Well tonight looks like the night the niceties vanish and stuff gets real on Celebrity Big Brother. Firstly we have the viewer warning and then the trailers of arguments and new additions (and if the rumors are to be believed, Speidi are not going to know what’s hit them).
So on with the show. Straight off, Stacy’s doing that breaking into song thing again. Which is getting really tired now. One minute talking, next minute booming out a note. If she’s not doing that, she’s talking about Whitney Houston. Again. At least this time she’s actually talking to Ray J about it rather than about him. Thankfully she stops blasting her tunes long enough to have a deep conversation about Whitney’s death and Ray J admits he blames himself, as he had gone to get shoes for a night out and took too long so was running late. A sad conversation which thankfully the housemates treated with respect, decency and tact. Ray J is clearly upset afterwards and seeks solace in the diary room, visibly distressed. Such a shame.
We move to today’s task and the newbies have to impress the producers group by acting out scenes featuring each other. Everyone takes this in good spirits (would love to see this happen again in a couple of weeks and see if it goes just as peacefully). Two housemates have to be edited out based on being least entertaining.. Bianca is one, and Ray J is the other. They have the dubious pleasure of the beige tracksuits and will no longer take part in key moments in the house. I think they’re meant to care more than they do. Maybe the beige trackies are fleece-lined and ultimate comfort? Maybe they just don’t understand the rules. Maybe they’re hoping being edited out gives them invisibility powers and they won’t have to deal with Speidi anymore
And then it’s party time in the house. Edited out housemates are not permitted to join in and are confined to the bedroom to watch the fun and festivities. Austin hasn’t got the memo though and starts getting emotional that he’s holding back due to being in a new relationship and being concerned about how he’s being shown. Spencer has also been caught taking the bottles of water and hiding it, something that ain’t gonna wash (‘scuse the pun!) with these guys. James organizes everyone, and Stacy and Bianca take them from the bed where they’re hidden, and share them out on everyone’s bed. However when they come to check later on, it appears Spencer and Heidi have taken them back. The first bust up of the series kicks up when Austin tries to check Speidi’s bed and ends up in a screaming match with Heidi. James tries to guide Austin away, whilst Spencer stands to one side and snarks loudly. Austin grabs a bucket ready to solve the water crisis (Kinda. I think someone was just going to get a dunking!), and gets guided to the diary room by James where Big Brother tells him that BB have given housemates enough sufficient water, and that housemates are grown up enough to distribute between them.
Erm Big Brother??? The whole reason Speidi are in the house is precisely because they are not mature enough for this. Whilst Austin is seriously losing his stuff in the diary room, the cameras flash over to Heidi and Spencer fist bumping each other in celebration. I mean, what the heck?!?!#
28 minutes later and Austin has calmed down enough to re- enter the house. Until he literally walked out the diary room to have Spencer trying to wind things back up again. Spencer follows him around baiting him, and when he doesn’t get a reaction, he and Heidi go to the diary room to show great glee in taking the water. Spencer admits he loves the drama, where the rest of the housemates are outside discussing the night’s events and realizing the honeymoon period with Speidi is officially over.
After all that, we cut to live footage from the house. It is explained that the edited out housemates have lost their nomination rights (but can be nominated), however the two newbies that survived the editing process will have be granted great powers later that night. These two housemates, are Angie and Jamie O’Hara. Speidi look like they’ve swallowed a tarantula. Guess someone wishes they hadn’t started Watergate so quickly….
Unfortunately, this takes us to the end of the catch up show, with the live show being shown separately. I am torn between wanting Speidi to be first evicted to watch the smugness be wiped from their faces and epitomized on you tube for prosperity, and them being saved to give me something to cringe at on a nightly basis. It seems I’ll find out in approximately sixty minutes…..
Celebrity Big Brother- Live Episode
We rejoin the house with the news that nobody will be evicted tonight. Jamie and Angie are given the power to nominate one of the edited out housemates to face the public vote. They have the choice between Bianca, Stacy, James Cosmo, Brandon and Ray J. Each has 15 seconds to put up an argument to stay, with Ray J and Brandon going for comedy value. Jamie saves Bianca, and Angie tries to save her too. Angie then realizes she has to go for someone new and goes for Stacy so she can hear her sing (like we’ve not had enough). Jamie’s second save is Ray J, with Angie’s final save being Brandon. That leaves James Cosmo up for public nomination with the news that the Producers control of the house is now over. James C seems very nonplussed. I still think he only left home for milk and just hasn’t made it back.
And back to the new housemates. It’s no surprise to find out Jedward are entering the show. Their only saving grace is that I can see them really blowing Spencer’s mind. Then again I will have to watch them. You may find these recaps become shorter….
Jedward have admitted that they watched the opening show but haven’t watched things since so they have no pre-conceived ideas. Their pre-house interview is boo-ed throughout by the public and the initial 5 minutes shows they are no less annoying than I remember.
The unsuspecting existing housemates are enjoying a wrap party, to celebrate the end of the Producers task, and are summoned to the garden for their Party entertainment, however it’s already been guessed that Jedward will be it. They all line up, but talk amongst themselves during the big announcement. And then they walk on stage and start singing. LOOK WHAT YOU STARTED STACY. We then learn that their time away wasn’t spent with vocal lessons….
The closing comments drop into conversation that the first eviction will be held next Friday. That’s a full week with this lot!!! The only saving grace is Spencer’s face after the big entrance. When John (or Edward, who knows) goes to speak to him, he looks like he’s been slapped in the face by a fish. Comical.
And there we have it, the end of the episode. I don’t envy that house tonight (even with the super funky diary room décor)….

