In the cast shakeup heard around the world–OK–in Housewife Land–the departures of OG Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge from the Real Housewives of Orange County were recently announced. After Vicki’s demotion to Friend of last season, her exit was not a total shock. Tamra’s departure was a little more surprising. Housewife OG’s and long-time cast members are probably shaking in their Louboutins–if they are smart and their reality egos allow for reflections on their Housewife status.

Vicki went out relatively classy–thanking her fans for their support. Tamra took her leave when she was only offered three episodes to wrap up her storyline. Then she appeared to unfollow her former co-stars on Instagram. Who could blame her? Being shown the door has to sting. If all that wasn’t enough, both Vicki and Tamra have more fallout to deal with from their lives as former Housewives–besides tarnished reputations, that is.

A source told Radar Online, “Vicki and Tamra have a one-year non-compete clause in their contracts.” Neither one can be happy about this. Such clauses are standard in many industry contracts and both Vicki and Tamra were probably well aware of what they were signing. But did either of the ladies ever think the clause would apply to them?

Vicki and Tamra don’t strike me as people who like to be told what to do, so this contractual limitation has to sting a bit. The window for cashing in on opportunities goes by quickly for former reality stars and a year is a long time to wait. Squeezing an absent orange for fame juice has a very finite shelf life.

The good news for the former co-stars is that there appears to be a little wiggle room in their contracts. According to the insider, “They will have to get special permission to film any other television shows for the next year.” Whew! That must be a relief for the former orange holding duo.

If Marriage Bootcamp Reality Stars comes-a-knocking like it did for Alexis Bellino last year, maybe the ladies won’t have to say no. Would anyone like to see Vicki and Tamra on Amazing Race? Maybe not, but wouldn’t it be fun to see Vicki screeching on a canyon bungee jump? Or screaming at a taxi cab driver who completely ignores her? I am sure all reasonable offers would be considered by both thirsty ladies, casting people. Terms to be negotiated.

RHOC will certainly be a different show without “dos” of the Tres Amigas. For better or worse, Vicki and Tamra were the main driving forces on the show for years. And who will remaining (so far) Tres Amiga Shannon Beador complain about ex David Beador’s recent engagement to? I don’t think Emily Simpson will be very empathetic!

Although there is no official word on casting for Season 15 yet, it has been reported that Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, a friend of Kelly Dodd’s is joining the show. That news can’t make Vicki or Tamra very happy. Something tells me that neither one of them will have RHOC on their DVR next season.

Stassi Schroeder Was Trying To Get Pregnant Before Engagement

Vanderpump Rules former queen bee Stassi Schroeder has come a long way from the friend punching, drink throwing, temper tantrum having girl we first met during Season 1 of the show.

While the cast have started marrying off, Stassi was ready to trade in the wine bottle for the baby bottle prior to her engagement. Can we say Mommie Dearest?

Stassi has not been the luckiest in love. From Jax Taylor, to Frank Herlihy and Patrick Meagher it appeared as though she was looking for only one quality in a man. That he would be a jackass.

Then came Beau Clark who was a breath of fresh air. A man who could handle Stassi’s dark passenger and her group of friends. I’m not sure which is worse to be around. And as her friends started marrying each other, one was left to wonder when it would be Stassi’s turn.

While we know how that turned out, the two are happily engaged, what may come as a surprise is that prior to their engagement, Stassi was trying to get pregnant.

According to an article in US Weekly, Stassi admitted the couple were trying for a baby last summer. “Listen, if he’s not going to propose, I’m going to take matters into my own hands,” she stated. “I was seriously hoping to be pregnant because that is so much more important to me than even getting married.”

After the engagement, Stassi decided to hold off on the baby-making plans because of her wedding dress and the desire to “get s**t – faced” at her wedding. While two of her friends, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Brittany Cartwright are both married, neither has become pregnant. Although no one hopes that happens more than Stassi. “I am so ready for one of my friends to have a damn baby,” she said, “Katie is too scared to be the first. Brittany wants to, so I’m like “‘Well, keep at it.'”

I wonder if any of them know they can schedule their pregnancies independent of the others?Who are we kidding? They’re probably all in sync and will soon push matching baby strollers down the street.

During the summer Stassi further explained her desire to have a child prior to marriage. “I feel like I’m in a place in my life where I make my own decisions and forge my own path,” she explained, “I know I want to be a mom, so I would rather get knocked up before I waited to have a wedding.”

