Even though Kyle Richards is a cast member in a reality TV franchise called Real Housewives, she is oddly in the minority since a lot of the stars in the franchise aren’t even wives. Kyle and Mauricio Umansky seem to have a very solid relationship and they’re not even annoying about it…. minus the constant plugs for The Agency that I could do without.
Kyle recently opened up about the very beginning of her relationship with her husband Mauricio, why she would never do Dancing With the Stars, and how she said no a million times to doing Celebrity Apprentice, but ended up caving to join the cast anyway.

Kyle had a lot to say during a recent interview on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast. She revealed that when she first met Mauricio he actually thought she was a part of a different famous family. Kyle recalled, “He thought that I was Demi Moore‘s sister because he had seen me at the gym and someone had said, ‘That’s Demi Moore’s sister.’ It was just one of those rumors and he believed it.” I totally see that. Well, maybe just the hair, but I get that.
Kyle is one of two original cast members who has stuck around on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills so obviously she knows what she’s doing when it comes to reality TV and I get why she would be asked to join other shows. Unlike some of her fellow Housewives, Kyle is so not down to join Dancing With the Stars.
Kyle said, “Honestly, no. I think it’s great when other people do it, but it’s not for me. I feel really overloaded right now,” and then she talked about that scripted show based on her family growing up…again.

Kyle continued, “The whole dancing thing, I really admire anyone who does it. First of all, I can dance great at a party or at a club after a few drinks, but doing it with someone and having to follow moves, I’m very ADD and I would be very stressed and overwhelmed thinking I would have to do this live and on camera with people watching. The hours and taking that away from your family, I could not do it.”
Heather asked Kyle is she saw the last episode where Erika Jayne danced to song with her partner dressed as a Los Angeles police officer. Sure, the dance was great, but the theme just was very odd since the dance was super sexual and Erika’s son is a police officer. Not only that, but she just had that “You don’t know what I go through every night” freak out about her son, so it just seemed like odd timing – which Heather pointed out.
Nevertheless, Kyle, wasn’t going to be baited to shade Erika. “I missed last night’s, but I had it recorded. I’m gonna watch.”

After Heather continued talking about the odd timing of the cop theme, Kyle just said, “I have not seen it and I did not hear any of that. I would imagine that she probably wasn’t think of that and that she was probably just thinking of it as a dance.” Kyle wasn’t falling for the bait. She is the only person who’s on good terms with everyone in her cast, so she wasn’t gonna mess that up by shading Erika in a podcast. Props to her.
Even though Kyle maintains that she would never do Dancing With the Stars, she did agree to do Celebrity Apprentice. She confessed, “I was terrified with Celebrity Apprentice. When they asked me to do it, I first said no – I don’t even know how many times. I met with the producers and they said, ‘We will let you sleep at home. You don’t even have to sleep at the hotel.'”
Kyle continued, “I was still scared of the hours and everything because I have to make my kids breakfast and their snacks. I don’t have someone doing that for me, so I was like, ‘How am I going to do this?’ I ended up doing it, but I don’t know.” It’s nice to know she is actually involved with her children’s daily lives – unlike some other women in the cast.

Including the biggest decision of all: drama over the guest list. “Only close friends and family,”declares Jenelle. Does that include her mother Barbara Evans? Jenelle keeps threatening no! “We have not decided if she will be invited or not,” she explains. “Our relationship is getting more damaged every day, but I have already told her this.”
Onto more positive matters, Jenelle is soon headed to NYC to try on wedding gowns. Because they don’t sell those there thingies in North Caroliiiiina, and she’s like a big-time celebriteeee and all. In preparation Jenelle is also working hard to lose the baby weight. “[I] plan to be as fit and healthy as I can!”
Jenelle pretends to be undecided about whether or not we’ll get to witness this travesty special moment on Teen Mom 2. She tells E! if she and David make it to the altar the show happens to be filming at the time of the wedding, they will let it be filmed.