Despite reports claiming that filming for Keeping Up with the Kardashians had been suspended indefinitely after Kim Kardashian‘s Paris robbery, the show rolls on! Just one day after Kim returned to social media officially, E! put out a teaser trailer for the new season, which kicks off in March.
The reality star and her family did film new footage for their reality series during these past three months. The new 30 second teaser clip shows Kim crying to Khloe and Kourtney over the robbery and emphasizing how scared she’s been since.
Even Kanye West’s breakdown is going to be featured this season. In the trailer we see Kim getting a call about his meltdown. (I thought she had landed in NYC for an event and turned right around and flew home when it all went down, but maybe the call is regarding the “after” fallout once she’s back home). So, as always, nothing is going to be off limits.

Many speculated that the show would be history as Kim wanted to live life low-key and out of the spotlight and just focus on her family after her traumatic incident in Paris. Guess they were wrong about that. The show must go on…

The Good Fight is going to get nasty, the trailer warned, but what they didn't tell you is things will get nasty, but in style. CBS All Access released the first images--including gallery...It’s no secret that Caroline Stanbury isn’t a fan of Julie Montagu and her persistent Lady of The Manor chase this season on Ladies Of London. But Julie doesn’t chalk Caroline’s feelings up to jealousy over her title – she just thinks they’re opposites with “big personalities.” If by “big,” she means that Caroline is an F5 tornado and she’s a slight mist on the horizon after a summer sprinkling of rain…then, okay! I’ll bite.
Julie also thinks Caroline’s issue with her lies at the very heart of Mapperton – an estate that Julie and her husband Luke are poised to be saddled with for life take on. Caroline, having grown up on stuffy estates like Mapperton, has repeatedly bemoaned that she wants nothing to do with that sort of lifestyle or its aristocratic chains anymore. “Caroline and I, I think we’re both big personalities, and I believe we’re totally opposite in every way. She’s basically rebelling against what I’m just about to take on,” says Julie.

Thus, says Julie, Caroline is out to get her. “‘Do I think she’s jealous of me?’ No. But I think it’s something that she ran away from, that she doesn’t like. And so even stepping foot on Mapperton makes her feel incredibly uncomfortable,” she tells Bravo’s Daily Dish.
Add to this tension Sophie Stanbury’s newly minted loyalty to Julie, and the ladies seem to be placed squarely in a virtual powder keg of resentment and fury. Sophie, Caroline’s soon to be ex-sister in law, claims she just wants to be at peace with both women, but didn’t do much to broker this peace when she went behind Caroline’s back at the beginning of this season, spreading gossip to Julie about Caroline’s opinion of her.
Since filming, Julie says things are more civil. Asked whether she and Caroline are in contact, Julie answers, “Do we speak to each other every day? No. Do we speak to each other often? No. Do we very occasionally send each other a decently nice text? Yes.” Aww. Decently nice texts, y’all! (Progress?)
Although some have wondered if Julie has been clamoring to yank Caroline’s queen bee status away and lock it in one of the dusty halls of Mapperton, Julie says otherwise. She also doesn’t miss an opportunity to throw shade at Caroline for NOT having a title (a fact that Julie innocently claims no one should be “jealous” of).