Stassi also explained how those feelings should be empowering to other women. “It’s powerful to let women know, if that’s something that you want, you don’t have to wait to get married. You’re in charge of your own body and what you want in your own life.” So it sounds as though we won’t have too long to wait for a mini Stassi to make an appearance.

There could easily be a Real Housewives of New Jersey spin-off show called Real Husbands of New Jersey. Joe Gorga just loves getting involved in the drama.

During tonight’s episode, Joe confronts Jennifer Aydin’s husband Bill Aydin about Jennifer disrespecting Melissa Gorga by throwing silverware in the Hamptons.

Joe eloquently asks Bill, “What the f*ck is up with your wife, man?“ He also says, “We’re talking about Jen disrespecting my wife. Throwing f*cking food. Last time, she threw a glass at her.” Oh, come on. Melissa loves this shit. Let’s be honest, being the victim in these situations is the best thing to happen to Melissa.

Bill tells Joe, “Normally, she’s calm, but if Melissa disses her, then it’s hard for me to hold her back.” And we all overlook Melissa referring to everyone else’s kids as “losers” to make a point.

Joe even flips his stance on last season’s “you can’t control your husband” storyline with this remark: “I was telling the doctor here, you gotta straighten your wife out. The word is out that you gotta bang her more.” Real classy, Joe.

At that same event, Jennifer kind of tries to make up with Jackie Goldschnieder after her explosion in the Hamptons.

Jennifer tells her, “I’ve been thinking about you a lot. I feel terrible about the way things went down. I’m not gonna sit here and tell you my opinion wasn’t my opinion, but I want to let you know that I never meant to offend you.” So much for a genuine apology. That’s never gonna happen.

Jackie even tells Jennifer that she ruined the trip, which is ironic since Jennifer’s antics are making the show more entertaining.

In that same conversation, Jennifer tries to throw Margaret Josephs under the bus. She tells Jackie, “Well, if you want to really be technical about it, Margaret ruined the trip.” Well, if you really want to be technical about it, Bravo pays Margaret to stir the pot.

In some sad news, Teresa Giudice tells her brother Joe Gorga that Joe Giudice told her he “feels nothing” for her. Damn, but we know how this story ends up.

Jax Taylor Explains Why He Thinks Stassi Schroeder & Katie Maloney Won’t Make Up With Kristen Doute; Brittany Cartwright Disagrees

The demise of Kristen Doute’s friendships with Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney is a focal point of the current Vanderpump Rules season. Hell, it was even the focal point of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s joint bachelor/bachelorette party, at least based on the footage we got to see.

Brittany and Jax tied the knot in Kentucky last summer, but there are other Vanderpump Rules weddings on the horizon. Stassi got engaged to Beau Clark and they are planning a wedding in Rome, Italy. Kristen is not a member of the bridal party and, as of this moment, Stassi isn’t even sure if Kristen will get an invite, despite the fact that Kristen introduced the two of them.

Jax and Brittany discussed their friends feuding during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. Brittany tried to remain neutral, as per usual. She told the outlet, “I see both sides, and I completely understand why Katie and Stassi needed to take a break, ’cause they were fighting every time they were together, every single time.” And I’m sure that had to get annoying for Brittany at her own wedding events.

Brittany continued, “It’s good that they are taking this time. I hope they can find each other again, like that would be great ’cause then we can be together again and I don’t have to do this with this person, and this with that person. It’s like our parents are divorced.”

In that same interview, Brittany said that Stassi and Katie’s issue is that Kristen said they were never good friends to her and it would be tough for them to get past that.

Almost everyone on this show has been a shit friend at some period in time. If they could get past some truly awful things like Kristen sleeping with Jax, Stassi slapping Kristen, and Stassi disowning Katie for going to Scheana Marie’s bachelorette party, couldn’t they get past the Carter drama?

Eventually, Jax jumped in with a reality check. He doesn’t think the ladies will settle their issues in time for Stassi and Beau’s wedding. He commented, “I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon.”

Jax also said the cast was placing bets about whether or not the trio will make up. That’s cold, but that’s a creative way to deal with the surrounding drama and keep things entertaining.

Jax went on to explain, “I think they are still going after each other, and I think Kristen needs to figure herself out and get past whatever she is going through.”

Jax summarized, “I think Stassi and Katie have had enough of you [Kristen] telling the girls one thing, and you telling your boyfriend, Carter, another thing, and you’re wishy-washy and we’re not getting the straight story from you.” We know. We get it. How many times are we gonna hear the same assessment frrom everyone on this show?
