Aside from Bannerman, Katseye also includes Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung. The girl band has been popular for their singles, “Touch” and “Gabriela.”
Manon Bannerman reportedly has no plans of returning to the group, says source
Katseye member Manon Bannerman has been on hiatus since February. A statement from her group mentioned that she would take a “temporary” break to “focus on her health and wellbeing.” However, a source recently told US Weekly that the singer might not be planning to return to the girl band.
Katseye has six members: Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung. Since their hitmaker “Gabriela” went viral, the girls have received global recognition. The group was even nominated for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Soon after that, Bannerman took a step back from group activities, calling it a “temporary hiatus.” A few days ago, she shared an update for Eyekons, her fans, on the social media platform Weverse.
“I’m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I’m happy and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me,” she wrote.
Before that, she had personally released a statement about her break. At that time, she mentioned that she was “trusting the bigger picture” and thanked fans for their support.
Katseye was formed through the 2023 reality competition show, “Dream Academy,” under the Hybe label and Geffen Records.
