They both love hoods, vigilante justice,...American Idol season 7 runner-up David Archuleta talks now, 10 years later, about how the show’s producers used their power to inflict pain on him and his family.
Is Scheana Marie dating Adam Spott? That is the question that Vanderpump Rules fans have been wondering in between seasons. These two have been sending a bunch of affirmative signals on social media.
Conversely, Scheana described her relationship status as “single, hanging, and banging” in September. Long story short, there have been a lot of mixed signals and these two have really built up some intrigue going into Season 7.
Scheana shared a photo of herself and Adam on Thanksgiving. Does that confirm their relationship status once and for all? Let’s examine the caption.
Scheana wrote, “Thankful to have so many amazing and positive people in my life … especially this guy! @spottmeagram #thanksgiving #blessed.” Yes, she did mention other people in that post, but she did throw in the ever-popular “this guy.” It sure seems like they are dating, but the fans don’t know for sure. Again, they are pretty likely to remain quiet about it until Season 7 premieres.
They did go on a trip to Iceland together. That sounds like something a couple would do, right? Then again, close friends go on trips together too.
However, there has been recent speculation that Scheana is dating a Tom Tom employee named Max Boyens. Scheana and Max attended the Vanderpump Dogs Gala together. It was reported that there was some PDA between the dates. Of course, Scheana did not confirm or deny the romance. Could this Max guy be a new cast member on Vanderpump Rules? Is this the lead-in for a Tom Tom spin-off show? Maybe Scheana was just doing a favor for production by bringing Max as her date.
What about Adam? Will we see more of their relationship on Vanderpump Rules? Or will it remain a social media mystery forever? Does anyone else miss the Rob Valletta chatter? Or is it just me? OK, so it is just me. Carry on.

As we all still manage to digest the turkey, pumpkin pie and leftovers from this past week, we’re also trying to digest the crazy-epic blindside we witnessed on Thanksgiving Eve. Of course, I’m talking about last Wednesday’s episode of Survivor: David vs. Goliath. This season, by all accounts, has been amazing. It begs many of us to ask the question the non-Survivor-watchers. What the heck are you doing if not watching Survivor this season? Do you not like great television? Or in the words of Russell Crowe: Are you not entertained???
It was a Thanksgiving treat that came early, maybe for all but Dan Rengering, the Goliath who seemed to be in the absolute best position…until he wasn’t. It was one for the ages and included a second-straight “Hall of Fame” caliber Tribal Council the likes of which we have – literally – never seen. And if you missed any of the action? Dan Rengering became the first person in the history of Survivor to go home NOT with an Idol in his pocket, but one around his neck. He successfully played a hidden Idol on himself, only to have the Idol “nullified” by Carl‘s Idol Nullifyer secret advantage. This came on the heels of Nick successfully playing his “steal-a-vote” advantage to take away Alison‘s vote. This perfectly aligned the Survivor Gods on David’s side.
It was the second Idol in a row that Dan played, having used his other one unsuccessfully on Angelina the week prior. But the kicker with the Idol Nullifyer is that it wouldn’t have mattered if Dan had had 100 Immunity Idols. According to current Survivor rules, you can only play one on one person. Then, there was absolutely nothing Dan could have done to avoid being sent home…no way, no how. No escaping his fate. This, coming from a strong player who just two weeks ago had two Idols in his possession, was in somewhat of a budding showmance with Kara, and whose tribe sat in a clear 7-5 advantage heading into the second-vote post-merge.
Survivor can sober you up pretty quickly (maybe not for those of us drinking from home, but for those actually in the game). Unfortunately, Dan became the victim of one of the biggest twists the game has ever seen. He became the third person on the David vs. Goliath jury. DAN RENGERING INTERVIEW
On that unbelievable Tribal Council:
Dan Rengering: [The David’s] have great poker faces at Tribal…there was no clue at all until Jeff pulled out that Nullifyer. I knew my name was coming up because Christian had told me before we left for Tribal that my name was on the block, but I was like, it’s cool dude, I’ve got an Idol. No big deal (laughs).
