Celebrity Big Brother Recap: Day 9 Land Of Nod Tasks Continue

It’s Day 9 in the Celebrity Big Brother house and the second day of the Land of Nod Task.  Celebs have pulled an all-nighter with the egg timers and dream cloud jumping.

Brandon Block is struggling in the house and James Jourdan is feeling guilty.  Neither of which I saw coming.  James feels that they should have been more sensitive to the fact that she is nominated for eviction and has been dealt a tough journey so far.  Angie takes the tough stance and says that they can’t have regrets and that she was up for eviction too, so by the same thinking, she should have been invited too.  However Nicola and James talk to Stacy.  Somehow it turns in to Nicola walking off in tears.  #itsallaboutme.

Got to say, I am loving the look of those dressing gowns.  Nicola and James are up and down in the fluffiest softest looking robes.  As a recipient of a new dressing gown over Christmas, I appreciate a good gown and those are definitely ones of quality.  Not that mine isn’t, of course, but you know #justsaying

Back to the house.  Jedward are still in the house.  Wearing white socks.  Enough said.

Stacy and James C are talking about their celebrity friends.  AKA Stacy is name dropping again and telling James about singing for Tom Cruise.  And being a Scientologist.  I say they’re talking.  James doesn’t say a great deal.  I don’t think he got chance.

Stacy moves victims and Jamie is next in the firing line.  Poor chile is sitting in the hot tub, and Stacy is making her moves.  If I ever have to resort to the line of “Once you try black you never go back,” lock me up and retire me from ever conversing with the opposite sex again.

When that doesn’t work (can’t think why), she tries the older woman angle.  Whilst everyone is laughing (Jamie somewhat uncomfortably), I’m wondering if it would be just as acceptable if it were an older man saying all this to a younger woman.  I think it would actually be classed as harassment.  Or maybe that’s just me.

We move to late afternoon and Brandon is leaving.  He’s not happy and hasn’t felt himself for a few days.  Everyone respects his decision, with Brandon and James C having a hug and a kiss and a proper bond.  Fine touching moment.  Then Jedward get involved and ruin the moment.  They just won’t let go keep badgering him.  Even when told to back off a number of times, they still keep at it.  How very unlike Jedward.  They push that wee bit hard and Jamie loses it.  They are told they’re the biggest joke act he’s ever seen and they’re just noise.  Jamie is usually quite a quiet character so to see this, they must have been buzzing like gnats.  Give Jedward their due, they don’t raise their voice or swear or anything like that and take it well.  Makes you wonder how much is an act and how much is genuine lack of self -awareness and sensitivity of other.

However Spencer smells weakness and heads to Jedward divide and conquer.  He tells them no one else is interested, and no one cares, and we see the team up that everyone predicted.  Or do we?  When Spencer started getting a bit more carried away, saying that “we don’t care” what the other house mates thought of them, we being Speidi and Jedward, Jedward (no idea which one) said “Actually I do”.  We (us, not them)see a glimmer of hope….

Last part of the task, and Nicola and James J have to guess who said what in the house.  Angie is identified as being housemate Speidi identified as biggest game player.  Speidi are also identified as saying trash about Bianca and James J found out that Edward (of Jedward) called him a nobody, so all in all, tonight’s entertainment has been nicely set up.  Ingredients in, now add alcohol….

John (of Jedward- I know this cos he said the other one was Edward) heads straight up to James J to apologize.  James J takes it on the chin and seems pretty genuine about it.  That’s one thing about him, he seems to take it as well as he gives it.  The entertainment is delayed for now.

Coleen and Austin are talking whilst looking after the egg timers.  Austin is explaining that whilst he knows he has a problem with drink, he doesn’t think he is an alcoholic and Coleen offers that she thinks he is using alcohol to self-medicate whilst in the house.  She tells him that even when he is drinking, he can still be fun Austin till he just has that one too many, and just starts looking for a fight.  Austin does agree and it’s comforting to know he has identified it himself, and hopefully will get the help he needs.

