Candiace Dillard Regrets Apology To Charrisse Jackson-Jordan

Candiace Dillard Wishes She Didn’t Apologize To Charrisse Jackson-Jordan

When Candiace Dillard joined Real Housewives of Potomac she hit it off with Monique Samuels immediately. Last season, Monique joined the cast as a friend of Charrisse Jackson-Jordan’s. With that said, she expected her old friend and her new friend to get along.

Unfortunately for Monique, that’s not what happened. Charrisse asked Candiace if Candiace’s mother paid for her engagement ring. Candiace described that question as a “shady bitch” comment. Charrisse got offended by the description. Candiace hurled some age-centered insults at Charrisse. And then Monique was left in the middle. If she took up for Charrisse she could be viewed as a bad friend to Candiace. If she stood up for Candiace, she could have seemed disloyal to Charrisse.

Candiace opened up about the friendship triangle with Charrisse and Monique in a Bravo blog post. She explained, “So much has happened since Nemacolin. Relationships can ebb and flow. What I have learned about Charrisse is that she is a sensitive lady and must be handled with care. While I wouldn’t call it jealousy per se, I can definitely see Charrisse being a little cautious of me moving into her territory with her Jersey Girl.”

Candiace was asked, “Do you think that Monique was hanging you out to dry at the second-day dinner like Ashley [Darby] says? ” Candiace answered, “Well, you gotta take everything Ash says with two grains of salt and a shot of cod liver oil.”

She continued, “But, when you peel back the layers and stacks of embellished drama Ashley tends to pile on top of the latest debacle, I’m not sure what to make of Monique’s intentions. I know what kind of friend Monique has been to me from the time we met. I know how she has welcomed me into her home and how her family has welcomed Chris [Bassett] and me into their lives. I know how supportive she has been of me in figuring out the best way to maneuver this colorful group of women. So, I can’t believe after all of that, she would just throw me under the bus for no reason.”

Candiace hasn’t written off Monique. Instead, she gave it more thought and concluded, “What I am more inclined to believe is that she was busy being loyal to her first friend and it left room for me to be ‘left out to dry.'”

Candiace admitted, “It was definitely an eyebrow raiser to watch her sort of waffle throughout the episode (she kind of defends me when the fly fishing group was in the jeep but she kind of let me get talked about…) but I think she felt caught in the middle and didn’t want to have to choose a side.” And clearly, Monique was very uncomfortable actually choosing a side.

Candiace wrote, “I think because she is closest to Charrisse, she, of course, didn’t want to see me beef with her. I think she expected for Charrisse and me to get along and for me to, perhaps, have beef with some of the other ladies. So maybe it was a bit of shell shock when it turned out that her two friends were going at it.” Monique probably hoped that her new pal and her old one would unite and side with her this season, but that didn’t happen. Is there hope for the two of them to bond over their mutual affection for Monique? Or are these two just oil and water?

Candiace tried to smooth things over when she apologized to Charrisse, but now she has some regrets. She confessed, “Full disclosure. After watching the whole situation play out again, I wish I hadn’t apologized to Charrisse. This whole thing happened almost a year ago and I’m over it now but, placing myself back in the moment, girlfriend gave off vibes and she didn’t deserve my apology so soon. I probably would have apologized eventually though. I’m not a complete heathen.”

The last season of Real Housewives of Atlanta culminated in Kim Zolciak vs. NeNe Leakes drama, but it started out with some Kim vs. Kenya Moore– with some Kroy Biermann cameo appearances thrown in.

The Atlanta Housewives questioned Kim all season long for leaving Kroy on standby in the car- just waiting for her to storm out or waiting to step in when she “needs” backup.

Kenya opened up about her issues with Kim (and Kroy) during an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish podcast. Kenya revealed, “Listen, I was a Kim fan before she fell out with me for no reason at all and targeted me.”

Kenya explained, “I thought she was a pretty cool person, but when I heard she was coming back I thought was good for the show was good for the fans and good for all of us. That changed when she was just so negative and nasty. I don’t think you have to do that to make a good show- intentionally be that way is what I mean. I think if you defend yourself and get into an organic situation with someone, then I’m all for that. It just seemed like as though she was coming from a place of ‘I’m going to start a fight with this one. I’m going to pick on that one. I’m gonna come after this one.’ That is where I started to rethink her coming back.” Well, yeah. She had to do what she could to earn that Friend of the Housewives paycheck.

Kenya recalled the infamous fight over John Legend tickets at the beginning of the season. She shared, “It was a bit intimidating because I remember when she threw her phone at me and hit the table and broken glass went everywhere. All of a sudden I look up and Kroy is standing over me.”

