What in the world is happening on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? It has been reported that Denise Richards had been skipping filming due to her acting career, and that her RHOBH co-stars were not amused. Lisa Rinna even called out Denise for missing the finale party, commenting on Denise’s absence on social media. Oh, Rinna!
Brandi Glanville, who is back on Season 10 of the show, has been shading Denise all over the place. Brandi fired off some tweets at Denise that were certainly interesting. Brandi also spoke out about one Housewife who was refusing to be part of filming, but she didn’t name the culprit. So, what exactly went down between these two?
We may have an answer, but it is a bit of a shock. According to The Daily Mail, Brandi and Denise had been hooking up for months. Denise allegedly told Brandi that she and her husband, Aaron Phypers, had an open relationship. Apparently, they don’t. All of this information reportedly came to light during the cast’s trip to Rome. Well, I didn’t see this scenario coming.
Denise’s publicist told People, “It isn’t true.” But a source told People, “What really happened with Brandi and Denise will play out on the season. There is a lot of she said, she said going on. But it’s going to be very dramatic.”
Naturally, Brandi responded on Instagram, with the caption: “When you want to respond but are not ‘allowed’ to…” Thanks for clarifying that for us, Brandi.
To add to all the confusion, Denise posted on her Instagram, “We wanted to be adults so bad. Now look at us. Just f*****g look.” Denise included a heart emoji and the caption “#mood.”
Perhaps Camille Grammer can shed some light on this messy situation. According to HollywoodLife, on January 7 Camille took to Twitter in response to the juicy rumor. “It’s not true. Someone is desperate for a diamond,” Camille wrote. She is talking smack about Brandi, because Denise already has her diamond, and Brandi does not. Brandi hasn’t had a diamond since season 5. Someone took to Twitter to ask, “You’re saying this doesn’t come up this season?” Camille responded, “It may come up… a desperate person looking to start drama to get back in the show full time. Some people will lie about anything SMH.”
But Camille wasn’t done speaking out. Later, in the same Twitter thread, a follower asked if the rumor about Brandi and Denise’s affair was true. “The story isn’t true,” Camille replied. “It may play out this season.. I don’t know? She didn’t do anything with BG.” Camille did have some comments for the full-time Beverly Hills ladies. “I would like to see the diamond holders actually carry a season instead of guests or friends,” Camille tweeted. Well played, Camille!
I am so confused. Did Denise and Brandi hookup? Is this why Denise has missed filming? Is Brandi just trying to get a storyline and earn back her RHOBH diamond? I cannot wait until Season 10 to find out some answers.

No one can ever accuse Bravo’s Andy Cohen of not dreaming big. He has his sights on nabbing a royally big name to join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Andy already has one Housewife with a title. He has Countess Luann de Lesseps on Real Housewives of New York.
If Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub had made it down the aisle with her 21st fiancé, Olivier Maier, she would have received a title as well. Danielle would have been a Duchess if she had successfully trapped wed Olivier, who is the Duke of Provence.
But Andy has made a wish list for RHOBH with one giant name on it: Meghan Markle. On January 8, Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, made the shocking announcement on their joint Instagram account that they were stepping back from their royal obligations. “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen, “the couple stated.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex added, “We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.”
According to People, a royal source said that Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family were not expecting the couple to make the announcement, and they were royally miffed. Awkward.
“There is a lot of hurt about this,” the insider said. There is also apparent tension between Prince William and Prince Harry. Rather than spend the traditional Christmas holiday at Sandringham with the royal family, Meghan and Harry spent the holiday in Vancouver with their baby, Archie.
Andy commented on the couple’s Instagram announcement. “Open invite for The Duchess to join #RHOBH !!!” Andy wrote. Bravo also got in on the hijinks. Under the Comments by Celebs’ post about Cohen’s job offer, Bravo’s Instagram account posted, “Meghan Markle tagline suggestion: Beverly Hills is full of diamonds, but I’m the crown jewel.” I do love that tagline.
So, while we all know that the former Suits actress is never going to be a cast member of RHOBH, it is fun to imagine. Just picture Lisa Vanderpump hosting the Duchess for high tea, and the pair petting Lisa’s dogs and ponies. That would be amazing! But starring in Andy’s casting daydream is as close as Meghan, and her tiaras, will ever come to reality television. Sorry, Andy!