Angie confronts Speidi as to how she is the biggest player, so she can continue doing it.  Calum’s face at this is a picture.  He doesn’t know how to bite for, Speidi or Angie.  Spencer explains that no one expected her to be able to fight back as much as she does.  She drops in an f-bomb and seems to throw in a little threat/shade that she had to come and ask them as she’s sure there’ll be plenty they ask her about and as long as everyone’s aware it’s a game and means nothing.  Calum’s like, seriously, what the…..

Spencer points out that this behavior is just backing his theory up, which to be fair is right.  I originally thought Angie had a good chance of being a winner or at least high in the final few, but now, I’m not so sure.  It’s like if my dad came at my friends wearing a backwards baseball cap, high fiving everyone and rapping.  And to anyone that knows my dad, A) tell him Hi.  B) Tell him NOOOOOOO.

Anyway…

Housemates are told that they passed the shopping task.  The ad break shows us that 2 new housemates are entering on eviction night, and promising the weekend from hell.  Has anyone seen Perez your side of the pond lately?  I may have to take a couple of days off from this and pick up when he’s gone.  That guy made my teeth itch last time.  Hopefully I’m panicking undeservedly.  Can but hope.

Back to the house, and Austin, Bianca, Stacy, James J and Jamie are talking about the paparazzi and Austin is saying how the majority of shots are set up, which they all agree.  James asks why that bothers him, although he goes to great effort to say he’s not trying to bait him, merely see what’s he’s thinking.  Stacy is already getting annoyed and starts walking off.  It threatens to kick off, but they all, especially Bianca calm him and tell him he can’t keep acting like this, and just to ignore it.  Austin does and Stacy walks up and baits him.  And Ka-Boom!!!!! Or more, Ka-tsh.  It’s like a firework that fizzles out.  A little bit of handbags at dawn and they go their separate ways…

…however later in the evening most of the housemates are sat in the garden having a drink and talking.  They are actually having conversations and banter and joking and laughing and just making Big Brother memories.  Austin stops everything to tell Stacy that he doesn’t dislike her and has not taken on board that’s she had such a bad time in the house and that he should have made allowances for that, and that he is really enjoying her company.  Everyone toasts, and it’s a lovely moment.  We turn a corner, and Stacy really does seem so happy to feel accepted.   It’s lovely.

Calum is teasing Nicola about her behavior with Jamie, and she is looking pretty tipsy.  Things could get interesting.  Jasmine is apologizing to Stacy and the girls seem to be completing the night’s apologies and peace talks.  Stacy is so relieved and happy she’s crying, and I am so glad she’s got something positive to remember of the house.  She does spoil the moment a tad by coming on a wee bit strong with Calum but let’s put that down to euphoria.  She goes in to the diary room and is soo giddy about it all.  We shan’t tell her that while she’s in there, talking about her crush on him, Jasmine’s in the kitchen cupping his sausage.  And not the one he’s frying.  We finish the night with Jasmine joining a sleeping Calum in his bed, and peace and order restored in the house.  Just in time for the upheaval that’s coming….who will the new housemates be??

Lisa Vanderpump Wonders Why No One Stopped Dorit’s Panty Prank If They Were Concerned About Erika Jayne’s Response

Can we all just agree that game nights and the ladies of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are just a terrible, terrible mix? It’s like tere and prostitution whores or Vicki Gunvalson and boyfriends or Kenya Moore and reality. They just don’t fit well together. Make it stop, Bravo. The charades I can handle…the drama, not so much!

On this week’s RHOBH, the dreaded recurring game night occurred at Kyle Richards’ abode, complete with the newbies and a very healthy looking Kim Richards but sans slut pigs (thankfully). Eileen Davidson used the opportunity to nitpick the accent memory and word choice and panty pranks of Dorit Kemsley, while Lisa Rinna revisited her long-standing feud with Kim. Don’t get me wrong, I am not quite on board with Dorit, but she clearly has no clue how to handle these women. I adored Eileen on Days of Our Lives (especially as Kristen DiMera’s crazy twin Susan), but her pettiness is exhausting. Ditto for Rinna’s hustling and QVC line anger at Kim. At least the even keeled Lisa Vanderpump is here to give us her words of wisdom!

