Big Brother 21 Episode 16 Recap: Nick & Sam Have One Lifeline Opportunity

Nick Maccarone and Sam Smith are sitting on the Big Brother 21 block slated for eviction this week at the hands of the Six Shooters, in particular Head of Household (HOH) Holly Allen. Tonight, they will have the opportunity to battle it out for the golden Power of Veto (POV) and take themselves off the block. With Nick being the primary target for eviction this week, the house majority alliance hopes to stop any chance Nick has to save his Big Brother 21 game.

Six Shooter ally, Christie Murphy still holds the coveted diamond POV.  If she invokes those powers, the POV winner not only pulls someone off the block, but they also name the replacement nominee. Christie’s power vanishes after next week’s POV competition. With her alliance, the Six Shooters, at the helm again this week, the likelihood of Christie having to use her power is very slim.

Big Brother 21 Episode 15 Recap: New HOH & New Targets

Tonight, we will crown a new Head of Household (HOH) in the Big Brother 21 house as we see the conclusion of the endurance competition, Pose In Ivy. The HOH comp kicked off at the end of the last episode once Isabella Wang was shown the door and evicted from the Big Brother 21 house. Cliff Hogg III kept to his word in a deal made with Christie Murphy, which kept the Six Shooters in tact and Christie with her power.

Will the Six Shooters continue to control the Big Brother 21 house? Can an outsider snatch control and finally begin to take shots at the house majority alliance? Or will the Six Shooters win another HOH and predictably target Nick Maccarone or Sam Smith? Both have been targets since the break-up of Und9able/Gr8ful occurred a couple of weeks back.

Week Five Head of Household Competition

We pick up right where we left off last episode with the houseguests hanging from their vines for dear life. The vines kept moving forcing the houseguests to continually adjust their body weight appropriately. This comp looks brutal requiring lots of core strength and balance.

As a twist on the comp, there is a punishment to dish out to one or more of the houseguests. Each time one of them falls from their vines, they must pull a chip from the first aid box to see if they are safe or if they will receive the unnamed punishment.

To make matters worst, the remaining houseguests are doused with cold, wet, sticky, pink slime. A few have fallen after about 20 minutes, and Christie pulled the first poison ivy punishment chip. With 40 minutes lapsed, Tommy Bracco falls off his vines pulls the second poison ivy chip.

Big Brother 21 Spoilers Week 5 Power of Veto Competition Results (07/27/19)

Sam Smith and Nick Maccarone are one of Big Brother 21’s truest friendships, and it might be torn apart this week. Basically since week 2, Nick and Isabella Wang have been enemies of the house. Nick delayed the inevitable by winning the second week Head of Household. However Cliff Hogg III winning HOH and the threat of Christie Murphy’s Whacktivity power was enough to end the game of the Nella showmance. Bella left the house last week and now they want to finish what they started by getting Nick out.

Sam has been loyal to Nick and Bella since day one, and he proved his loyalty even more by not voting with the majority last week. Good for Sam as a friend, but bad for his game. He’s being labeled guilty by association. Now, the house has been debating who they want to send home this week. The Power of Veto ceremony could determine who leaves the game.

Head of Household Holly Allen stuck with the Six Shooters’ plan and nominated Sam and Nick this week. Jessica Milagros, Cliff, and Tommy Bracco were the players chosen to compete alongside Holly, Nick, and Sam. Now, it all comes down to the Veto, friend against friend, Six Shooters against non-Sis Shooters, so who will be victorious?

Big Brother 21 Spoilers: Week 5 Block Nominations (7/26/19)

The last five weeks in the Big Brother 21 house have been more than a little predictable, they’ve been completely predictable. The Gr8ful alliance have been in power four out of the last five weeks. The only week they weren’t in power, Christie Murphy‘s Whacktivity power ensured that they still ran the shots. This could be the week that the Six Shooters (since they got evicted fellow Gr8ful member Isabella Wang, basically ending Gr8ful and Und9able) becomes unstoppable.

They’ll have a solid six person alliance versus five outsiders, and they have won many of the HOH and Veto competition. Most of the outsiders want to be with the in-crowd and help the Six Shooters. It’s a Six Shooters world, and the other Big Brother 21 houseguests are just living in it. Most likely, the Six Shooters will remain strong this week with Holly Allen in power, but next week might be a different story.

Next week Big Brother week (after Thursday’s eviction), we’ll have the start of jury, which means we might get a little more ruthless gameplay. Also Christie is in a good position with everyone in the house. She has options. This might mean that she stops playing with the Six Shooters and forms something new with a couple players not in that alliance. There is also a budding tension between Jackson Matthews, Christie, and Kathryn Dunn, which might escalate into something exciting. For now, expect business as usual.

Holly will play it safe by nominating Sam Smith and Nick Maccarone for eviction. The only chance that one of these players stays this week is if Christie goes full rogue and tries to backdoor Jackson during Holly’s HOH. This could happen if Sam or Nick wins the Veto, and then Christie activates her power. Christie is an emotional player, but she seems to have enough gaming skills to know that she needs Jackson right now. However, things could change during the presumed double eviction, the upcoming one after Nick or Sam leaves. We’ll have to wait and see.

So did Holly play it safe by nominating Sam or Nick for eviction?

Who Went Home on Big Brother 21 Tonight? (7/25/19)

Finally, the other side of the Big Brother 21 house had a shot at the Six Shooters when Cliff Hogg III was the Head of Household (HOH) competition this week. He started his week in power off strong with nominating two of the more powerful alpha males in the Big Brother 21 house, Jack Matthew and Jackson Michie. Then, the shot at the power players all fell apart.

Just when you thought there would be a crack in the house majority alliance, Cliff made a deal with Christie Murphy that saved her Diamond Power of Veto (POV) for later use. The deal also put Isabella Wang on the block, who has been in the sites of the Six Shooters for a while now. Will Bella be able to convince enough houseguests outside of the Six Shooters to save her game? Either Jack or Bella will be sent packing tonight!
