Erika Girardi Empathizes With Kyle Richards; RHOBH Preview: Kathryn Edwards Confronts Faye Resnick
With the Bethenny Frankel drama behind her, Erika Girardi chooses to focus on “more important topics” in her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills blog.

Erika empathizes with Kyle Richards when it comes to her issues with Kim, “I do understand Kyle‘s worry over her sister Kim. I have experienced people close to me in similar circumstances, and my heart goes out to anyone dealing with addiction.”
Another heavy topic at dinner, Eileen Davidson revealing that she is a victim of domestic abuse, “I applaud Eileen’s bravery for sharing her past experiences dealing with domestic violence. It takes a lot of courage to share such a personal story, and it is clear that even though this happened years ago, she’s still healing. I’d also like to thank Eileen for being kind and genuinely supportive of me. She’s pretty special.”
Erika says she was happy to attend Kyle‘s event in the Hamptons, “We all do different things professionally, and it is important to get out there and support each other.”
As for Yolanda Foster‘s implant removal surgery, Erika hopes for better days for Yolanda. “I’m really hoping that removing these ruptured implants is a key to her recovery,” shares Erika. “Picking up her and Paige (who is awesome, by the way) was a great way for Yolanda to come home. After all the love and support she has shown me, stopping in Cleveland to pick her up was the least I could do. I’m glad I could help in any way.”
Erika mirrors my own thoughts about Kathryn Edwards, “It was great to meet her at Lisa’s Hero Dog Awards event, and I look forward to getting to know her beyond a story of the past.”

Kenya Moore Slams Kim Fields And Phaedra Parks
Love her or hate her, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore doesn’t mince words or worry about being too harsh when talking about her co-stars. Kenya just lets the fur fly when it comes to sharing her opinions on the weekly episodes and we love her for it. This week she puts Kim Fields on blast and throws a little shade Phaedra Parks’ way.
Kenya starts off her blog this week explaining why she thinks Kim is too negative about her RHOA co-stars. “We’ve seen Kim speak about the “group” in a negative way before. She told Phaedra that everyone had their breasts out at my Kenya Moore Hair Care launch party and she “missed class,” thereby calling us classless or trashy. She quipped before that we all looked like we were always on a red carpet and she often makes disapproving faces and comments while she is with us.”
Kenya admits that she is over Kim’s nonsense and her negativity with regard to the brunch’s theme. “I’ve had a little too much of Kim’s self-righteous behavior. Her “beatless brunch” could have been to celebrate our natural beauty, which I think all of the women have, however, when her voice message specifically stated: “We need to be reminded what make up is for,” that is when the message was no longer positive for me and more judgmental and accusatory. Translation: “You all wear too much makeup and you need to learn to wear less, because I do not approve of how you look”.”
On Kim not wanting to co-direct Cynthia’s eyewear commercial with Kenya, “Kim believes she is too good for this group and too good to work with me. I guess she isn’t too good to need Cynthia’s check.”
On the subject of beauty, Kenya thinks women should be more supportive and not judge. “I am a queen in more ways than one and I’m very comfortable in my own skin whether that is in red carpet makeup of none at all — flaws and all, it’s in my blood. As I stated, as ancestors of Nubian Queens such as Queen Nefertiti, I fully own who I am and will not allow another woman to make me feel lesser than. No woman should be made to feel as though another women does not approve of the way she looks whether it be her dress, makeup, hairstyle, Spanx, surgeries, etc… It’s all self-expression and to each his own. Further, Kim is the last person to tell someone how to look. You cannot encourage anyone to celebrate their natural beauty having had multiple cosmetic procedures and while wearing atrocious wigs made of fake hair… Nothing natural about that at all. Don’t judge lest ye be judged.”
Kenya wasn’t too thrilled with Porsha Williams (I’m 98% sure it was Porsha who said it) when she watched this week’s episode. “I was deeply offended that someone would state in their interview that “I cannot give love because I haven’t been loved.” I’ve had an army of people love and cherish me my entire life, it just wasn’t my mother. I may have a hard exterior sometimes because I am very guarded, but when I do love someone, there is nothing more powerful and meaningful, because I know what it is like to feel abandoned. So in some ways I may over compensate in that area.”
Kenya is thankful to her co-stars for celebrating her birthday with her, but isn’t shocked that Phaedra Parks couldn’t be bothered to make an appearance. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. Thank you all for your many birthday wishes! I had a great time with Matt (@livefastfitness) and he gave me two beautiful new puppies I named King and Twirl. I also had a celebratory dinner. Thank you Cynthia, NeNe Leakes, and Sheree, my family and friends, and of course Matt for making it epic. And we all missed Kandi. (Side note: Phaedra couldn’t make it because she was too busy trying to come up with new ways to put me down for no reason).” Ouch!