Stating that she’s “content and happy” just as she is, Julie explains, “I’m certainly not trying to pull a crown off of anybody’s head because, listen, I already have one. I am gonna be the Countess of Sandwich. There is actually a family tiara that I wore on my wedding, so I actually do have a real one. So I’m fine with the one that I already have.”
Julie also says she hates to use the word “jealous,” but does wryly admit that “when you have a title in England, it’s like extra-credit points. There are special benefits to having a title. There are special circumstances that you would get over anybody else because you have a title.”
Julie adds that the “automatic respect” awarded to British citizens with a title is also at play – but she totally doesn’t lord it over anyone. Really! <eye roll> “It’s the weirdest thing ever, but there is still this sense of glamorizing people who do have a title. You do sometimes get special treatment because of it.”
So, is all of this so-called “hatred” of the word jealousy why we see previews for next week of Julie snarking that Caroline had to “rent a castle” (the NERVE!) for the trip to Scotland she’s hosting? It couldn’t be Julie gloating over the title she so adamantly defends as NOT being a point of contention, right? Because Julie is just so humble and not a try hard at all.

Call me naive, but I had no idea that Cynthia Bailey had breast implants until the last Real Housewives of Atlanta episode when she had that super weird breast exam party with the entire cast in the doctor’s office. Sure, exploiting cosmetic procedures for a social occasion is nothing new for reality TV, but this was odd. Yet, the most significant scene for Cynthia’s storyline didn’t even have her in it. Yes, I’m talking about that emotional heart to heart between Cynthia‘s daughter Noelle Robinson and soon-to-be-ex-husband Peter Thomas.
Peter has been petty and nasty in the press, so I’m truthfully kind of surprised that Noelle wants to hang with him still, but she has known him for many years, so I guess that makes sense. In her blog, Cynthia shares how she felt about these two meeting up for a hot yoga session and that serious discussion about how to continue their own relationship.

Even though it’s a #TotalHousewifeMove to have a social event in a doctor’s office, I still find it strange that Cynthia had a breast exam party. She explained why she did in her blog/interview with Bravo.
Cynthia revealed, “Originally, I only planned to invite Kandi [Burruss] to my breast exam. In past conversations, she had expressed an interest about future breast augmentation. So, I thought that if I brought her with me, it would be a great opportunity for her to ask the doctor any questions that she might have.”
On why she ultimately chose to make it a group event, Cynthia admitted, “All the ladies have seen my breasts before anyway. So this was a great moment for them to touch them as well! They were excited, and it was a nice break from all the drama.”

I mean, yeah, but they’ve only seen them by accident when they popped out in the middle of violent encounters. Plus having all of the Housewives in the room is a guarantee that a Cynthia-centered scene won’t get cut from the show. I have love for Cynthia, but it’s not as if she brings the most entertainment to the show.
Personally, I was moved by Noelle’s talk with Peter and I’m loving her more frequent appearances on the show. Cynthia shared her reaction to the scene: “The conversation between Noelle and Peter touched my heart. I cried watching them together. I didn’t expect to get so emotional. I was speechless.”
I didn’t cry, but I truly did think it was a sweet scene and it was honestly the best Peter has ever come off in this history of RHOA.

Day 2 in the Celebrity Big Brother house and Ray J is waking up on the sofa because apparently it’s disrespectful to a spouse to share a bed with someone. Has this guy seen the show? Or get any warning what Big Brother entails whatsoever? He needs a word with his manager…if sharing a bed with male or female is this much of an issue, he has some shocks coming his way while he’s here.
We’re still at the stage of the game where everyone is feeling each other out, and weighing each other up. Bianca Gascoigne has a very deep and meaningful conversation about her father with Nicola McLean and Jasmine Waltz (who has been suspiciously quiet so far – the whole thing is like Jenga, when you prod and tease at the blocks to see which is the easiest to bring the whole thing down). Unfortunately, the meaningful conversation is wasted on me as Bianca appears to have metal spikes down the parting of her hair. Like, what the…?! Does she sleep with that in?? Does it not snag?? Does she wake up in a pool of feathers and a ripped pillow cases?? How bizarre.

