Last week, the Real Housewives of Orange County stars were in Miami. On tonight’s episode, they had to Key West, aka the place where David Beador may have cheated on Shannon Beador.
Ironically, it seems like Shannon is the one who puts the drama into motion during this Key West trip. She tells Kelly Dodd what Vicki Gunvalson has been up to behind her back, even though Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter had been in the know. Apparently, Vicki got in touch with a woman Kelly fought with at a bar. Oh, Vicki, she really did what she could to save that orange. Unfortunately for her, it didn’t work.
Vicki ends up exploding at Kelly, in a rage that I assume is displaced and actually stemmed from Vicki’s embarrassment about her demotion.
It’s unclear what Tamra Judge and Braunwyn Windham-Burke are up to during tonight’s episode, but I just hope that they’re done making out for camera time. In reality, I’m sure Tamra was pulling the strings on this whole Vicki vs. Kelly drama. Love her or hate her, she knows exactly what she’s doing when it comes to this whole Real Housewives thing.
In random news that no one really cares about since the viewers never saw Matt Kirschenheiter on the show, Gina wonders if they should reconcile. News flash: that’s not what ends up happening. Gina alleged that Matt threatened to kill her in front of their kids and got a restraining order against him. Now she’s dating someone else.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be an RHOC cast trip if someone didn’t end up in an ambulance. My money is on Vicki. Again, she was probably doing the most to try and save that orange.

Below Deck viewers have seen Simone Mashile struggle to cut fruit, open a wine bottle, make two-ingredient drinks, and carry plates. Yet, somehow, she secured the role of Second Stew. She has been miffed with Kate Chastain for not putting her on service as often as she’s been in the laundry room. However, Simone seems to have zero service skills. Even one of the (obnoxiously drunk) charter guests from last night’s episode carried out plates better than Simone ever has. This set Simone off. As sad as it was to see her crying in her room, I cannot help siding with Kate. Courtney Skippon is a way more competent stew than Simone is. Of course, she is getting more service opportunities.
Kate has been so patient and so nice to Simone all season, even though Simone seems to lack all most of the skills needed for this job. Still, no one could blame her for putting Simone in her place when Simone “confronted” her during last night’s episode. Yes, I know this show is edited and it is possible that all of the footage of Simone coming through as stewardess is on the cutting room floor. However, that just doesn’t seem likely.
Simone spent a lot of time on Twitter last night, responding to viewers and defending herself. Kate and Captain Lee Rosbach did not take too kindly to her posts though. A viewer tweeted, “I feel bad for Simone, but Kate gave her the chance to sink or swim and unfortunately she didn’t swim #BelowDeck.” Simone quoted that tweet and added, “Oh I hear it’s Sink or Swim but who ever swam the first couple of times they learnt to swim. Or ran the when they were first trying to walk. It’s called learning.” Oh, come on, Simone. How many times did Kate teach you how to open a wine bottle? Yes, there’s a learning curve to every job, but this is a lot.
A different fan told Simone “Yes, you have the capacity to learn but you have to admit that part of learning is asking questions and trying to solve problems. If you don’t know, you can’t be taught. If you don’t know, ask for help. You applied for a stew role and not a comprehensive training program.” Simone defended herself by saying, “Asking questions+trying to solve problems…that’s me naturally (not afraid to look studpid as long as I learn)&what I’ve been doing.Not sure if that’s evident frm watching.I clearly want to be better instead of adopting a Kate is chilled with me in Laundry so whatevz attitude…”
Simone responded to many tweets saying that she lied on her resumé. It really makes no sense how she got this job even though she can barely carry a tray. Simone tweeted, “Also factoring in that my CV was clear about my experience and the duties it entailed. Very little service at that point. And I was upfront about it as well. So my assumption was if I was put in the position, I’d probably be shown/guided along the way.” I’m not gonna lie, I was wondering the same thing about Simone’s CV. How did she get this job?