Ashley Darby Defends Herself Against Gizelle Bryant And Gushes Over Her Much Older Husband
Ashley Darby made her Real Housewives of Potomac debut this week.
Ashley‘s first impression of Gizelle Bryant, “My initial reaction was, Are the Jacksons missing a sister? Hee-hee! Go on girl! I love to see attractive people at any time and place, especially when Sip with Socialites is raising money for a good cause (on the real, eye candy helps loosen up the purse strings).”
Ashley wasn’t as impressed by Gizelle‘s attitude as she was Gizelle’s looks.
“Gizelle needs to stop using (the few) words she understands in rap songs, and act like a middle aged woman with daughters. I despise the word hoe,” Ashley said about Gizelle calling her a THOT. “If anything it creates a division between women by implying that our value is determined by our sexuality. #ByeFelicia”

Defending her dancing, Ashley said, “I am a happily married woman who loves to have fun, so when I see someone with a sour face I’m going to do something goofy to lighten the mood. In this case, it was dancing with Robyn Dixon. Keep on hatin’ because even with the shade, I’ll still find the sun.”
About her marriage, Ashley said she met her husband, Michael Darby, when she was 22 and he was 51. “At the time, I was working at night, going to school during the day, and enjoying my youth 24/7,” she admitted. “I was talking to my manager in the main office when I watched Michael walk in on the security camera. Sweet baby Cleatus! Even with a blurry, black and white picture, I was hooked. Love at first sight is real, y’all!”
“There was never any confusion about his age – I knew Michael wasn’t a young stallion, but he has this je ne sais quoi quality about him,” gushed Ashley. “When I (nervously) approached him I couldn’t say, ‘You should wife me up,’ so I asked about a marketing internship at his company. After a few months, I gathered up the courage to ask him out for a real drink and that’s all she wrote! Moral of the story: trust your gut and go for what you want.”

Ashley went on to say that she understands her marriage isn’t traditional and she expects questions, but she made it be known that Gizelle doesn’t need to worry about their, um, connection. 😉
“My relationship with Michael is anything but traditional, so I am not surprised that weaves shift when I talk about it. There’s a 29 year age difference, we hail from different continents, we are different races, AND we have polar political views. Patti Stanger would certainly never match us, but our common views on love and life create a strong underlying foundation in our marriage.”
Ashley continued, “The icing on our heart-shaped cake is a shared passion for adventure. For our honeymoon, we trekked Mt. Kilimanjaro which tested our relationship in a whole new way. Don’t fret – the romance never died, we joined the (15) mile high club. With those endorphins, who needs Viagra?!”
Personally, I like Ashley‘s energy. I look forward to getting to know her better. I hope that Ashley and Gizelle get on the same page, though, because I liked Gizelle last week. This week, I, too, was turned off by her judgement of Ashley.

Big Brother’s James Huling and Meg Maley on ‘Easiest Game Show Ever’ [VIDEO]
Remember Big Brother 17 alumni Meg Maley and James Huling, the most adorable not-couple ever? Well, the two of them have popped up again as guest contestants on Pop TV’s Easiest Game Show Ever. No surprise, considering that Pop TV is owned by CBS Corporation, which also owns Big Brother — and the network is fond of recycling their reality TV stars.
The Easiest Game Show Ever “gives contestants the chance to win up to $100,000 cash by answering 20 simple true or false statements about pop culture,” according to the show’s Facebook page. Hosted by actor and comedian Michael Ian Black, the series pretty much lives up to it’s name, as long as you are a decent pop culture buff.
Amusingly enough, the host actually mistakenly says Meg and James were on Big Brother 16. They were on season 17, of course, but apparently that wasn’t enough of a mistake to bother editing it out. With that kind of fail start, we are well prepared for watching Meg and James totally fail to win that $100,000 by answering a bunch of “simple” true/false questions. However, they did earn a little bit of cash.
Meg and James are decently funny to watch with their back and forth banter, reminding us why they were among the two most entertaining Houseguests on the Big Brother Live Feeds.

Last night was the premiere of Stevie J and Joseline Hernadez‘s spinoff show, Stevie J and Joseline Go Hollywood.
It’s been rumored that the tumultuous Love & Hip Hop Atlanta couple split after filming wrapped – Joseline bleached $40,000 worth of his clothes and shoes, plus destroyed vintage Bad Boy records memorabilia and Versace china in a jealous rage over Stevie working with Faith Evans – but they were very much together at last night’s premiere party, held at Atlanta’s Twelve.
