Big Brother 19 Episode Recap: A Houseguest Leaves Early (07/02/17)

The Big Brother 19 houseguests start to settle into their new norm on tonight’s episode. Last week, we met all the 16 new faces vying for $500,000. Before the first episode ended, one of these players was already $25,000 richer. They also released a Big Brother 18 houseguest into the Big Brother 19 game.

Big Brother 19 Alex Ow

The following episode, Cody Nickson became the first Head of Household of the season. Cody set his sights on Paul Abrahamian, via the backdoor. He then started to form a power alliance consisting of Dominique Cooper, Mark Jansen, Jessica Graf, Matthew Clines, and Christmas Abbott. He saw the rest of the house as outcasts, and people to target.

Cody started to set his plan in motion by naming Jillian Parker and Megan Lowder as his initial targets. Megan was nominated because Cody didn’t like her, and Jillian for her association with Megan.

Megan was already having a rough week. First Megan became the target of Josh Martinez‘s erratic behavior and then her nomination. Tonight’s episode shows more of her spiral downhill in the Big Brother 19 game.

We also see if Cody is really serious about targetting Paul, or if Paul can use his social game to change Cody’s mind.

Find out what else went down on Big Brother 19 by reading our recap below.

**************************************************************

Megan tells the DR how it’s a lot being personally attacked by Josh (via their premiere night argument) and Cody (who told her he didn’t like her as his reasoning for nominating her.

We get a segment on the showmances (Raven Walton and Matthew , Mark Jansen and Elena Davies, and Jessica and Cody). Next Mark, Christmas, and Dominique have a conversation with Josh.

Mark tells him he needs to get perspective and appreciate that he has family to come home to, because Mark lost both his parents at a young age.

Big Brother 19: Power of Veto Ceremony Results (07/02/17)

When militant Cody Nickson won the first Big Brother 19 head of household competition, we knew it would be an interesting week. We didn’t expect it to be as interesting as it turned out. First, Cody told the diary room, and alliance member Mark Jansen, that he wanted to backdoor Paul Abrahamian. Then things just got crazier from there on Big Brother 2017.

Big Brother 19 Cody Nickson

When the Big Brother 19 Live Feeds started, viewers were shocked to learn that Alex Ow was on the block, but not from a veto competition. It had yet to take place, but instead, Alex became a replacement nominee when Megan Lowder self-evicted.

We then started to learn the events that took place leading up to Alex becoming the replacement nominee: there was accusations of racism and jealousy. On Friday, the first Big Brother Power of Veto competition took place.

Everyone wanted the veto to keep Alex on the block. She was the target and destined to go home. However, she said not today, and won the veto. Instead of freaking out, Cody seemed please by Alex’s victory.

Big Brother 19 Cody Nickson and Jason Dent

He discussed with his alliance members and showmance, the possibility of bringing Alex into their team. None of them thought it was a good idea. It became a major source of conflict for his relationship with Jessica Graf.

Cody then refused to tell his alliance who he planned to nominate next. He didn’t want to ‘implicate’ them. Yesterday, he started to make deals with Alex and Ramses Soto. The more he discussed his secret plan, the more it seemed like he was going to go back to his original plan of nominating Paul.

There are a couple major issues with this plan: (1) Paul won the Pendant of Protection, and therefore safe for three weeks, and (2) He’ll need to name a fifth nominee!

Today, the Power of Veto ceremony took place. Did Cody go with the plan to backdoor Paul? If so, who did he nominate in his place? Read below to find out who became the replacement nominee on this week’s Big Brother 19.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Cody nominated Paul Abrahamian for eviction.

However, Paul used his power and Cody was forced to nominate Christmas Abbott instead!!

Big Brother 19 Premiere Episode 3 Preview-What to Expect on Tonight’s Episode

Tonight CBS airs Big Brother 19’s first Sunday night episode. The 2-night Big Brother 2017 premiere revealed a lot about the new houseguests. For example, we found out that Josh Martinez doesn’t handle pressure that well. We also found out that people ‘just don’t like’ Megan Lowder. Next, we discovered that, on Big Brother 19, Jessica Graf is the only person who can crack a smile on stoic Cody Nickson‘s face.

