation as a philanderer. For some unknown reason, Meghan didn’t kick him to the curb. Instead they entered therapy.
Then the couple learned that one of their twin sons, Hart, has Periventricular leukomalacia (PVL), which is a type of brain damage. Meghan immediately sought out early intervention for her son. Say what you will about Meghan’s personality, but it is obvious that she is a fierce and loving mother.
As if that wasn’t enough, Meghan suspected Jim of cheating with one of their nannies. Because that is something that Jim would always NEVER do. Two months ago, the former RHOC star posted in her personal blog about her suspicions. Under the title “Broken,” Meghan wrote, “To be clear, I don’t know if Jim slept with our babysitter or whether they were just being exceedingly inappropriate by hanging out socially without either of them telling me (and Jim expressly lying to me about it). I’ve gone back and forth with my thoughts for a couple days but as I write this, I don’t think he did. But I still don’t understand why he’d lie.”
According to US Weekly, Jim filed for divorce on October 25, which was one day after their fifth wedding anniversary. Ouch! The police were allegedly called after the couple argued. Nasty allegations were tossed back and forth in the media. It was a real shit show.
Then came the announcement in November that the feuding exes agreed to joint 50/50 custody of their three children. In Touch Weekly reported that the couple’s attorneys worked out the custody agreement. An insider said that Jim was supposedly “thrilled.” Meghan was “not happy.” I find it odd that Jim suddenly has time to spend with his family if he travels all the time for business. I can only imagine how “not happy” Meghan is with this decision.
And now, people have started to comment on Meghan’s thin appearance. Toofab reported that she has responded to a fan’s concern about her body. Meghan posted a photo to her Instagram. It showed a very thin Meghan pushing her one-year-old sons Hart and Hank on swings, while three-year-old daughter Aspen watched. Meghan posted, “Pushing each other along every day.”
“You look very skinny. I know you have a lot on your plate. And I can only imagine how hard it is to juggle it all. Take care of yourself momma, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Sending you love,” a fan wrote. According to toofab, Meghan replied, “I’m too thin. I’m a stress non-eater. I’m working on it.”
Meghan addressed her appearance again in another Instagram post. “Eat a burger. That’s what they say. I’ll be real with you: I’m too thin. But please, I deserve some grace,” Meghan stated. “I am doing the damn thing with all of the dignity I can muster as I put my kiddos before anything else. Much more on this (why I’ve actually lost so much weight, how I feel about it, and what I’m doing about it) #ontheblog #linkinbio #tooskinny #skinnyshaming #stressnoneating.”
Meghan cannot catch a break. I am hoping that 2020 brings her some much-needed peace, and the time to focus on her own health and well-being.

Vicki Gunvalson thought she owned Emily Simpson when she called her out for making an ageist comment. However, Vicki actually incorrectly blamed Emily for something Kelly Dodd said.
Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Emily from clapping back, winning over the fandom, and completely owning Vicki.
It all started when Vicki tweeted, “Watched @BravoRHOC last night & was shocked to hear @RealOCEmily bash me about my age of 57. Referencing me as “old, I should be in a convalescent home, and geriatric”. Really? I can’t change my DOB and you will get there too. #disrespectful #rude.”
Emily responded, “And I said ‘senior citizen’ … McDonalds and Arby’s offer “senior discounts” for 55 and older. So enjoy your roast beef sandwich.” Even Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy gave Emily props for her comeback.
Vicki claimed, “I wouldn’t know. I don’t eat fast food.” And Emily savagely replied with a photo of Vicki carrying bags full of fast food and a fountain soda. Emily won that battle, hands down.
That wasn’t the end of the social media shade though. Braunwyn Windham-Burke commented on a screenshot of the exchange with “I love Emily.” Same here, Braunwyn. However, I’m confused since Braunwyn recently credited the Tres Amigas for making her a “better person.”
Tamra Judge couldn’t believe that Braunwyn isn’t a mindless follower like Gina is said that. She responded, “you support this?” along with a facepalm emoji. Braunwyn reminded Tamra, “You know I don’t like Vicky.” And I’m sure she purposely misspelled Vicki after all of those “Boring Wind” and “Brown Wind” jokes Vicki attempted to tell.
Kelly chimed in with “That’s hilarious,” which it is. Emily completely owned Vicki without using the word “pig” or insulting her looks.

It’s been more than six months since she quit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but it looks like Lisa Vanderpump still can’t resist taking petty little jabs at her former BFF Kyle Richards.
In a video caught by paparazzi earlier this week, the dethroned queen of RHOBH took it upon herself to shade her fellow OG for seemingly no reason, and in a way that honestly didn’t make much sense.
The drama started when a reporter from TMZ decided to ask Lisa to name the worst Christmas gift she’d ever received during the gossip blog’s weekly “Celebrity Tour.”