Simone continued to blame Kate for her lack of service knowledge. Simone tweeted, “Pretty much. You learn alot about service & get A LOT of service experience from Laundry & Housekeeping based on the previous experience I’ve had.*pls note the sarcasm* Seems to be continuing here…” How much does Simone need to “learn about service”? Has she never been to a restaurant? She doesn’t seem to have a grasp on base-level skills. This is NOT Kate’s fault.
We all thought that service wasn’t Simone’s forté, but neither is live-tweeting the show. Simone didn’t change my mind about anything. Leave the live-tweeting to the professionals. Kate and Captain Lee, take it from here. Kate wrote, “Simone saying I don’t have her on service b/c I think she’s smarter than I am just proves what a laughable statement that is.” Agreed, Kate.
Kate also responded to Simone’s tweet about “learning how to swim.” Kate wrote, “I don’t mind teaching you to “swim” Simone but I’m not going to have you represent us in the Olympic 800 meter freestyle when you’re still wearing safety water wings. #BelowDeck (not being able to open a bottle of wine is the same as having to wear water wings btw).”
Captain Lee chimed in with “If you are onboard a luxury yacht, this isn’t a dress rehearsal, this is the real deal, we are not there to teach you everything that you purported in your resume and conversations that you already knew.” Seriously, why was Simone hired? Other than semi-delivering as a reality TV star, she brings nothing to the table- both literally and metaphorically.

Bravo has announced details about Spy Games, its reality competition whose producers include Survivor’s former showrunner and a former ABC exec who developed The Mole.
No shade to Scheana Marie, but she doesn’t have the best taste in men. Mike Shay cleared her bank account. Rob Valletta and Robby Hayes used her for publicity. Adam Spott wouldn’t let her get out of the friend zone.
Now, she’s dating a personal trainer named Brock Davies, who she’s beaming about, as per usual. However, some people have questioned his behavior.
Bravo’s The Daily Dish vaguely reported on Brock’s “rumored buzzy behavior” without getting into any specifics. Fans at BravoCon asked Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark about Brock’s (alleged) behavior. A fan spilled some unflattering tea about Brock and Beau responded with, “I think I need another drink.”
Then Beau said, “No, I like Brock a lot. I like him. He’s a nice guy.” Stassi shared, “In front of us, he’s been very nice, but I keep hearing these stories, and it’s making me laugh, because this is now the 17th time I’ve been told this information.” I wish someone told me this information at least once. I have no idea what they’re commenting on, but again, Scheana doesn’t exactly have the best taste in men, so all possibilities are on the table.
Beau commented, “Scheana’s lovely, and she needs someone good for once. So we hope that this s–t works out.” Same here, Beau.
Stassi concluded, “Hopefully Brock is not an a–hole, hopefully he’s not a loser, hopefully he treats her correctly because she has earned a good relationship, I will say this. As much as I make fun of her, she earned it.” I can’t argue with that.
As easy as it is to make fun of Scheana, no one can deny that she puts her all into romantic relationships. Hopefully, Brock is a lot better than Shay, Rob, Robby, and Adam.

To be honest, I was hoping never to use the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the word “dog” in the same article again. But the Universe doesn’t care about our plans, so here we are. The holidays are a time for family togetherness and sometimes traveling is involved. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave recently packed her bump, her husband, and her brood for a quick family excursion. More often than not, our fur babies are watched by a trusted individual or reputable boarding facility.
Most of the time we return from a trip and go back to daily life, but sometimes bad things happen in the interim. Despite preventative measures, a very unfortunate accident occurred and Teddi’s homecoming was anything but normal. Instead of settling back into their regular routine and preparing for Santa, Teddi and her family are dealing with something else entirely.
Sad news everyone. Teddi, Edwin Arroyave, and their 3.5 children are currently mourning the loss of their beloved dog. This is especially upsetting as Teddi’s children are very young, this is supposed to be a “happy” time of year for little ones, and death sucks in any capacity.