Taking to her blog, Lisa writes, “And here we are once more. As I sit here on vacation, a brief respite from the daily bustle I live in, I ponder and reflect as to how on earth I can make sense of this convoluted scenario. So many different inconclusive conversations, driven by LR And ED…”

Noting that the girls seemed on board with Dorit’s panty prank until they saw Erika’s reaction, Lisa begins, “The crux of the matter in regard to knicker gate was the fact that Dorit perpetuated a faux pas by discussing it with all but Erika Girardi. But cast our minds back, although I fear being repetitive, the sentiment, albeit perhaps misguided, was to bring levity, to jest about what had transpired…If there was even a hint, a minuscule drop of discouragement displayed from Kyle, LR and ED in regard to Dorit’s plan, maybe she would’ve been reticent to follow through.”

She continues, “But to the contrary, there was encouragement, so when Eileen states at Game Night that she was being protective of Erika, as she rubbed her arm, mmm let me explain how being protective works… One, you could perhaps call Erika and say that the knickers were coming down so to speak, so be prepared, or you might say, ‘Dorit, Erika might not be amused’ or ‘Are you sure this is a good idea?’ not ‘Oh we have to be there’ or ‘Yippee this will be an interesting conversation!’ What was the term Eileen used? Oh yes, ‘The Crotch Chronicles,’ yes that was it. So it’s understandable that Dorit has trouble computing all the chatter about Erika being humiliated and blindsided, as that was not the plan at all.”

Lisa recalls, “The other dilemma is as to the sentiment displayed by PK and Dorit at their dinner.Dorit had asked me repeatedly what had ensued between the group last year. I urged her to discover that for herself if she needed to, it was documented it wasn’t that difficult, but I was reluctant to give her the lowdown for fear of being accused of exactly what Eileen has stated. No, I wanted Dorit to draw her own conclusions,” adding, “I believe in an effort to diminish the importance of what had transpired between us,  Dorit and PK naively stated that maybe it was a result of the emotional turmoil they were both experiencing that resulted in the negativity towards me…Not so.”

Stating she concurs that the family deaths faced by Eileen and Rinna had nothing to do with their falling out, Lisa asserts, “The timing was wrong, unbeknownst to them, but I knew for sure that was not a catalyst in what had erupted between us. I remember sending flowers to LR a while after Dubai, not as a peace offering, but as a reminder that condolences would always supersede any histrionics they had been leveled against me. It was a sad time in her life but long after our situation.”

Of the newbie’s uncanny ability to recall things incorrectly (if at all!), Lisa explains, “Dorit is a rookie and unused to the wherewithal one might need to, shall we say, circumvent altercations in this group. Her recollections have been slightly inaccurate, but to no great extent. Kyle agreed that Erika might have unresolved feelings for sure. She just didn’t initiate that statement; Dorit did.”

Rehashing the confrontation between Kim and Rinna, Lisa says what we were all thinking. She notes, “At game night the interaction between LR and Kim became unduly aggressive. Raising Kim’s incident with the law was designed to humiliate and embarrass her. Also the prickly subject of Mr. Hamlin reared its ugly head once more. The jabs were still as pointed as the shards of glass that shattered that night on the table.”

As for that sincere (eye roll) apology, Lisa adds, “When LR states that she meant to hurt Kim and now she was truly sorry…Being truly sorry means you have regret, you are remorseful and desire to heal the wound, you display contrition. The only way she can do that would be to stop commenting, stop contesting in a public forum Kim’s sobriety and be happy for her situation now. So we will see the validity of this apology as we proceed down this path. I know what lies ahead, but you don’t, and that is why I encourage you all to keeeeeeeep watching.”

Signing off, Lisa concludes, “Now let me have another sip of my margarita before I jump onto a plane and head back to my very own reality. Until next week, remember my mantra, love and laughter supersede all. As always…Love Lisa.”

