Day 8 in the Celebrity Big Brother house begins with a Ray J-less house. Media coverage says he left the house due to a dental problem, but other than a small announcement at the beginning of the episode, and a clip in the middle, there is no other detail.
It’s shopping task day and housemates are a-waking in the land of nod. Leaders of the task are the “Dream Team,” comprising of James Jordan and Nicola McLean, whose job it is to ensure the housemates follow the rules. James reluctantly takes up the role – I lie – he’s loving it. The rules: no make up or appliances, no lying down during the day, no sleeping during the day, and no yawning. No wonder Ray J left – that was 80% of his daily activity. James J and Nicola get a free pass and are allowed to do what they like.

Bianca and Jasmine take Austin to task about his behavior the previous night. We don’t hear Austin’s response so I can only hope he’s showing a bit of remorse.
Part of the task involves housemates having to jump on trampolines when an alarm bell sounds. Angie mentions about the health benefits of the trampoline, earning herself a dirty look from Coleen and a telling off from Calum Best. Calum needs to stop acting as a buffer here and take some of his own advice. The cracks are beginning to show.
Stacy Francis is still sore about Jasmine‘s comments from the previous task. She’s sitting and ranting to other housemates about how Jasmine is prettier because it’s all fake – fake, fake, fake, fake, fake! When I say she rants… SHE RANTS… to the point Nicola politely laughs and walks away while Stacy is distracted. As does everyone else within spotting range, like when you have to walk past the strange bloke on the street that’s feeding pigeons and shouting a lot – avoid eye contact at all times. Stacy is literally looking around wondering where her audience went.
Another part of the task is to maintain six egg timers that are on a wall so that none of them run dry of sand throughout the task. James J is nominating people to watch them two at a time and puts Stacy and Austin together despite their previous arguments. Two minutes later, they’re at it again – nothing interesting or fresh, just arguing for the sake of arguing. Jedward singing their new song release while they’re in the house is almost a welcome break from the arguing. Apparently, this is something they do incessantly, so we thank the Gods of Big Brother for their editing.
Moving on, Big Brother has built an American Dream Obstacle course. Housemates will be divided into pairs; one will be blindfolded and the other has to guide them through. Nicola and James J had to secretly predict the pair that will be the fastest, and if they are correct, housemates will pass this part of the task. After a nifty bit of teamwork, Calum and Jedward are the fastest, as predicted, so they win this part of the task. And no one argued. I think that should give a bonus prize.
I think I might start using code words when talking about a fight. Like, “Stacy and Austin are having a grapefruit” or “Spencer and Angie share a strawberry.” And when they make up, they get something tasty and treat-worthy. On that note, Stacy and Jasmine apologize for fruit eating and they gave cake to each other. Stacey admits her insecurities over her looks and age, and seems to give a more genuine and substantial cake than Jasmine, but at least it’s not fruit.
Another part of the task has Austin answering questions on where James J ranks in certain questions about his fellow housemates – a task that is clearly set up to aggravate the tensions and the fruit intake. Thankfully, both Austin and James J are full and deal with the task in a grown-up manner. It was actually quite mundane, so we’ll move on.
Side Note: there has just been an interview with Austin appearing in the press from just before he entered the house, where he talks about needing help, even before he went in the house. It does give a bit of an insight and a little more understanding of his behavior of late.
As a reward for the task, James J and Nicola are allowed to invite certain housemates to a slumber party. Everyone is invited bar Stacy, Jasmine, Angie, and Jedward, who instead have to monitor the egg timers. Jasmine and Stacy unite (at last) by refusing to do this, and Stacy points out all the things she’s had to put up with during the week and the fact that it’s still not enough to be chosen for the party.
Angie walks in and shouts at her, calling her selfish and generally giving grief. Angie’s started to turn into a little dictator. No wonder she’s a personal trainer – the role suits her. And of course trainers like fruit. They like fruit a lot. Whilst the majority of the housemates party in the snug to the music, Stacy and Jasmine come out of the bedroom and join the other excluded housemates to help. Angie straight away rips into her, and they throw fruit again. Angie starts acting younger than she looks and becomes a child. I think she’s settling in.
We cut to the snug, where Austin is giving Coleen a lap dance. We hear Colleen scream, “I can feel it!” Scary to think this is the best bit of Austin seen so far in this series.
The show finishes to a sorrowful looking Stacy looking the part. Maybe she needs to rub her touche against Coleen too – like a genie? It worked for Austin, and I hope it’s permanent, because all the fruit and cake is making me hungry.

