Love Is Blind Star Carlton Morton Fought With Kenya Moore On Real Housewives Of Atlanta

If you’ve watched Love Is Blind, you will know that the most controversial couple by far was Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack. They had a strong connection and a sweet story. Their proposal was adorable and I truly think everyone was rooting for them. And then it all went wrong. Carlton slipped a ring on Diamond’s finger and they jetted off to Mexico for a very short-lived honeymoon of sorts.

It was there that Carlton revealed his bisexuality to a surprised Diamond. She asked for time to process and they didn’t sleep in the same room that night. While it looked promising the next day when they went pool-side to talk, things quickly spiraled out of control. Carlton threw the ring in the pool, called her a bitch and rightfully ended up getting a drink thrown in his face. If it wasn’t so sad and shocking, I would have been so excited about that drink throw. It’s always been a dream of mine but enough about me. Carlton seemed ill-equipped for the pressures of reality TV but it turns out that this isn’t his first foray into the scene.

People is reporting that Carlton was on an episode of one of my favorite Housewives franchises, Real Housewives of Atlanta. If there is something I love more than reality TV, it’s when those worlds collide. On the RHOA season premiere that aired in 2012, Carlton was Cynthia Bailey’s assistant. He helped her with a casting call for JET magazine’s “Beauty of the Week” event. When a new housewife on the scene named Kenya Moore showed up, she stirred up plenty of trouble from the get-go. She referred to one model as “coochie crack” and that set Carlton off.

“I just think there is a respectful way,” Carlton said. “For some of them, this is their first time modeling. I don’t think you should be like —.” Kenya interrupted, asking why he was talking to her. Carlton was unmoved, saying, “Who are you? Because I’ve never met you.” We all know this is that last thing you want to say to Kenya, since she was extra hopped up on her “fame” and Beyonce mistaken identity run ins.

The confrontation escalated quickly, with Kenya telling Carlton to “step off” then calling her security to have him removed. Some things never change! When her security tried to escort Carlton out of the building, Cynthia intervened and convinced them to let him stay.

Carlton then told security, “Tell your little b— that.” I remember this scene well because who could forget Kenya saying “coochie crack” over and over again? But what makes me extra excited about all this is that Carlton, a celeb in his own right now, was standing up to Kenya all the way back then.

NeNe Leakes Blames Wendy Williams’ Ex-Husband For Sabotaging Her Shot At A Daytime Talk Show

NeNe Leakes seems to be beefing with everyone these days. She hasn’t had the best showing on this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. She’s had it out with Kenya Moore, isn’t on speaking terms with Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey. As if that wasn’t enough, things have gone very south with her relationship with Eva Marcille since filming. It looks like the only people she is getting along with are Kandi Burruss and her ever-faithful friend, Marlo Hampton. How Marlo still doesn’t have a peach is beyond me but that is for another time and place.

The only other friend NeNe seemingly has in this whole mess of a season is none other than daytime gossip queen, Wendy Williams. In a recent episode of RHOA, we even saw Wendy counseling NeNe by phone as to how she should handle the women by showing them love and light or some crap like that. Sorry if I sound a bit skeptical but let’s face it, we are talking about NeNe here.

Which is what makes this next story so awkward. NeNe recently made an appearance on The Breakfast Club, where she talked about losing out on her chance at her own daytime talk show. As reported by The Grio, NeNe blames Wendy’s ex-husband Kevin Hunter for thwarting her opportunity.

When asked if she thinks Wendy and Kevin had anything to do with it, NeNe says, “I do think so,” before adding, “I think it was her husband, yea – he was never nice to me.”

At the time of this happening, NeNe was a big star in her own right. She left RHOA for parts on Glee and The New Normal. NeNe surmised, “Well, you know things happened – timing is everything,” she said. “Maybe it wasn’t my time. Sometimes people are intimidated, ya know.”

NeNe continued, “They think you gonna come up and do a little more than they do, I’m not sure, but I know that it was scrapped, that’s true.” NeNe chalked the whole thing up to the nature of show business. She explained, “At that time in my life, it showed me how the industry is, it’s a dirty world.”

When pressed by The Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God about Wendy costing her money, NeNe maintains that she believes it was really Wendy’s ex behind all this. “I’m sure he was the one that went to get it stopped,” she said, admitting that her theory is that he thought she posed a threat to their business.“They made the right choice in my eyes. I would have done the same thing.”

