This season of Big Brother has taken us on a rollercoaster, with hookups, AI twists, COVID, and more. At the center of most of the chaos was Angela Murray, and let’s be honest, Season 26 would not have been the same without her.

Unfortunately, her game came to an end in last week’s double eviction and she became the latest houseguest to join the jury house. On her way out of the Big Brother house, she had a few parting words about her elimination. She said the double eviction felt like a scene out of a “low-budget movie.”

Angela Murray’s reaction to her sixth-place finish

Angela spoke to Us Weekly about her eviction from the Big Brother house, which came after being put on the chopping block twice in a row. According to her, Makensy Manbeck made a big mistake by putting her on the block in the first place. She predicted that it would ultimately cost her the game.

“MJ’s decision to nominate Leah and myself this week was nothing short of gullible and impressionable and honestly not good for her game,” Angela explained. “She should have saved us and kept us there. Instead, she’ll be probably the next one walking out the door.”

Outside of that light shade towards Makensy, Angela was surprisingly cool, calm, and collected in her exit interview. It’s a stark difference from the outbursts she had in the house. However, she doesn’t have any regrets about her behavior throughout the season. You’d probably act the same way if you were locked in that house for months.

“It was a game. It was not personal and we all are going to learn from this experience,” Angela explained. “I don’t regret any of the things that happened and I look forward to mending fences with both [Matt Hardeman and Lisa Weintraub], and I wish nothing but happiness and love and I know that great things will happen for them in their lives.”

Big Brother 26 continues on CBS and Paramount+ on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 9/8c.

What to know about RHOP newbie, Stacey Rusch

Spring is metaphorically in the air as the Real Housewives of Potomac premiere is just around the corner. And with the return of our favorite cherry blossoms, there is more drama and shade than ever. Sadly, the franchise lost Candiace Dillard Bassett and Robyn Dixon. But this means there is now room for new faces to hit the small screen. Let’s just hope that all of the women are welcoming to the new girl, Stacey Rusch

Stacey Rusch has entered the RHOP chat

All our favorite girls are back for Season 9 of Real Housewives of Potomac. But Bravo wanted to shake up the status quo by adding Stacey. The Bravo press release shared that Stacey has caused “lots of chatter. She’s a former QVC host and mother of an 8-year-old daughter. But after 16 years of marriage, is divorcing her husband. As she enters this new phase in her life, she is struggling with the decision to date again and navigating a romantic relationship with her best friend, who is choosing celibacy over intimacy.”

Stacey will fit right in, as half the cast is divorced, and she may be able to find solace in the other woman. Stacey’s soon-to-be ex-husband is Thiemo Rusch. A native of Germany, Thiemo is SVP of Sales Operations for Audi of America, Inc., and has held that position since 2020. Shortly before the pandemic, the couple spoke about their love story on Good Day, sharing how their love of travel bonded them. On a mother-daughter trip, Stacey was introduced to Thiemo while in the air. Their meet-cute started with Stacey saying, “Well, clearly, you’re not from Detroit.” Thiemo then took the empty seat and, as they say, the rest is history.

Who is Stacey Rusch?

Stacey has a solid social media presence. Her Instagram grid is filled with updates about being a mom and photos of her cute pup. Overall, Stacey comes across as a positive soul who often posts uplighting quotes. One recent post read, “Being yourself is the most beautiful thing you can be!” The mother of one’s bio reads “Psalm 37:4.” For those not brushed up in their bible quotes, this reads, “Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

The sneak peek of RHOP will show Stacey out in the dating world. Stacey has gotten back on the horse after her marriage ended, telling Ashley Darby, “I have someone in my life, but we are not intimate.” However, she will also be fighting an uphill battle as she defends Karen Huger at the risk of alienating herself from the group. But Stacey is not about to be a shrinking wallflower as the scene ends with her yelling, “It is her birthday! Show some respect.”

What does Stacey Rusch do for work?

For those who don’t know, Stacey made a living as a professional television reporter and TV host. She worked on Good Day Fox Five and Good Morning Washington. But she may best be known for her spot on the shopping channel QVC (Lisa Rinna, eat your heart out.) Stacey, who was born and raised in Detroit, had her own branded show. It was broadcast live to millions of homes across the country. So, the woman knows how to entertain. However, she recently left the network. In April 2024, she resigned with a letter that read, “With a heart full of gratitude, I’ve made a major life decision – to leave a job that I love, to focus on the most important job of my life, being a Mom.”

Stacey added, “I’m so proud to have worked alongside an incredible group of Hosts and Teammates, who are all so wildly passionate and talented. But most of all, I’m so thankful for the privilege of shopping with our viewers in their homes every night. Thank you.” She signed off by quoting Albert Einstein, “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.” Now that she has more time, Stacey has reestablished her love of Yoga. She was a private yoga teacher for the White House Athletic Center and American University.
