Danielle Staub Shades Margaret Josephs, Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Husband Marty Caffrey, & New Housewife Jackie Goldschneider On Wendy Williams Show
The two new cast members on Real Housewives of New Jersey better be bringing it next season. How is Danielle Staub not a full-time cast member, again? She can throw shade like no other and she always brings the drama.
During one interview alone she shaded Margaret Josephs, her soon-to-be-ex-husband Marty Caffrey, RHONJ alums Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita, as well as Jackie Goldschneider, one of the two new Housewives. The other ladies better be bringing a lot to the table, if Danielle is giving this much and she’s only a Friend of the Housewives
During the October 3 episode of The Wendy Williams Show, Danielle did not hold back. At all. Wendy Williams pointed out, “You’re not a Housewife though this time. You’re just a friend.” Danielle confirmed, “Just a friend. I would love the answer to why that is, but maybe you know some people. I don’t know.” Is that shade at Bravo? Shade directed toward production? Or is that just a general feeling of disappointment that she won’t get a tagline this season?
Wendy asked, “Why did you accept then?” Danielle answered, “I thought it was really time to explore Teresa [Giudice] and I making amends on the show and for our children as well.” She insisted, “That friendship is real to me and there isn’t anything I won’t do for her. I just wanted to be there for her.”
Wendy told Danielle, “You’ve got to really bring it this season.” Without hesitation, Danielle told Wendy, “I did.” There’s no doubt about that, but will her scenes make it into the show?
Last season, Danielle strengthened her connection with Teresa and became fast friends with Melissa Gorga and Margaret. It would have made a lot of sense for her to be a full-time Housewife if she was hanging out with them so much, but apparently things changed this season. Wendy said, “The rumor is that Margaret is responsible for having a lot of your scenes cut out.” Wait. What?
Danielle told Wendy, “Well, that’s the funny thing about rumors. Wouldn’t we all like that kind of power? What is this? She’s been here a minute. We haven’t even seen her in Season 2, have we?” Wendy pointed out, “I didn’t even see you in that trailer.” Shade thrown?
Danielle insisted, “Yeah, I’m there.” She also claimed, “I’m the reason for that trailer.” What does that mean exactly? Is she saying she was driving force behind all the drama shown in that sneak peek? Or is she implying that as an OG cast member she is a big part in the success of the show?
Spoiler alert: Wendy asked, “Do you and Margaret get along?” Danielle shared, “You know, we don’t. We really don’t and I don’t think it’s any secret. You can see all the pictures disappearing on Instagram where we used to get a lot of love.”

Danielle continued, “I don’t want anyone to think that I’m the victim or I want attention from this, but you know, I’m going through a rough time and it would have been nice for her, not to be there for me, but to stay out of my marriage.” She stated, “In a day and age of women empowerment, we should do that for one another or just keep quiet and stay in your own lane.” These two were so close last season. What could they be beefing about?
Wendy asked if we are going to see Danielle’s marriage issues play out on the show? Danielle said, “I would have hoped.” So is that a “no”? Is she just unsure? Are they just going to completely cut her marriage out of the episode?
Wendy asked, “What went wrong?” Here comes the shade. Danielle claimed, “He does hit cocktail hour a little too heavily and it does change things. I think all of us, it changes, I just don’t think it changes him for the better.” She added, “I’m always the person that wants to fix people and it’s just not fixable.”
Even after that, Wendy still asked Danielle if there was any chance that the two of them would get back together. Danielle responded with “I don’t have a crystal ball, but you can’t go into the public and be tweeting and Instagramming about your wife or your spouse.” She added, “And you don’t go to press, you know.”
Wendy asked, “So he really liked being a House Husband?” Danielle admitted, “I think that is what I’m the most disappointed about: his want for this attention.”
After all that, Wendy couldn’t help remarking, “I still can’t believe you’re not a Housewife. What do you think about the new girls?” The shade assassin struck again. Danielle said, “I do think that one is a little stronger than the other, but I spent more time with her, Jennifer [Aydin].”At
What about Jackie? Danielle said, “She kind of disappears to me a little bit. I’m just being honest. It’s nothing personal, it’s just that I’ve been around this zoo for a very long time. I can tell which animals stay and which are going to go.” It also probably doesn’t sit well with Danielle to know that Jackie is close with Margaret.
Then Wendy threw it back and asked Danielle for her thoughts on Caroline. Initially Danielle asked, “Who?” Then she pointed out, “We’re the same age, she and I, she hates when I say that. You’re welcome.” Damn.