Monday ushered in a new era on Vanderpump Rules. We “met” new cast members Max Boyens, Dayna Kathan, and Brett Caprioni. And there’s still more news faces to come. Max used to hook up with Scheana Marie and Brett recently did/possibly still is. Or at least he was at this point in filming.
During one of his on-camera interviews, Brett said, “The next thing I know, we just kissed. That wasn’t what I thought it would be. Nothing against her.” The off-camera producer did some prodding and asked, “Wait, are you saying she’s not a good kisser?” I didn’t think that’s what Brett meant at all, but apparently, that is what he was implying. He confirmed, “That is what I’m saying.” Damn, that’s cold. These new guys aren’t playing around. They all want to get that camera time and secure those Instagram followers and I applaud the effort.
Obviously, that comment did not sit well with Scheana. And, I mean, why would it? The remark was unnecessary and embarrassing, whether it’s true or not. During a question and answer session on her Instagram Story, one of Scheana’s followers asked, “Thoughts on Brett and what he said about you being a bad kisser?”
According to an article from Us Weekly, Scheana responded, “He’s a f–king liar! hahaha first he didn’t remember it and then he remembers it was ‘bad’?”
No matter how “good” Scheana is at kissing, it’s clear that Brett is just playing the game. He wants that camera time and he wants a second season. And, as embarrassing as it is, all publicity is good publicity, right? Scheana may not think so, but at least she did have a more significant storyline than some of the other OG’s, who are most likely being phased out of the show. Hooking up with Mingling with the new cast members is a smart move on Scheana’s part. She has the distinction of being an OG and she’s elongating her relevance.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke made a thirsty splash last season as a freshman housewife. Seven children. Claims of occasional swinging with her statement necklace wearing hubby Sean Burke. Making out with Tamra Judge. And having an odd mother, Dr. Deb, whom Braunwyn revealed she was taking a break from at the reunion. Although Braunwyn was not always understandable or relatable, she was often memorable.
Braunwyn tried to fit in with the other OC ladies, but struggled to bond with some of her co-stars. Vicki Gunvalson found her behavior scandalous. Braunwyn even annoyed annoying Gina Kirschenheiter. Recently, Braunwyn revealed she will have a special something in common with many of her co-stars if she returns for a second season. Braunwyn has joined the exclusive OC Housewife Plastic Surgery Club.
Bravo’s The Daily Dish reports that Braunwyn shared details of a recent cosmetic tweaking on her Instagram Stories. I am not sure, but Braunwyn could hold the all-time Housewife record for the youngest cast member facelift.
Braunwyn shared, “Good morning, hopefully, I don’t scare you.” She posted a few pictures of herself, in the typically gruesome facelift bandages and gauze.
According to Braunwyn’s Instagram Stories, she underwent two non-surgical procedures–FaceTite and Morpheus 8. I must not be up on the latest in cosmetic enhancements as I have not heard of either procedure. Someday, I envision drive-through plastic surgery in the OC–a little spackling during your lunch hour just before an important business meeting or a special first date.
So why a facelift? Braunwyn explained, “I didn’t want to change how I look, I actually like my face, but I did want to restore some fullness I’ve lost over the years (having babies takes its toll!).”
Newly refreshed Braunwyn is in good company amongst her co-stars, as Tamra, Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd have all been open about their cosmetic surgery adventures. If Braunwyn was on better terms with Vicki, she could have consulted the OC expert on facial refurbishments.
Braunwyn offered up additional details on the work she had done. She stated, “What I did do also on top of that was I had fat taken from my knee and put underneath my eyes. That was mainly because it doesn’t matter how much I sleep or how much concealer I use anymore, I have really thin skin there and its always blue. And even when I’m well-rested people are like ‘Oh, are you OK? You look sick.’ I decided to do that because — why not? I’m there.”
Hey, as long as you’re there, you might as well take advantage of it! “Why not,” indeed. I am sure there are many arguments for “why not,” but if plastic surgery makes Braunwyn feel better, that is 100% her business–to share on Instagram.
Unlike some cosmetic procedures, Braunwyn’s less invasive work has meant a shorter recovery time. She shared, “The only pain that I’m having today is where they had to take the fat off my knees. I’m kind of a tiny person so that’s a little bit sore.”
Beauty is pain, some say. The adage seems to hold particularly true in Orange County. I would tell Braunwyn to keep her chin up during her recovery, but it looks like that has already been taken care of.

One would think playing a creepy stalker would be difficult, right? Well, for Penn Badgely, it's actually quite effortless. Veteran Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers will never forget the big fuss Danielle Staub made when Jacqueline Laurita’s (then-teenage) daughter Ashlee Malleo yanked on her extensions at the country club.
It’s especially relevant nowadays since the episode just aired when Danielle channeled Ashlee by pulling on Margaret Josephs‘ ponytail. Danielle upped the ante though. She also poured the contents of Margaret’s purse into a lit candle. So, of course, this new content has led to more shit talking between Danielle, Jacqueline, and Ashlee. Gotta love that cling for relevance. Nevertheless, Danielle allegedly took things too far. Yet again. Color me shocked.
Danielle has no boundaries. She still has a vendetta for Ashlee and now Ashlee is threatening to take legal action against the part-time Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member. I mean, the recently retired, Danielle Staub. Don’t even get me started on that one. Does it count as a retirement when Danielle wasn’t even a real cast member on the show? Anyway….
The woman formerly named Ashley (yes, she changed the spelling of her name and I will never get over that) tweeted, “Danielle Staub is DMing people absolutely insane and false stories about me. I can easily prove that they are false stories. This is me openly telling her to stop or I will be taking legal action.”
Damn. Danielle really has a lot of spare time on her hands now that Teresa Giudice isn’t answering her calls and she’s unemployed.
She also called on Twitter users to help her build a case against Beverly Danielle. Ashlee tweeted, “If anyone else has DMs from her, feel free to send them my way. I’m collecting as many as I can for when I file my report.”
Ashlee also tweeted, “Clown,” which I’m assuming is related to this. The first thing that comes to mind when I saw the word “clown” in my Twitter feed was the Season 2 sitdown with Danielle and Caroline Manzo. Legendary.