I’d like a margarita too after that episode. Maybe floor four…

Stassi Schroeder Talks Her Favorite Housewives, Funerals, The Bachelor, And How Villains Save Reality TV

Stassi Schroeder‘s latest podcast covers issues far and wide in the realms of reality TV – from how villains save reality TV, to Real Housewives, to how The Bachelor has changed. But the Vanderpump Rules star also discusses her dream funeral, high-stakes Instagram negotiation, and why she’s obsessed with Asian women.

Below are some of the highlights (I use that term loosely). Stassi’s guest is her friend, comedian Annabelle DeSisto. Honestly, almost every topic on the show came back to death of some sort, which is strange.

First, “DJ James f–king Kennedy, the human scrotum” is the latest thing making Stassi contemplate suicide, because it is super unfair he could inherit money from George Michael. She texted everyone a pic a cult’s mass suicide, because if James gets any money, they’re going to want to kill themselves.

Stassi is also having Instagram drama due to a fake Stassi impersonating her. Kinda.

For brand symmetry, Stassi “was desperate” to get the Instagram handle @Stassi to match her Twitter handle (her current IG is @StassiSchroeder). She had to appeal to get @Stassi on Twitter – someone had it, but it was inactive. “I remember that moment like I remember 9/11,” she gushes. “I remember where I was, what I was wearing when I got the message that I was @Stassi.”

Stassi’s quest to get @Stassi on Instagram has been less successful, thanks to an “Asian girl who had just recently moved to Texas.” She hadn’t posted for years. “Her name wasn’t even Stassi. I stalked her enough back in the day to figure it out,” Stassi explains. Just as Stassi was “this close” to IG giving her the handle, the girl posted something.

All this happened before Vanderpump Rules was big. Stassi messaged the girl and asked if she’d sell @Stassi for $400. The girl asked for with $10,000 instead, because of the “sentimental value.” (HAHA!) “She was dead serious.”

Stassi said no – $10,000 is like “two boob jobs.” She laughs, “I’ll sell my own Instagram name for $10,000. Honestly – I don’t need to be Stassi Schroeder, I can be Swedish Princess on Instagram if someone wants to pay me $10,000 for it!” Stassi jokingly encourages everyone to “go bully” the owner of @Stassi to “make her switch.”

Stassi adds, “I’m so sick of ‘bully’ being transformed into something else … you can’t f–king use it in a joke anymore. I don’t think I’m a bully.” Why do I suddenly want to write a song titled “$10,000 Instagram” sung by Erika Jayne?

Stassi praises her Asian IG imposter as “Season 1 Stassi,” and says, “I admire this chick and I really do respect her hustle.”

This spirals into a tangent about Stassi’s idolization of Asian women. “The way that the Kardashians are, like, so looked up to in the US – I feel like they should be Asian,” she laughs. “Every time I go to Rodeo Drive or any expensive store – it’s always Asians, and I’m like what are you guys doing with your lives that I’m not? How did you get it so right and I didn’t? Why don’t more people talk about this?”

“I don’t feel bad having this conversation. These are all positive things,” Stassi continues. “It’s not racist because I’m actually jealous. I’m trying to be them. They’re clever. They have zero flaws.” Also, Asian girls are every guy’s fantasy, says Stassi.

“The nicest compliment Patrick ever gave me in the three years we were together, he said, ‘Stassi’s like the Asian-ist white, blonde girl I’ve ever met.’ That is huge,” she adds.

Stassi’s other obsession is Caroline Stanbury, who she describes as “the one who acts like me.” That’s a high compliment.

Stassi doesn’t think Caroline deserves the villain edit because “she’s the only f–king person that is actually doing her job and the only person that is actually delivering anything.”

“Caroline – I’m bowing down,” Stassi proclaims. “Everyone might be hating on you, saying you’re a bully, but all those other chicks are just as big a bully as you are in real life, but they’re not acting like that the second the camera turns on because they have an agenda. They’re like, ‘I want my cookbook to be successful so I better be likable.’ The people who are getting this villain edit – they’re not thinking, ‘How can I make myself likable so that I can sell something?’ They’re just doing their f–king job, living their life, saying their opinion, talking about their thoughts and feelings, and just, like, living their truth.”