The Originals is facing a whole new kind of threat this season, and it's particularly bad news for Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), since it appears to be a blue light that steals children....Although I ended up crying for most of the Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney wedding episode of Vanderpump Rules, I never expected to feel that way. This season was full of drunken fighting and it was hard for me (and a lot of the other viewers) to get on board and feel invested in this couple.
A LOT of people hated on Katie throughout the season – she even had her Twitter account on private for a while – but after that finale, a lot more people from the fandom were down with the Schwartz marriage. Unfortunately for them, the reunion was taped way before that finale aired, so I bet that they had a ton of tough questions to answer from the viewers.

One thing that baffled me throughout the season was the wedding budget. From the wedding invitations that were printed on towels to the designer dress to the flowers, I was in shock that their wedding cost as much as it did. Yes, I know that they do make money from being reality stars and that Katie is more than a SUR waitress, but still. During Bravo’s Daily Dish podcast, Schwartz admitted he was “not aware of the price” in regard to Katie’s $15,000 wedding dress.
Katie admitted, “I just billed him later,” which plays into my personal theory that Schwartz is low key wealthy outside of the show and that’s why he asked for a prenup, but that would be a total digression from this post. Anyway, Schwartz declared, “It was priceless. You can’t put a price on that day, but still the budget got a little bloated there. It’s okay though.”
Even though Katie got a lot of shit for the wedding planning throughout the season, she was a way calmer bride than Scheana Marie Shay when it came to the wedding day itself. Katie was asked about this and she actually did not take the bait to shade Scheana. All she said was, “I know Scheana planed and planned for a long time, so it’s not like she wasn’t prepared. I know that I just wanted every detail to be taken care of so by the time that day came there was just nothing to worry about.” I figured that would be a perfect time to take a dig at Scheana who seems to be against Katie’s trio of friends these days on social media, but Katie did not fall for that at all.
Later in the podcast, Schwartz discussed Jax Taylor’s claims that his brothers all shared one cell phone. Schwartz admitted, “They’re not social media savvy. They don’t have Twitter or Instagram, but I relay the information.” He clarified, “They all have their own cell phones. They’re not dinosaurs.”
Schwartz added, “I was mad at him for that because they’re such great kids. I mean, they need a little tough love, but Jax was really hard on them. He did a great thing for them and I really appreciate it.” No matter what Jax says or does, it is hard for anyone in this cast to stay mad at him. I have no idea how he pulls this off, but it amazes me.
Even though Tom and Katie’s wedding was the finale episode, there is still more for the fans to enjoy this season. Yes, I’m talking about the reunion show. Katie explained, “Because I endured so much of it, by the time the reunion came around, I knew I could handle anything. It was the time to speak the final words and sort of put the period at the end of it and put it to bed.”
Katie admitted, “I got pretty much slaughtered for the last year. All summer was just tough. Social media this whole season has not be fun.” Schwartz added, “She got compared to Hitler a few times,” and Katie shared, “I have been told to kill myself.”
Back to the reunion, Katie explained, “It feels like a release. That time to just let it go. It wasn’t fun the entire time, but I really had to swallow my pride and truthfully own some of my actions. I can’t defend everything. It was my time to address all those things and I think I did.” Let’s hope so. If anyone could use a redemption story this year, it’s Katie Maloney. This season was far from a good look for her.
Schwartz told her, “You were good. You were self-aware and you were humble and a little self-deprecating … It was a harsh season, but I think you learned a lot.” Once again I have to say: let’s hope so. It would be great for next season to be one where the audience roots for Katie like we did at the beginning of the show.

I could never imagine being a dancer or mother on Dance Moms. Aside from not being able to dance and not having a kid, it seems like dealing with Abby Lee Miller would be a lot for any human being to handle.
As a viewer, I live for it every time Abby has a meltdown on screen, but I can see why the actual cast members would be happier now that Cheryl Burke is taking over. It seems like a logical fit since Cheryl is a skilled dancer/dance teacher who has reality TV experience from Dancing With the Stars. I’m curious about how entertaining the show will be since it’s obviously going to be way easier to get along with Cheryl in comparison to Abby.

Cheryl talked to Entertainment Tonight during her first day of filming. She said, “I’m teaching very, very talented kids and very passionate mothers. It’s kind of a full circle [moment] because I was that kid and I had that type of mom that was very passionate about my career and very supportive.”
She added, “I love working with talented kids, so I’m very excited.”
I didn’t expect Cheryl to say anything but great things just because she is known to be a nice lady, but it was also the first day, so I doubt she ran into any drama at that point.