“It has to be from Kyle Richards,” LVP stated from the doorway of Villa Blanca as a gleeful smirk crossed her face. Hmm…nothing like slamming your ex-bestie for absolutely no reason to the largest gossip site in the country to prove that you definitely don’t hold a grudge [insert eye roll here].
Next, LVP‘s moment in the shade turned completely bizarre. First, the TMZ reporter referred to Kyle as a man, asking, “What did he give you?” — thereby proving she probably has no business reporting on RHOBH or even working in celebrity journalism in the first place if she, you know, can’t identify famous people accurately. And then, Lisa made things even weirder by retorting, “I don’t know, I never opened it.”
Now, this statement from the great martyr of the 90210 makes no sense for a couple of different reasons. Let’s talk the obvious lack of logic first. If LVP never opened whatever gift Kyle gave her, then how would she know it was the worst Christmas present she’d ever received? She’s clearly making the story up on the spot just to be mean. And also, the comment makes Lisa’s attempt at shade look malicious, weak and downright pathetic. Not the savviest move from the greatest chess player in all of Beverly Hills now is it?
Interestingly enough, the whole exchange did, in fact, bring to mind the Season 9 reunion. (You know, the one that LVP refused to show up for?) At the time, Kyle actually did bring a birthday gift to the taping, hoping to extending an olive branch to her longtime pal after the two OG shared an awkward run-in at Neiman Marcus. However, being the consummate professional she is, Lisa chose to skip the reunion altogether, preemptively announcing the day before to the Daily Mail that she was quitting the show.
Throughout the Vanderpump-free reunion, Andy Cohen was so tempted by the box that he actually opened it himself, revealing a bright pink Manolo Blahnik belt that led him to declare, “Oh my god, it’s such a Lisa present. She would’ve loved this!” Guess it’s safe to say Kyle‘s not such a terrible gift-giver after all.

The digs back and forth will never stop when it comes to Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton. Kenya crashing Marlo’s wig event with a marching band and Kenya Moore Haircare products was far from the end of their issues.
In November, Marlo accused Kenya of having a fake Birkin handbag and made fun of Eva Marcille’s style- again. A fan brought this up during Kenya’s Watch What Happens Live appearance last night. And, it turns out, Kenya is not playing around.
A viewer asked Kenya, “What was your reaction to Marlo telling Page Six that your white Birkin bag is a fake?” Without skipping a beat, Kenya said, “She’s going to be getting sued for that.” Really? Sued for some light shade? Marlo has done way worse.
Andy Cohen gave her a confused look, prompting Kenya to say, “It’s real. It’s 100% real.”
Then, Andy spoke for all of us when he asked Kenya, “Is that worth the legal fees?” Kenya claimed, “It is because don’t tell lies on me. Talk about your stuff being fake, including your hair. When it comes to my things, leave my name out of your mouth.”
For the record, Marlo told Page Six, “You can tell Kenya has a fake Birkin [bag] — you can tell because of the fabric. You know how it holds, or stands up? That white one is definitely fake.” And, in case anyone was wondering Hermès bags can cost up to six figures.
In that same interview, Marlo remarked, “I just don’t think Eva Marcille is a good fit for the group … I want to see more than that with you from being a model.” She elaborated, “I would put her in a pencil skirt, nice jeans and a 5-inch heel, a blazer. Just something more than jeans and a T-shirt and her Birkenstocks.”
No word on whether or not Eva is suing Marlo for her shade, but I somehow doubt it. Oh, Kenya, just when we thought she couldn’t be more petty, she outdid herself. Again.

Last night’s episode of Married to Medicine gave us all the drama we missed in Cabo. I wonder when these ladies will just accept that most of them aren’t friends. I think the term “friend” is being thrown around too loosely. These ladies are more like frenemies than anything else.
Back from Cabo, Quad Webb-Lunceford celebrates being single with Cynthia Bailey. Toya Bush-Harris starts planning a big housewarming party. Scott Metcalfe and Contessa Metcalfe have a major breakthrough in therapy. Buffie Purselle throws a spa day to reconnect friendships. Let’s get straight into the Married to Medicine recap!
Quad in a horrible wig meets with Cynthia Bailey for cocktails. While discussing their divorces, Quad is still upset she was blamed for the breakdown of her marriage. Cynthia can also relate and still faces criticism. Cynthia encourages Quad with her own love story and thinks the same could happen for her. Maybe if Quad changes her nasty attitude.
Toya talks to Eugene Harris about having a housewarming party. She wants to invite 100 people and budget $10,000 for the event. It wouldn’t be Toya if she didn’t have a party to celebrate all of her good fortune. I don’t doubt she also wants to flaunt it in the face of some of the women who doubted her. I can’t blame her. If my house was that fabulous I would entertain as much as possible.