On why he had played his first Idol on Angelina:
Dan: I had told her that I was going to. It was something that I definitely struggled with, I mean, you can see that all over my face at Tribal. But I’m the type of person that if I tell you I’m going to do something, that I’m going to do my very best to get it done. So I had to do it because I told her that I would. Not only did it get rid of that Idol away from me, the one that everybody knew about, you know, it took that little bit of a target off of my back, it tied Angelina to me for the rest of the game in my mind-set, and it proves to the rest of the Goliaths that I’m here to be Goliath-strong and to take care of our alliance, whatever needs to be done.

When Kathryn Dennis shared a Thanksgiving photo with Austen Kroll, my first thought was “Wait. These two are friends?” Yes, I know that they are both cast members on Southern Charm, but have we ever seen them interact onscreen? No, not that I recall.
It makes sense that these two would become good friends through this shared experience of being on the same reality TV show. Even so, it still feels so random to see them hanging out together, let alone on Thanksgiving. That’s where my head was at. However, one Instagram user had a completely different reaction to the photo. Someone had the nerve to insinuate that Kathryn is pregnant. Yikes. Yes, that happened.
Kathryn posted a cute photo with Austen on Instagram. She captioned it with “Happy Thanksgiving y’all! Christmas cards comin’ soon.” Innocent enough, right?
One Instagram user commented, “Someone looks prego.” Rude, much? Kathryn responded with, “No, I have just gained weight.” And there’s nothing wrong with that. Good for Kathryn. As per usual, she’s just keeping it real.
Not only that, but it’s the holiday season. Who isn’t eating a little more than normal? Plus, no one could blame Kathryn if she ever wanted to indulge in some stress eating. This woman has a lot going on these days.
Austen commented on the post with a comical response. He wrote “*Some* of these people are absurd. Thankful for you! Oh, and my stomach is still recovering.” Maybe, just maybe, that commenter was saying Austen was the someone who “looks prego.” Probably not, but that’s nice of Austen to deflect with some humor.

Last week, a man from 90 Day Fiance cast member’s Larissa Dos Santos Lima‘s past, Marcos Hack, came forward on social media claiming to be the father of one of her children. He said that they share a son, that she had left behind in Brazil. Larissa confirmed the information, revealing that she also had a daughter. She briefly explained why the relationships ended and why neither child was in her custody.
Over the weekend, Larissa felt the need to go further into detail about her past. This time, the post was more focused on her emotions and the desperation she felt being a young, single mother. Larissa posted her statement twice, one in English, and the other in Portuguese.
Larissa explained the situation in a lengthy Instagram post. Larissa’s relationship with the first of her baby daddy’s started while she was in nursing school. Not only did she leave school for the sake of the relationship, but she moved away from her family and her support system. According to Larissa, the relationship ended badly and put her in a precarious situation when her ex-boyfriend refused to pay child support.
She continued, “I spent all my savings and I tried everything to find a job, but in Brazil, as everyone knows, life can be very hard sometimes. For this reason, I decided to let his aunt adopt him, she was always there for me and she loved him very much. This decision still breaks my heart today and it is a very delicate matter to me. It is a regret that I have to live with and I don’t need anyone point the finger on my face. I already suffered enough.”
A few years later, she was a single mother once again with no financial support from the baby’s father. Luckily, this time Larissa had reconnected with her father and had his help to care for her daughter. She was able to continue working her minimum wage job. Larissa describes the current arrangement, “I always took care of her and now she is with my father in Brazil temporarily. My father is a retired military man and he and his wife are great grandparents, they have a lot of time for her, I talk to them every day on whatsapp and I plan to bring her to live with us very soon.”
Larissa finishes her post by sharing her hopes for the future. She wants to have a relationship with her son, “I really hope I can reconnect with him one day when he is old enough to understand that I made the best decision I could .”
As for her daughter, Larissa hopes to bring her to America once her relationship with Colt Johnson has settled and her citizenship is in order. She says,” I wanted to try my life here with Colt first, I want to move to a “Biggie house ” and make sure the relationship will work out before I bring her. I also want to open my business to be able to support my daughter.”
Followers of the show know that Larissa is portrayed as a gold digger. Could there be another take on the situation? Maybe the truth is that she is a mother trying to make a better life for her child. More deceptive things certainly have happened on reality TV. Why else would she put up with no AC in the desert, a live-in mother in law who also controls the household finances, and calico clothed cats?

