Real Housewives of Dallas Season 2 Premieres August 14th; Meet New Housewives Kameron Westcott and D’Andra Simmons
They’re back – well most of them anyway! Bravo just announced that The Real Housewives of Dallas season 2 will kick off on Monday, August 14, 2017. Returning cast members Cary Deuber, Stephanie Hollman, LeeAnne Locken and Brandi Redmond will be joined by newcomers D’Andra Simmons and Kameron Westcott. The only former Housewife not along for the season 2 ride is Tiffany Hendra.
The press release promises boatloads of crazy as LeeAnne tries to repair her reputation and her friendships and even dabbles in some anger management. We’ll also see a strain between besties Brandi and Stephanie while Cary tries to balance home and work. We will be introduced to neighbors D’Andra and Kameron, who quickly become a part of the drama.

“Born and raised in Dallas, D’Andra Simmons is one of the crown jewels of the social scene who comes from a wealthy family and a prominent last name. Big Brother 19: Week 2 Alliance Updates
The second week inside the Big Brother 19 house has been a bit dramatic. Most of that drama has been the direct result of the majority of the house vowing to evict Cody Nickson. Once Cody showed his true colors and went against his own power alliance, the Big Brother house has been unsettled. Now it is certain that Cody will suffer the consequences for betraying his own alliance members.
This has been the week of Paul Abrahamian, as he has controlled the house in week two. As far as storylines go inside the Big Brother house, you can’t script a better series of events than what has occurred. Cody targets Paul for eviction, Paul is protected by the Pendant of Protection, and then Cody targets a second member of his own alliance for eviction (Christmas Abbott). Next Paul wins Head of Household (HOH), Paul plans to backdoor Cody for eviction this week, and we will leave it there for those of you who haven’t seen the Power of Veto results.
Paul calls the shots inside the Big Brother house, and the houseguests (HG) are sitting back and letting him.
Paul’s team, which he prefers to call “weekly deals,” has not changed much from the previous week. His predominate alliance members includes Christmas, Dominique Cooper, Mark Jansen, Elena Davies, Matthew Clines, Raven Walton, and most recently Kevin Schlehuber. Rather than Cody and showmance partner Jessica Graf calling the shots this week, they are on the outside of the Big Brother house.
Paul seems to have a special relationship with Kevin; They have even made some secret “hinky” plans for this week’s eviction vote. Kevin is working with other houseguests, like Alex Ow, who he promised to never vote for for eviction. Alex promised the same in return. Mark and Kevin affirmed their long-term deal of working together, while Mark also had the same conversation with Josh Martinez and Jason Dent.
This week, Paul also worked on building relationships in the Big Brother house with many of the “Outsiders.” He convinced Alex and Josh to become pawns to help his backdoor plan for Cody. In addition, he convinced Ramses Soto to use his curse, and become the third nominee on the block for eviction. Ramses pushed Paul’s button when he tried to win the Power of Veto (POV), which would have spoiled Paul’s plan to backdoor Cody.
Jason just wonders around the Big Brother house really not knowing what to do with himself. He is completely convinced that Kevin could not have possibly flipped on the last eviction vote. Although others have told him otherwise. Jason even approached Paul on how to form an alliance in the Big Brother house with no luck. Paul simply told him that he doesn’t like to form alliances but prefers weekly “deals” instead.
Cody and Jessica are most definitely the outcasts at the moment. They have completely isolated themselves from the rest of the Big Brother house. Cody is well aware of his imminent demise, but he holds out hope for a Battle Back opportunity to bring him back into the game.
On of the most surprising revelations this week was made by Mark. He confessed to Dominique that he’s worried about his showmance situation with Elena and how it could negatively hinder his Big Brother game. Mark revealed to Dominique that he feels Elena is being fake and would only like to keep her around until jury starts: Mark wants Elena out of the house to protect his chances of winning Big Brother 19.
This has been Paul’s week as far as controlling HGs and competition wins. He played the perfect game to see his nemesis, Cody, evicted this week. However, anything can happen inside the Big Brother house. Stay tuned to find out if Paul’s power this week plays out as expected, or if the “unexpected” happens, and Cody is spared from eviction.

Vicki Gunvalson Thinks That Tamra Judge & Shannon Beador Bully Her
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12 premiere reminded us all that it’s Vicki Gunvalson’s world and we’re all just living in it. Everything on this show revolves around Vicki. Shannon Beador even had the nerve to blame Vicki for her weight gain, which is absurd. Needless to say, it looks like this season will be a battle of Vicki and Kelly Dodd vs. Shannon and Tamra Judge.
The first episode was full of shit talking, and of course everyone is trying to get the fandom on their side with their Bravo blog posts.