Abby also talked to Entertainment Tonight about Cheryl replacing her on the show.
Surprisingly, she said, “I think that’s great.” She also revealed, “I only met her once at a housewarming party a couple weeks ago. I’m glad that someone who has worked on a network show for as long as she has on Dancing With the Stars is going to see what I’ve been working with for seven years.”
Weirdly enough, Abby also said, “I don’t think she’s replacing me, I think it’s going to be a different vibe.” Yes, I’m sure that it is going to be a very different vibe, but also Cheryl technically is replacing Abby, so I have no idea what Abby is talking about, but then again, I rarely do.

I waited for months to see what Erika Girardi was mad about when she declared “you don’t know what I go through every night” and it ended up being both anticlimactic and disappointing. When it finally happened and it was directed at Eileen Davidson, I was thrown off. Of all people in this cast, Eileen is the one who worships Erika and her Erika Jayne alter ego. It made no sense to me.
Obviously, this was a case of misdirecting anger, but still, Erika admitted that she’s happy that her breakdown was aimed at Eileen instead of another cast member. That seems like a weird sentiment to have after flipping out on your most loyal follower, but if you are going to mess up, it might as well be with the person who supports you most. They did recover from that meltdown quickly, so I get it.

If I was a betting woman, I would have put down money that Erika’s rant was aimed at Dorit Kemsley. I still cannot believe Eileen is the one she ended up snapping at.
In an interview with E! News, Erika admitted, “It’s great that it’s Eileen that I exploded on, quite honestly, because the others would’ve held it over my head and used it. Seriously.” Honestly, I’m a little surprised that Eileen didn’t drag that out for a story line. She brought up Lisa Vanderpump’s “affair” comment for two seasons.
But anyway, Erika shared, “Fortunately for me, we have that kind of friendship where she said, ‘Listen, I understand it was not directed towards me. You were frustrated.’ And I took it out on her.”

Even though Erika knows things would have gone worse if she yelled at any other cast member, she did admit, “When it happened, I was very disappointed, not only in myself because I snapped at Eileen, who’s been nothing but a good friend, and it was very hard for me to watch all of that back. It’s kind of opening up old wounds. I am human, what can I say? And I was pushed to a point where, unfortunately, I exploded.”
I completely understand that Erika had to let her emotions out eventually, but she completely skewed Eileen‘s words. I felt vicariously embarrassed while watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week, so I can only imagine how awkward Erika felt.
Erika continued, “I would never hurt Eileen Davidson. I did the wrong thing and I’ve taken accountability for it and I’ve apologized a million times.”

Everyone makes mistakes. Most of just don’t do so on a popular reality TV show. Still, I feel like I was very misled by every single trailer for this season with that infamous “you don’t know what I go through every night” line. I wanted it to be in the middle of an actual fight, but unfortunately (for me…and Eileen) it was just some misdirected anger.
Obviously Erika’s major issues this year are with Dorit and her overly involved husband PK Kemsley. I wish she has exploded on him – there’s the finale and some reunion episodes left, so maybe there’s still a chance that will happen.
In regard to the troublesome twosome, Erika said, “They’ve made it very clear this year that I was their favorite thing to talk about. You have to take people’s opinions of you and consider the source. They don’t know me.” I have no idea if they are instructed to discuss Erika and it just gets a lot of air time or if they really do just talk about her all the time, but they pretty much have no story line other than shitting on Erika when they barely know her.

The season basically ended with Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s wedding that took place in August, but they threw in some stuff about the demise of the Shay marriage at the end since it happened in between the wedding and the premiere date for season five. To the viewers, the writing was on the wall since Shay basically left Scheana by herself for the entire season, but Scheana did not recognize that the marriage was really over until one key moment.

In an interview with E! News, Scheana stated the sad but obvious truth, “There were a lot of things from the beginning of our marriage that kind of tainted the whole relationship.”
Aside from Shay’s pill popping and alcohol issues that the fans saw play out on the show, Scheana revealed, “Right before our one-year anniversary, I saw some inappropriate text messages.” I can’t really see why anyone would want to be Shay’s side piece, but apparently someone was interested.
Scheana admitted, “My mom and other people around me had noticed a change in his behavior. I was either oblivious to it or I just didn’t want to believe what I was seeing right in front of my face.”