The feud between Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice has been revived on Real Housewives of New Jersey. Once again, the drama stems from personal family matters. Teresa’s adorable father Giacinto Gorga told his son Joe Gorga that he misses him and wants to see him more. Giacinto shared the same sentiments with Melissa.
Teresa and her daughter Gia Giudice rallied for Giacinto and encouraged Joe to see his father more. Joe claimed that he was so busy with his business. Teresa wasn’t buying it. Both Joe and Teresa dragged Melissa into it. The whole thing is just a mess. It could easily be resolved by a phone call or a lunch date here and there. Nevertheless, it is the focus of the season, at least at this point.
Melissa shared a photo of herself and her kids visiting Giacinto in the hospital. Melissa admitted, “Tonight’s episode gives me a little Anxiety. I know you get to only watch one hour of our 24 hour day but as you watch please know this. My father-in-law is Joe’s pride & Joy.”
The Real Housewife of New Jersey insisted, “He has never missed a day visiting him in the hospital ever. Teresa and Joe spend countless hours visiting him around the clock. BOTH of them do. We are family and we have real disagreements and real arguments but at the end of the day, we are family. We will always pull through.”
She concluded, “There’s a couple insulting accusations tonight that put us at odds. But remember nothing means more to us than our family and it never will. Joe ALWAYS Makes time for his father more than the average son. We all love him very much.”
Joe shared a hospital photo of his own. In the caption, Joe wrote, “Thankful that this guy is getting better! Thankful that I can help him spray the hairspray in his hair so he looks good on Thanksgiving. He’ll be home soon. Happy Thanksgiving.”

Congratulations are in order for Snooki and her husband Jionni LaValle! The couple has a baby on the way! They are already the parents to son Lorenzo and their daughter Giovanna.
Jersey Shore Family Vacation viewers saw Snooki take a pregnancy test- before heading out to the bar- during a recent episode. She was not pregnant at the time, something she was admittedly upset about. Now, she just has happy news to share and she received a lot of support from her Jersey Shore co-stars.
Snooki broke the news with a sweet Instagram post. She shared a photo of her children Lorenzo and Giovanna holding up a framed photo of a sonogram. Along with the photo, Snooki wrote, “What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving.”
The couple also has an Instagram account for her daughter Giovanna. On that account, she shared another photo from the same shoot and wrote, “I’m going to be a big sister!”
Jionni shared the news with his own social media followers when he shared a photo for his wife’s birthday. He wrote, “Happy Birthday Big Momma!!!!!#FamilyFirst #JustThe5OfUs.”
Her best friend Jenni “JWOWW” Farley commented on her post, “I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED.” She wasn’t the only Jersey Shore castmate to comment though. Snooki’s reality TV family is very happy about the news.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino commented, “Congratulations Sis. Love yah.”
Mike’s wife Lauren Pesce, now Lauren Sorrentino, wrote “Yay! So excited for you guys! more babies!
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola wrote “Woooo!” on the post along with some smiley face emojis.
DJ Pauly D just let the emojis do the talking.
Deena Nicole Cortese, who is expecting her first child, wrote, “They are going to be best friends!!!!! Love you meatball!!!!”

Left to her own devices without editing or intervention Vicki Gunvalson will always shoot herself in the foot, then still try to put on heels and hobble away. Last night’s segment of the Real Housewives Of Orange County reunion was the perfect example of Vicki at her most Vicki-ness. Reunion part 1 was also way better than anything we’d seen all season.
The most important part of any reunion is to dissect the outfits. First of all, Shannon Beador looks great! I don’t know if it’s the glowy spray tan indicating a break from Dr. Moon‘s holistic practices of wiping Shannon’s entire body in tan resistant mineral powders to ward of surface level UV free radicals, or the 30lb weight loss, or finally shedding her toxic friendship with Tamra Judge, but Shannon looks better than we’ve seen her in years. THIS is the divorced Shannon we were craving all season!
Gina Kirschenstoptheinsanity looked like she was auditioning to be an extra on Glow. I’m sure she will tell us it’s Long Island style… It was circa 1983.