Vicki’s first blog of the season started out nice enough. She wrote, “As you can see, Lydia [McLaughlin] is back and she has been a breath of fresh air for me. The last few seasons had gotten so dark, so angry, and so hard for me to be a part of, that it’s nice to kind of start on a happy note for once.” Hopefully Lydia doesn’t turn her “friendship whisperer” shtick into an excuse for shit stirring. She randomly returned to this show and it’s clear she didn’t keep in touch with Tamra or Vicki, so she really has no idea what she’s getting herself into by trying to mend their relationship.
Vicki stated the obvious: “It has been a while since I talked with Tamra or Shannon. Actually, it had been since last year’s reunion.” She continued, “I knew starting this season was going to be awkward and difficult, but I’m not going to allow them to bully me any longer and to make accusations that just aren’t truthful.” Says the woman who spread rumors about other people’s husbands’ alleged abuse and homosexuality. Still Vicki says, “I am hopeful that we can all be friends again, because life is easier that way. Having all this conflict is not healthy for any of us.” But it’s good for the ratings, so carry on.
Vicki had even more to say about Shannon. She wrote, “I feel sorry for her sadness. I don’t know if Shannon and I will ever be friends again like we were, but I am hopeful. I care about her and hate to see her so sad. We have never had an opportunity to sit down to discuss things calmly and I believe if we did do so, the past may be able to be left in the past and we can move on. I hope one day we can.”As strange as that sounds, anything is possible on this show. For all we know, the alliances can shift and Vicki and Shannon could be battling it out with Kelly and Tamra. That’s pretty doubtful based on the past seasons and recent social media posts from them all, but you just never know what to expect with these women.

Bethenny Frankel Wants More Diversity On Real Housewives Of New York
For the most part, the Real Housewives of New York cast is full of dynamic characters. No matter what you think about Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley, you have to admit that they really bring it as cast members. Excluding some people from that list is my subtle way of saying who the boring ones are. Why are they on the cast when there are so many viable candidates in New York City?
Even Bethenny herself wants a more diverse cast. The part about some people being boring was just my own personal commentary, but my point is that there are is definitely some dead weight on this show and that in combination with Bethenny’s wish for diversity can go hand in hand. Andy Cohen, are you listening? Drop those other two and spice up the show.
In an interview with Parade, Bethenny shared her ideas for improving Real Housewives of New York. She thinks that it would be a great idea to switch up the cast and revealed, “I would like to see some younger cast members. I’d like to see an African American woman on the show. I suggested someone who didn’t work out.”
She continued, “There are really no Jewish women in the cast. There are also no Asian, Latino or gay women on the show. I’d like it to represent New York more.” Makes sense to me. I have to assume that there are dynamic women in this social circle who can add more diversity to round out this cast and make the show more relatable to the viewers.

Kenya Moore Shares First Post-Wedding Photo With Husband Marc Daly
This Kenya Moore marriage mystery is still going on. She is milking this situation for all that she possibly can. From secretly getting married outside of the country, to not revealing Marc Daly’s name immediately, every teeny bit of information is getting released piece by piece. As annoying as it is, she has the fans (and haters) captivated.
Now, the question is whether or not this dude will appear on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Apparently he has no interest in being on reality television, but how is Kenya going to stay with a man who won’t be on a show about her life? That is the real question these days. Unfortunately, I have no insight about who will appear on the next RHOA season. All I have to work with is social media and Marc just made a big appearance on Kenya’s Instagram account.
Kenya finally posted a photo of her and her husband on Instagram- that wasn’t from a million yards away from their wedding day. She’s taking baby steps when it comes to exposing Marc to her world. Sure, she posted this photo, but she did disable the comments again like she did with the wedding photos. So maybe she’s nervous about the reception from the Instagram trolls?
She captioned the photo with “#baeday” and we still know pretty much nothing about this relationship or Kenya’s relationship or her status as a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member. All I know is what I’ve always known which is that Kenya knows how to work the media and she knows exactly what she’s doing when it comes to sharing bits and pieces of this relationship at a gradual pace.

Big Brother 19: Who Will Win the Den of Temptation’s Halting Hex?
The Big Brother 19 Den of Temptation helped create one of the most jaw dropping opening weeks of Big Brother. The week might have still produced an exciting outcome with another blindside eviction, but the Pendant of Protection helped make it a well-rounded week, with many layers of fun.
Early in the Big Brother 2017 season, a leak exposed the powers of the Ring of Replacement and the Halting Hex. We knew the Ring would not create as much excitement as the Hex.
On Sunday’s episode, Christmas Abbott won the Ring, and she hasn’t used it yet. And we don’t expect her to activate the ring anytime soon: Christmas is in the majority alliance, so she shouldn’t become a target anytime soon.
During Sunday’s episode, CBS announced that the poll had opened for fans to vote on who to temp with the Halting Hex. This Den of Temptation reward allows one player to cancel one of the next four evictions (the four following the upcoming one on Thursday). A Big Brother houseguest can cancel the eviction whether he or she is on the block or not.
Last week Christmas led all the fan polls, but Alex Ow was a close second. We expected Christmas to eventually get the Ring of Replacement, especially with the casual fan vote bump on Wednesday and Thursday night. We don’t think Alex’s fandom has gone down in a week. If anything, she has probably become even more popular.
