Unfortunately, Lydia McLaughlin is back on Real Housewives of Orange County this season. Last time she pretty much had no story line other than yelling at Slade Smiley after he told her to eat burger and relying on her hilarious mom to entertain the viewers.
This time around, Lydia is all about the pot stirring and the self-promoting. She is either low key stirring up drama or promoting her magazine.
Lydia talked about her return to the show during an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish podcast. When asked, “Why did you decide to come back now?” Lydia said, “I was just at a really cool place in my life. I had an interesting story to tell. My husband and I just started a magazine, Nobleman Magazine. I have a blog: OC Lydia. So we had cool things in our life to talk about that we felt comfortable talking about.” So she just came back to promote her businesses?
To be fair she also said, “I left the show and had a baby. The baby now is two and a half, so he’s not as attached to me. So it just was the right time.” Lydia also claimed, “Every year we would have the conversation ‘Should I come back? What’s going on in your life?’ and this is the year where it was like ‘This is what’s going on and I’m ready to tell it.’ So away we went.” I find it hard to believe that anyone was begging for Lydia to return.
The weirdest thing about Lydia’s return is that she appears to have no idea what is going on. She has been on this show and she has access to television and the internet, so it’s pretty wild that she just had no clue that Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador cannot stand Vicki Gunvalson. When asked, “Did you have any idea that was going on?” Lydia claimed, “I really didn’t. I didn’t keep up with everything and I think that was hard for me. That’s what I say to Tamra at the Bible study on my first episode is ‘My last memory is you girls laughing.'” Lydia insisted, “For me it was like there’s a lot of love there. You guys are family. Talk it out.” She finally admitted, “I understand the relationship or lack of relationship better.”
Lydia is the one who introduced the new girl Peggy Sulahian to the group- which is so weird because we literally saw them meet for the same time on camera and Peggy has zero history with anyone in the cast. Lydia describes Peggy by saying, “She definitely is confusing at times and opinionated. She is strong!”
She also teased, “You will see a lot of the women having issues with her and she has a backbone and she sometimes finds it hard to find the words to express herself. So I’m curious to see the fans’ reaction to her.”
Lydia also said, “I really love her. I think she’s a good girl. She’s a great mom. She has a great marriage. Her husband is awesome.”
Annoyingly enough, Lydia continued to play the innocent act and describe her presence on the show as “a light,” which is both pretentious and inaccurate. Lydia said, ” Even the episode when I met Shannon, I’m trying to be a light and that gets misread as being a pot stirrer.” No misreading here. Definite pot stirring.
Another pot stirrer who is set to return to the show is Gretchen Rossi. Lydia revealed that Gretchen comes back with a mission in mind: “She comes back for one episode. She comes to Vicki’s birthday party. She obviously doesn’t get along with Tamra super well, so she comes back to maybe talk about that to Vicki. I don’t know, I wasn’t there.” I cannot wait to see that one.

After Kim Zolciak’s son Kash was hospitalized because of a dog bite, her fans and followers couldn’t help wondering if the dog is one of her own. The question remains unanswered, but maybe it will be addressed on the upcoming season of Don’t Be Tardy.
We will have to wait and see what is shown when it comes to that horrible incident, but Kim has other dog-related drama. A “fan” reported her to animal control after she posted a photo of her dogs in cages.
According to an article from Page Six, Kim explained the situation on Snpachat, “Apparently somebody thought it would be really cute to call the animal control center on my dogs today and say they were not being taken care of. I am utterly f–king disgusted and appalled by the person who did this. I will no longer be sharing any part of my dogs and their life on my social media any longer.”
Another day, another “fan” upset with Kim Zolciak‘s social media content. At least it’s giving her a break from people bashing her cosmetic procedures.
Since Kim was called out, she decided to call out one of her haters by posting a screen shot that the person posted in a Bravo fans Facebook group. Kim wrote, “Well here is one of the jealous idiots!! Her account needs to be reported please help!! Wait til you see my next post! #ItsRescuesSweetheart #BoredMuch #NeedsAJob.” This Kim hater included Kim’s photo from her (now-deleted) Snap and she even included Kim’s home address. How on earth did she know what Kim’s home address is? Clearly she’s been tracking their moves for a while.