The mom-to-be continued, “He’s a big guy. Obviously, his wife was upset. I’m like ‘Is he coming after me?’ I didn’t know and that’s not a good situation to be in as a cast member and you’re looking up at this big, football player with an angry wife. So it wasn’t fair to us. The men shouldn’t be allowed on the set in that capacity.”

Kenya declared, “You can’t show up when your wife is having a fight, jumping in the middle of it, or intimidating other cast mates that are women. It’s just not a good situation.” When was Kroy intimidating other women? Yes, it’s a little strange how he went from being an NFL player to a glorified chauffeur- but is it intimidating? Maybe something just isn’t translating to me while I’m sitting safely on my couch at home.

Kenya was asked, “Going into the reunion, was there any one thing where you were like I want an apology for this?” Without hesitation, Kenya said, “That’s every damn reunion. Are you serious? Have you watched me on this show? Have you seen the things that people have said about me and done to me?”

The rant continued: “I will never get an apology for the things that have happened to me on this show. I have been lied on since day one saying that I’ve paid people to be on this show. I have never ever paid anyone one cent to be on the show. I’ve never promised to pay anyone to be on the show. That’s a lie. Have I ever gotten an apology for that? Have I ever gotten an apology for the craziness that even Porsha [Williams] has said in the last three consecutive reunions? Have I ever gotten an apology for my hair being pulled?”

Kenya kept going: “I have never gotten an apology for anything. So, no. I don’t expect an apology for anything that transpires in this group because sometimes petty means just that. You just are petty and you can’t see beyond just being small.” She concluded, ” I don’t think there was a lot of resolution, but I think with some of the situations there may be some hope.”

Naomie Olindo Refuses To Share New Relationship On Southern Charm

When Naomie Olindo first appeared on Southern Charm, she was Craig Conover’s girlfriend. After a three year romance and many sewing-induced arguments, the couple called it quits. Now Naomie has a new man in her life, but she doesn’t want to share the relationship on television.

Naomie confirmed a relationship with an anesthesiologist named Metul Shah during an interview with People. She confessed, “I’m very, very happy.” Naomie also said, “He’s wonderful.” Before that interview, Naomie shared a photo on Instagram with the caption “Pray 4 him.”

This is exciting news for a lot of the Southern Charm viewers, but it looks like we won’t get to see this new relationship on the show. Naomie explained, “I don’t want to give any details about him, because I want to respect his privacy.” Noooo. Not another one. We already have Cameran Eubanks and her off-camera husband on this show. We can’t be stuck with Thomas Ravenel and Ashley Jacobs as the only couple on Southern Charm. I can only stomach so many of Thomas’ jokes about Plan B and I’ve already hit my limit.

Naomie answered, “Definitely not” when she was asked about sharing her relationship with the viewers. She added, “I think I learned that lesson the hard way.”

Speaking of Craig, Naomie shared, “We definitely both wish each other the best.” She also said, “We understand why it didn’t work out, and it’s time to move on and just be happy for each other. It’s a good thing.” Fair enough, but what does this mean for the show? Will Naomie still appear next season?

Fall broadcast reality TV increases by one hour, thanks to ABC

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: On An Island

Well, the behind the scenes drama of Real Housewives Of New York has damn near exploded since last we saw our fair ladies! After seeing herself called “a drunk” by Bethenny Frankel on camera, Dorinda Medley has taken to her blog and Twitter to fight back. And she’s throwing Luann De Lesseps (who agreed in her blog that last week’s episode was not a good look for Do) under the bus in the process. Looking back now, Dorinda sees the entire drunken dinner scene as a setup. Hmm. Oh, personal accountability…wherefore art thou?

But back in the land of 4-6 months ago, cameras aren’t picking up Dorinda’s wrath. In fact, her trip to Puerto Rico with Bethenny looks more like a bonding experience, especially given the heart to heart they shared in the plane on the way over. Back in Manhattan, the group starts to fracture again when Ramona Singer just can’t help but stir the sh*t between Carole Radziwill and Bethenny. Although Carole isn’t biting yet, she sure seems mad as hell now (in her blogs) about Bethenny’s treatment of her this season. Could it have to do with Adam? Maybe.

Before we get to that mess, we’re taken on a whirlwind tour of PR, where Dorinda, Bethenny, and her team are driving out to devastated areas to hand out cash cards and supplies. The destruction is heartbreaking – even more so knowing that it had been months since the hurricane hit and it looked like it had just happened.