What about Jacqueline? At first, Danielle just said, “No.” Then she remarked, “That’s a whole lot of crazy. I mean, I own my crazy, but if you don’t own it and you’re even crazier than me, that’s a lot of crazy. ”

Exclusive Interview: Survivor: David vs. Goliath’s Jessica Peet: ‘The Age Thing Is Kind Of Silly To Me’
It definitely was the first “#blindside” of the season, if you’re not counting that wave that blindsided Pat Cusack last week. Two episodes in, and we finally got to Tribal Council, but for Jessica Peet – the youngest contestant this season at age 19 – fire didn’t represent life, it represented a quick exit from the game just six days in.

Yes so far, the David Tribe has not been able to figure out how to take down the Goliaths, and for the second straight week, they saw a member exit the game. This time around it was Jessica Peet, the 19-year-old waitress from Lakeland, Florida. It’s hard to really know much about a person after just two episodes on a reality show, but Jessica definitely seemed like she could have been a good player had she just been given a bit more time in the game. Unfortunately for many Survivor players, looking several steps ahead will often cause you to stumble with your next step.
Jessica had planned to lie about her age to everyone and let them know that she is 22, an age difference that only seems relevant to someone who is 19 (do you think a player like Natalie gives a flyin’ flapjack if you are 19 or 22?). At either age, life experience is a major hurdle, and it appears that Jessica might have been in over her head.
She had formed some bonds and alliances, but it appears that their treatment of Gabby – subtly blowing her off when she was asking who the target was – may have ultimately been her downfall. How players of this game still make the same mistakes over and over again, season to season, is beyond me. But having never gone to a single Tribal Council yet, it seems like it was a glaring mistake for Jessica to think that she was safe, and therefore not work more than one angle.
Who knows exactly what might have happened, but Christian and Nick appeared to be the deciding votes in wanting to keep Lyrsa over Jessica. Jessica was in a state of shock as the votes were read, and the narrow vote of 5-4 showed that Jessica might have had a better chance had she just not gotten too comfortable.
I had the chance to speak to Jessica today on the FilmSurvivor Podcast (the full audio of which you can find and download at the bottom of this article). But here are some highlights from the interview:
JESSICA PEET INTERVIEW
On who she blames for her blindside:
Jessica Peet: I definitely felt most betrayed by Nick and Gabby. Those were the two that I was just so angry, I could not believe it. But yeah it was probably those two that I was most upset with.
On why she decided to lie about her age:
Jessica: I feel like that in my every day life also, it’s just so easy for people to underestimate you based on your age…I just felt like if I went in and covered my tracks and just said I was 22, and then sort of forgot about that a little bit, that it would put me in a better position overall than where I would be if I was 19. Because I never wanted to be remembered in this game by like, “oh well she’s the young one.” No, I wanted to be remembered because I wanted to play a good game and I wanted people to recognize that. So the age thing is kind of silly to me, I feel like I shouldn’t have had to lie about it, I just felt like going in I didn’t want anything to affect my game before my game even started.
On why she was ultimately targeted:
Jessica: I think it was just the position that I happen to be sitting in, where I had a good relationship with Bi, and a good relationship with Carl, and people recognized that…watching [the episode] definitely gave me a little bit more understanding, you know when I first got voted out I was just like, oh they must have voted me out because they voted me out, I don’t know! I didn’t understand it. So watching it back has given me a lot of clarity and actually has made me feel better, to know that I was taken out because I was viewed as a strategic threat.

Carole Radziwill Names The Two Things She Refused To Do When She Was On Real Housewives Of New York
Sometimes you really don’t know what you have until it’s gone. Case in point, Carole Radziwill’s departure from Real Housewives of New York. She was never the most outrageous cast member on the show, but there always needs to be one “rational” and “relatable” person on a reality TV show.
The viewers haven’t truly felt Carole’s absence since Season 11 hasn’t aired yet, but the one good thing about Carole leaving Real Housewives of New York is her carefree attitude when it comes dishing on the ins and outs of filming the show. She doesn’t have to worry about putting her role as a Real Housewife in jeopardy with interview comments. The best Carole Radziwill interviews have yet to come, or at least that’s what I’m hoping for.
During an interview with Town & Country, Carole was asked, “Was your time on The Real Housewives of New York a “real” depiction of you?”
Carole Radziwill Is Only In Touch With One Real Housewives Of New York Cast Member
Just like most reality TV stars who are asked that same question, Carole initially remarked, “I was very true to myself.” That, of course, is the textbook answer.
