On tonight’s Real Housewives of New York episode, Tinsley Mortimer told the cast that she was back with Scott Kluth and she’s moving to Chicago. Well, you can’t be a New York Housewife if you don’t actually reside in New York. And since we all know Tins and Scott are engaged at this point, it’s been understood for a while that this has to be Tinsley’s last season on the show.
While the episode aired, Tinsley shared some words about her experience as a Housewife on social media. And, spoiler alert: she used past tense verbs, signifying the end of her time on the show.
Tinsley shared an Instagram post with some video footage of her engagement and some photos filming Real Housewives of New York throughout the years. She wrote, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all my fans and friends who supported me and are happy for my fairy tale ending.”
She acknowledged, “Without #RHONY, I would never have met my prince charming, Scott. Being a Housewife was such a fun experience, and I thank @bravoandy and all the wonderful people at Shed Media and @bravotv.” She concluded her post with “I love you all so much!!!” And she shared some hashtags: “#chicago #couponking @couponcabin #fairytale #legend #happyending.” #legend is overkill, but anyway. Let’s move on. Dorinda Medley may not be happy for Tinsley (ever), but most people are.
Andy Cohen commented, “Thank you for your eggs and [mom] Dale [Mercer] and all the fun!”
Leah McSweeney told Tinsley, “You give me jaded ass hope! Love you Tinz.” Sonja Morgan commented, “Omg the wedding dress. I hope you wear that ONE.” Clearly, Sonja didn’t realize that was just a screenshot from the episode when Tinsley tried on wedding dresses and FaceTimed her frozen eggs.
Sonja also took credit for all of Tinsley’s happiness with another comment. Sonja wrote, “And without me you wouldn’t have met. So happy for you girl. You got the fairytale. Moved to NYC to live with a true girlfriend who was there for you with open arms. I got you on RHONY and my co star introduced you to Scott the man. May all your dreams come true. I’m always here.”
What a weird message. She does seem genuinely happy for Tinsley, but what was with all the compliments to herself? I guess Sonja’s not wrong about the series of events. It’s possible that Tinsley wouldn’t have been on the show if it wasn’t for Sonja. And if she wasn’t on the show, Carole Radziwill wouldn’t have introduced her to Scott. It’s just such a weird comment to leave, Sonja. I don’t blame Leah to responding to Sonja’s remark with “wtf?” because we all felt that.

By now, it’s safe to say everyone knows about the firing of Vanderpump Rules stars Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni. Stassi and Kristen were fired for their racist behavior when they falsely accused ex-cast member Faith Stowers of stealing and called the cops on her. Max and Brett were fired when racist tweets of theirs resurfaced.
The condemnation has been swift. Social media is rightfully outraged and Faith, all these years later, is finally vindicated. But not everyone has had to answer for their crimes in all this. Now, Faith and old castmate Billie Lee are speaking out about who else needs to go.
Both Faith and Billie Lee are calling for Jax Taylor to be fired as well. Faith told Us Weekly, “I just think it’s not fair to have two people who are very big on their platform, and benefit from the platform, go through something like this for their benefit and everyone else’s benefit because they’re benefiting by being able to take time to themselves and learn, educate themselves. I think there are other people that should be educated as well because they’ve made some pretty crazy mistakes and said some crazy — not even mistakes. They just said some terrible things.”
Faith clarifies that she’s talking about Jax specifically, saying that other TV personalities have reached out to her about it. “I didn’t even know the depth of the crazy things that they were saying. And so like, I got DMs from other shows, from other females on other shows saying that Mr. Taylor had said some crazy things to them that were racial,” she explained.
Faith said, “So I think he gets a pat on the back a lot. But I think that if you’re going to do it for two people, they should do it for some other people as well.” As a reminder, Jax also falsely accused Faith of “grand theft auto” and incorrectly claimed that she went AWOL from the military.
Billie Lee feels the same way. Us Weekly reports that hours after Bravo made the announcement, Billie Lee took to Twitter. She tweeted, “@BravoTV what about Jax Taylor? He refused to film with me because I was trans and called him out on his white cis privilege. Stop celebrating his disgusting actions. #canceljaxtaylor.”
It’s hard to understand why Jax is still employed at this point, to be honest. Even fans are calling for his firing at this point. Yeah, Jax makes for great TV with his drama, but he has wronged way too many people. And this time, he went too far.