Well, lookie here, Kyle Richards decided to write a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills blog this week – just in time for her to explain why she thought a game night would be a good idea.
But first, Kyle blames her lack of blogs on the holidays and her new puppy.
“She is like having a newborn baby. Doesn’t sleep through the night yet and is not potty trained. And you cannot take your eyes off her for one second! She is going to be about 150 pounds and is a full-time job. Throwing that in on top of everything else has been a little challenging,” says Kyle, “but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m already totally in love with her.”

Kyle believes that Dorit Kemsley feels bad about Erika Girardi‘s lack of underwear being a never ending topic of gossip and conversation. She further explains that Dorit assumed Erika would find humor in her gift. Silly, Dorit, gag gifts aren’t for people who don’t have a sense of humor.
“I believe Dorit feels bad the topic ever came up and didn’t mean to be hurtful in buying Erika the underwear. She assumed Erika would take it like SHE would have presumably and laughed it off. We all react to things differently, and Erika is self-admittedly guarded as it is. Dorit didn’t think of it as seriously as Erika did. I also would have been hurt by that, but we are all still getting to know each other, and at this point Erika and Dorit had just met.”

Moving on to game night, Kyle begins, “Anyone who knows me knows I love any excuse to have a party/entertain. The idea of Game Night sounded fun to me in spite of past ones we have had. One can always be hopeful. The night was actually so fun, and we could not stop laughing. I love those kind of nights.”
Kyle notes Eden Sassoon‘s positive attitude, even when being hit on by Dorit and being pestered by Kyle’s dog, “Eden came in not really knowing anyone and was sweet, energetic, and ready to have fun with all of us. I like that about her. Dorit was making me laugh with all her compliments towards Eden. Dorit is also a lot of fun and always makes me laugh. I laughed watching Dorit and Eden having their conversation by the pool and being constantly interrupted by my dog Bambi wanting them to throw her ball repeatedly. Story of my life.”
All good things must come to an end, however, and this end started with Eileen Davidson being her usual exhausting self. “After the games we all sat outside and things turned heavy. Eileen brought up the situation with Dorit and Erika. At this point I’m confused and not sure why everyone is so upset when it’s really between Erika and Dorit. Like Erika said, the more we talk about it, the bigger it gets.”
Kyle claims innocence, “I certainly wasn’t ganging up on Dorit when I said I think Erika was blindsided. I said it to her face without knowing Eileen said the same thing. It was a safe assumption. I feel like the more conversations we have about it and the more people involved, the harder it’s going to be for Erika and Dorit to get past it.”
Enter Kim Richards to take the focus off Kyle – convenient, huh?
Kyle describes Kim and Lisa Rinna as oil and water and determines that they should probably stay away from one another – unless there is super important reality TV to be filmed, of course, then fragile states of mind be damned.