Kim posted another screen shot and wrote, “Another gem!! She needs to be reported as well!! These people are sick”
Kim’s longtime chef and honorary family member Tracey Bloom stood up for her boss in a lengthy Instagram post. Part of Tracey’s caption included, “Today was especially upsetting because a stranger, a lurker, a hater, a judger, and perhaps even a ‘fan’ thought they should call animal services on my family because they felt that by viewing a post on snapchat that their animals were being mistreated. Animal services was not there long after seeing the impeccable conditions that the dogs were in.”

So far, we don’t really know too much about the new girl Peggy Sulahian on Real Housewives of Orange County, but that’s not really her fault. Her second episode had her caught in the crossfires while Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd came to blows at a restaurant.
Nevertheless, I really appreciated Peggy trying to lighten the mood by making comments about the food and innocently trying to eat. I could not help laughing, but no one in the scene with her seemed to be paying attention to her at all.
It had to be so crazy for Peggy to meet Shannon and Tamra for the very first time during that dinner. That’s a real crash course in being a Housewife if you ask me. In her Bravo blog, Peggy admitted, “They were nice and welcoming…Tamra was a really good listener and was very vocal about her life. Shannon quickly opened up about her life as well which I respected and thought was brave. I didn’t expect them to be as warm and welcoming as they were which I appreciated very much.” Usually the new girl gets hazed pretty hard, but considering that the battle lines have been drawn with Shannon and Tamra vs. Kelly and Vicki Gunvalson, everyone can use another person on her side. So obviously they are all being nice to Peggy.
Clearly Peggy has never seen this show since she was beyond shocked by the plate throwing and screaming that went down at The Quiet Woman. Peggy said, “That was so mortifying! I tried to keep it together and act calm on the surface, but I was so embarrassed to be a part of that and to witness it in general. How could they comfortably argue in public and not be ashamed?” That’s how this show works. Housewives love arguing in public.
And to be honest this restaurant has received so much publicity from it so whatever embarrassment the owners/managers had that nice has to be alleviated considering that The Quiet Woman is now an iconic location in Real Housewives history. Peggy joked, “I kept trying to change the subject to the food and how good the vegetables were, but of course, nobody understands my humor!”
Peggy continued, “So this was all new to me… What I don’t completely understand, is how Shannon went from zero to 100 that quick. She couldn’t control her mouth with her vulgar vocabulary and aggressive hand gesticulations on the dinner table. Part of me had that reaction, but I do understand her frustration with Kelly and how she was provoked.” Neither Kelly nor Shannon was completely in the right when it comes to this situation. Peggy added, “Maybe Shannon stormed off at her daughter’s cotillion class the same way she stormed off on Lydia [McLaughlin] last week…”
Being a Housewife isn’t for the faint of heart so it should be interesting to see how Peggy holds up for the rest of the season since she admitted, “By the end of the evening, I was completely shaken up. Lydia kept asking me if I was doing okay, but I was trying to act calm on the surface.” I really don’t see how she could be too affected by this. She got a front row seat to a very interesting show. This is how reality TV is. She knows what she signed up- or at the very least she should have known.
Still, Peggy did make a valid point: “I mean, there were plates flying around that dinner table…my entire life was on mute for weeks after my surgery, and then the moment I get out of the house, there’s cat fights going on at the dinner table.”
Peggy said, “It seems like Lydia was more concerned than I was which is so compassionate of her, but I’m slowly learning to just not engage in those quarrels.” Considering that Lydia is the one who invited Kelly without telling anyone and she didn’t even get called out for it, Lydia should be anything but concerned. She should have just been grateful that Kelly and Shannon didn’t blow up on her.
Peggy continued, “Hopefully the air gets cleared between Shannon and Kelly, because life is too short! I just wanna party!” Same, Peggy. Same here.
Aside from innocently trying to enjoy her meal in the middle of conflict, Peggy also talked a lot about her mastectomy and reconstructive surgery during the last episode. In a recent Instagram post, Peggy posted about her surgery saying, “Thank you Dr. Strawn @scultura_plastic_surgery and Sheena @hemkin for being so amazing, and for doing such a great job.” In another post she admitted, “I can’t wait to get these bandages off.” Good for Peggy.

Big Brother 19’s Paul Abrahamian wants to be this year’s mastermind. So far, he has succeeded in manipulating the Big Brother house week after week. Everyone trusts Paul, so much so that they’re not playing their own game but his game. The only two players standing in Paul’s way of total game domination are Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf.
Both Jessica and Cody have stood up to Paul, but he has bested them every chance he’s gotten. First, he made Cody look like a fool when he couldn’t nominate him for eviction during the first Big Brother 19 week. Then he blindsided them in that week’s eviction: he flipped the house to vote out Jillian Parker instead of Christmas Abbott.