After what seemed like only moments since getting fired from Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder has again set viewers ablaze with discontent after watching part 2 of the season 8 reunion. Andy Cohen called out Lala Kent for disparaging remarks about Scheana Marie during an episode of the aftershow. Lala said, “It isn’t interesting to watch a 34-year-old woman in a crop top and slutty Jojo Siwa pony doing the same thing over and over again.” Amidst tears, Scheana explained how hurt she was.
As Lala then burst into tears while trying to explain herself, Stassi and fiancé Beau Clark‘s camera switched to full screen. She subtly whispered, “Lala might be bipolar.” None of the other castmates noticed. However, the viewers at home sure did! And they took to social media to call out Stassi for casually tossing around mental health diagnoses.
Recognizing how flippant Stassi’s comment was, one viewer took to Twitter and wrote: “Hey @stassi calling Lala bipolar isn’t cool. Bipolar disorder is a real disorder that many people, including myself, struggle with. To throw out an accusation so casually diminishes the disorder and it isn’t cool. Reflect on that along with your ignorant beliefs.”
Another fan referenced Stassi’s 2018 incident involving Faith Stowers that recently resurfaced. This viewer said: “@stassi you can see yourself out with that ‘bipolar’ comment about Lala. Generalizations about mental illness are completely unacceptable, as re ones about race. Unreal.”
Having zero tolerance for armchair psychiatry, another viewer said: “I guess Stassi made a flippant remark about Lala being bipolar when they were talking about her attacking people & I’m just… tired. Sick of these people throwing serious diagnoses around to explain shitty behavior. I’m bipolar, I don’t scream at people for no reason.”
A plethora of fans have called for other cast members to be fired. Or for the show to be canceled, with another viewer writing: “I’m sorry, who is Lala from Utah to be talking about other women’s sexuality and character?! And also @stassi with that bipolar comment?! Jesus just cancel this show please.”
“Hey LaLa, Stassi just called you bipolar and she won’t have a reunion next year to apologize,” another fan of the show wrote.
Lala and Randall Emmett’s initial wedding date has come and gone. They postponed due to the pandemic. Another viewer brought up how tasteless Stassi’s comment was given she was supposed to be in the wedding party: “I love how Stassi called Lala bipolar when she was supposed to be in her canceled wedding. Friends, am I right?!”
“At least Stassi whispering to Beau that Lala might be bipolar is consistent with her brand. Joking about falsely calling 911 on someone AND mental health… hilarious,” another viewer tweeted. And this brings up another point — this isn’t the first time Stassi has flippantly diagnosed her castmates.
Back in Season 5 and during the early days of Stassi’s podcast Straight Up With Stassi, Stassi and Jax Taylor met at a bar so she could record an interview with the self-proclaimed reformed bad boyfriend. After taking a sociopath test (SPOILER ALERT: He was declared a sociopath with flying colors!) Stassi went on to suggest that Jax shouldn’t feel bad about being a sociopath.
Daily Mail reported that Stassi remarked, “I mean, Tom Sandoval is probably a narcissist, Kristen [Doute] meets most of the criteria for borderline personality disorder, Ariana [Madix] has a superiority complex, Katie [Maloney] has anger management issues, Scheana’s a hypochondriac and I’m an alcoholic- so, he’s in good company.”
Neither Stassi nor Lala have commented on the remark, which aired only hours after the firings.

Angela Deem was introduced to the world on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days. Her outrageous personality solidified a slot on the following season. Angela chastised and belittled Nigerian fiance Michael Ilesanmi. She gifted reality TV junkies with memorable moments that include presenting Michael with Trump boxers and smashing a cake in his face.
And this colorful matriarch often included her family during filming. Angela’s two daughters participated in her scenes on the show. In her first season, Angela would often video chat with daughter Scottie. Then, Angela asked her other daughter Skyla to carry her and Michael’s child. But what we saw on TV falls short of a shocking truth that came home to roost for this family last year.
Scottie was indicted in September 2018. The charges include one count of statutory rape, one count of aggravated child molestation, and eleven counts of child molestation representing eleven instances of abuse with one victim in 2017.
Scottie agreed to a plea deal in early 2019. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison for each count of child molestation. The terms were to be served consecutively. But Scottie ended up serving only a fraction of the time. Later, the court announced that Scottie would only need to serve two years in jail and spend the remaining time on probation. She was released from prison after 15 months.
Starcasm shared prison records indicating that Scottie was released on parole May 6. Based on previous reports, she was to serve a minimum of two years, so Scottie’s release went under the radar.
It was only after Scottie posted a video to her social media that her early release was discovered. Scottie posted a video of her kids giving support to the Black Lives Matter movement. She doesn’t appear on camera but is heard in the background speaking to her children.
According to prison records, Scottie is now on probation. Luckily for her, even the probation period is cut short and due to end on January 31, 2021.

