Madonna Calls Out Andy Cohen During Brooklyn Show, Andy Responds

Despite releasing her first album 40 years ago, Madonna is still relevant today. Many critics and social commentators hail her as one of the greatest artists of all time, if only for her cultural impact. She made a splash in the 80s and 90s, and the ripples are visible up to the present.

As such, the singer has no shortage of fans, as demonstrated by the turnouts to her recent shows. Madonna has been taking the world by storm with The Celebration Tour, a retrospective show looking back on her hits rather than focusing on new material. Though perhaps she could do better at hitting the stage on time…

On Saturday, December 16, Madonna performed at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Among the many fans was Andy Cohen. The Watch What Happens Live host screamed to his heart’s content and didn’t go unnoticed, at one point being singled out by the superstar.

During the show, Madonna asked her audience, “How f*cking lucky am I?” She then pointed the mic directly at the Bravo host, asking, “How f*cking lucky am I, Andy?” She went on, “If you say one more bad thing about me on your show, I’m gonna – I’m gonna – you’re gonna be in so much trouble. You little troublemaking queen.”

As expected, Andy loved being called out. He posted the clip on his Instagram, writing in the caption, “I’m a life-long Madonna fan, so it’s a thrill and an honor to be called a ‘troublemaking queen’ by the Queen of Troublemaking. I BOW! Also – go see the new tour. It blew me away!! What a great night. Can’t wait to go back. #TroublemakingQueen.”

On the post’s second slide, Andy also shared a short compilation of each time he awarded Madonna with his “Mazel of the Day” on WWHL. The first clip went back to 2012 as Andy referenced Madonna’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. Another clip was from 2015 when Andy referenced the Queen of Pop’s fall at the BRIT Awards.

RHOP Season 8 Midseason Trailer: ‘You Do Not Want Peace’

The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 midseason trailer is here, and the ladies aren’t holding anything back. For major Housewives fans, buckle up because the remaining batch of episodes will feature Bravo favorites Gizelle Bryant, Mia Thornton, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Robyn Dixon, Wendy Osefo, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, and newbie Nneka Ihim going at it about their strained relationships and dysfunctional group dynamic.

The sneak peek shows the continuation of Wendy and Nneka’s rocky relationship. “You do not want peace,” Wendy said to her fellow Nigerian castmate before exiting a restaurant where the two were having lunch. “No, you don’t want peace,” Nneka fired back.

It didn’t stop there, though. These two have been arguing about shrines and witchcraft since the beginning of the season. And during the second half, Wendy shares a message that’s seemingly on brand with Nneka’s claims. “If you want to go low, then let’s go to hell,” she said during an intense showdown. Gordon eats Mia up in the RHOP Season 8 midseason trailer

The midseason trailer also shows the downfall of Mia and Gordon Thornton’s marriage. The RHOP star confirmed their separation in early 2023, saying their marriage “had its ups and downs.” At some point while filming the new season, Gordon told Mia he was “done” with their relationship, to which she said, “Gordon, that’s not fair.”

“You want fair, [then] go to a carnival,” he said. Oh? Is that a read, G?

Another bumpy relationship we’ll be watching play out during the second half of Season 8 is Robyn and Juan Dixon’s. They haven’t been shy about hiding their struggles, and based on how the last episode ended, we’re in for a lot more when Potomac returns in the new year.

While out for massages in the teaser, Robyn asked Juan if they could “spend more time with each other.” After repeating herself, she realized her former NBA husband had fallen asleep. Ouch.

The rest of the trailer showed Gizelle preparing to send her daughter off to college, Candiace deciding she wants a child while balancing her busy schedule, and Ashley’s divorce journey with Michael Darby.

The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 returns on January 7 at 8/7c.