According to the Big Brother Network’s poll, Alex will win the Halting Hex. Kevin Schlehuber is a distant second place, followed by Matthew Clines and Mark Jansen. We don’t expect the casual fans to vote for Mark or Matthew, so this may all come down to an Alex Vs. Kevin battle. However, we expect Alex to win this vote by a landslide.
The only real opposition may come from #TeamFunFeeds, #TeamDominique, or #TeamRamses. Some people are campaigning for Jessica Graf to get this power. Once Cody leaves, she is the Big Brother 19 houseguest most in jeopardy of eviction. Therefore many fans have been rooting for her to stay in the house just to keep the drama in it.
Dominique Cooper has a lot of fans, and they’re a little worried that someone on the outsider side will strike at her first. Yes, even before Paul Abrahamian and the showmances. They want to give her the Hex to ensure her safety.
Big Brother 19 fans want to root for Ramses Soto because they are tired of Paul and crew (and even some outsiders) treating him with such disregard. The desperate Ramses needs a miracle. The Halting Hex could be it.
The Live Feed Correspondants on Rob Has a Podcast speculated that the Battle Back might relate to the Halting Hex. Maybe, once a player takes the Halting Hex, it activates the Battle Back. This would explain why the voting lasts until July 19, because the Battle Back then (possibly) start airing on July 21.
The houseguests have speculated that there will only be three Den of Temptation prizes and curses. However, CBS never told fans how long this Big Brother 2017 twist lasts. In the off chance that this is the last Den of Temptation, make sure you don’t forget to vote for this very critical prize. It could save your favorite from being evicted from the Big Brother 19 house.

Even though her team has moved on with Cheryl Burke as their coach, she still has one big scene to film for the show that put her in the limelight. Yes, the Lifetime cameras will actually be present when Abby turns herself in.
According to Daily Mail, Abby’s one year and one day prison sentence will take place the FCI Victorville facility in Victorville, California and that she will have two years of probation after she is released.
Instead of laying low for the past few days, Abby spoke to Entertainment Tonight. She said, “Right now I just kind of want to enjoy some laughter and some fun.” She added, “I have some friends coming out from Pittsburgh that have been with me through thick and thin for 20 years before the TV show, so they’re gonna come out and we’re just gonna maybe reminisce and laugh about the old times and talk about everyone we know and who might have all that money. The ET article also said that Lifetime cameras will be present when she starts her prison sentence. Abby claimed, “It wasn’t important to me, it was important to them. I signed a four year contract.” Right. Abby doesn’t seem to be into the attention at all.

A Confrontational Veto
All week, Josh Martinez talked about making a speech during the Power of Veto ceremony. He wanted to call out Cody Nickson and Jessica. Sometimes Josh is more talk than action, so no one was quite sure if he would do it. However, after Paul took him off the block and put Cody in his place, Josh stood up and gave a speech.
Once his speech ended, Jessica went on defense mode. The Big Brother 19 Live Feeds returned to Jessica and Josh arguing because of what he said to them. Eventually, the arguing stopped, but then talk turned to Cody and Jessica complaining about Josh, and people commenting on how his speech was too much. Cody told Jessica (and eventually Josh) that he would ruin Josh’s reputation outside of the Big Brother 2017 house.
Josh found Cody’s threats amusing.
An Attempt at Redemption
With Cody halfway out the door, Jessica decided to try to make amends with Christmas. Once Christmas returned from her doctor’s appointment, the two had a discussion about their issues with each other. They left this conversation with a plan to act nicer to each other.
That sounds good and all, but we don’t buy it. Christmas spent quite a bit of time dissing Jessica with her fellow houseguests. She even said that Jessica’s apology wasn’t good enough. Despite the animosity that still exists, Jessica’s target seems to get lower every day.
On Monday, most of the game discussion revolved around Ramses Soto being the next target. Many of the players on Paul’s side mentioned wanting to go after him before Jessica. Ramses and her are both still on the target list but Ramses way more than Jessica now.
A Christmas Update
Christmas took some time out of the Big Brother 19 house to visit a doctor about her foot. Originally, Christmas had her surgery scheduled for Monday, but now it has moved to Wednesday. She told the houseguests that it will lasts for 4 to 6 hours, and then Christmas plans to return to the Big Brother 2017 game on Thursday afternoon.
Her doctor told her that after the surgery she will be in a lot of pain, but it should start to decrease. Despite Christmas’ optimism about her return to the Big Brother 19 game, we’re not too sure about Christmas’ game fate. The doctor may advise her to leave early if the pain is too great, or CBS may feel that letting her continue in the house could become a liability.
As always, we shall keep you updated on any changes in Christmas’ condition.
A Hinky Vote Plan
Post-Veto ceremony, Paul pulled Kevin Schlehuber into the Head of Household room. He told him that he wanted him to place a vote on Ramses. Paul wants to create paranoia with the house seeing that not everyone (minus Jessica) voted Cody out. Kevin looked a little worried about Paul’s plan, but agreed to do it.