It’s only been a few days since the Vanderpump Rules bombshell was dropped. In one Instagram post, Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni were fired from the show for racist behavior.
Despite it being well known before the announcement, Stassi and Kristen skated by for a few years under the radar. Their firing stems from how they treated ex-castmate Faith Stowers, a black woman. We’ve all known that Stassi and Kristen are mean girls but they went next level on Faith. They falsely accused her of stealing and called the cops on her. So after the news came out, both Stassi and Kristen issued apologies on social media. But did anyone actually reach out to Faith about it?
Faith talked to People and revealed that Stassi hasn’t reached out at all. According to Faith, “Stassi has done nothing.” She continues, “She made a statement, but that was it. I haven’t seen anything from her privately.” Faith says Stassi, “hasn’t apologized directly” outside of her social media post.
Kristen on the other hand, has reached out via DM. But Faith isn’t buying the sincerity, saying, “Kristen DM’d me after receiving pressure from people to.”
Faith does hope that both Stassi and Kristen learn from this experience. She says, “When they do realize the power that they have, I want them to utilize it for good. They shouldn’t be shunned for what they did, that won’t help them. I want them to listen and learn. Maybe we will see good things from Stassi and Kristen down the road.”
That’s a really mature perspective, given what Stassi and Kristen put her through. But this has been a long time coming for Faith. She recently said she feels “so vindicated” about the whole thing.
Still, Faith says she is feeling “good about” everything that has happened. But she didn’t anticipate that “it would get this big.” Faith says, “I brought it up two years ago and I felt I wasn’t being heard and now I’m being heard. I feel like Bravo and Lisa [Vanderpump] have also let me know that they’re in support of me by making sure consequences came with those actions.”
And she’s rightfully expecting more from Bravo. “I don’t want this to be a one-time thing,” Faith says of companies using their platforms to take action against racism. She adds, “I want this to be sustainable.”
Despite it taking far too long, Faith has been vindicated, just like she said. And the best anyone can hope for at this point is that she’s right about Stassi and Kristen learning something from their actions.

In the fallout of celebrities being exposed for racist activity, Vanderpump Rules has suffered much needed losses. This is a good thing. Discrimination in any form should not be tolerated, be it by skin color, sexual preference, or how one identifies as a human being.
Treating people horribly and basic intolerance isn’t new for Pump Rules. Who hasn’t had Lala Kent’s finger stuck in their face at this point? Let’s face it, Stassi Schroeder’s career was born from treating people like dirt. It seems we have been watching a show centered around systematic bullying. Sure, people have fun and drink. They go on fancy vacations. But there is usually one cast member receiving the wrath of a particular clique. Former SUR employee Billie Lee often felt victimized and misunderstood during her tenure on the show. Apparently when she tried to speak up, Lisa Vanderpump strongly advised her to stand down.
Ponder this, Stassi and Kristen Doute were chopped because they falsely accused Faith Stowers of a crime. An exercise in racial profiling at it’s finest. Neither received much backlash until the entire world decided it was finally time to take action against bigotry. Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were also given a pink slip for spewing ignorant words on social media ten years ago. The point is, nothing was done at the time and action only seemed to be taken when racism became a trending topic.
So what does a cast member do when the VPR posse targets them? While Billie didn’t evolve into a fan favorite, her appearance on the show was a feather in the cap for transgender people and allies. Unfortunately for Billie, the cast never warmed up to her, but they cited Billie’s general attitude, not her LGBTQIA status.
Billie wrote a blog, titled Dear BravoTV. She shared her thoughts on the cast’s white privilege, views on Faith, and a statement Lisa allegedly said. Page Six shared a portion of her article. According to Billie, when she publicly spoke about the show and Bravo in a negative manner, Lisa called her directly. She explains, “When I publicly questioned the show and network I got a call from Lisa herself demanding I not speak negatively about my experience and the show.”
Billie questioned Lisa about the lack of diversity on the show. “She [Lisa] also explained to me about how she has black people around, ‘My number one server is black,'” Lisa allegedly replied. Billie continued, “Yes, Lisa you have staff that are black but your show (that has a massive audience) does not show him or any other black, gay, or trans person. Like Stassi, Lisa does not see how her actions are harming an entire race and gender.”
Apparently Lisa then told Billie, “I made your career and I can take it away”. Very interesting, allegedly. Why would this be said to Billie unless she hit a nerve? Is it possible everything she was saying was true? If so, is this Lisa acknowledging a problem and not doing anything about it? I’m really asking.
If we watch a show where morals don’t exist and ganging up on someone is the norm, can we expect a volatile group to relate to the plight of others? Is it time to do away with programs that promote shitty attitudes and basic white privilege? Or do these shows still provide entertainment? Maybe Billie got on a lot of people’s nerves. Maybe Billie’s attitude, not sexual orientation, poisoned her against the Pump Rules cast. Or maybe Billie was trying to speak up and told to hush by her boss because being anti-discrimination wasn’t on-trend at the time.