Then the following week, he evicted Cody from the Big Brother 2017 house. Next, he blindsided them again last week, well almost blindsided them. Cody and Jessica should not trust or do anything Paul wants them to do. However, this week, Paul has been working hard to get Jessica to get rid of her boyfriend by not using her Halting Hex power.
Paul has been selling Jessica all the pretty little lies that she wants to hear. Jessica seems to be on to Paul…yet, she still might do his bidding. Today’s Power of Veto ceremony may determine whether Paul gets his way or whether Jessica will rebel.
Jessica really wants Paul to take her off the block, and then put Alex Ow on it. If Paul does this, this might be enough to convince Jessica to let Cody go. If Paul doesn’t do this, Jessica may realize that following Paul’s advice and plans are never a good idea.
So what happened during today’s Big Brother 19 Power of Veto ceremony?

Paul went with option C. He chose to remove Jason Dent from the block. In case you forgot, Jason went on the block as a result of the Temptation Competition. Paul not removing Jessica could backfire on him, and make her even more determined to take down Paul. It could also backfire on Jessica if she gets overconfident that they’ll evict Cody over her, and then doesn’t use it, because the house is already considering blindsiding her yet again by evicting her instead of Cody.

Everyone is talking about the fight between Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd at The Quiet Woman during the last episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, but very few people are calling out Lydia McLaughlin for being the one responsible for Kelly’s “surprise” appearance.
Lydia is the one who invited Kelly to show up. She also seemed so shocked when Kelly arrived and claimed to be embarrassed by the incident as if she didn’t know what show she was on. Now, Lydia is standing up for herself after a pretty questionable episode.
Lydia wrote about the last episode in her Bravo blog.
She recalled, “We start off still at Ava’s birthday party again, and as the video clearly shows, Shannon storms off without hearing what I was trying to say and without letting me explain myself. Tamra [Judge] does explain to me where Shannon is coming from, and how even hearing Vicki’s [Gunvalson] name upsets her… however, she tells me this AFTER Shannon is already upset with me. After I have already brought it up and the damage is done. She doesn’t keep asking me to stop talking about it, so I kept bringing it up. That’s just not what happened as you can clearly see.”
Just because it wasn’t shown on camera, that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, Lydia! Even though Lydia also made this same claim when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live after Tamra and Shannon both tweeted that Tamra asked Lydia numerous times to stop bringing up Vicki.
Lydia wrote, “It has been insinuated by some of the other ladies that I was trying to stir things up. This couldn’t be further from my heart. I was trying to smooth things over and advocate moving forward. It does nothing for me to have women fight. It upsets me. Why would I want someone to fight?” To earn your spot on the show so you can promote your magazine.
Still, Lydia asserted, “That is an attack on my character and I am offended by that. If I could do it over again – would I mention Vicki to Shannon? Of course not! However, hind sight is 20/20 and you will see I don’t continue to talk about Vicki to Shannon.” I would rather have Lydia infuriating Shannon every episode than hear about her antiquated magazine ever again.
Lydia claimed, “When Kelly walked in I knew there would be trouble. I obviously invited Kelly and she had said no. I didn’t feel the need to tell the girls I invited her because she wasn’t coming.” Actually you should have asked Shannon and Tamra if it was alright to invite Kelly since they are the ones who invited you to dinner. They were the hosts and Lydia took it upon herself to invite other guests without permission. SMH, Lydia.
The pot stirrer continued, “When Tamra said she saw Kelly walk in the door, I quickly got up to go to Kelly and ask her why she was here! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to talk to her in time and she was already in a confrontation with Shannon in the bathroom.”
Lydia said, “I was very impressed that Tamra kept her composure at the QW. She was upset with Kelly, just as Shannon was, but Tamra was able to control her emotions. I still left that dinner embarrassed and sad for everything that happened.” Props to Tamra and her newfound Christianity.
Lydia droned on, “As you can see from my reactions, I just wanted everyone to ‘hug it out’ and have a toast and move forward. Watching it now, I realize there are a lot of issues going on between the women that I had no idea about. I really haven’t been in the loop the past few years, and I wish I had understood in the moment what I understand now.”
Lydia has been on this show before. She has a TV. She has access to the internet. How could she be so clueless to what she was getting herself into? Even if that is the case, how can she be so clueless when it comes to social tact? Don’t invite someone’s known enemy to a dinner that she planned. Seems simple enough to me.