Scheana added, “All of these things are plain as day and I just didn’t see it.”
So what finally made her see the light? Scheana recalled, “Towards the end of October, he just didn’t come home one day.” We all knew this, but Scheana was also dealing with a death in the family at that time. Scheana continued, “During those two weeks I found out he was buying pills again. That’s when I was like, ‘I’m going to give him one more chance to tell me the truth.'” And obviously he did not do that.
Scheana said, “I looked him in the eyes and he lied to me. That’s when I was like, ‘Now I don’t have another choice. I know I fully cannot trust you ever again.'” And of course, she concluded, “A divorce was the only thing we could do.”

Even though she (somehow) gets away with never addressing her financial situation on the show, Sheree is in (even more) trouble these days when it comes to financing her home – that she may or may not actually live in. She is “reportedly” facing $350,000 in tax liens.

According to an article from Starcasm, Sheree owes money to NUMEROUS CONTRACTORS in addition to federal tax liens. An attorney for one of the contractors did an interview with the AJC‘s Randy Ho last week and said that they’re considering joining forces to come after Sheree as a “united front.”
After many attempts to get Sheree to pay the amounts that she has agreed to, it seems like the contractors have no choice.

Apparently Kenya’s claims about Sheree‘s mother being the actual owner of the house have some merit since one of the attorneys said it is tough to get the wages paid “since the home is not under her name.” Can we please start calling it Chateau Thelma? I’ll never not laugh at that nickname Kenya came up with, especially since it seems to be true.
This is just such a mess at this point. Why does Sheree need this mansion? It’s not like she has young kids or grand kids running around the house. She needs to cut her losses, sell the property, pay off her contractors, move into a condo, and start up drama between the other cast members to distract viewers.

It's time to return to Potomac. Season two of The Real Housewives of Potomac is finally here, nearly a full year since Bravo's most etiquette-obsessed ladies signed off from their...Never say never, right? You know how sometimes, late at night, celebrities like to get on social media and rant? Maybe they’ve had a few cocktails. Maybe it was just a long day. Usually these things get deleted before sunrise, but sometimes you wake up and realize you quit your job in an all caps Instagram post! Such is the case with Abby Lee Miller who bid an Internet farewell to the network who made her a star over seven seasons of its hit show Dance Moms.
Alleging manipulation and a lack of artistic integrity, Abby gave the boot to the production team who she claims reveled in her mistreatment. However, amid rumblings that the show will go on without her (with former Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke at the helm), Abby is back tracking…just a little.

In an interview with People, Abby reveals, “This was a long time coming for me, Nobody knew. I was just so irate,” adding, “There was a lot that went on. I don’t think that [the production company] has ever been able to differentiate between my livelihood, which they think is a TV show, and my livelihood as a dance teacher with a dance studio. To me, I never know when the show’s going to end. I know my dance studio is not going to end until I say it ends.”
Abby claims the last straw happened when producers manufactured fake drama with unpaid audience members at a competition. Wait, isn’t that what the show has always been about?
She recalls, “I had about 50 kids and their families at the competition that are not on a TV show and don’t get paid. They were paying to be there! They’re all there and the producer has this psycho crazy woman – who I’ve never seen, never talked to, never met her – stalking me through the audience stating things like, ‘All your team left you. They want nothing to do with you.’ In front of 50 families from my studio. He can’t understand why that would anger me! It is absolutely nuts. That was the last straw for me.”

Of course, when asked whether she’d return to the show, Abby responds, “Never say never,” but admits that the network hasn’t reached out to her since her rant. She continues, “It just sickens me when people get creative credit with our ideas. A lot of things would have to change. Just the way they pull things out of their butts the last minute and it makes the costuming exhausting. They want me to come to meetings, pre-production, but on my own dime.”
Not surprisingly, Abby will miss being in the spotlight. She explains, “There are certain aspects of the creativity, working in the studio creating and developing a dancer – I’m going to miss that. I love teaching children. I love teaching dance, but I’ve been doing this for 35 years and yet I don’t get the trust or respect that I deserve. I don’t think anybody on my team did.”
Am I missing something? She can still teach dance and work with kids and create in her studio without a television show…that is if she doesn’t go to jail!