Later, Paul revealed that the real intentions behind the hinky vote is to set Jason Dent up for an even bigger fall. Everyone is already still suspicious of him, and now with the one odd vote, no one on Paul’s side will trust Jason at all. We now see him becoming an even bigger target than Jessica too.
However, Alex Ow seems to have integrated herself within the Paul alliance. She’s trying to coach Jason how to get into it as well. He seems to ignore her advice, but she might make enough of a connection with Paul’s team to keep Jason protected a bit longer.
Dominique’s Birthday
Dominique celebrated her birthday, which is today. That meant Raven Walton made her a cake, the houseguests received treats, etc. Most players helped Dominique celebrate it with the usual strip teases, laughing, and fun. Everyone seems to be loosening up some, and not letting the game drive them insane.

Last night was a big night for Bravo viewers. Real Housewives of Orange County returned for its twelfth season and part one of the Southern Charm reunion aired. That’s why it made so much sense for Tamra Judge and Shep Rose to stop by the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse to talk with Andy Cohen.
Of course that included Tamra throwing shade at Vicki Gunvalson and Shep showcasing his extensive vocabulary.
Every Bravo fanatic knows that Tamra and Shep are not ones to hold back so the episode did not disappoint. When asked if he ever had sex with Landon Clements, Shep very adamantly stated, “No, we made out.” Good to know.
Tamra was asked about the shade Vicki threw at her business by saying the CUT Fitness parking lot is always empty. Tamra shaded her right back by saying, “Clearly Vicki hasn’t been in the parking lot of a gym in a long time, so she wouldn’t know if it was full or not.”
After watching a clip of Lydia McLaughlin meeting Shannon Beador (and questioning her about Vicki), Tamra said, “I don’t think that Shannon was yelling at her. Multiple times we told Lydia we don’t want to talk about it.” She didn’t stop there though. Tamra explained, “Shannon just met Lydia and she was throwing Vicki in her face and to say ‘You’re just like Vicki’ is like saying ‘You’re just like the devil’ to Shannon.”
Andy said what we were all thinking about Tamra’s appearance: “Talk to me about what’s happening with your face right now.” Tamra said, “It’s my ten year anniversary” referring to her ten years as a Real Housewife. She then admitted, “I had my neck and lower face done fifteen days ago.” Yes, she had a face lift just two weeks ago, but Tamra made it clear that she is not a fan of that terminology when she declared, “Don’t call it a face lift. Call it a comeback.” In weird somewhat related news, Tamra added, “Shannon had foreskin put on her face” for some sort of cosmetic procedure. Wait. What? I would love a clarification on that one, Shannon.
A caller tried to instigate Shep by asking, “What did you think of Landon’s fake tears at the reunion?” Shep didn’t fall for that though. He said, “I think Landon actually feels empathy or sympathy for Kathryn [Dennis]– in that moment she did.” Still, he couldn’t help saying, “They make truce all the time- are they real though? Do they really feel that way or are they trying to ameliorate the situation?” Or maybe Landon was just trying to save face after a rough season and hate from the viewers?
When asked about her relationship with Vicki (again), Tamra shared the strangest anecdote, “Vicki and I aren’t on speaking terms although she did text me not too long ago about the placement of our Bravo gallery. She thought that it was wrong that her and I were sitting down and Shannon and Meghan [Edmonds] were standing up.” What does that even mean? If anything I figured Vicki would come at Tamra for being in the center during the introduction sequence where they all hold oranges.

Southern Charm Reunion Recap: More Hanky Panky
The Southern Charm reunions have certainly come a long way from those initial clubhouse sessions, but do we ever get to hear exactly what we’re hoping to hear? It’s usually just one giant tease, but at least we got our fair share of veiled threats and backhanded accusations on last night’s first installment with less screaming, for once. Andy Cohen begins by congratulating Craig Conover on passing the bar. He compliments the fierceness of Kathryn Dennis‘ hair (RIP bump-its and bad extensions, thank goodness) while refraining from comment on her busted Scarlett O’Hara knock-off. Andy is happy to learn that Shep Rose has escaped the lingering enzyme, Thomas Ravenel loves being Mr. Mom (when he makes it out to the guest house), and Cameran Eubanks is glowing with a baby girl due in November. Mentioning Cam could name her daughter Landon, Andy basically skips over Landon Clements before announcing newbie Austen Kroll (Shep 2.0) has a nice ass.
The evening begins with some jovial Craig bashing as Shep teases him about being a jealous, lying wannabe mediator with no game whatsoever (so I’m paraphrasing). Craig cites quality over quantity when it comes to past hook-ups after Shep jokes that Craig sleeps in the bed with girls without even trying anything. Craig correctly reminds Shep that being respectful is far better than Shep’s nightly kiss-and-tells. Focusing more on the embroidery king, the jabs at Craig’s domesticity abound save for Cameran gushing about the onesie he created. Craig is a hobbyist, and he sits quietly as his friends tease him about going into gardening law. Shep jokes that Craig’s long-winded responses would make him a fortune as an attorney who is paid by the hour.