Tom D’Agostino is the gift that keeps on giving – he really should be holding an apple during the Real Housewives of New York opening credits. Not only does he have more story lines on the show than most of the Housewives, but his (alleged) antics also provide so much entertainment for the fans in between seasons thanks to the constant press coverage.
When Luann D’Agostino started hyping up her marriage, this is so not the kind of attention she wanted for. It seems like every week there’s a story about trouble in paradise or some (alleged) shadiness on Tom’s part. Now he supposedly met up with an “attractive blond woman” and the rumor mill is churning, yet again.
According to an oddly detailed report from Page Six, “An attractive blond woman at [famed dive bar] Murf’s in Sag Harbor was seen getting a text from D’Agostino … one of her friends blurted out, ‘That’s her married ex-boyfriend Tom, who’s still in love with her.’”
That is an awful lot of information for someone to “just happen to overhear.”
After that text was read out loud and discussed, Tom supposedly showed up 45 minutes later. Page Six made it a point to note that Tom “showed up at the bar, solo, wearing his wedding ring, but likely loving his surroundings since the dive bar wouldn’t be a spot his usual circle of friends would find him in.” Again – an awful lot of random detail there.
Then he supposedly waited for this woman’s friends to leave before “putting his hand over hers. He went in to get even closer to her, but she pushed him away noting that people could still be watching. It looked like he was up to no good.”
Of course, Luann adamantly denied this story, telling Page Six, “We are together in Sag and are happy. He went to meet mutual friends for drinks. There is no story there.” Tom pretty much said the same thing: “Luann and I had a great weekend together in the Hamptons. We went to a dinner party together and I went out to meet our mutual friends for drinks after. Luann knew where I was and who I was with. There is no story here.”

That “Peace In The Middle East” Halloween party that Reza Farahan threw on the last Shahs of Sunset episode was beyond outrageous. He had to know that it wasn’t going to go over well with the fandom.
So of course Reza had to answer for that unusual theme and his “F*ck Iran” comment that he made when he and Shervin Roohparvar were Andy Cohen’s guests on Watch What Happens Live.
After pointing out the menorah, hanging animal carcasses, piles of money, and themed cocktails, Andy couldn’t help asking, “Is any of this not offensive?” Reza clearly didn’t think so since he said, “Andy, look at me. You know me and what I say. Is that offensive for me?” Andy replied with, “I don’t know.” All Shervin had to say was, “I didn’t take offense. I didn’t come up with the theme either.”
Andy wasn’t done with the tough questions though. He told Reza, “Talk to me about the ‘F Iran’ thing. ” Reza explained, “So I’m gay. Iran kills, stones, hangs, and lashes young, gay teens to death on a regular basis. So do I want to say ‘F’ the grandmother who takes care of her grand kids in Iran? Absolutely not. When I say ‘F,’ that place, I’m talking about the regime, the government, the religious dictatorship, not the beautiful citizens that I used to be one of.” Shervin served as the voice of reason (as usual) and said, “In all fairness, you said ‘F the country.'”
Moving on from world issues, Reza discussed Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s comments about Asa Soltan Rahmati giving birth to a child out of wedlock…while she herself is trying to conceive a child out of wedlock. Reza asked, “How are you calling someone else’s kid a bastard when you’re wanting to have a bastard?” Exactly.
A fan called in and asked Reza how he was able to forgive GG Gharachedaghi after she struck his husband Adam Neely and he actually had a very mature and logical response: “I was angry with her for a very long time and it was literally eating away at me. She was taking a lot of space in my head. It’s a lot of work being angry at someone you care about. At some point, it was like I can’t do this anymore. I either need to cut this bitch out of my life or I can’t do this anymore.”
On the After Show Shervin swears he’s not cheating on his current girlfriend even though Reza called him a manwhore.

Eileen entered Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills with such promise, such poise, and such unabashed glam, but then it all fell apart when she got caught in the trap of Yolanda Foster‘s Lymeness, and a strange parenthetical argument about intent and manipulations and the bounds of friendship. Eileen was always too cerebral for this show.
Soap opera veteran Eileen joined the show in season 5 alongside her close friend Lisa Rinna. After decades on Days Of Our Lives and The Young and Restless, it seemed like no drama could defeat the Daytime Emmy winner. Then Eileen ran into Brandi Glanville‘s wine glass and Kim Richards‘ denial!