Briana Rennee’s husband Matt Ericson might as well be a cast member on Little Women: LA. Almost every story line comes back to his shady behavior in one way or another. The entire cast has oscillated back and forth from pushing for a breakup to trying to support the relationship. At this point, Terra Jole is so over this situation and she is just pretty much done with Briana in general.
Unlike a lot of reality shows, most of the cast members on Little Women: LA have known each other for a long time. Not only that, but a lot of them have competed for jobs in the entertainment industry. With that said, there is a lot of tension among the cast and Terra has no issue sharing her side of the story – as per usual.

Terra shared her thoughts on the last Little Women: LA episode in her blog for People and she made it clear that we will not see best friendship between her and Briana this season.
Terra wrote, “So first thing’s first, Briana is going through her own self-destruction.” I can’t help agreeing with that one. Briana acknowledges that she has trouble trusting Matt, yet she adamantly sticks by his side. The ups and downs are constant. It’s exhausting to watch – I can’t even imagine living that life.
Terra said what most of us were thinking: “Matt can’t fix his past, but you at least have to be honest with what the real solution is. Stop blaming yourself when your anger isn’t inside of you, it’s in front of you!”
Honestly though. It’s commendable that Briana looks for the best in her own husband. No one questions her effort. She did everything she could to make this marriage work, but is there anything else she can do at this point?

Terra bluntly wrote, “Bye Briana.” Heartwarming stuff.
But of course, Terra has difficulty finding sympathy for Briana in her troubled marriage after Briana encroached on her professional success by going to “support” Terra on Dancing With the Stars and using that time to schmooze Terra’s manager looking for representation. The thirst it too real. What happened to women supporting each other?
Terra declared, “In all seriousness, though, this is the start of discovering Briana has two faces. One face is ‘Begs for sympathy’ and the other face is ‘Get ahead at any cost.'”
She also warned, “Basically our friendship is dancing on the rim of a toilet before getting flushed. I don’t handle it well in episodes to come. I’m not perfect, but I’m honest.” I hate admitting this, but I cannot wait to watch and see how this all goes down.

A lot of people hate on Kenya Moore and I totally get it. She’s caused a lot of controversy on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but even her biggest haters have to feel some sympathy watching her tumultuous relationship with Matt Jordan play out this season. Kenya herself has admitted that she’s “ashamed” of her inability to break away from the toxic interaction.
Kenya opened up about watching that stairwell confession where Matt called her out for (allegedly) having sex with him in his truck (which she didn’t address, obviously). And on a lighter note, Kenya had nothing but praise for Cynthia Bailey and Sheree Whitfield’s kids after they walked the runway in the Cargo fashion show.

Kenya had a lot to say in her Bravo blog. To start things off, Kenya declared, “I LOVED the fashion show! Cynthia did a great job bringing a New York vibe to Atlanta. It was edgy, young, and sexy.”
Kenya also gave shout outs to Noelle Robinson and Kairo Whitfield: “I was especially proud of how amazing Miss Noel was opening the show. YAAASSS, Miss Noel! ‘Miss I am the Face of Cargo.’ She’s just so fancy! LOL! Although I don’t know Sheree’s son Kairo, he also deserves praise. Both mothers should be very proud.” Agreed.
Then, Kenya had to address the elephant in the room: her encounter with on-again-off-again boyfriend Matt. “That scene happened nearly six months ago. It’s painful to watch myself at my age tolerating such foolishness from anyone. I am ashamed.”

Kenya shared, “I focused so hard on breaking old habits of not running away when things get tough. Yet, this relationship was the exact scenario. I should have run away as fast as humanly possible.”
She warned, “If a man is capable of damaging your property, calling you out of your name, threatening you, tells you that you will die unhappy and alone – but in the same breath begs you to stay with him – RUN. I pray that other women take away that reprehensible behavior from a man is never acceptable. There is no excuse for abuse.”
Kenya insisted things after different in the present day, “I am thankful to have moved on from what seems like a lifetime ago. My circle is completely different now.” She also claimed, “I do not now or will ever have any communication with him. I do not wish harm on anyone and hope that he can move on with his life and leave me completely alone. I don’t. I did. I’m done.”