Contessa and Scott have another therapy session at home. Scott realizes he may have guilted Contessa into quitting grad school. He also admits he may have made comments to the kids that didn’t help the situation. The therapist thinks Scott sabotaged Contessa subconsciously.
Scott wants her to go back to school and finish. This makes Contessa extremely happy. I still don’t think the issue was school, it was the location. But I am glad these two came to a resolution. Watching them argue about the same topic was becoming tiresome.
Buffie has a spa date and invites all the ladies. Mariah Huq comes with her sister, Lake. Mariah claims she broke her foot in Cabo and brought Lake to help her. It’s clear she just wanted back up. Heavenly Kimes anticipates that there will be drama considering her accusation against Quad. Nonetheless, the women get on the party bus and head to the lake house.
Very quickly it’s apparent Jackie Walters is still not on good terms with Buffie. Toya breaks some of the tension by moaning a lot and making everyone uncomfortable. A yoga instructor arrives and surprises everyone with goat yoga. This is when I would have excused myself and made myself a cocktail. After the session, Heavenly wants to address the elephant in the room. Of course, that happens to be Lake and the accusations made about Quad.
Quad doesn’t want any part of the discussion. Toya asks what Lake needs from Quad. Contessa wants Toya to stay out of it. Lake says that her friendship with Quad took place before the other friendships with the other women. So there are things they will never truly know. All in all, we will never truly know what really happened. No one is going to admit to lying. Apparently, Contessa pipes up a little too often and is told to “zip it” by Lake.
After the spa day, it doesn’t seem like Buffie and Jackie made any real progress. In a post interview, Jackie thinks things have improved between them. Ummm… no! I don’t know what world Jackie is living in. I am slowly but surely growing to dislike this new Jackie. All Buffie wanted was a genuine apology.

Last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta went deep into toxic relationships.
Cynthia Bailey is doing anything to make #CHill a permanent arrangement. Cynthia is even cleaning out her closet so she can convince Mike Hill to move to Lake Bailey. Basically she wants to hold Mike captive there, and he would easily be buried alive in the mess that Cynthia calls a closet!
Kenya Moore comes over to do a closet consult and is appalled by the hoarder situation she sees. Cynthia’s closet may be a mess, but her new interview look is sublime!
Kenya is very concerned about the status of #CHill (She is the only one!) Kenya wants to know: is Mike going to propose? Is Cynthia rushing? Is Mike really planning to move to ATL? Is this move taking too long? But Kenya needs to worry about the status of her own non-marriage to Marc Daly. She can read all the Michelle Obama biographies she wants for marital advice, but if Marc isn’t willing to participate, Michelle cannot fix Kenya’s life!
Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss is dealing with Todd’s ADD approach to businesses and parenting. First Todd randomly bought a tractor trailer? Why? To haul all his bullshit and secrets away from the streets? Now Todd wants to open two more restaurants, but in the meantime, he’s forgotten he has daughters. He’s not speaking to Kaela even though she lives in their house, and he can’t seem to remember that they have a baby on the way. Kandi complains to Carmon that Todd’s ambition for what Kandi’s bank account can accomplish is stressing her out. Kandi’s one to talk though – she just launched a lipstick line and is always running around trying to start plays, and launch a million projects.
Kandi biggest concern though is that she doesn’t know if she and Todd can be on the same page with parenting. They both make all the decisions when it comes to their children from previous relationships, but Kandi spoils Riley while Todd ignores Kaela. When it comes to Ace, Todd is involved, but Kandi worries that their differing parenting styles could create mayhem.
For instance Todd skips town for another ‘business venture’ on the day Kaela permanently moves to NYC, leaving Kandi to take her to airport. Even though Kandi and Kaela have a distanced relationship. Kaela can’t even remember if Todd said goodbye before he left. Remember when we all liked Todd? Yeah, now I understand what Mama Joyce saw.
On the bright side, Kandi’s interview look is also amazing. I love her with short hair.
And then there is Porsha Williams. Oh Porsha… For some odd reason Marlo Hampton is still around, but Bravo is really making her work for her screen time by forcing her to rent one of those party pedal bikes to cruise around Atlanta in the mid-afternoon heat. I am so confused by this – the operative word is “party,” yet it is only Porsha and Marlo on the bike. Did the other women refuse to attend after the fiasco that was the wig launch? Predictably Kenya is unrepentant after her band stunt, and Cynthia is now questioning her friendship with Marlo and wondering if she’s the one who secretly recorded her and sent it to NeNe Leakes. Until Cynthia has answers, Marlo is enemy number one.
Despite her own issues with NeNe, Porsha still considers Marlo her ride or die. Literally. For the party bike, party of 2 outing, Marlo is wearing a full sequined outfit with a crop top that doesn’t cover her boobs. The underboob is flying out.