Big Brother 19 Julie chen

Since the Big Brother 19 Live Feeds started, we have learned a lot more about the Big Brother players. We now know about all the showmances going on in the house, the alliances forming and breakinng, and the general dramatic events. One of the major things that happened this week is the self-eviction of one Big Brother player. Feed watchers have heard conflicting accounts, so tonight’s episode will bring some clarity to the whole situation.

Tonight’s Big Brother 19 episode should also reveal all the actions and events that caused his or her early eviction. We also will see what happened immediately after Cody nominated Jillian Parker and Megan.

The episode should also show the formation of the three major Big Brother 19 showmances. The last major events that we expect to see is who exactly won the Den of Temptation’s Pendant of Protection, and how he or she decided to take it. We also find out who gets the punishment because of this power being released on the house.

We expect another exciting Big Brother 19 episode, so join us tonight at 8:00 PM/7:00 PM CST for another episode recap.

Big Brother 19 Spoilers: Live Feeds Day 2 Highlights: Is Cody Secretly Targeting Paul?

As Big Brother 19 houseguests let their emotions override their logic, the Big Brother 2017 drama continued. Yesterday’s Big Brother Live Feeds focused a lot on personal chatter. We now know a lot about players personal opinions, and less about their Big Brother 19 game plans. Therefore, there wasn’t much to report game wise from yesterday’s Big Brother 19 Live Feeds events.

Big Brother 19 Live Feeds Day 3

Of course, we had more Big Brother 2017 showmance drama. This is to be expected when you have one too many showmances in one season. The most unexpected pairing, Raven Walton and Matthew Clines, seem to have the most stable showmance at the moment. Our second main showmance couple, Elena Davies and Mark Jansen, got questioned about the legitimacy of their showmance and it turned into an unexpected sore spot for Mark.

Find out what else happened in the Big Brother 19 house by reading our day 2 highlights recap below.

Cody’s Covert Plan

Big Brother 19 Cody Nickson, Jillian Park, Alex Ow

Cody Nickson continues to tell his unofficial alliance to trust him about the Power of Veto replacement. His main goal is to keep the couples (Elena and Mark, Raven and Matt, and Jessica Graf and him) and Dominique Cooper safe.

He worked on this plan by making a deal with Alex Ow and Ramses Soto. In exchange for keeping them safe this week, he wants them to protect his alliance. He also plans to make a similar deal with Jason Dent.

The more Cody talked about his secret plan, the more Cody’s renomination options narrowed. Eventually fans started to wonder if Cody plans to nominate Paul Abrahamian or Christmas Abbott.

Cody did not mention keeping either of them safe to his other alliance members. Paul seems to believe that he is in the large alliance with Cody and company, but Cody never confirmed this partnership. Additionally, on the Big Brother 19 premiere, Cody consistently spoke of wanting to target Paul.

As we know, Paul has three weeks of safety. Therefore, if Cody nominates Paul, he will then have to nominate someone else, giving Cody the record of making the most nominations in one week.

This will expose Cody’s secret vendetta against Paul. It will also force Cody to make another enemy. If that enemy stays (which is likely if he nominates Christmas in Paul’s place), he has another person wanting him out. Him nominating Paul also hurts Paul’s game, because he’s been lying about his secret power–and trying to make people believe Ramses has it.

Paul Revisits Big Brother 18

Big Brother 19 Paul Abrahamian, Matthew Clines, Elena Davies

Paul spent quite awhile last night talking about Big Brother 18. He gave his uncensored opinion on the cast of Big Brother 18. He basically stated that he thought they all had issues and were immature.

By choice, he claims that he’s not close with any of them. Paul then discussed how and why he thought he lost his original season. He believed the Big Brother 18 jury voted bitterly by giving the win to Nicole Franzel, and they would have done the same with James Huling.

The Dominique Show

Big Brother 19 Live Feeds Day 3

Dominique hosted a talk show for the Big Brother 19 houseguests. She plans to do this show every Sunday and Wednesday. On the first episode, she interviewed Kevin Schlehuber and Mark. The show is just a lighthearted way to get insight into the houseguest’s reactions to events going on in the house.

She may be sneakily using this show to get info out of people without them realizing it. However, she didn’t get much info last night. She did, however, cause some drama. During Mark’s interview, the houseguests attacked him with ‘audience’ questions, including one about his feelings for Elena.

Mark got nervous but he answered the question. All seemed fine, but later he complained to Dominique about being asked about his showmance. We saw a different side to the gentle giant as he wasn’t too pleased to be interrogated.