Stassi goes on to rant about people “cyber bullying” reality villains. “Your favorite shows would be canceled if everyone sat around holding hands. You’re welcome. Do people not realize this?!”

Stassi likens it to single-season Real Housewives that viewers call boring, like, “Kathryn Edwards with your half-deaf self. She was like the most wasted part of last season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.” Really? REALLY?!

“The people who are villains are giving everyone else on that show a job. I’m doing my job. You have to be crazy to go on a reality show. I’m crazy. [laughs]” Stassi, again, complains about how unfairly she is treated on Vanderpump Rules.

“I’m angry, cause I feel like every f–king year I look like an asshole – granted, my humor is dickish… that’s just my personality. Even in real life, I’m polarizing – you either like me or you don’t.”

“Now I’m resentful of all the people on my show that come into it and are like, ‘I wanna be liked,’ so they don’t act the way they act off camera. Therefore, there’s no footage to show them being an asshole. There’s no footage to show them being themselves, being assertive or aggressive, or stating their opinions or feelings.” Who exactly is she referring to that is likable on Pump Rules?

At one point Stassi declares, “If you make me work, I’m going to have negative energy.” Which must totally explain her behavior…

Speaking of villains, they discuss Bethenny Frankel’s behavior on the last season of Real Housewives Of New York.

“Bethenny is newly re-likable to me,” explains Stassi, based on how Bethenny handled Sonja over Tipsy Girl. “It cheapens [Bethenny’s] brand,” Stassi argues. “It makes it a joke. If Kristen started a podcast and called it ‘Straight up With Kristen,’ it’s cheapening mine. Bethenny was nice to sit there and talk to her like that.”

Stassi‘s friend Annabelle argues that Sonja is broke, and doesn’t even have heat in her townhouse, so Bethenny could’ve been more sympathetic. “I don’t have heat,” retorts Stassi. “I forgot to pay my gas bill for a really long time, and I don’t cook for myself, so now I’m like cold all the time.”

Stassi declares the scene of Sonja sobbing in Bethenny’s Skinnygirl office “the greatest scene in the history of reality television,” but clarifies that Sonja is one of her favorite Housewives ever.

“If Sonja Morgan goes away from New York Housewives, I don’t know that I would continue to watch it. New York Housewives is my favorite one, but I’ve fallen off it a little bit. Why did they fire Alex and Simon? WHY? They were just like Sonja – they were just such good TV.” Stassi doesn’t like Carole, but she loves Dorinda Medley after meeting her at an event.

“I don’t have enough good things to say about her. She was so likable, so fun, so kind. She reminded me of what my mom’s like when my mom goes out. Just like really accepting and loving of girls that are younger. I’ve been told so many of the other Housewives refuse to do WWHL with us – people from Southern Charm, people from Vanderpump – because we’re younger. Even though they’re all skinnier and have better bodies because they work out hard, so that doesn’t even make sense. Dorinda has so much confidence and she’s so lively and just in tune with herself. And her body, was just like, what the f–k do you do?! I’m 28 and I don’t look like you!”

Stassi also loves Yolanda Hadid, who she totally believes had (has?) chronic Lyme disease. Stassi met Yolanda on WWHL three years ago. “Yolanda is one of the most confident women I’ve ever seen. She was so mothering and so kind to me and made me feel so comfortable.”

In a totally weird twist, Stassi reveals that she has her funeral all planned out.

“I’ve always loved death. I’ve always loved this shit. I should’ve just been an obituary writer or a funeral party planner. Because there are a lot of people out there that want their funerals to be like parties – like me! I want to be stuffed – like you do with an animal – with make up and hair. And I want a spray tanner to spray me first. And I want my yellow vintage Oscar de la Renta dress that I found from Decades for only $500, that I wore in the opening credits of Vanderpump Rules, because it reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw. And I want a glass of wine in my hand.”

Stassi wants everyone in attendance to take photos with her corpse.