At least this is one less fight NeNe has to manage.

Love Is Blind’s Lauren Speed And Cameron Hamilton Want Their Own Spin-Off

Few reality TV couples have captured my heart like Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton from the hit Love Is Blind. They both knew from the jump that their relationship was special and so did the viewers. We didn’t even have to see them contemplating if they had connections with anyone else, that’s how strong their bond was. They were the first (that we saw) of the couples to get engaged and they really did seem to have the strongest bond there.

It was hard to not feel invested in their love story, even if it was a tad predictable. The only real hurdles they faced were Lauren introducing her father to Cameron, which she had never done in her previous relationships. As if that wasn’t enough, Lauren had never dated a white man either so she wasn’t exactly sure how her father would react. But he was stern and kind, with some sweet words to assure Cameron that he was being welcomed into the family with open arms. We all know that things only went up from there, despite Lauren holding out on telling Cameron if she would say “I do” or not. She obviously did and here we are.

Given how adorable their story was/is, it’s no surprise that fans might want more. And they just might get it! Lauren and Cameron spilled to Entertainment Tonight about what’s possibly next for them. Lauren dished, “We’re hoping so. Spinoff gods, if you’re listening, let’s make it happen. We would love to continue sharing our story with everybody. I feel like all the juicy stuff is just now happening. Like, this is the good stuff!”

Cameron adds, “We just love working together and spending time together and going on these little adventures. So, we hope so. Let’s see what happens.”

The couple, who has been married since November of 2018 is also looking ahead in other ways, specifically when it comes to family. About the possibility of having kids, Lauren says, “Maybe by this time next year. Little Valentine’s babies.”

Until then, Lauren talked Cameron into getting a puppy they named Sparks. “I never would have expected that I’d be this happy. It’s been a wonderful adventure. Every day is something new.”

Cameron is clearly smitten. He remarked, “I mean, my paternal instinct is kicking in pretty hardcore. We are really excited.” I’m here for it!

Ok, I will admit it – I am obsessed with Love Is Blind. While I could have done without all the recapping/flashbacks in the wedding episode (hello, Netflix, this is a binge show and I just watched all that today), the end really kept me on the edge of my seat. It didn’t disappoint. I think it was safe to assume some of the couples, ahem, Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas, weren’t going to leave with a happy ending, but some of them really threw me for a loop.

One couple that surprised fans was Kenny Barnes and Kelly Chase. They seemed into each other. Sure, Kelly did mention some lack of sexual excitement but she seemed full steam ahead for the majority of the show. It wasn’t until the finale that I realized something was amiss. Her whole demeanor changed and she seemed less than excited about what was going to happen. While getting ready for her “wedding”, she seemed uncomfortable and anxious. I knew it was over when she put zero effort into her makeup. That was a huge tell that this was not going to be her true wedding day as no bride would walk down the aisle like that. Just saying. But when Kelly said “I don’t”, it sunk in that this just wasn’t there time to get married. Still, there seemed to be a lot of love there and that doesn’t just go away.

For that reason, I kind of assumed that they might continue their connection after the show. According to People, the couple later said they were adamant about not getting married on the show but they weren’t on the same page about what would happen next. Kelly said, “I thought that we were going to continue dating, because that was communicated between us. And then it was our last filming day, and he had a conversation with me like, ‘Hey, I think I am not emotionally available right now. I need to take some time apart from you.’ I felt very rejected, like, ‘That wasn’t the plan. What the heck?’”

She continued, holding back tears, “A week or two later, we hadn’t talked. I’d just talked to him for six and a half weeks straight, and then I didn’t talk to him. So it was like I lost someone. It was hard.”

From Kenny’s side, taking a break from the relationship was about his own feelings and not just about her. “I just needed to focus on myself,” he explains. “We’d been so adamant about we’re not getting married, we’re really not engaged. We’ll pursue, dating afterwards, but to be candid, it was in that moment, because of the stress that it caused my friends, my family, also hers, it was like, I was just being cognizant of this is all real, these emotions are real. What we went through was a real experience. But life is way more complex than this. And I need to get my framework right.”