Teddi shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post. She wrote, “RIP to our loving, silly and adorable doggy Khaleesi. Our hearts are broken as we have had to say goodbye to you way too soon.”
Teddi remained mum on the details but did share this, “Without going too into it. We were out of town and placed Khaleesi in a place of care where an accident happened. Sometimes things happen out of your control; we our doing our best to grieve as a family while also remembering the good times with our furry baby. We love you and miss you dearly.” Teddi doesn’t state if the “place of care” was a boarding establishment or a friend or family member’s house. But I know what you’re thinking and no, Dorit Kemsley was not watching the dog.
Teddi might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but this is a total bummer. If you haven’t had to explain the death of a beloved pet to youngsters, consider yourself lucky.
Edwin also shared a tribute to Khaleesi on his social media. Most recently, the pup was included in the family’s 2019 holiday card.
Quite a few of Teddi’s co-stars shared their condolences. Dorit (side-eye) wrote, “So sorry, so sad.” Lisa Rinna contributed, “Oh nooooo I’m so sorry Teddi!” Denise Richards shared a couple of devastated emoticons.
Bangs Kyle Richards also typed out an emoticon comment, no word on whether or not she sent a sympathy caftan. Erika Jayne is probably photographing composing a handwritten, comforting card as we speak.
Hopefully, the family will find peace with their loss and enjoy the many great memories they have. Rest in power, little pup.

The Real Housewives of Orange County episode featuring Tamra Judge’s adult son in a therapy session has spawned a lot of controversy. Ryan Vieth doesn’t have the best reputation in reality television, but to be fair, neither does his mother. Fans of the show have watched Ryan go from the tortured stepkid of Simon Barney who didn’t want a desk job to a somewhat troubled father of one, who still doesn’t want a desk job.
There has never been a great deal of sympathy for Ryan, but the public tends to root for someone who fights to change their situation instead of complaining how they got there. Ryan has also displayed some less than acceptable behavior towards the mother of his child. In addition to his relationship woes, Ryan is very vocal about his political stance, which is a polarizing subject on most occasions. Now Tamra’s resident sycophant co-star Gina Kirschenheiter shares her thoughts on Ryan and wants viewers to know he is a pretty good guy.
Ryan has traveled some winding roads. Right now his life is lacking employment and a positive female partnership that would provide a stable platform in which to raise his daughter. Pro-tip, don’t hook up with people who DM you on Instagram. Naturally, Ryan blames all of this on Tamra and said as much during his perfunctory counseling session.
Wouldn’t life be great if we could just blame all of the world’s issues on Tammy Sue? Tamra is the cause of many things, but Ryan’s downfall is probably not one of them. All mothers face a certain amount of guilt regarding their children and Tamra is no exception, she just happens to use hers as a storyline. Tamra and Gina sat down with Bravo’s The Daily Dish and discussed the results Ryan is seeing from continuing his therapy.
Tamra shared, “In his [Ryan’s] own mind he thinks he’s a loser and nobody likes him, it’s really a dark place to be.” Ryan may feel like no one likes him because he is very opinionated on social media, as well as on camera. Sharing one’s opinion leaves the door open for people to disagree with you… As for feeling like a loser, if Ryan found himself gainfully employed and earning a paycheck, he might develop some self-worth.
Tamra mentioned how different Ryan’s upbringing was compared to her children with Simon. She said, “I was graduating high school three months pregnant. We had nothing, Ryan looks at Spencer [Barney] and sees like he’s going to a big university and thinks I never even had that chance.” Certainly Ryan harbors resentment because his half-siblings were raised in an environment different than his own, but once again, there is something to be said for the age of accountability. Translation, get off your butt and stop complaining. Even Tamra’s husband Eddie Judge thinks Ryan is more a victim of himself than any perceived “mental illness”.