Emily Simpson looks about how I’d expect her to look. Part midwestern pageant girl all grown up; part trying to be classy power broad. I actually think Emily was a good asset this reunion and played her strengths as a mediator just right. Kelly Dodd was bringing the cougar, as opposed to the hoochie mama. Tamra was just basic. Finally, there is Vicki, swaddled in cluelessness, disillusion, and lack of remorse. It looks good on her!
Right off the bat, there is no love lost between Vicki and Kelly. I’m not sure how it got so nasty in between the end of the season where they appeared to be getting along, and present day where Kelly is openly hostile towards Vicki before Andy Cohen is through introductions. We’ll dissect this in detail later.
The most exciting part of the whole reunion was comparing Vicki’s relationship with Brooks Ayers to Dirty John. YES! For basically all of my Real Housewives recapping life, I have been waiting for Vicktim Gunvalson to have the realization that her life is essentially a Lifetime Movie (ONE WHICH NEEDS TO BE MADE IMMEDIATELY), and that Brooks is an A+ villain of mansplaining (cancersplaining?) atrocities.
I have also been waiting for Vicktim to finally admit that she had an affair with Brooks. Last night my patience was vindicated when she finally did. Feeling safely ensconced in the idea that we all finally understand that she wasn’t an intentional cancer-scammer, but herself the victim of an evil relationship, and people will forgive as proven by Connie Britton! Maybe Vicki should send Connie a solidarity casserole?
So yes, Vicki admitted to leaving Donn for Brooks but she still blames it all on Brooks filling her Love Tank with Hallmark Cards until it runneth over into debt, betrayal, and stained carpets. Vicki claims she felt “insecure” in her marriage to Donn, which led her to seek emotional validation from Brooks. It’s probably because Donn was normal and not a vituperative cesspool of drama, which Vicki requires to satisfy her endless vat of Me-Me-Me affirmations. How Briana Culberson and Michael Wolfsmith have turned out remotely normal is Bravo’s greatest unsolved mystery.
While Brooks is not a murderer like the subject of Dirty John, Vicki argues, “He murdered my self… esteem and my pocketbook.” And Vicki is not done enacting revenge! She plans to go after him for all the money he owes and she has in her possession … duh, duh, duh: AN EX-CEL SPREADSHEET to prove everything! OOOoooh. While all the women agree that chasing down Brooks to wrestle apologies and checks for wrongs is a waste of time and energy, they don’t agree on whether or not Vicki will marry Steve Lodge. I say yes.
Shannon and Tamra now believe that Steve and Vicki are legitimately in love. Kelly thinks that Steve sees marriage for having children and probably won’t pop the question. Emily “admires” their relationship and thinks it is made of happy endings, not podcasts of peril. Vicki swears she’s learned from her Brookstakes and this time is going to counseling before any marrying occurs.
Gina wishes she’d heard of that new fangled talk therapeeee thingy, but in Long Island they just have bars and affairs and like nobody talks throuwgh any of their prrraaaablems. Which is why she’s getting divorcesed. Also Matt Kirschenheiter never told her she was beautiful or appreciated her. And that means she’ll be the one ending up with a Brooks-type next! Because affirmation-less love means all roads lead to grifters – with or without teeth!
Last night I actually think Gina did a good job explaining her divorce and where things stand. Throughout the season she always seemed so flippant about it. Like, whatever, today I went to Target, and I bought some nail polish, and frosted blue eyeshadow this one is called Flying High Blueberry, and I got a toilet brush and since my marriage is in the toilet, I also bought a divorce. It was on sa-ale. Gina should’ve also bought eye makeup remover, but baby steps to her small house!
Speaking of, Gina still hasn’t told her kids about the divorce and she’s still renting her She-sita on the weekends when Matt visits. She also insists she wasn’t separated when she joined Real Housewives Of Orange County. Instead, her marriage was in a “down period” and she actually hoped TV would bring them together! Um… Didn’t Gina say she had watched the show before joining?! Hilariously Shannon commiserates – as that’s also what SHE believed would happen when she joined RHOC. Instead, David Beador’s affair was outed! Gina and Matt weren’t cheating though.