A few weeks after they finished shooting and didn’t talk, Kelly decided to reach out to Kenny.“I actually wrote him a handwritten letter, not like saying like, ‘I’m in love with you,’ not crazy, but just like, ‘I really enjoyed getting to know you, and I do love you and I want to continue loving getting to know you even more,’” Kelly admits. “I never got a response from it, which maybe just freaked him out, but I was just releasing a lot of emotions.”

Kenny still hasn’t responded. “Looking back, I think it’s reflective of how I had been and how I have evolved since then,” Kelly says. “I don’t like being rejected, for one. It’s happened, but also it’s me trying to have control of the situation, and I lost control. He let go, and I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ And so it was me trying to, with writing the letter, I wanted to make it happen, and I just needed to take a step back. And I did.”

A few months later, Kelly tried again. “I don’t remember what I said verbatim, but I just apologized,” she explains. Kelly recalled, “I was like, ‘Maybe that was too much, that letter. I was just expressing how I felt in that time.’ I said, ‘But it’s water under the bridge at this point.’ And that was it. I didn’t bring it up again.”

Kelly concluded, “I felt like I lost someone. That’s why I’m emotional now. And that’s probably why I got emotional watching the show back myself. All these feelings started coming up again for me. … Maybe had I not written that letter and maybe had I just let him go and reset, who knows what would’ve happened? Maybe he would have been like, ‘You know what? I actually do miss you. And I’m going to come back.’ I don’t know. But it doesn’t matter.”

Poor Kelly! This is not the way I wanted things to end up for them, but it sounds like she didn’t either.

Last season of Vanderpump Rules was everyone vs. James Kennedy. And, now, this season is shaping up to be everyone vs. Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. With a little everyone vs. Kristen Doute thrown in for good measure.

Recently, Tom Sandoval called out Lala Kent for not being the “safe place” that she claimed to be while Ariana vocalized her struggles with depression. He expressed that he was upset with Lala for saying “mean nasty things” about his girlfriend.

After seeing those remarks from Tom, Lala clapped back in a very emotional Instagram Live, which has already disappeared. But, don’t worry, we got you. Lala was crying and pouring her heart out in response to the comments. Of course, this could be a case of he said, she said. We only get to see a tiny bit of these people’s lives when we watch TV, but anyway, let’s see what Lala had to say.

She began, “To see all these people being like ‘Ariana had your back.’ Like, no the fuck she did not. Wake up. And even though me, and Stassi [Schroeder], and Katie [Maloney] didn’t get along, those bitches have been so supportive since we’ve become friends. Through the worst times and the fucking best times, they’ve been supportive. That’s what I look for in a friendship.”

Lala continued, “I don’t want to be struggling, drowning, for you to like wake the fuck up to see if I’m good. So, there’s my spill on Tom and Ariana. I am a fucking safe place. I’m a good ass friend.”

Lala claimed, “The whole cast is fucking medicated for depression and anxiety. And we’ve all spoken about it. And we all sit here and offer like a hand, a heart, an ear to listen to, and [Tom Sandoval] want[s] to say we’re not a ‘safe place.’ But, you’re the one when my dad died, telling me to ‘toughen the fuck up.’ I think you’re feeling unsafe in your own skin and you’re projecting it onto me. I’ll be damned if someone doesn’t feel safe around me.”

The Season 8 reunion is gonna be fire. That’s for sure.

Lala concluded, “To read it, Tom Sandoval, ‘It just really hurt me you know, to see her talking bad.’ How about this? Toughen the fuck up. I’m leavin it at that, y’all.”

Now, I’m just wondering if Lala is going to disinvite Tom and Ariana from her and Randall Emmett’s wedding next month.

Southern Charm’s Kathryn Dennis Says She Hasn’t Been High In Four Years

Kathryn Dennis has been through a lot. Her first season on Southern Charm made her out to be a boy crazy villain who couldn’t get along with anyone on the show but then-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel. She fought with anyone who would dare to come between them or really, even talk about them. It seemed like she was the one constantly thriving in the fighting and the dysfunction of her relationship. Then she got unexpectedly pregnant (twice). She went to rehab and lost custody of her kids. When she came back to Charleston and the show, she was a social pariah to all but castmate Craig Conover (and who doesn’t love Craig?). Things were not looking good for Kathryn and many fans wondered why she was even on the show.