SEASON 5:

Eileen’s finest RHOBH moment was escorting the ladies to a suburban shopping mall movie theater for a screening of her B-List alien movie Stranger At The Pentagon. Eileen you were our leader for making Lisa Vanderpump eat a hot dog!
Eileen and her actor-husband Vinnie lived in Malibu with their son Jesse, and Vinnie’s sons from a previous marriage. Their love, like so many in Hollywood, began with an affair – over 15 years ago. Since Brandi is the patron saint of scorned and adulterated women everywhere she was not happy with this information, but she was happy to meet one of her soap idols!
Over a drunken dinner Brandi tossed Eileen $20 bucks – literally – to act out a soap scene, when Eileen declined, Brandi drunkenly sloshed wine in Madame Davidson’s face to provoke her into going all diva. Like a true veteran, and a class act, Eileen rose ethereally above the fray. She should’ve snatched Brandi’s cash and used it to pay for dry cleaning!
In the spirit of forgiveness Eileen decided to share one of her favorite hobbies with the women with a poker night in her home. Mistakenly she invited Brandi and the inimitable KimKillah Rambles Richards. Kim’s dramatic and loopy ride in a limo with Lipsa escalated into a messy driveway brawl with Kyle and Brandi for Kim’s control. Poor Vinnie found himself trapped in the garage watching the worst movie ever made. And there weren’t even concession stand hot dogs! If you bet on crazy, you always lose!
With the Richards sisters approaching insanity, Eileen put her own dysfunctional family drama to use by trying to mediate. While Kyle appreciated the sentiment, Kim was furious (forever) at Eileen for meddling and intervening. Aren’t Eileen’s facial expressions always everything … so scornful, dismissive, just the perfect soap opera sneer!
Despite the drama, and Brandi’s increasingly poor behavior, Eileen found herself suckered into trip to Amsterdam where Kim’s incessant threats and provocations led to the uttering of my favorite Housewives of line of all time. It was Eileen, at the dinner table, sneering, “You BEAST” in response to Kim’s accusations. It was classic, it was epic, it was rendered irrelevant coupled next to Lipsa’s wine glass smashing and screeching. The beast left the building, but the mess Kim made of her insobriety followed the cast like a haunting ghost.
In that first season Eileen seemed a guiding force of sanity and good advice, but something must have gotten to her. I believe that something was called the Many Manipulations Of Yolanda Lyme-Aid Foster Hadid. Season 6 was not Eileen’s finest hour.
SEASON 6:
The drama began in the Hamptons where LVP was hosting a white party. Eileen and the ladies weren’t content with the hotel accommodations and surprise rented a house – without telling their hostess, save for a rather crude note left by Eileen! That evening over dinner, a spurned LVP casually – ever so – verbally cornered Eileen about how her marriage began with “an affair.” Eileen took offense, because she thought Lisa’s tone and her inference were not in making casual conversation but to make her look like an adulterous.
Eileen confronted LVP about the matter about 35 times, however it seemed no matter how many fits and starts and attempts and terse conversations they had, LVP could not apologize to Eileen’s satisfaction. Was Lisa truly sorry? Was “I apologize” just the same as meaning “I’m sorry…” Did LVP plan to hurt Eileen’s feelings with her question? Or was she just trying to get to know a new friend better? Eileen decided she couldn’t trust that LVP… So she went on, and on, and on about it insatiably. Too bad Yolanda couldn’t have loaned Eileen some tranquilizing herbs!
Eileen was already on the warpath with LVP and then during a conversation with Lipsa about Yolanda’s illness, Eileen managed to plant a seed in Rinna’s head that she was the victim of LVP’s attempted side-angling.
Enter: Lisa Rinna and Manipulationgate. It occurred when Lipsa questioned if Yolanda was perhaps embellishing her Lymetastic Journey, like maybe she actually suffered from Munchhausen, which would explain the mysterious symptoms and things that didn’t add up.
Lipsa apparently came to this conclusion during a conversation with LVP and Kyle, off-camera. Lipsa claimed LVP encouraged her to bring it up, and she also told Eileen that LVP wanted her to say KYLE was responsible, not her. Eileen began leading the charge to paint LVP as a master manipulator with both Lipsa and Kyle under her control. She was ‘determined’ to figure out what exactly happened: Did LVP accuse Kyle saying something, or was LVP just wanting it known that Kyle was also present when the something-hausen was discussed. Eileen Davidson, Lady Detective, should’ve auditioned for a role on Law & Order instead!
