Teresa Giudice is a free-ish woman at last! I mean sort of. The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star, who was released from federal prison just before Christmas, has officially been removed from house arrest as of today.
That’s not the only good news for Teresa! The Turning The Tables author also paid off all $414,000 of her restitution. Now for the rest of the $13.4 million and change she owes…

“Effective this morning, Teresa is no longer subject to the parameters of home confinement. She is now free in all aspects from the custodial portion of her sentence,” announced Teresa’s attorney. “The restitution has been paid in full and what remains is a two-year period of supervised release, the terms of which we will remain in full compliance with. ” Now Teresa is free to travel around the country on book tours and more!
BTW: Supervised release means Teresa is on probation.
“Teresa is very much looking forward to closing this dark chapter in her life and moving forward both personally and professionally,” her attorney continued in a statement to People.
This dark chapter isn’t over, however, as Joe Giudice heads to prison soon to serve 41 months, followed by a possible deportation. Plus the Giudices are still dealing with their $13.4 million in outstanding debt after their bankruptcy filing was denied, a tax lien, and foreclosure issues. But at least Teresa is finally getting along with Melissa Gorga…
But I guess BabySteps, BabySteps, BabySteps, right?
Teresa will be appearing on Good Morning America on February 9th for her first official media appearance following her release.

Erika reflects on this week’s episode, thankful to spend time with her ailing friend and feels everyone should be nicer to her.
Erika is happy that Yolanda felt up to walking down to the beach, “I want to start off by saying how happy it made me to get out to the beach with Yolanda. I almost forgot how pretty Malibu can be. It was such a gorgeous day, it almost made me miss my old Malibu home. She had not been on the beach in months, so this was really special. With everything she’s dealing with right now, she deserves some time to enjoy herself.”
She continued, “When Yolanda asked what happened after she left the party, I told her. The situation is upsetting to her, and she’s been through enough already. Like I said last week, we should be more sensitive when discussing other people’s children and the challenges they may face. But as her friend, I will look out for her.”
While I would typically agree that kids should be off limits – Yolanda is the one who made the bombshell revelation about the kids and put it out there in the public. So, naturally her friends are going to be shocked if this is the first they’re hearing of a diagnosis that happened more than two years prior!
Erika also thinks it was right for Lisa Rinna to face up to Yolanda for her part in the questioning of Yo’s Lyme diagnosis. “I think Lisa Rinna did the right thing to have a face-to-face conversation with Yolanda regarding her illness. Speculation and “chatter” about something so serious and personal is hurtful, and it causes division within the group. I’m glad they were able to talk it out one-on-one. Perhaps they can move on from here.”
She congratulates the couples on their anniversary milestones and commends Kyle Richards on her flexibility, “I do love Kyle for hitting a split! Werk, Mama!”
She’s hopeful that Kathyrn Edwards and Lisa Vanderpump will forgive and forget where Faye Resnick is concerned, “Kathryn and Lisa Vanderpump are united with their hard feelings towards Faye. It can be hard to let go of bad blood from the past, but they are three intelligent women, and I’m hoping they will be able to take a step forward soon. Time will tell.”

Foi em respeito a um pedido de Ailson Lopes, de 76 anos. Internado há algumas semanas em estado grave por conta de um câncer no pulmão, o idoso pediu para ver o filho.
— É muito grave o estado de saúde dele. Na semana passada, a família até quis avisar ao Alan sobre a situação, mas o pai não deixou. Ontem ele acabou pedindo para vê-lo — informou uma pessoa ligada à família, que acrescentou: — Ele está lúcido, só fazendo uso de oxigênio.
Ainda de acordo com a fonte, Adilson Lopes começou a fazer radioterapia hoje e está acompanhado por toda a família no hospital, em Natal, no Rio Grande do Norte.
Pouco antes de Alan entrar no pré-confinamento, Adilson Lopes havia descoberto o tumor e, em seguinda, infartou. Preocupado com a situação do pai, que se internou, o doutor em Filosofia chegou a desistir de participar do “BBB”. O pai, contudo, incentivou o filho a não desistir. O idoso teve alta um dia antes de Alan vir para o Rio.
Uma semana após o início do “BBB 16”, Adilson voltou para o hospital. Segundo mulher do ex-BBB, Thais Henrique Ferreira, Alan havia pedido para não esperar o pai morrer para avisá-lo da situação.
Tabagismo
Pai e filho eram fumantes e, quando o câncer foi descoberto em Ailson, Alan resolveu parar de fumar e iniciou um tratamento pata se livrar do tabagismo. No programa, ele, que fumou por 15 anos, era sempre visto com um cigarro eletrônico que, segundo Thais, continha somente essência e vapor de água.
— Tem uns três meses que ele parou de fumar. Aquele cigarro não tem nicotina, é só para manter o hábito. Já teve época que meu marido chegou a fumar duas carteiras de cigarro por dia — contou ela.