But then Carole got more specific. She shared, “I was never gonna get naked on national television, I was never going to get blackout drunk on national television. Other people did and that was good for them but that was never going to be me.” Could that be shade at her former costars? Or am I just reading into that too much? Either way, it is true. She is pretty much the only one who hasn’t been naked on this show or super wasted.
Carole concluded, “I have no regrets about doing it and I enjoyed a lot of doing it but it was hard work. It’s not authentically who I am or what I should be doing.” Does that mean she doesn’t think the show is authentic? It could be since she did say “I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind” when she announced her departure from the show.

Delivery Room Doctor Backs Surrogate’s Story In Lawsuit Against Jeff Lewis
The surrogate who carried Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward’s daughter Monroe is suing the couple, Bravo, and the production company behind Flipping Out. She claims that she did not consent to the birth being filmed and she was shocked to see that on TV.
Now, the surrogate has the support of the doctor in the delivery room who just verified her version of events. This one is bound to get ugly.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Dr. Lindsey Cafferata filed a declaration in support of Alexandra Trent, the surrogate. The doctor claimed that she “heard Ms. Trent inform the show producers that she did not want to be filmed while she gave birth as she did not want her reproductive organs displayed on television.” To be fair, her organs were not actually “displayed on television” since they were blurred out, but pretty much anyone would be upset if she genuinely had no idea the birth was filmed for the show.
The doctor also substantiates the surrogate’s claim that Jeff and Gage wanted to “film the birth for home use,” not for the show.
Jeff Lewis Responds To Lawsuit; Says He Believed Surrogate Was Like Extended Family
In her declaration, the doctor said, “On the day of the birth, I assumed my statement was being respected as I did not see any cameras in the labor room before labor started. I was also not notified by Defendants that they were going to film the birth as they had done previously with other medical procedures. It appears from the show episode that Defendants were filming the birth from behind a curtain.” Were they “filming it from behind the curtain”? Or were they openly filming for “home use”? Very unclear. Maybe production filmed these conversations and can verify what they actually agreed from. Now wouldn’t that be ironic?
The surrogate said the release she signed was just to film one appearance and that she would have to sign other releases for additional appearances. Of course, Jeff, Gage, and Bravo maintain that none of these claims are true. Ironically enough, this could make for some interesting content on the show, if they would be allowed to discuss it, which they probably aren’t.

Real Housewives Of Dallas Recap: Bitches Unleashed
This season of Real Housewives Of Dallas has turned D’Andra Simmons into a ball of palpable vibrating ragemotions bursting open at the seems. It’s no long hard night good morning, but hard night bad day, and the stress of dealing with Mama Dee, plus financial strain has turned D’Andra into the type of woman who wears an ugly hat to hide her ugly intentions while sitting on a park bench accusing her best friend’s finance of cheating. To quote Kameron Westcott in any and all situations, “Girl, what are you doing, girl?”
And what is D’Andra Simmons doing!? I mean, first of all, who would wear fashion accessories that literally manifests your shady behavior? And what purpose does it serve to ruin LeeAnne Locken‘s happiness by accusing Rich of cheating (which I do not even believe)? Now I am not one to defend LeeAnne – ever – but D’Andra, that hat is the least of your problems!
Personally, I think it’s some weird psychology situation where D’Andra morphs into ‘the Mama Dee‘ with LeeAnne and whenever LeeAnne starts getting too independent or ahead of herself, here comes Mama D’Andra to snidely slap her back down. LeeAnne takes it because LeeAnne is an unfillable vat of need and want, openly keening for love, attention, and acceptance – especially from the socialite set – and also because these two are both so messy-messed up with co-dependence they need to go on Marriage Bootcamp together.
This episode was all about moms, wasn’t it? Even D’Andra stabbing LeeAnne in the heart to project her Mama Dee baggage.
Presently Lee and D‘ aren’t speaking (actually neither are Dee and D’). D’Andra claims it’s because she’s still upset over LeeAnne gossiping to Cary Deuber bout how she only had $200 in her Starbuck’s account, so now she doesn’t fully trust LeeAnne. Now, I 100% agree with D’Andra that LeeAnne wasn’t trying to be a good friend. Chattering about D’Andra’s money and family drama certainly nefarious intent, but D’Andra is taking her retaliation too far! LeeAnne has already eaten humble pie in the form of a dog biscuit when she was caught red-handed after Cary pulled down the curtain on her tricky scheme, so move past this with dignity by rising above and just keeping LeeAnne at a distance for a while. Girl, this is your opportunity to be the bigger person, girl!