Porsha and Marlo are not only drinking, but smoking a hookah too. It’s a good thing there is a backup battery on this bike because otherwise they never would’ve made it to The Hot Dog Factory to stalk Dennis McKinley enabling Marlo to enact her plan to get Porsha and Dennis back together again.
Marlo needs to quit with the diplomacy act. Marlo cannot put these Humpty Dumpty relationships back together again. On the bike she complains that Porsha isn’t being more open with the group about what’s going on with Dennis, but it’s hard for Porsha to even talk about it given that she’s so confused about what to even feel.
Somehow this becomes about why Porsha isn’t giving Nene another chance at friendship. Um, maybe because NeNe is an unrepentant jerk who called Porsha fat days after she had given birth?! Also when did Marlo become the ambassador to NeNe Island? She needs to be recalled for Fashion Rights violations.
Marlo wants Porsha to be like Michelle Obama and go high even when NeNe goes low, but Porsha’s political acumen got run over by the Underground Railroad. Everyone needs to stop referencing Michelle Obama! She doesn’t have anything to say about Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
But at least is Porsha is going to stand her ground – she’s not going to let Dennis OR NeNe mistreat her. Fool her once, shame on you; fool her 5 times; shame on you. Well in theory, because the next thing Porsha knows the party bike is pulling up in front of Dennis’ hot dog store and as if in a trance Porsha moves towards. The thing she misses most about Dennis is free hot dogs after all!
Marlo is obsessed with Dennis! She’s about to climb into Dennis’ bun now that Porsha has vacated it, and she is acting like the man did nothing wrong by cheating on his pregnant fiancé. This, and her friendship with NeNe, tells you all you need to know about Marlo’s standards…
Speaking of, NeNe has her life coach over for cocktails so she can be reassured that nothing is ever her fault. NeNe is on a “self-healing journey,” which means her ever selfless friends need to understand that it’s still all about NeNe as she’s working on herself. As part of that process NeNe cannot apologize until she’s certain the apology is deserved. How convenient! Essentially NeNe only wants her friends for what they can do for her and it’s their fault she has been iced from the friend group.
NeNe is re-writing history to make herself the victim, but we SEE her. Since no one understands her journey NeNe isn’t sure she can trust her vulnerable emotional state on the girls trip to Canada. Meaning that away on a trip NeNe’s former fiends will have ample time to CALL HER ASS OUT when she can’t run away. Just shut up NeNe and stop secretly recording your friends!
Cynthia and Mike meet Eva Marcille and her Mike for dinner at some weird bowling alley that involves throwing footballs at bowling pins. I did not get it. The talk of the table is the secret recording session NeNe made of Cynthia supposedly talking crap. Mike is a defense attorney and although NeNe is shady as hell and a terrible friend, she didn’t break the law by having Cynthia recorded.
Yovanna denied being the culprit, but Cynthia ins’t so sure she’s telling the truth. Her other pick is, of course, Marlo. Eva is convinced that Marlo is the one, but is she?
Then they play Mikes Vs. The Models to determine if Cynthia will move to LA (and give up her only lucrative job), or Mike will move to ATL. The loser moves. Obviously Cynthia loses. So Real Housewives Of Orange County time?
With her marriage in dire straights Kenya goes to an attorney to see about putting all her assets in a trust for Brooklyn in case Marc kills her Lifetime Movie style she dies. Kenya is basically afraid Marc will get her money and nothing will be leftover for her daughter. Marc didn’t want a prenup so there is nothing protecting Brooklyn except for Kenya, and Marc also has other kids plus several businesses. The attorney is no nonsense, but Kenya is a ball of tears as she admits she doesn’t even have anyone to put as the executor of her will because Marc can’t even be trusted to be her medical proxy. Um, where’s Aunt Lori?!
Lastly Porsha and Dennis go to therapy to try and decide if they can try to give their relationship another chance. At first it was HELL NO because Dennis kept referring to his cheating as “a mistake” when it was calculated and orchestrated. Porsha cannot even begin to forgive until he takes full accountability in admitting that it was a choice. YES, Porsha.
How refreshing to see that therapy is working for Porsha. Contrast that to how it has not worked for NeNe.
Dennis blames a difficult pregnancy and awkward postpartum/pregnancy non sex for the reason he stepped out, but Porsha is horrified and disgusted. (ME TOO!) Mostly she’s angry and disappointed. After a lot of real-talk yelling and some apologizing from Dennis, Porsha agrees to consider trusting Dennis again, but she will not let PJ see her mother disrespected by her father nor will she let her daughter grow up in a house of “Fake love,” so Dennis either has to make the choice to be faithful or they will work towards peaceful co-parenting and that’s it. Good for Porsha!
Dennis promises he wants to be a family, and Porsha seems pleased to be working towards reconciliation. I don’t think this is a good idea, but I understand her wanting their family in tact. PROCEED WITH CAUTION. And probably also read the Michelle Obama book.