Since then, Kathryn has bounced back and had a very strong redemption story. She stopped being in denial about how Thomas was actually a good person and came clean about what a crappy partner he was. She worked hard to make friends again and gain back time with her kids. When Thomas’ new girlfriend Ashley Jacobs (who let’s face it, made Kathryn look like a saint) came for her about her role as a mother, the cast rallied around Kathryn hard. And it made sense. Gone was the over-dramatic brat who couldn’t get out of her way and out came the young woman who was more insightful and focused on making her life better. Sure, she had some blips of bad judgment, but she was able to steer clear of the relationships, drugs, and alcohol that had gotten her into so much trouble.

This is why Kathryn has to be particularly defensive about people questioning her sobriety. In a recent series of Instagram stories (which have since expired after the 24 hour time window), Kathryn was seen pushing around a shopping cart through the book and home decor section, having fun. A fan messaged her in response to the story asking, “Are you high?”. As reported by People, Kathryn quickly clapped back, posting a screenshot of the interaction and responding, “No. And that’s rude af. I haven’t been high in 4 years. Am I not allowed to have a sense of humor without you people thinking I’m high?!”

“This has been one of my biggest peeves since Rehab. Feeling like I can’t be silly without people saying stuff like this,” she wrote on the picture, and added at the bottom “let me liveeee.” This is something that has obviously and maybe understandably dogged Kathryn since rehab.

She told Andy Cohen during the Southern Charm reunion special, “I don’t smoke weed. I don’t do anything illegal like that.” She did admit that she drinks saying, “It’s not like I’m drinking, though, going out and partying by any means.”

I’m sure it’s hard for Kathryn to be under constant scrutiny about her sobriety, especially since she’s in such a good place as of late. That good place also includes her kids, which she has agreed to share joint legal and physical custody with Thomas.

Despite recent rumors that they are getting back together, Kathryn has denied them and maintained that they are on good terms for the kids. Glad to see she finally looks like she’s on the right path.

Am I the only one who has binged Netflix’s Love Is Blind – twice? Well, I did, and I’m not sorry for it. This show is a reality television masterpiece. It has everything fans of romantic reality shows love – proposals out of nowhere, hot tubs and rose petals, epic fights featuring Beyonce lyrics, and Jessica Batten (google her). It’s so great to watch a first season of a reality show. The kinks haven’t been worked out yet, and it doesn’t have a reputation, which makes it more authentic. Part of the fun of watching this show was the extreme social experiment of getting engaged to someone you’ve never seen. But what was more fun was how messy it got. Literally.

Giannina Gibelli was a standout personality. She proposed to Damian Powers in the pods, and then continually self-sabotaged throughout the “experiment.” On the day of their wedding, Giannina was denied by Damian at the alter and she quickly became the runaway bride who fell in mud. Then in the next scene, we see her dramatically confront Damian, and her dress is whiter than white. People on Twitter were quick to call out shoddy editing.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Giannina avidly denies that her wedding scenes were shown out of sequence. She said, “You don’t want to look dirty. No one wants to look dirty!” Okay, sure.

Giannina emphasized, “after I took that little tumble, I got back up, dusted myself off and cleaned [the wedding dress]. Because if I’m going to confront this man that I’m angry [with], I want to feel my best. So, I scrubbed it in the bathroom.”

This is a little hard to believe considering how dirty her white dress was. The mud stain was sizeable, so I’m not sure I’m buying that she was able to completely remove the stain so that her dress looked like it had never been damaged.

Giannina understands that this sounds crazy, and told Entertainment Tonight, “My mom was like, ‘What are you doing? Stop that. Get out of that dress!’ I was like, ‘No, Mom. I need to clean it…I wanted to literally just clean and kind of restart.”

Even though the couple didn’t get married, they are still dating. Damian was present for the Entertainment Tonight interview and confirmed her story. “She’s not kidding. That’s how she is,” he said. I’m not sure how that’s possible but also not sure why they wouldn’t chalk it up to bad editing. What I am sure of is that I’ll be watching Season 2 of Love Is Blind.