But let’s check in on Kameron in espanol, shall we. Kameron wants her kids to learn Spanish because even she has the wherewithal to know that building a wall around Mexico will not contain the reality that an increasingly large swath of the globe speaks Spanish. Kameron, progressive? El shock-o!
Kameron has the Spanish teacher come over to bake cupcakes with Cruise and Hilton, Kameron’s two unfortunately named, but cute children, who have probably never seen the inside of their kitchen before. It was a whole new world full of things that aren’t pink – nothing being pink is all the proof you need that Kameron doesn’t cook. And in the most undignified moment of Kameron’s magical flamingo life she attempted to jam an entire cupcake in her mouth on Court’s dare, then spit it out on the kitchen floor. She’s probably still in therapy for that shocking and disgraceful moment, and ever since has been pink with embarrassment which must be why she looks so fetching in her new interview look. The Veronica Lake waves and the side part – muy bien!
Stephanie Hollman takes her kids to some dance lesson. After a few minutes of watching Stephanie side step off-beat while shaking her head vacantly, the teacher can take no more. Then Stephanie’s older son torments the younger one by ripping his shirt off and chasing him around. I have two boys, about the same age. This was too much reality for me. Stephanie says she’s too much of a people pleaser to even discipline her kids (Mama Dee clearly has the opposite problem!), but I disagree – Stephanie is too hard on herself! I thought she did a good job. She didn’t yell, she was firm and assertive, and got results.
I can’t even go into Brandi Redmond‘s parenting. I’ve been avoiding it all season, and it’s not that I think Brandi is a bad mom, just that she’s too laid-back. At home Brandi is a walking coma, then Brandi leaves the house and she’s a wild unhinged thing permanently attached to a tequila bottle.
LeeAnne doesn’t have kids, but she does have enough mama drama that we’ve been hearing about it for three seasons and blessedly last night didn’t have to. We know all about the carnie kid encampment, and the amygdala, and the everything else Jesus can’t fix. Jesus also, apparently, isn’t on the repairs committee for fixing her friendship with D’Andra. LeeAnne and Rich discuss wedding plans and have narrowed their guest list down to about 200. Mostly LeeAnne’s ‘friends’ – aka people she wants to invite as an F-U to prove she can get married on TV. LeeAnne also envisions spending $250,000 on this wedding. LeeAnne in what world do you think anyone believes you have that kinda of disposable cash lying around?
Rich plans to do all the traditional stuff – wear the same tux he got married in the first three times, stand at the end of the aisle to wait for the bride like he usually does, but this time, LeeAnne tells us he’ll be STAYING MARRIED. Or else Rich’s life, or lack thereof, is gonna turn into an episode of CSI where there’s a homicide at the carnival. That’s just my suspicion anyway! D’Andra also better watch her back in the funhouse mirrors though.
D’Andra has been ignoring LeeAnne’s texts. Rich suggests LeeAnne call D’Andra but it goes straight to voicemail. LeeAnne is heartbroken by their fracture and doesn’t know what she’s done. Hint: it involves $200 and a reality show. I think D’Andra is overreacting to LeeAnne’s backstabbing, or maybe there’s more to the story that we don’t know? Or maybe D’Andra just knows LeeAnne like the back of her hand, but girl nobody wants to see a longtime friendship split up over some reality TV drama, girl. Take your own advice and get it together bitch!
Mama Dee visits D’Andra and I am shocked to see her driving a normal person car. I envisioned Dee having some kinda crazy white Rolls Royce emblazoned with her own picture on the side, but nope just a Lexus SUV. That I consider a luxury SUV a “normal person car” is how warped my mind has become on Bravo.
D’Andra and Dee haven’t spoken in 4 weeks since Dee accused D’Andra of being jealous of her beauty, and in that time Dee has had (another) come to Jesus moment about how her relationship with D’Andra, her only child, is more important than retaining control of the company, so she’s turning the whole thing over – for real this time. D’Andra is skeptical. And she has every right to be. Dee has done played this hand so many times, that D’Andra doesn’t even have the energy to pretend to look happy and you can tell that in her mind she’s still making plans to separate Hard Night Good Morning from whatever supplements can make you live forever like Dee. Dee is such a master manipulator, I don’t even think Andy Cohen could handle it. This lady needs to teach a course called Ultimate Real Housewives. ‘Cause she could outpace even Lisa Vanderpump in the shady boots department.