Eileen would. not. let. it. go. Much to all of our chagrin. We were subjected to weeks and weeks of Munchhausen-Vestigation that went on and on. See, we had liked her; we had really liked her! And we had not so much liked Yolanda. Yet Eileen made the dubious mistake of trying to topple RHOBH’s queen, and Kyle wouldn’t back Eileen and Lipsa’s claims – even if she did have questions. Even if Eileen had a fair point, viewers would not stand for it, and neither would LVP.
During the trip to Dubai, Eileen led an interrogation, or inquisition, into what LVP said, and what she knew, and if she did perhaps manipulate Lipsa’s into mentioning the Munchhausen, or was it all a kaftan-covered misunderstanding?

By the time we got the reunion no one wanted to hear another world about the Three Ms of RHOBH: Munchhausen, Manipulation, and Misunderstanding. Because what the hell were they even fighting about? And why was Eileen so involved? And lastly, why on earth was Eileen so upset that a person she didn’t consider a friend didn’t apologize satisfactorily after hurting her feelings? By the end of the season Eileen and LVP weren’t “really f–king good,” or even really good at all, things between LVP and Eileen were actually really f–king bad to the point where LVP threatened not to return to the show.
SEASON 7:
I was all for giving Eileen a chance to redeem herself in what turned out to be her last and final season, but Eileen has buttons that once pushed never ever recoil.
C’mon Eileen I willed her. C’mon Eileen lighten up, have fun, and learn to LET IT GO with some Frozen flow. Before the reunion Eileen’s mother passed away, but she kept it a secret. So season 8 opened with Eileen still reeling from that death and others in her family.
With her relationship to LVP in shambles, Eileen instead turned to fan-girlng Erika Girardi in a friendship that was kind of creepy, kind idolizing, and kind of well, cute, until it got a little icky in Hong Kong when Eileen’s attempts to diffuse a situation went too far and nobody knows what Erika, this rare and special breed of plastic-coated diamond, goes through at night! F–k you Eileen for being empathetic! I guess that’s what you get for aligning yourself with people who have multiple personalities, right?!

Eileen also managed to rise above a definitely insulting comment LVP made implying Vinnie had gotten lost in another lady’s skirt at a party. Perhaps that comment, not “innocuous” is what put panties so in Eileen’s mind all season?
Yes, since demons never die on this show, Kim returned with the formidable force of her sobriety to create a fight with Eileen and Lipsa that accused Lisa of being Eileen’s puppet, that altercation spiraled into Lipsa’s loose lips presuming all sorts of things about Kim’s life.

Eileen, if she is nothing else, is a good and loyal friend to the crazies. To a fault and to her detriment. She stood by Lipsa’s side while she struggled to recall if she said horrible things about Kim’s sobriety. Eileen, herself, attempted to breach peace with Kim. Kim is a lost cause, and anything that makes her look like the sympathetic victim is not OK with me, so the fact that Lipsa put herself in that situation and Eileen defended her, well, I mean Eileen is a better woman than me!
In her attempt at redemption, Eileen also found peace with LVP during the cast trip to Hong Kong for Lisa’s Stop Yulin Forever cause. Eileen, a dog-lover, previewed Lisa’s Yulin documentary and the two foes had a bonding moment during in which they finally saw some good in each other and no manipulation was to be had! Finally two good women, doing a good deed together.
Unfortunately, Eileen locked horns with Lisa’s friend Dorit Kemsley instead. The thing about Eileen, is that Eileen cannot stop sticking her foot in other people’s mouths. Her drama with Dorit was over an unfortunate little thing called “Pantygate”. Oh, if only we could turn back time…
Erika did not wear underpants to the event when she met Dorit’s husband, and PK saw Erika’s jewels. PK handled it badly, obviously. Dorit attempted to play the situation off by gifting Erika a pair of fancy-panties as a joke. Dorit told Lipsa, Kyle, and Eileen of her plan and they all thought it was a funny gaffe, until Erika’s uptight reaction left them realizing Erika had also forsaken her sense of humor with her panties!
Instead of Erika’s so-called friends being honest that they knew Dorit was trying to be funny, Eileen staunchly changed her tune and argued with Dorit about her intent, and her illusions, and if she was shaming Erika and trying to embarrass her instead of just trying to bring levity to a situation that never should have been on a reality show – and certainly not for 4000 episodes. But Eileen, likes to keep things long and drawn out. Maybe it’s all those years on soaps?