Well, at least Vicki apologized for saying Gina didn’t have a moral compass. Which is oh-so hilarious coming from a woman whose moral compass was set on Brooks and Fake Cancer. Tamra is wearing a corrupt halo compared to Vicktim. Gina’s reunion hair did resemble one of this Renaissance religious paintings, so maybe she was trying to be the living embodiment of “the higher the hair, the closer to god.”
Now, finally, with all this stuff no one cares about out of the way, we get to break down the Vicki vs. Kelly accusation-fest. Oh man. That was … real, real bad. This is what I don’t understand about Vicki: her need to self-sabotage. Whenever she is ahead in the game, she does something stupid like stop to take a selfie at the 50-yard line and then doesn’t get the winning touchdown.
Anyway, Vicki majorly dropped the ball last night. We were all like look at Vicki apologizing to Gina, making headway in admitting things like that she left Donn for Brooks, being compassionate, seeming f–king NORMAL for once, and then she accuses Kelly of using cocaine to stay thin and calls her a neglectful mom. As appealing as an image of Kelly being Elvira Hancock from Scarface is, VICKI – YOU DO NOT SAY THINGS LIKE THAT! Even if Kelly called you fat. Which was wrong.
Even if Kelly called Vicki a “pig” on Twitter and I agree, fat shaming is the pathetic, low-brow stuff of immature bullies and Kelly should not be showing that behavior to Jolie. But still, Vickitim, YOU DO NOT SAY THAT. You do not make accusations that could ruin someone’s life because your feelings are hurt over a reality TV argument!
This all started over whether or not Vicki was wrong for hiding from Kelly that Michael was dating their mutual friend and going on double-dates with Vicki and Steve. The real issue is that Vicki is spiteful because she can’t have her cake and eat it too. I.e. Steve and Michael aren’t friends anymore because of all the drama, and clearly, Vicki blames Kelly.
Also, Vicki likes having the upper hand. Like look I’m friends with your ex-husband and KNOW things. For most people, they wouldn’t want to be in this awkward situation of potentially hurting both their friends, but Vicki is a drama-seeking missile of terribleness. Or a silent but deadly fart! Vicki, don’t ever leave Real Housewives Of Orange County!
Vicki just can’t admit – even with every other woman on the stage against her – that she should’ve just been honest with Kelly from the jump. Even Kelly maintains that she wouldn’t have been mad if Vicki had just told her what was going on. Vicki still argues that Michael didn’t want her to, and refuses to see how this makes her DISLOYAL to Kelly by choosing her friendship with Michael (aka Steve’s friendship with Michael) over her friendship with Kelly.
Perfectly (and poignantly), an enraged Kelly finally compares Vicki to a fart, “silent but deadly,” because Vicki’s MO is to tell people things behind their back, expecting that person to do her dirty work in public outing it. Kelly was that person in Ireland, and Steve is that person now. I personally don’t agree that Steve got used by Vicki as a mouthpiece. Was Kelly used? Yes? No? Maybe. Kelly is pretty vitriolic and does lots of damage on her own, but she’s correct that Vicki always wants to look like her hands are clean as she’s wiping the blood off on the back of her friend’s skirt. Vicki isn’t savvy enough to be premeditated. She just talks a lot of shit without realizing the possibility of it being thrown in her face later.
Anyway, all of that culminated with Kelly calling Vicki a fat ass and Vicki accusing Kelly of using coke to stay skinny and ditching Jolie to party which she claims Michael told her. Apparently 6 months ago – the last time Vicki spoke to Michael – he said being married to Kelly was “14 years of hell” and that he had Jolie a lot more than she does.
Collectively every woman on that stage made a face like she’d smelled a horrific fart. They did – it was Vicki’s odorous words! They all just froze as Vicki realized what she had said and desperately tried to backpedal. “Lies! Lies! Liza Minelli! That’s what we should call you,” Kelly shouts. Vicki backpedals the way Shannon rides an exercise bike. She actually just made things worse by trying to Vicksplain how Kelly travels a lot and like Michael has to watch Jolie. Gina said, “SHUT UP – YOU’RE MAKING IT WORSE.” Thank you Gina, for once.