When Shep’s mean-spirited attitude is brought to light, Shep defends his behavior towards Craig, stating he was just being brotherly. Poor Craig mumbles under his breath as his friends gang up on him with Shep in the lead. Shep calls out Craig for being an easy target, and he’s got a swift ally in T-Rav. Cameran tries to explain that Craig doesn’t deserve all the criticism. He’s just a girly drama queen. That makes it better, right? As Craig sinks deeper into the couch, Andy inquires if Naomie Olindo’s Craig criticism was particularly hard on Craig, Shep interrupts to say he’d love a woman who challenged him instead of placating him. Craig can’t catch a break, so he just sits sullenly. At least he’s not mediating…yet. Naomie joins Craig on the sofa, and she cringes when remembering their early flirtation. Craig laid it on thick in the beginning, but he won Naomie over with his persistence.
Craig is teased for choosing cheese over oral sex. He ties the choice to a question posed in a fascinating college women’s studies class. As his crew balks over the thought of dairy over dirty, but it may be the one thing on which both Craig and Naomie agree. They both love cheese. Plus, Craig isn’t talking about regular sex. He’s not giving that up for Brie. The couple’s trials from this season are highlighted, and Craig still feels burned by the feeling that Naomie chose his friends over him when it came to dissing their relationship.
Shep counters Craig values secrecy over loyalty. Naomie wasn’t being disloyal by venting to their mutual friends, but Craig required an absolute bar on any bad mouthing of their issues. Speaking of bars, Naomie admits Craig came clean to her about his bar application, but she didn’t lie for him. Instead, she withheld information when interrogated. One of the pair’s biggest disputes has been over their differing views of loyalty. Craig wants a ride or die partner, but Naomie wonders, “Where are we riding and why do we have to die?”
Naomie doesn’t regret airing their grievances because they aren’t just a beautiful couple in a perfectly filtered Instagram photo. Andy praises Kathryn’s advice when she suggested Naomie be more supportive of Craig. Kathryn recognized the mistakes she’d made in her tumultuous romance with Thomas, and she hated to see Naomie and Craig following in their footsteps (on a much smaller scale, of course!). She recalls a lot of folks reveling in her dysfunction with T-Rav with a pointed stare at Landon. Kathryn discusses wanting to share her negative experience in hopes of steering Naomie in a different direction. Craig and Naomie admit to hitting rock bottom weeks before the reunion but many months after filming ended. They say they are falling back in love and getting back to basics by dating again. I guess the worst really was yet to come after the show’s finale.
Andy introduces Austen as Shep’s protege, but Austen counters that he’s a hopeless romantic, not a helpless romantic like Shep. Ouch. He elaborates that he’s softer, kinder, and goes after a girl if he’s interested. Shep seems mildly peeved by Austen’s statements, but according to T-Rav, Shep is suffering from ABC, a contagious condition he clearly caught from too much time spent with Thomas and Whitney Sudler-Smith. Before Thomas can explain the acronym, Kathryn huffs it’s “Aging Bachelor Condition” which is a pretty spot-on diagnosis. Andy continues to focus on Austen, sharing how Austen’s story about his sister’s death was one of the more emotional moments of the season. Austen hadn’t planned to be so vulnerable on camera, and he was overwhelmed by the positive response he got from fans sharing similar stories. I don’t care about the naysayers, I think Austen is adorable. A fan jokes that Austen is like the girl in his relationship with Chelsea Meissner, and Cameran takes a great deal of joy in Austen’s ability to court her friend and go all in with her friend. Eye rolls abound as everyone on stage reminds Cameran that she forced Shep on her friend despite Austen’s chivalry. Pregnancy brain is real, y’all!
Asked if Austen’s beer hocking is through the roof due to the show’s disclosure, but Austen alludes to a not-so-amicable split between he and his former employer. Apparently, the distributor wanted to transfer Austen to the Savannah territory (perhaps to revive that pathetic spin-off?), and Austen was like, oh, hell nah. If you didn’t know, I’m famous now. Never one to miss a branding opportunity (Bravo’s RelationShep is coming soon!), Shep contemplates a beer business outside of the bar scene. Shepervescence has a great ring to it, doesn’t it? That’s natural segue to Shep’s worrisome drinking situation, and Shep shares he’s moving to the beach where bars close earlier and the lifestyle is slower. Thomas interjects that what Shep loses with an earlier bed time he makes up for with the beach day drinking. Shep explains that when he lived downtown he was two blocks from both his bars, and he was hosting all-nighters. At least this is a slower pace in what Shep calls a major drinking town (he’s correct). Cameran asserts that it’s not just the sheer volume of Shep’s alcohol consumption, it’s his transformation to a more aggressive and angry personality. Craig agrees, stating he believes Shep accuses others of having his own perceived insecurities. Kathryn seconds this assertion.