Stassi jokes that a taxidermied Scheana Marie should be serving taxidermied Stassi wine. “If she dies before me I want you to exhume her body so she can do that,” wearing her purple SUR Dress, “so it can be authentic.” She wants her ashes distributed between a wine bottle and a Chloe bag, except her head, which is gonna be mounted on the wall “like a deer head but with a crown on it.” And part of her body will be buried in the family mausoleum in New Orleans, “cause I love cemeteries.” That is just the weirdest thing ever.

Discussing past relationships, Stassi says she loves Cameron Diaz, which is why she dated a SUR manager who was Argentinian. “He was like in love with me,” she gushes. “I was 22, he was probably 27 or 28. He would feed me wine the whole night. He would always tell me, ‘You are Cameron Diaz in The Holiday.'” Stassi worries about being “allowed” to share that story but decides Lisa and Ken don’t listen to her podcast.

Things close with an in depth commentary on The Bachelor and Nick Viall. Stassi interviewed him after his first season and thinks he’s nice but phony.

“He was perfectly polite and didn’t do anything wrong, but I could tell that he was censoring himself because he wanted to be the Bachelor. Every other person from the Bachelor I’ve ever interviewed is super honest about everything. It definitely felt like, um, it was like what a celebrity interview would be like where someone is coached on PR. I don’t have anything bad to say about him. He was very kind, so I’m not talking shit.”

“It was pageant answers,” Stassi adds. “He’s good. He’s a reality veteran.”

Stassi – a huge fan – discusses how The Bachelor has become about “people wanting to quit their jobs and Instagram Fit Tea.”

“It was so sincere. They weren’t celebrity-ish people. You went on The Bachelor because you wanted to find love. Social media changed everything. I’m on reality TV and I’m using it for something. I get it – I’m in the same boat they are. I’m not hating on that. I’m just saying it used to be different.”

Stassi is also getting inundated with tweets that one of the contestants, Corinne, looks just like her. (Stassi actually thinks Corinne looks like Tiffany Trump). She a photo here. 

In the random tidbits: Stassi doesn’t judge Lala Kent for getting plastic surgery. “I don’t care. She’s doing whatever it takes to make herself feel good herself – and that is fine. It’s the same idea [as putting on makeup].”

Sorry this was so long – the entire show was almost TWO HOURS (not kidding).

Dorit Kemsley Isn’t Loving The Rinna-Eileen Tag Team

While it’s clear that Dorit Kemsley is loving newbie co-star Eden Sassoon, she is not feeling much love for the dynamic duo of Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star takes to her blog to dissect this week’s episode: everything from Pantygate to Game Night.

Dorit begins by claiming, for the fifteenth time, that she didn’t mean to offend Erika Jayne over the long and drawn out “Pantygate.” She says that the other ladies could’ve warned her not to make light of the situation with the underwear gift. “I’ve said it a few times now, but I’ll say it one last time. For the record, I never wanted to hurt or shame Erika in any way. I just tried to make light of the situation and be playful. I shouldn’t have talked about buying the panties with the other girls, but no one discouraged me from getting them or even gave Erika the heads up—and these are her friends—so I honestly thought she would find it funny. It’s done with and over, and I really now hope everyone else will let it be, once and for all.”

Eileen and Rinna are dragging things out and making something out of nothing and Dorit is annoyed. She blogged,”Now with Eileen and Lisa R., these two are the closest of friends—they share every little thing together. Not sure why Lisa R. and Eileen need to keep making something out of this dinner conversation, which clearly wasn’t anything I thought much about as I couldn’t even remember it. It was a long dinner after all! Anyway, the last thing I wanted to do was upset Eileen or start drama. It was a few comments with friends over dinner, that’s all ladies.”

Dorit says she enjoyed Game Night, for the most part, at least meeting Eden anyway.  But things went downhill and it started with Eileen‘s refusal to let shit go. “I knew the situation wasn’t going to be great when Eileen called me over. And quite honestly having heard Eileen rehash “pantygate” ONCE AGAIN felt more than I could bear. Erika continues to reassure me that it’s behind us, but Eileen can’t seem to allow that. It doesn’t feel like a “friend” sticking up for a “friend” at this point. It feels more like an attack. These girls are more experienced than me at this, but I’ve now learned in just a few weeks that when things get brought up again and again, it doesn’t end well, so why on earth are we continuing to repeat the same things and discuss something that Erika has said time and time again was over?”

On Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson working as a team, “when Kim started talking about Lisa R. and Eileen’s relationship, I have to say some of that started to hit home, and it was precisely what I was explaining to the girls at the table. I can now see how Eileen and Lisa R. really look out for each other and how they could team up and go after someone. I can appreciate a close friendship, but it’s starting to feel like one winds the other one up.”

She continues, “I, for one, will always stick up for myself and not allow people to bully me or drag things out to make more of a situation then it has to be. Even if it feels like four against one, I have to know I did my best to defend myself, particularly when I NEVER had any mal intent. To make out I was being hurtful or inconsiderate to any of them is ridiculous and untrue.”

She’s dubbing Eden the voice of reason on RHOBH, “to see Lisa R. and Kim going at it was just saddening. Kim was in such a happy place tonight, it’s clear there’s a lot of old wounds between these two that I really don’t know much about. Thank goodness for Eden’s voice of reason calming the situation down. Let’s hope this can be the spirit of things to come!”

Eileen Davidson Defends Lisa Rinna: “She’s Not a Liar Or A Faker”; Addresses Kim Richards Drama At Game Night

Some of us may think that Eileen Davidson has an inability to let things go, but The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star says that she just likes things to be on the table and has nothing but good intentions. She defends her actions – and Lisa Rinna‘s – in this week’s blog.

She starts out, “Have you ever been in a situation where you thought your intentions were good and true, and then at every opportunity to explain yourself you try, and try, and try, but it’s just taken as something completely different? Then you know how I felt at Game Night.”

Eileen just wanted to make sure Dorit understood exactly what happened so there wouldn’t be any confusion, “I wanted her in the loop so she didn’t feel—like Erika did about the panty situation—that we all were talking about her. Dorit herself said at Camille’s house that she felt like we were encouraging her with the underwear present and then we wound Erika up about it behind Dorit’s back. That is not what happened. I did not want her to think that.”

Eileen protests, “you all know me by now: I want to get everything out in the open so it doesn’t become a bigger issue. I hoped Dorit would see that I had her—and everyone’s—best interest at heart.”

Eileen expresses her frustration with Dorit not letting her talk and explain herself. “When I was reaching out to check in with Erika during this conversation, Dorit viewed that as me making her the bad guy. Being conscientious of Erika’s feelings is not mutually exclusive to me also caring about Dorit’s. But we are still getting to know each other, so I guess I get it if she felt defensive. I did attempt to clarify, but, as usual where my conversations with Dorit are concerned, she talks a lot. When do I get a chance to say something? She still does not hear me. It’s exhausting!”

On to the subject of Kim Richards. “I’m happy for all the great new beginnings in Kim’s life. But while I want the best for Kim, at Game Night it was clear she was looking for an opening to vent some unresolved feeling with Lisa R. and me.”

Eileen feels that Kim was crossing the line by accusing Rinna of being insincere, “The conversation with Dorit had nothing to do with Kim. But she took pieces from it—like Lisa R.’s father dying—and twisted them. Like accusing Lisa R. of using her dad’s passing as an excuse for her behavior? That could be valid, I guess? But it was not true! Kim crossed a line saying that. Also, Lisa R. is not a liar or a faker, and I never saw the “eye roll,” if in fact there was one. I’m thinking Kim’s looking for things that are not there. Lisa R. admitted she struck a low blow (very low BTW), and she apologized. But this should never have been discussed, to begin with. We already have enough to deal with at this table. Now we have to go back to Amsterdam? Help!”

She ends her blog with, “Despite everything, I think we all, including Lisa R., have our hearts in the right place with Kim, and always have. Even though there was an apology, I don’t know how many issues were actually resolved at Game Night. Unfortunately, that saying ‘the road to hell is paved with good intentions’ keeps bouncing around in my head. I wonder why?”
