Love Island stars Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling are expanding their family! Iain is the voice of Love Island, serving as narrator for LI UK, Love Island USA, and Love Island Games. He is currently narrating Love Island All Stars. Meanwhile, Laura was the host of Love Island from Seasons 6-8. After she stepped down, Maya Jama took over.
Laura and Iain had already been dating for two years before she began hosting Love Island. They got married in November 2020, and Laura announced they were expecting their first child the following month. And in March 2021, the couple welcomed their daughter Stevie Rè. While Laura stepped down from Love Island, the couple continue to work together, co-hosting podcast Murder They wrote. Now, the lovebirds have an exciting new update!

Laura announced the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, February 18 with a maternity photo shoot. In the Instagram carousel, the presenter also included pictures showing how she managed to hide her growing baby bump in recent appearances. “Instagram V Reality,” the actress wrote, adding, “Spoiler: It wasn’t just a big meal mama ate. She’s been cooking away! I’d like to thank stretchy pants and travel sick bags.” In the comments, Iain wrote, “I love you.”
Iain also announced the news on his own Instagram. Sharing a picture of a baby-sized Hibernian Football Club jersey, the comedian wrote, “New Hibbie incoming … praying they don’t prefer rugby.”
Laura’s post was liked by famous former Love Island contestants including Chloe Burrows and Tasha Ghouri. In the comments, the expecting couple received congratulations from their UK celebrity friends, including Paloma Faith, Sophie Ellis Bextor, and Katie Piper. Congrats to the happy couple!