Kathryn’s sobriety takes center stage, and she claims to have been sober for the last eight months, despite fake news declaring the opposite. She tells Andy that she basically went straight to rehab after filming last year’s reunion. As Kathryn talks, Landon smirks and rolls her eyes before Kathryn accuses her of leaking her failed drug test. Landon lashes out that she’d read the news on the Internet, which Andy also remembers. However, Kathryn calls Landon a liar to which Landon retorts, “I can do what I want and say what I want” like a broken record. Landon shrieks, and Kathryn keeps her cool. Andy interrupts to inquire as to why Kathryn ordered a margarita while in Key West. Kathryn proudly announces that she didn’t drink a sip…not that it mattered as her sobriety was just for marijuana. Every single one of her co-stars averts their eyes at this admission. Sure, just weed, they all seem to be thinking sarcastically.
Kathryn’s in tears about her photo shoot with Kensie because she’s realized that her televised rock bottom is going to affect her babies. She recognizes the time she’s lost and the explanations she’s going to have to give in the future. Kathryn lets loose with the water works while spouting buzz words like “journey” and “accountability.” She doesn’t have a large support system, and she has very few folks in her circle of trust. While she’s a much more tempered and seemingly mature version of herself than season’s past, she appears extremely aware of what needs to be said to sound like she’s in a better place. Of course, she clearly is in a cleaner, stronger person, but there is a cunning edge to her. Not quite as seasoned as how to garner sympathy, Landon sees Kathryn crying and does her best to squeeze out a tear while faux sobbing about how lonely Kathryn must feel and how sad it is to hear of her struggles. It’s not quite as sincere with nary a true teardrop and the fact Landon’s only other words of the evening were ripping Kathryn to shreds.
Taking a page from the last reunion’s playlist, Craig offers Kathryn his fancy ascot to Thomas’ approving nod. He’s a quick study. Kathryn maintains that she has no issue with alcohol dependency, but she has since gone completely sober to silence her detractors. In an instance of what seems like true kindness, T-Rav does defend Kathryn’s insistence that alcohol isn’t her issue. He announces that he had a higher blood-alcohol level in any of the duo’s court ordered tests. Jennifer Snowden pulls up a chair, and she shares the incredible news that her nine-month old is hitting all the milestones that doctor’s didn’t expect him to initially hit. If Kathryn wants to perpetuate support for her declarations of growth, she needs to practice her empathy face when her nemesis is discussing her newborn baby’s terrifying health scares.
Handkerchief-gate is revisited, and Kathryn whines about being hurt due to what she believed was a shift in loyalty. She had no problem with Thomas’ act of chivalry in the moment, but she felt betrayed by her former beau who used to verbally annihilate her one-time bestie. Thomas gives a heartfelt speech about Jennifer’s character and strength with her baby’s diagnosis as Kathryn sits seething. She really needs more self-awareness about her resting bitch face, but hey, it’s another similarity for bonding with Landon!
Kathryn accuses Jennifer of lying under oath when she was subpoenaed to testify in the embroiled custody case still brewing between Kathryn and T-Rav. When Jennifer attempts to defend herself, Kathryn talks over her, stating they aren’t supposed to be discussing the legal battle. Jennifer snaps back that she’s not under the couple’s gag order, so she can say what she wants. There is a great deal of back and forth over Jennifer not being entirely truthful on the stand, especially after she was privy to some much of the couple’s first hand drama when she was Kathryn’s best friend. Why is she now praising T-Rav’s daddy skills? Jennifer wonders why Kathryn’s lawyer didn’t ask better questions on his cross-examination, but Kathryn spits that she’d already discredited herself so what was the point? When Andy asks about Kathryn perpetuating a rumor regarding the paternity of Jennifer’s baby, she plays coy and engages in a great deal of double talk. Of course she did! Kathryn offers an insincere apology (her staple) before shrugging off the fact she can’t say for certain that Jennifer’s baby wasn’t fathered by T-Rav. This obvious falsehood bristles Thomas, and he struggles to maintain his composure as he threatens Kathryn with what would happen if the court proceedings were no longer sealed.
At the end of round one, Craig held his tongue more than one would have expected, Kathryn kept to the script that somewhat redeemed her past reunion antics, and Thomas seemed the most even-keeled of the lot (save for a beautiful, glowing, quieter than normal Cameran and Austen’s aw, shucks charm).

Littering the sands with shards of shattered friendships, filthy accusations, and broken down dignities; a bent halo, some empty vodka and champs bottles, and Shannon Beador‘s former self, now soaked and waterlogged by the hours of tears she’s spilled over the terrible lies Vicki Gunvalson told. The fate of the world, and the Orange County coastline — along with the safety and health of Briana’s children – all rests in Vicki’s handbag! Thankfully she’s not crazy or anything…
So the taglines: let’s start there. What makes Tamra Judge “highly prized”? Or was she just proud of herself for coming up with a rhyme. Hook’d on Phonics worked for her! Vicki’s tagline informs us that she’s not going home, but what she means is that this show is her home, and you are not going to drop any interloping houses on her head! She clicked her ruby slippers together three times and dragged Briana from the land of tornadoes to get here.