Heidi and Spencer Pratt end up in the snug room, talking about the other contestants and whether they are a threat to them. They have either forgotten about the cameras or are handily giving a narrative for the rest of us. Angie and Calum Best seem to have caught their attention the most and how well they are coming across. Maybe Speidi should be taking notes on how to make friends and influence people. Perhaps they could borrow the pens and paper from the first show to jot this stuff down. They need something…
Ray J and Stacy Francis have a conversation in the smoking corner of the garden about Ray J’s relationship with Kim Kardashian, whilst being joined by some of the other celebs. I know Bianca’s there. Her hair spikes tower above Coleen Nolan. Stacy is trying to say how much Kim was broken hearted by Ray J, who responds by saying how much they were both players. Stacy says she used to be in the house where Kim was styling him out and how she was crying about Ray J.
Does Stacy name drop or does she genuinely just hang around with all these A-listers? In which case, is that her fame, her phone book? Stacy really does grill Ray J but he handles himself well and answers all her questions with grace and tact. I say handles himself well – probably not for the Big Brother Producers. They paid money for this guy and his gossip and they guy just isn’t giving it up. Bring on the alcohol!
Housemates then have a casting couch task to choose who is next to be edited out. First up is Jamie O’Hara who is asked who he fancies in the house (Jasmine) and would he have sex in the house (No). Brandon Block is asked why he drove a car off a ferry (he clarifies he DOVE off the ferry, not drove, and merely as he thought it was a sensible thing to do at the time) and if he has had sex at space night club (and apparently he has never been in a fit state to do that there).
Angie is being questioned by Calum so I’m hoping the questions are less sex based otherwise that could be REALLY awkward. He first asks if he is actually Elvis Presley’s son (according to the fact sheet they are given she once had an encounter with him), and she joins the joke by agreeing and telling the tale – she was in Las Vegas when she was 19 with George Hamilton, Sammy Davis Jr, and his wife (kinda puts my pals to shame). The Colonel approached them saying that Elvis would like to see them in his dressing room. She went to see him and he told her she was the most beautiful girl in the audience and they exchanged numbers. Awwww.
Angie is brought right back down to Earth (how dare she have attention of her own) by Heidi asking what she would do if Calum hooked up with someone in the house (answer: nothing). She’s then asked by James if anyone is grating on her in the house, and she happily calls out Spencer, saying that no one can tell if they’re having a sincere conversation with him as he is too busy playing all the little games and he will not let people close to him.
Spencer looks slightly uncomfortable that he’s being called out so early on, and in a really nice way, so he can’t bite back. Angie calls him untrustworthy, to which he responds, “It’s only a game”. Quick as a flash, she replies, “Right back at ya!” The crowds whooop and people start dancing on the streets of England that this 64 year old woman just totally owned someone that’s renowned for being a villain, with absolute grace and finesse (And OMG, she so does not look 64 years old. Gonna have to get me a healthy lifestyle if that’s what it does for you!). OK, I lied about the partying on the streets, but this has got to be my favorite moment of the series so far. This woman is awesome.
Next in the hot seat is Bianca, who once said the most famous person she has ever kissed is Calum Best. Nicola asks if it was just a kiss (yes) and Calum asks if it will happen again (maybe) whilst the viewing public cringe that his mother is watching this. Bianca is then asked about having a game plan, but gives the standard “I just want to be me” response.
Ray J seems as enthralled on this answer as I am, and falls asleep on the sofa again (what is it with this guy and couches?), not for long though, as he is up next.
Obviously the first question is about the sex tape and the fact that Ray J has four top 50 albums and all the work associated and yet what he is most known for is having sex with Kim Kardashian, and whether that bothers him (no, not really). James asks for more details on the tape but Ray J has clearly been warned by his legal team and says that he can’t go into detail. Coleen asks if it’s true he spent $30,000 on a birthday party for his dog, and he admits it was a little more.
I actually didn’t think I would like Ray J, but he has come across really well so far, along with Angie. If the celebs aren’t careful, it will be these ‘lesser known’ guys (to us at least, I appreciate Ray J may be better known over there, but I genuinely had never heard of this guy before now) that win.
Anyway, back to the task. The producers (all-stars) have to decide next to be edited out and the pads and pens are out. This means things are serious. Spencer makes the mistake of nominating Angie and you can tell Calum is not impressed. Spencer forces the issue a little more, and Calum point blank refuses. Brandon is instead chosen.
Then we are shown footage of Spencer and Heidi in the bedroom discussing how they provoked a reaction from Calum for picking on his mom, Calum outside discussing protecting his mother, and Angie in the kitchen calling out Spencer for trying to get back at her naming him as game player. The house may need more rooms.
This is a definite tinderbox and I can see this sparking some major drama in the house, although in the same note, Calum looks so sweet in defending his mom and only doing what most of us would do in that same situation. It’s good to see the ‘non-celeb’ side to him.
Later in the evening, Stacy opens up to Momma Nolan regarding the argument with Whitney and what happened. She puts it down to a misunderstanding between them both regarding Ray J and talks again about how hurt she is that he didn’t defend her (I need to google how Ray J fits into all this as I’m lost with it all), but Coleen talks it out and it’s all good.
Or it is till we go into the kitchen, where Jasmine, Calum, and Bianca are talking about Nicola getting upset earlier in the garden about missing her children. Jasmine has asked if she was okay, and Nicola had said that she was missing her kids. Jasmine had answered that it had only been a day (defending herself, she said she meant it that it was only the beginning and was only going to get worse, and that she didn’t have kids so didn’t know what it was like for her), and Calum reasonably explains that it was this comment that people didn’t like. To be fair, it was a silly thing to say and there are no excuses for it.
Nicola is shown sobbing in the diary room, and it sparks the conversation outside the diary room with Jasmine and Bianca that is standard in the house – whether a mum of young kids should go into the house. I don’t think there’s a right answer here, but it seems to fade into the distance when the footage cuts to later in the night when most of the housemates are in the kitchen and talking about Nicola’s breast size. Speaking of which, when did breasts start getting sized in cc’s??? Apparently hers are 1010 ccs, or as James puts it, “You don’t get many of them to the pound!” We learn that 1010 ccs are double G and that Heidi had her 750 cc’s removed. Who knew boob jobs could be so technical. It’s almost educational.
The episode closes with the standard conversation about Heidi and Spencer and their game playing. To the point now where I hope they live up to their hype. They seem to have a lot to live up to, and everyone is so wise to them, it’s going to be harder to do. The credits roll on fun and laughter, but the warning signs of tension were there with Calum and Speidi so I don’t think it’ll be long till the house is livened up. Anticipation is nine-tenths the pleasure.

Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds will get a victory lap of sorts with Bright Lights, the HBO Documentary about their relationship directed by Fisher Stevens and Alexis Bloom. It's now a...I am a sucker for all things Jennifer Lopez, so I’m interested to see how her new dance reality show ends up being. At the same time, there are a shit ton of dance-focused reality shows on television so I don’t know who’s asking for another one. Nevertheless, I trust JLo and I’ll give World of Dance a chance, especially since Jennifer revealed that Jenna Dewan Tatum, Derek Hough, and Ne-Yo will also be a part of the project.
I assume Jennifer will reveal more as the premiere date becomes closer, but the fact that she got some seriously respected dancers on board should be a good sign that this show will actually be worth watching. Or at least I hope so.

JLo’s new show will be on NBC. There isn’t even a premiere date, but Jennifer revealed the all star cast in an Instagram post.
She put up a pic on Instagram with Derek, Ne-Yo, and Jenna with the caption, “#WORLDOFDANCE @neyo @derekhough and joining our lil family the lovely @jennaldewan. #comingsoon #NBC” So she didn’t share too much, but that’s still big news.

Jenna shared the same group shot on her own Instagram page with the caption, “A show by dancers FOR dancers…so excited to share with you guys! Let’s goooooooo! @jlo @neyo@derekhough @nbc #worldofdance.” Clearly she’s pumped for the project, but then again who wouldn’t be psyched to work with JLo?
In another photo with just JLo and Jenna, Jennifer wrote, “Meet our beautiful host… @jennadewan #WORLDOFDANCE #dancelife #comingsoon #NBC #1millionreasons to show up.” So I guess that means the guys are judges or coaches for the show? At least that makes sense to me.