Eileen and Dorit had many miscommunications and just never found their peace. Eileen cannot let things go, and Dorit can never remember what she’s said and to whom (an affliction she shares with Lipsa, who also likes to gossip), and sometimes twists her words and her actions, so these two found themselves floating endlessly in the Hong Kong bay on a junk boat. And even a trip to Buddha couldn’t make it right.
So, after 3 seasons of many downs, Eileen decided to leave the show and focus on her soap opera career, leaving Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills drama to the reality stars.
Personally I think Eileen was always too normal for this show, and never much good at fighting (because she only played a bitch on TV — maybe), but her crazy jumpsuits will live another day in the Bravo archives.

With a tumultuous and long-standing feud between Reza Farahan and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi finally resolved, the Shahs of Sunset can get back to more important things, like peace in the Middle East. Just how does a Shah go about tackling the task that has eluded generations of people worldwide? By throwing a politically incorrect party, of course!
Reza and Mike Shouhed nurse their hangovers at lunch, while they recover from Shervin Rpoohparvar’s Malibu party the night before. Mike never went to bed and when Mercedes “MJ” Javid shows up, it looks like she hasn’t either….for days. Talk turns from being hungover to how much Mike’s family means to him and that includes family in Israel that he hasn’t seen in over ten years. Hey, wouldn’t it be “the dope-est” if all of the Shahs went to Israel too? Apparently so, according to Reza. He is looking to connect with the Jewish side of his life via a posh vacation with his friends. When they try and get MJ on board, she initially balks, saying she doesn’t want to leave her father while he is sick. But she quickly realizes that she needs a break from her stressful life and I guess another cast trip with this bunch of hooligans is something she might find relaxing. She thrives in chaos after all!
A very pregnant Asa Soltan Rahmati takes a break from talking about her pregnancy to go kaftan boutique hunting with her family. Just kidding, she is still talking about it, saying that her family business is even more important now that there is another family member on the way. And everyone knows you can only sell kaftans out of a non-working refrigerator for so long before you have to upgrade to a ramshackled store front, which is exactly what Asa is doing. The landlord (and old friend of Asa’s) shows up in his landlord-y best, which includes a sundress, pink tights, rainbow wig, and nipple eyelashes, that he immediately shows off to everyone. Is this included in the rent? Never mind that, Asa has some sage to burn and twirls of happiness to make around the space so that it is cleansed and ready to sell kaftans.
GG and thousands of her hair extensions are putting good things out in the universe and you know what that means – good things are coming back. Things like walking in a tacky sequined romper down a runway for some designer no one has ever heard of, I guess? Clearly, she must be friends with this designer and clearly, there is a shortage of eligible models for fashion week in L.A. because why else would someone risk having their clothes ripped off incredible hulk style, mid-catwalk if something doesn’t go Lochnessa’s way? I guess only time (and one fashion show) will tell.
Reza is shopping for his “Gaza Strip, Israeli, Palestine, Peace in the Middle East” party and guys, I cannot stress for the life of me the importance of quotations in this recap. These are Reza’s words, not mine. With that disclaimer out of the way, back to culturally insensitive shopping, y’all!
Destiney, who is off the People’s Couch and a supporting cast member now, shows up to help with the decorations. If this is anything like Mike’s party, Reza should know this isn’t a good idea but then again, Reza isn’t known for being classy when it comes to décor. He also isn’t known for being culturally sensitive but he explains that being a refugee from a war-torn country, where you can be hung for being gay, leaves him with a desire to poke fun at it as a way of coping with his feelings. He invites Destiney to the Israel trip since husband Adam Neely can’t come due to better judgment work. Destiney also likes “dope” things and taking a trip to Israel is one of them, so she happily accepts.
MJ, despite not being married, has some marital advice for all of us: you must date your husband until the day you die. I have some marital advice for MJ: you must marry a man for him to qualify as your husband. But my advice aside, MJ saying date nights are about romance and making sure your man knows that you still want to have sex. And how does one send up a smoke signal that you want to have a baby with said man? If you’re MJ, you simply tell him “eff it, I want to get ovulation strip and get pregnant.” If you’re fiancé Tommy Feight, your response is something along the lines of surprise, then a brief mention of being more responsible adults before bringing a child into this world, then saying let’s go for it. MJ reasons that Salma Hayek and Halle Berry did it, so why can’t she? I don’t have the answer to that but my guess would be that neither Salma nor Halle lived in a dirty, one bedroom apartment with no running water. That certainly wouldn’t preclude you from having a baby but it might make child rearing a little easier, don’t you think? With a big bite into a Korean BBQ rib, Tommy says he’s in and vows to stop and get ovulation test strips on the way home.