Then Cary sets up the cast trip by revealing that her dad, whom she has a distant and unhappy relationship with, is from Denmark and she’d like to know more about his history. Cary still has lots of family living there including tons of cousins. LeeAnne and D’Andra leaving the country together, in their current state, is probably a threat to national security…
The highlight of the show – and I use this term loosely – is Kameron’s doggy painting party. Everyone plus their dogs and kids are invited. Kids give LeeAnne the heebie-jeebies, and the feeling is mutual, so she’s reluctant to attend, but anything to stay in Kam’s good graces!
This party is, well, I honestly don’t have words! Kameron hired – or attempted to hire – a string quartet to set the mood for making art. Only three musicians showed up so either Kameron can’t spell quartet or the fourth thought this gig was a joke and is at home making better use of their time watching Netflix. Kameron also laid out all this fancy food, including gourmet dog biscuits which looked like cookies so that LeeAnne accidentally ate one. The taste of chicken wasn’t a giveaway? LeeAnne probably also thought dog poop was brown paint.
It’s basically complete bedlam of kids and dogs running around wildly, and I think the real reason Kameron threw this party was to deepen her relationship with the hot art teacher (see above! Swoon!) who has painted all her pets. Unsurprisingly it is LeeAnne’s dog that shits right next to the cello. What is surprising is that Brandi didn’t spend the day making poop jokes. It’s cause she was in a baaaad, baaaad mood after dealing with her wayward kids.
After Brandi’s mom filed an unpaid wages complaint with the Department of Labor, Brandi had to hire a nanny. The nanny is at home with Bruin while Brandi takes Brooklyn and Brinkley to the painting party. Brooklyn DOES. NOT. WANT. TO. GO and spends the car ride making sounds like a howler monkey. “If I had to drive these two tiny bitches and Bruin I would literally drive off a cliff,” laughs Brandi, who breaks speed limit records knowing there will be much-needed wine at Kam’s doggy art fest. This Brooklyn child is a hellspawn we haven’t seen since Milania Giudice. And I love it. I am all for the wild children who give no f-cks about embarrassing their parents on national TV.
Once there Brandi has to face LeeAnne shooting death stares at her from over a poop-stained easel. D’Andra decided the best way to handle LeeAnne at this shitty get together is to ignore her completely. Literally. LeeAnne knows somethings up and pulls her trusty pal Cary aside for the scoop.
LeeAnne is working Cary so hard. And Cary is so desperate to stay on LeeAnne’s good side she’s putty in her hands – we all know what those hands can do! – but even LeeAnne is unnerved when Cary straight up throws Brandi under the bus (with essentially no provocation) by telling LeeAnne how Brandi believes she’s “in Kam’s ear” and telling D’Andra not to be friends with her. When LeeAnne thinks you’re being a bad friend, time to reevaluate. Seriously – what is Cary doing? Like, why is she so eager to be LeeAnne’s little gossip gopher? Girl, no, girl, don’t do it, girl. Girl get your own, like, spine, girl. Also, for the record I do not think Kameron is easily manipulated. Quite the opposite!
To enact revenge against Brandi, LeeAnne has been trying to buddy-up to Stephanie. So she makes good on her plan to invite Stephanie to lunch with her and Kam. Brandi doesn’t think this is a good idea, but for now is keeping her opinions to herself. Frankly, I’m impressed by this restraint.
Finally, D’Andra and LeeAnne meet for a long overdue coffee but far from making amends, D’Andra makes it worse! I just don’t understand why D’Andra is so concerned about when Rich and LeeAnne are getting married. So. WHAT. Even if LeeAnne is hiding something, even if D’Andra truly does suspect Rich is cheating, why would she bring this up on camera? At least LeeAnne had the decency to gossip about D’Andra’s finances behind closed doors – although she did so knowing full well it would come out ON camera eventually, but D’Andra has completely cut out the middle man – and any sense of decency – by just lobbing this accusation out there without any supporting evidence. Especially when she was so hard on LeeAnne for making accusations about Cary’s marriage last season!
D’Andra first questions LeeAnne on “living separate lives” with Rich and then when she confirms that there’s no date for the wedding yet, straight up asks LeeAnne if she thinks Rich is faithful, intimating that there have been rumors… LeeAnne is literally, for about the first time in her entire life, speechless. D’Andra, girl, don’t do that, girl. This is like so uncouth, girl, mmmmmmmmmmm, I don’t like this side of you, girl.
I understand D’Andra is emotionally raw from a lifetime of Dee, but don’t do LeeAnne this dirty! I am a big D’Andra fan and I’m super disappointed in her.