Shannon tried to be the peacemaker by pointing out that both Vicki and Kelly have gone too low and too far with their insults. Honestly, they both seemed shocked by how nasty they were being; hollowed out by how far their rage, misplaced and overly-aggressive towards the wrong source, had taken them. As Kelly wiped tears away and Vicki sputtered, they offered half-hearted apologizes before the break. However, in the dressing room, Kelly calls Michael and threatens to “hit” Vicki. On the stage, Tamra lectures Vicki. Vicki proving that she’s not really sorry, mutters, “That’s what we heard” about Kelly using cocaine. She looks to Shannon for collaboration, but Shannon averts her eyes. Even Shannon is smart enough to know this is NOT a road you go down.
Vicki is 100% in the wrong. I don’t think there’s any walking back from this for quite a long time. Even if Michael did tell Vicki those things about Kelly, he was likely venting, aka NOT meant to be repeated! Isn’t this an argument Vicki actually had with Kelly after Kelly shot her mouth off in Ireland? Vicki claimed she was just venting about the other women behind their backs and had no intention of it ever seeing the light of day. *sigh*

On last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta we got intimate with Shamari DeVoe. Porsha Williams met Dennis McKinley‘s mom, and it went… like a dumpster fire.
If only Kandi Burrus would listen to an expert – her daughter Riley Burruss – she might not be visiting Dr. Jackie Walters to inquire about how to bring more Tucker Tots into the universe.
Since Kandi had fibroids and a high-risk pregnancy with Ace, she and Todd Tucker are considering a surrogate (or two!) to make babies out of their two remaining embryos. Until they learn surrogates – the good ones who aren’t hanging in the hood – cost $100k per uterine rental, and Todd might not even get to rub their bellies. At least Todd realizes he better get to work at the OLG instead of just sampling fried chicken and cocktails while talking about work.
It’s the middle of the day so what’s a hardworking couple to do but meet for cocktails and cigars?! Eva Marcille considers it a grown up decision that at least her cigar isn’t laced with weed like it would’ve been in L.A. Also she’s stopping at one cocktail because she has to pick up the kids from school. The newborn is in school? Eva and her fiancé Michael Sterling need to discuss wedding plans, but Eva isn’t actually interested. She hired a wedding planner, and also plans to just rely on the advice of NeNe Leakes, who is like a big sister to her. Actually it seems like Eva wants NeNe to be her celebrity wedding planner. And NeNe’s ego is more than obliged to be considered a paragon of marital virtue. Is Eva just ignoring that little mid-marital mini-divorce she had from Gregg?
Porsha meets Dennis’s mom Gina. After trying to bribe her with a Louis Vuitton wallet as a birthday gift, Gina comes in with the money shot to ask if they’re moving way too quickly towards the altar and making sure a prenup is in the same box as the ring. Porsha chokes on her wine as Dennis mumbles about how it was love at first sight. Or love at first booty call… And after leaving the restaurant you know Mama Gina was calling Mama Joyce for advice on how to get rid of an unwanted future child-in-law…
Cynthia Bailey‘s exciting storyline this season is that she and Mike Hill have a couples hashtag. Cynthia + Mike = #CHill. Coma is more fitting, but at least Cynthia’s consistent!
Shamari and Ronnie DeVoe‘s twins are turning one. Shamari wants a royal-themed birthday party in blue and gold. Party planning on Real Housewives Of Atlanta always makes me mourn for Phaedra Parks. Anyway, Shamari brings Ronnie’s mom with her to the party planner and winds up royally f–ked when she mentions that she and Ron once had an open marriage.
For many years Mama DeVoe didn’t like or trust Shamari and believed she was a gold digger. She was! Ron’s mom was so adamant about weeding Shamari out of her son’s life that she passive-aggressively sent Christmas cards addressed only to him. Dang – Mama Joyce is looking weak by default here! In reality, Shamari was a legend hunter and thought she could tame a legendary beast!
Mama DeVoe started respecting Shamari when she stood by Ron after infidelity… or so Ron’s mom thought! Instead of being the submissive wife, Shamari used it as an opportunity to explore being “bi-curious” and pursue a relationship with a woman she was interested in. “When you open up the doors you let the devil in,” Mama DeVoe lectures sternly. Shamari declares, “He ain’t in here no more.” Oh rly…?