The show opens, split-screen and comic book style, with a montage of the ladies lives. Kelly Dodd visits Vicki at Coto Insurance dressed like a middle-aged stripper whose schtick is punk rock school girl. Spying Vicki’s elderly secretary’s long purple nails, Kelly wonders how she’s able to wipe her butt? Across town Tamra is playing glam’ma when she’s assaulted by the smell of poop. And Shannon’s dog is so desperate to escape her he races down a steep hill onto a busy road. Archie and David are sharing a brain!

Shannon blames her weight gain on Vicki-induced Stress and for some reason insurance doesn’t cover that. So Shannon is forced to drink “Crazy Skinny Juice” and complain to her daughters. Stella suggests that Shannon hire Khloe Kardashian‘s Revenge Body trainer. When David doesn’t leap for joy and kiss Shannon’s feet over quinoa, she sulks and whines. David doesn’t love Shannon’s quinoa which means David doesn’t love her! Honestly, quinoa tastes like muck and is like the food equivalent of dealing with Shannon’s needy whining.
Shannon admits that despite the vow renewal things are rocky in Beador paradise. Who would’ve thunk it???? I think it’s because Shannon no longer has that bowl of 9 lemons on her table!
So Shannon, who wants nothing to do with Vicki, like ever again, is giving her enemy full power over her weight! Did Vicki use Jedi Mind Tricks to force Shannon to emotionally eat and drink? Dr. Moon can’t do any like reverse reiki chi treatments to cleanse Shannon’s auras from the evil that lurks inside her freezer and calls itself ice cream, but tastes like the congealed horror of Vicki’s soul? Saton is confusing – he’s so good, yet so bad.
While hating Vicki made Shannon turn closer to processed sugar, Tamra turned closer to Jesus. It might work this time because Tamra is attending bible study hosted by Lydia McLaughlin – our old pal Jesus Skipper. Tamra arrives at Lydia’s in her skintight jeans and plunging cleavage to a room full of women wearing sweet sweater sets. We ain’t in Alexis‘ church anymore, Toto!
At Lydia’s beautiful home, Tamra reveals that she has only been invited to view Heather’s mansion on Instagram, which is actually closer than she is to Vicki’s life. Lydia is shocked – TamRicki were so close! How could Vicki rain on the fun parade by claiming Eddie is gay?! Lydia, our manic pixie rainbow sprite, makes it her mission to CareBear stare TamRicki back together again. Fix it Jesus, right, and if that doesn’t work – how about lunch? Oh Lydia – so sweet, so adult, so normal – she decides to call Vicki and arrange said lunch, although Tamra has to consult her Jesus Crystal Ball before she attends.
The Bible study topic is being abandoned by God. Tamra has plenty of experience with that – one experience is named Kelly, and Tamra has been praying for her. Somehow I don’t think Kelly wants that consolation prize! What Tamra is really praying for, however, is a resolution with her daughter Sidney. We know that has since happened, so to quote Lydia, “Yay!” And after the successful bible study, Tamra excitedly realizes that Lydia is the first adult friend she’s ever had!
But seriously, who else was hoping Alexis Bellino would burst through the door of this prayer circle shouting, “I’m Jesus Barbie – ME!”
On the topic of expanding, Coto Insurance is doing just that! Vicki is moving into a bigger, better office which will no longer face the empty CUT Fitness parking lot and the empty, starving eyes of Tamra’s fitness competition abs. Kelly and Vick do what they do best – trash talking and taking zero accountability. I kinda love it though – delusion can be entertaining.
Last season Vicki was supportive of Tamra’s body renewal by Jesus, but this season she is disgusted by the “testosterone psycho” who spat in her face in Ireland. Kelly declares that Tamra and Shannon owe Vicki an apology. Screw apologies – Vindication is Vicktim’s, because Shannon and Tamra without Heather Dubrow are Shannon and Tamra The Wicked Stepsisters! “They’re not the popular girls, we’re the popular girls” crows Vicki, trying to live out her high school fantasies. Were they reading from a script left over from one of Heather’s failed acting projects titled Heathers 2: The High School Haters Return?
And finally Meghan King Edmonds – all is right and well in the land of Dad Jeans. “A lot has happened in the last few months: I’ve gotten a puppy… and had a baby!” announces Meghan gleefully. Meghan gushes that Aspen is a beautiful baby – a which is a blessing because Jimmy is not a beautiful baby although he frequently does act like one, and Meghan loves spending all her time dressing her “little dolly” up and teaching her daughter the important lessons in life: “Beauty is pain,” so squeeze on those baby moccasins and look Instagram cute! Speaking of looking cute – “THANK GOD” – Meghan lost the baby weight like immediately. Somewhere I think Shannon is shoving a voodoo doll of Meghan’s chopstick body full of pins…
So, with all her priorities firmly in tact, Meghan has found her happy and is ready to take lots of naps – then take on the awful harridans of the RHOC. I could see her and Lydia making a good team.