At L.A. Fashion Week, GG (not to be confused with Gigi, an actual supermodel), has arrived to the show and is already swigging champagne and ordering around hair and makeup like she’s been a horrible person all her life. Oh, wait…she has! Shervin comes to support her but can’t manage to even have a conversation, thanks to all the naked models in the room. Within minutes of arriving, GG’s mood gets darker than her raccoon eye makeup after seeing Janice Dickinson, one of the world’s first supermodels, wearing the tacky sequined romper SHE was supposed to be wearing! GG is about to throw some murderous vibes into the universe and snaps at the designer to get “that old a** b**ch another outfit”. Reza and Adam arrive just in time to see this and obviously, can’t get enough. Shervin is oblivious because, boobs. Finally, GG takes a deep breath and says “fine” to another equally ugly sequined outfit and the team puts the finishing touches to her glamorous roadkill look.
With Lochnessa contained, Reza decides to invite Shervin on their trip to Israel and Shervin takes a pass, saying it would negatively affect some of his business relationships. Reza is confused and doesn’t understand why everyone just can’t join him in feeling “Jew-y,” while GG can’t understand why she would want to go somewhere where they want to bomb Palestinians. Reza waives off her statement and a symbolic champagne bottle pops loudly in the background, startling them all. Reza is still trying to get everyone on board and thinks exclaiming “eff Iran” out of frustration will do it. GG is offended but doesn’t really have time to discuss it further since she has a catwalk to go trip down.
MJ has escalated pretty quickly on the baby fever scale and is already making Tommy pinky swear he won’t masturbate anymore. Her plan is to get knocked up and then have a legal wedding ceremony so her babies won’t be “bastards.” Oh MJ, if only anyone could take your idiotic morals to heart, but it’s so hard when you can’t even figure out how an ovulation test works. I know, it’s hard to read directions and pee on something without your fiancé standing over you to help, but I promise, it’s not nearly as hard as taking care of a baby, married or not. Maybe Salma and Halle are just better at reading directions.
Despite almost clawing Janice Dickinson’s face off at the fashion show, GG is transitioning to a calmer, happier person and that means clearing the toxic energy out of her life. Or, what normal people would call, moving. Shervin and Annalise come over to help and thankfully, there are no naked models in the room so Shervin can remain focused. They quickly find out that GG isn’t just harboring toxic energy in her apartment but boxes of old blow up donuts she used to sit on after her butt implant surgery.
Mike arrives and it turns out, his moving company is in charge of moving all the furniture and butt donut boxes. Yes, Mike opened a moving company and he says it’s not sexy but it’s a solid investment in a business because you can’t replace movers with robots. I didn’t know you could replace shoes with robots either so not sure why that business got tossed aside but whatever. Mike doesn’t even bother to wear his own shoe line to help move and is quickly complaining about scuffing up his new Adidas.
The night of Reza’s big party and everyone is going all out in costume. MJ gets ready eating fried rice in her bathroom while getting her makeup done. At the party house, Reza and Adam arrive, dressed in full Orthodox Rabbi costumes. Reza muses that since he is more in tune with the Jewish side of his religion, he hopes he can wear the outfit without being disrespectful. In his next breath, he is showing off his “sexy burqa bitches,” who are there to entertain and serve the party goers in headscarves and sequined bikinis.
Mike arrives as Moses, Asa arrives as…pregnant, but claims she is world peace, simply because she draped a white scarf that’s painted with a peace sign around her stomach. MJ is in a skin tight skeleton costume with side boob and Shervin comes in an orange suit, saying he’s an immigrant from the seventies. GG arrives in a full burqa and dark sunglasses, all which make it impossible for her to get drunk quickly.
GG still isn’t sold on going to Israel and when Reza asks, Shervin also expresses concerns about being welcomed. Mike promises that Israel is very accepting, but GG pushes back again, saying they are not of Muslims. It starts to get a little heated but GG’s real issue is Reza’s comment to “eff Iran.” In a surprising twist, Reza immediately apologizes, explaining that he loves everything about Iran but the government. Asa tries to bring resolution to the conversation by reminding everyone how important it is that they respect each other’s journey. That’s enough for GG to fully get on board and agree to go to Israel so she celebrates by grinding on Mike, proving that all you need is love and a little dry humping to make the world a better place.