Is anyone out there NOT obsessed with Love Is Blind? I have to admit, I was a little late to the party, not really being up for yet another reality dating show. They are starting to all feel the same and I just can’t get into the actual love connections. But when I finally did watch, I was immediately sucked in and fully invested. The premise of the show pretty unique. Yes, I know it’s been compared to Married At First Sight but it IS different so don’t at me! I also found each of the love matches hard to stop watching.

One couple that was especially interesting to follow was Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas. After being rebuffed by her top choice Matt Barnett (better known by his last name Barnett), Jessica went rushing into the arms….erm, pod, of her second choice Mark. He was ten years her junior but boy was he head over heels for her. Coming off a rejection, it wasn’t hard to see that she was reaching in this relationship and truthfully, it was the train wreck I couldn’t look away from. Plus, what reality show doesn’t feature a storyline that we all know is going south?

Even though Mark seemed all in, there has now been speculation brewing that he had a girlfriend while the show was being filmed. People reports that on a recent podcast, Mark came out defending himself and categorically denying that he wasn’t anything but single during the show.

He said, “I did not have a girlfriend the whole time. I was single before [going on the show]. Now, being a single man, you’re single, you’re doing your thing. I’d never had a girlfriend before.” He added, “Where was the time to be in a relationship during the experience?”

Mark believes that all this confusion about his relationship status is the result in the nearly two-year gap between when the show was filmed and when it was aired. “I never had a girlfriend during — I had a girlfriend after the experience. I will say that,” he said. “This is way after the experience, a couple months. I was still figuring out what the hell happened, and then I jumped into a relationship, you do that.”

Mark is currently single, noting that he did have a girlfriend before the show came out. He said of the now-over relationship, “No hard feelings, it just didn’t work out.” While Mark also didn’t end up walking away with love interest Jessica on the show, he maintains that there are no hard feelings, “Anybody you date, they teach you so much,” he said. “I’m thankful for Jess, I’m thankful for all of my past relationships. I just take that in stride.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey was crazy this season, and I loved every minute of it! Of course, viewers had to wait until the season finale to see Teresa Giudice bring her four daughters to Italy to reunite with their father, Joe Giudice. Viewers had the pleasure of listening to Joe when he called from ICE detention to talk with his family. Most of the time he was insulting to Teresa.

In October, Joe opted to leave ICE custody and go to Italy to await the final decision in his deportation case. Another seismic shift in their marriage occurred when Teresa finally admitted to her RHONJ co-stars that her husband cheated on her when their daughter, Gia Giudice, was very young. Teresa found a second cell phone that Joe used to talk with this other woman. At that time, Teresa believed her husband.

Since his arrival in Italy, it looks like Joe has been posting on Instagram and drinking wine. The RHONJ family reunion footage was wonderful to see as Joe reunited with his daughters. Seeing the big family dinner that Joe’s relatives put on for his family was fun.

And as for Teresa? She acted like Joe was coated in sprinkle cookies. Joe was surprised that he wasn’t going to be sharing a bed with his wife. Awkward! It was obvious that Teresa is over this marriage. The couple finally made the decision to split but decided to keep it from their daughters.

In January, Teresa posted on Instagram that she was having her “bubbies” re-done. Teresa had her first augmentation during Season 1, with encouragement from RHONJ co-star, and bestie, Dina Manzo.

“I believe it’s important to always stand strong and feel like your best most confident self. 10 Years after my first Breast Augmentation I decided to have my breasts re-done. I am so thankful for Dr. Preminger @premingermd. She was amazing, and so professional. I absolutely loved her and could not be happier with the results,” Teresa wrote. “I was very nervous to re-do my breasts, but I felt it was necessary for me to feel like my best self.”

Teresa posted a photo of herself on Instagram, ready for the reunion, in a low-cut gown and in full glam mode. Teresa looked good, and let’s just say, someone took notice. And I really, really wish that he hadn’t.

That’s right, Joe commented, “Nice new boobs” with a thumb’s up emoji. Oh Joe–you are a sweet-talker! Seeing this photo is probably the closest you will ever get to seeing Teresa’s “bubbies’ again. According to Page Six, Joe also added heart-eyes emojis and fire emojis on other photos that Teresa posted. Why is Joe doing this? Hasn’t he accepted the fact that Teresa is done with their marriage? He certainly hasn’t accepted any responsibility for what he has put his family through. Maybe Teresa should block Joe on social media to stop his crude comments.