In more Vicki news, she and Steve Lodge are still going strong. He comes over for dinner and Vicki is actually wearing a cute (flattering) shirt for once. Then she marks her territory by spilling salsa all over Steve!
Steve, is a normal man who does not fake terminal illness and or compile spreadsheets of cheesy Hallmark card quotes. In fact, even Briana likes him! Vicki admits that in the past she has “made some wrong decisions when it came for love” like marrying her first husband for his nice car and great ass. Or dating a “bad boy.” Oh is that what we’re calling cancer defrauders this day? Is Vicki dating Steve because the ex-detective is her get out jail free card? Unfortunately for all the amazing things Steve is, Vicki admits she still misses Brooks, and his untrustworthy ass. Vicki needs Celebrity Rehab.
Briana even wants Vicki to marry Steve so she’ll leave Briana alone and have someone to take care of her in her old age. Vicki thinks she may want to, but polygamy is illegal and she’s currently Briana’s “OC husband” while Ryan is still living in another state?!
Over at Kelly’s, her mom spends so much time around Kelly and Michael she’s taken a vow of celibacy. Kelly on the other hand is doing a little “required maintenance” on her vagina with some rejuvenation in the hopes it will make her love Michael again. It won’t. It’s still the same vagina, honey, and he’s still the same man!
At CUT Fitness, Tamra is working out alone while wearing her personal mantra on a t-shirt: “One blessed hot mess.” Eddie comes over to check on her squats, and Phew! Eddie still isn’t gay! He’s also not a fan of Tamra reconnecting with Vicki – even under Lydia’s guidance. Tamra is tired of Eddie running the show at CUT Fitness. She wants to make some major decor changes. See, proof Eddie isn’t gay – no gay man would like a mural that ugly!
Spending her days wrangling unruly children has prepared Lydia for reunifying TamRicki. Lydia likes her kids a lot better when she’s not with them. She pines all day to see them, but the second she walks in the door is ready to escape again. Why do I feel like that’s also a metaphor for her feelings about RHOC?
Lydia not only has three kids, but her mom Judy is legally able to smoke pot and her consumption has gone “next level” so bye-bye babysitter! Although Lydia like totes fairy sparkle loves her kids, they totally harsh her flow, and teaching her middle child, Maverick aged 5, to ride a bike has tested her patience. Maybe God abandoned her? Luckily, McLaughlins don’t give up, so if you fall off the bike, you don’t decide to ride a Cadillac golf cart everywhere you go instead, you get back on and pedal off into the sunset (and get a Lego). In other Lydia-land developments, they’ve moved to Newport to a family-friendly community, and renewed their vows on the beach. Lydia + Doug Forever!
Not all parenthood sucks – sometimes there is shopping instead of superheros and farts! (but if you want to avoid the potty humor, leave Tamra at home). Tamra and her niece meet Shannon and Sophie to find formal dresses. Shannon vetoes everything Sophie tries on as too revealing, then plops down onto a chair like Miss Muppet to complain to about how much she hates dieting and exercising. It’s not fair – can’t she just belt a crystal to her stomach or make Vicki spontaneously combust? To motivate her weight loss Shannon refuses to buy “fat clothes,” and instead purchases skinny clothes for the size she plans to be again. I’m not sure reverse Feng Shui of the wardrobe works, but maybe Shannon plans to fill her fridge and pantry with said ‘goal wardrobe’ to stop her from eating junk?

Tamra knows what’s really wrong, though, – Shannon’s weight gain isn’t because of Vicki, it’s because “she’s still hurting because of the affair.” I agree – Shannon projects everything she can’t say to or feel about David to avoid upsetting their fragile balance onto Vicki, then internalizes it. When did Tamra become a guru? She’s praying for people, reading their souls, blah, blah, blah… didn’t she get the memo that Lydia is the “friendship whisperer”?
Speaking of… Lydia meets Vicki for a drink with plans to sprinkle a little stardust into her bleu cheese martini and magically make Vicki love Tamra again. They’re soul-sistas! It was obviously meant to be because Lydia and Vicki meet at the hotel where Tamra got baptized (and Vicki compared herself to Jesus, or was it Satan? Who is confusing…).
Vicki immediately bursts Lydia’s bubble by saying she no longer loves Tamra after Tamra called her a “con woman” among other truisms hurtful. Vicki insists she’s being bullied by Tamra and Shannon, and demands an apology. Suddenly Lydia realizes she has bitten off more than she can chew and starts worrying that her healing happiness potion can’t cure what ails TamRicki. McLaughlins never quit, though so… Maybe Lydia should start selling a juice that makes people happy. I bet Vicki has a contact!