At least Shamari is open (see what I did there) about the mistakes she’s made and the steps she and Ron have taken to make things better. Now Ron and Shamari are sharing their lessons with the masses by hosting marital seminars together. Then Shamari spends $900 on two cakes to smother her cheap past with some decadent sugar coating.
For the first time ever Cynthia is breaking the serenity of Lake Bailey by inviting ALL the women – at one time – to a Fourth of July potluck she calls a “BaileyQue.” All the ladies are invited to bring a +1 to up the drama ante.
To commemorate the momentous event, Cynthia gets 5 Red, White, & Blue balloons at the Dollar Store. According to rumors spread by Eva, this is also where Cynthia bought Will Jones last season and paid him to be her date. Meanwhile, Eva is making NeNe cry tears of egotistical joy by asking her to be in her wedding to provide love, light, and laughter. Marlo Hampton is suspicious of this move because this IS NeNe we’re talking about – although she is much softer this season – and also Eva has been ultra shady as of late.
NeNe invited her friend Tanya Sam, who is a frequent “baller” at Swagg and also shares the exact same birthday as NeNe. That’s where their similarities end because Tanya is also a tech mogul, and NeNe is the mogul of awful wigs. Tanya arrives at the party being one of the only people who actually cooked her own dish … and then she has the gall to also be carrying the same bag as Marlo! I liked Tanya so far, too bad she never became a full-time Housewife. She seems classy and confident, without being desperate. Ahem, Shamari.
Eva arrives with a literal trough of guacamole as if to make up for the fact that no one likes her. She also took pictures of her preparing the food just in case anyone questions the validity of her Publix-free food. Really, Eva? And Marlo is “extra”? I mean, obviously Marlo is the definition of extra, but Eva is extra too!
Porsha violates the +1 rule by bringing a now pregnant Shamea Morton along with her sister Lauren. In the car, Porsha warns Shamea that Eva still has some unfinished business with her – but you can’t come for a pregnant lady. Unless you’re coming with pickles! Predictably Eva is not thrilled to see Shamea, but Shamea returns the favor by completely ignoring her. Porsha was too busy examining the hot dog spread provided by Dennis to even notice the tension. “He’s so amaaaaaazing!” she gushes. “He’s brought all of his wonderful weenies to the party!” Oh heavens. I wonder if Dennis had his sidepiece make all them footlongs?
Cynthia confuses a BailyQue with a Bridal Shower and makes everyone play a cheesy game called Pass The Peach. A question is drawn from a box. Then if you’re holding the peach, you either have to answer or pass it to the person you think fulfills the answer. No one addresses the first question about who needs a makeover in the group. Marlo is more than happy to call out Eva as the “biggest Liar” to answer the second question. This gets Eva all fired up – especially when Marlo also calls her basic. “How I lie I have no idea, but where I DO lie is on my bed, comfortably next to my man,” smarts Eva. “Where do you lie, Marlo? Next to who?” I think Eva means “whom” not “who.”
Then, of course, Kandi, who loves to pile on the extra shade like it’s too much bean dip on a plate, points out that Eva is being extra shady towards everyone – especially Shamea who she keeps trying to feed said bean dip. Eva doesn’t even get done defending herself to Shamea when Cynthia brings up that she’s heard Eva was telling everyone that she paid Will to date her. Eva denies/not denies that she said it, and that peach is spinning in circles. “I don’t know if Eva is a liar, but it seems like she’s getting a little caught up. It’s looking a littlllllllllle … stupid,” observes NeNe.
Everyone is naming freak numbers when Cynthia asks if anyone has been in an open relationship. I’m sure that question was purely coincidental! [wink, wink] Shamari doesn’t just raise her hand, but leaps up, both hands held high. Now THAT is confronting shade and rumors head on! Take note, Eva!
Shamari is willing to share all about the terms and agreements of her open relationship with The Legend, whose rule was that she couldn’t be with another man. This has all the women giving the side-eye. Because Ron was still allowed to be with other women. Shamari reveals that she slept with about 2 women during that time, while Ronnie “probably slept with about 10.” Shamari also claims she stopped the open relationship when she realized she wanted Ronnie alone. The question is did he stop HIS open legs policy?! Also, something tells me Shamari isn’t as cool with this as she’s letting on…
Kandi, surprisingly, is completely against open relationships. She likes to keep her men on a tight leash!