Gina also shared her opinion of Ryan. She explained that some people react differently to situations and being followed by a camera crew. In Gina’s opinion, Ryan gets a bad rap. “I think he gets a bad rap. I don’t know Ryan very well but I have hung out with him a handful of times and he’s like a really nice, sweet, polite guy… Very good dad.” In defense of viewers, he gets a “bad rap” because of what he makes public. This has nothing to do with a fickle fan base or his mother not having money during his childhood.
Tamra agreed with Gina and said, “He’s super nice, polite, just a homebody. Doesn’t even really drink, hardly ever. Doesn’t do drugs.” She noted a lot of his great qualities today are a result of going to therapy, which we saw this season.
Let’s hope the benefit of counseling affords Ryan the opportunity to stop blaming his upbringing for his inability to move forward. With some effort, he could begin taking accountability and responsibility for his own life. Because even though it’s fun to blame Tamra for everything, we might not be able to blame her for Ryan.

Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have known that Danielle Staub’s given name was Beverly Ann Merrill. Who could ever forget that infamous Cop Without A Badge moment from Season 1? This isn’t exactly news. Still, Danielle was clearly shook when her BFF-turned-enemy Margaret Josephs called her “Beverly” during the Season 9 RHONJ reunion.
Jennifer Aydin was out of the loop on that one. She told Danielle that she had no idea her real name was actually “Beverly,” which majorly upset Danielle. Aside from brainwashing Teresa Giudice, Danielle has no storyline this season. This makes sense since she’s a part-time cast member. Again. For the third year in a row.
Danielle ranted about the Beverly of it all during a recent Instagram Story video. She told her followers, “That name that keeps being thrown around, by the people that know what the significance is behind it, was used by my sexual abuser that would molest me and rape me as a child. I don’t know if you still think that’s funny. But, for those of you that do, shame on you.” Margaret and Jennifer can be shady and stir the pot, but I highly doubt they intentionally referenced Danielle’s alleged sexual abuse by mentioning her birth name.
Nevertheless, Danielle declared, “If you still support Margaret and Jennifer and if you think that’s a really funny story to tell and that’s the reason I can’t be at somebody’s party or not invited to somebody’s party after all that I did to defend [Margaret] when she didn’t fit in with the group.” In case anyone forgot, Melissa Gorga did not invite Danielle to film at her birthday party. This was something that awkwardly came up in person.
Danielle continued, “And, think back, how did Margaret get into the group and solidified? Me. I take it all on and I’m not doing it anymore.” When did Margaret need help to fit in with the group? Most of the RHONJ ladies took to her right away.
Danielle teased, “So, enjoy the rest of the season. All they do is talk about me. And, if you really want to hear the truth, I guess you’ll ask me. I don’t know what else to say, other than there’s absolutely nothing I can do about the way that I’m treated by [that] group of mean women that are acting quite frankly like they’re just God’s greatest gifts. They’re not. Neither am I, but I never mean girled any of them. I’ve never done anything to them.” Really? Danielle has never done anything to them? What about when she and Melissa plotted against Teresa before Mel joined the cast? How about when she treated Margaret like shit with all of her bridezilla antics?
Danielle concluded, “Just because they’re telling a story that you haven’t seen play out, it’s just a lie. And the rest of them are swearing to it. Still a lie.” Alright, then.

Alexis Bellino seemed to largely disappear after leaving the Real Housewives of Orange County after four seasons in 2013. Sure, she posted a lot on social media, but we didn’t hear much about her until her divorce from Jim Bellino last year. Since then, Alexis has been popping up on the semi-regular. Earlier this year, she made some waves when she posted a few Instagram pics with her new man, Andy Bohn. And Alexis was soon was faced with Andy’s estranged wife making a public plea for privacy for her family due to Alexis flaunting her new relationship on social media.
Alexis is currently starring on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars-Family Edition with her mother and is also making an upcoming appearance on Below Deck. Something tells me Alexis won’t be as sweet as Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey was when she was on the show! Alexis also appeared on RHOC this season due to her friendship with Emily Simpson. Apparently, all this attention wasn’t enough, as Alexis is now in a bit of a social media kerfuffle over comments she made about her household help on Instagram.
In a recent Instagram post, Alexis shared a picture of her sectional sofa pulled apart. On the floor under where the sofa had been, there are a bunch of feathers, a pen and what looks like part of a child’s craft project. Alexis added the caption, “When your couch accidentally disconnects and you realize your maids aren’t doing deep cleaning. Found 2 socks too…” This was followed by several emojis, including one that was laughing.
You have to wonder why someone would post this. Is Alexis just being playful in a borderline inappropriate way–or is she shaming her household help? Didn’t she think people would comment on this–or was that her purpose? Does anyone call their household help “maids” anymore–or does Alexis now live in the Spelling mansion?
If Alexis was trolling for attention, she found it. Posters quickly called her out, with comments like, “That sounds pretentious AF.” Another stated, “Boo hoo. Poor you. Maybe try and do it yourself.” “Move the couch yourself once in a while,” said another. One poster shared, “Your ‘maids’ $1stworldproblems right here, you sure you’re going to be ok to clean it?” And my personal favorite, “Alexis, you’ve always been a whiner and you’re still a whiner. Be grateful.”
Surely, Alexis knew this would kick off a social media sh*t storm. However, it is Alexis we are talking about… If this cleaning issue is really something that concerned her, wouldn’t it be better to just talk to the people cleaning your house–like a normal, respectful employer?
Needless to say, all the sassy comments did not sit well with the ex-Mrs. Bellino and she could couldn’t leave well enough alone. Alexis later posted, “To All: I can and WILL post whatever I want on MY IG. My maids are well paid for and I love them. It was a joke. Get over yourselves, stop trolling, find happiness and please unfollow me ASAP as I’m not looking for any of your approval on my IG and I DON’T need followers.”
Bam–I guess Alexis told them! One could argue that even though her maids are “well paid for,” if she really loved them, would she be poking fun at them on social media? Does love have to hurt, Alexis?
Alexis went on to say, “I will continue to be myself on my own social media platform. Life is good. Find the happiness and peace in life and just know you will be blocked cuz I don’t have Instagram for your acceptance, nor for any of you to spread hate. Thanks!!! Have a great day! Love and light!”
I was all set to troll Alexis, but then she made all warm and fuzzy with her “have a great day” and “love and light.” It is always good to end a stern message with some throw away, treacly inspirational thoughts! Alexis, a comforting human s’more.
I bet you thought Alexis was done with her rant–think again! Apparently, she was still riled up. In a follow up post, she stated, “I’m actually enjoying blocking all of you haters. I’ve always left hateful comments up because I really don’t care what you think of me. But now that I have a son on IG, I’m different. HATERS/TROLLS don’t matter. I may end up with zero followers in the end, but guess what…I have strong kids who know y’all are just miserable folks.”
But, if haters and trolls don’t matter, should Alexis be responding to them? Social media is such a difficult platform to maneuver–especially when the attention you are seeking doesn’t go your way.
Alexis went on to declare, “Social media is clearly becoming a huge trouble for young children. I will make this my life’s mission to stop all of you as I have kids coming into social media.” Those statements sound suspiciously like Alexis is looking for a platform to enter the Mrs. California pageant, but then again, I’m a bit cynical. Like some of her followers.
Rubbing salt into what Alexis thinks might be her followers’ wounds, she added, “And by the way…you were never invited to be my friend! Remember that YOU are following ME. Not vice Versa. God Bless you all. Find your true purpose in life. I promise you that God doesn’t want you hating on Social media. # spreadlove.”
“Spreadlove,” indeed. I am now picturing Alexis’ house–you know–the one that her maids allegedly lackadaisically clean–is full of Home Goods inspirational signs plastered on the walls. “Live, Laugh, Love.” “Believe.” “Let it be.” With an occasional, “Go to HELL hateful, miserable trolls!” plaque thrown into the mix!