“They went back and forth regarding their past issues. Then Rinna threw out ‘let’s talk about your arrest.’ That’s where the evening ended for me. It was a low blow. Very low. I felt bad for Kim and knew she must have been humiliated, but she handled it well. Because Kim is in such a good place, she was able to hold her head high and not let it get the best of her.”
“The evening ended with a lot of awkwardness and still unresolved feelings between Eileen and Dorit, Kim and Rinna, and Erika and Dorit,” bemoans Kyle. “At least the actual game part of Game Night was fun. Right?”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars and former besties haven’t been exactly tip-toeing around their true feelings for one another this season and Kandi‘s new blog confirms that. She addresses the Johnnie situation/lawsuit and blasts Phaedra.
On Johnnie‘s Instagram slam, Kandi confesses she was floored he was referring to her. “I was wondering who he was talking about, because there were a lot of people in the picture, other friends of ours. I was really baffled, because we had just paid his event company to do our convention and as far as I knew we were on good terms.”
On confronting Johnnie about the public dig, “Why did he all of a sudden have a problem with me seven months after he no longer was a part of the team? He let it be known that he wanted to come back before, but all of a sudden he says I didn’t pay him enough and he haHid a problem with me. I can’t really say too much because this is an ongoing lawsuit, but I just think it’s sad when you try to help a person build their business, support them, refer them jobs, and promote their business so that they can be successful on their own, but then they try to tear you down and discredit you. It really sucks and makes me hesitant about helping anybody else.”
On the shadiness of Johnnie paying a visit to Phaedra Parks, Kandi bristles. “When has she ever been excited to see somebody from the ‘Kandi Koated Clique’ come around? Clearly she knew he was no longer with us and happy to encourage him to sue me. Her comment about the slave wages was funny to me, because she was the person I talked to when I was first trying to figure out fair payment for different positions… Side bar: I hope you all don’t believe that 80 hours a week mess. Johnnie had his own event planning business that constantly planned events. How was he with us for 80 hours and also at his events building his own business?”
Kandi blasts in her blog, “Also, Phaedra has constantly taken jabs at my husband for the past few years. She said she has never worked with me, but she worked with him and she wouldn’t recommend him… Well, that’s a lie. She has worked with me before. And after my experience with Phaedra, I wouldn’t recommend her either… Let’s not take career jabs, m’am. That would not be a good idea.”

The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star blogs about her regrets, her ongoing beef with Kim, and her eternal hatred of all things game night! Lisa does appreciate new friend Eden Sassoon’s level headed intervention in the madness though, which was a breathed some much-needed calm into the petty drama.
“Oh, Game Night, I can’t stand you! I think we all have some sort of PTSD from game nights in the past, and Erika [Girardi] nailed it when she referred to this upcoming Game Night as The Hunger Games,” jokes Lisa.

After praising Erika’s “fun and glamorous” XXPENSIVE video, Lisa reflects on bonding with Eden at dinner. “The two of us seem to have a lot in common, so I found her to be someone of comfort and safety. We can speak open and honestly about drug and alcohol abuse, our families, our friendships, and of course, our beloved fathers. We definitely bonded over being daddy’s girls.”
Lisa blogs, “After losing my dad last year, it changed me and made me realize life is so fragile and so short. I am trying my best to let go, move forward… but sometimes I get triggered. I am human, and I mean well, but sometimes I fall back into old patterns, when in fact, I truly just want to move on.”
This “old pattern” business seemed to rear its ugly head at game night, where the “triggers,” they were a ‘flyin! (By the way, thank god no one comes to game night armed. Seriously!)
Lisa rehashes the drama: “So, Kim starting in on Eileen [Davidson] and me after we had what I thought was a very nice conversation about her daughter Brooke and her upcoming grandchild was definitely a trigger for me. We had played well together on a team, and I was happy with us peacefully co-existing for the evening. Or so I thought until she set her sights on us and went off for no reason.”

Lisa took issue with Kim inserting herself in the conversation, but more to the point, “Kim was also not taking responsibility about what she said in Amsterdam regarding my husband.”
“Unfortunately, in the heat of the moment after hearing what she had to say, I threw a low blow right back at her. I’m not happy about going there,” admits Lisa, who brought up Kim’s super shady arrest record at the table – something RHOBH viewers know Kim infuriatingly refuses to ever acknowledge.
When Eden calmly talked both ladies off of the edge, Lisa confesses she was relieved. “I was grateful to Eden in that moment for intervening the way she did because it definitely derailed our crazy train and put us on on a less destructive path. Remember, this was our first interaction in quite some time, and it took place over six months ago. We have more interactions, and you will see Kim and I continue to navigate our complicated relationship in the weeks to come.”
Oy! Does this mean we will be subject to more awkward scenes between Lisa and Kim?!?! Sigh. Just when I thought “former” RHOBH castmate was really a thing. (No shade, Camille Grammer! I still heart you!) But, seriously, Lisa and Kim need to be court ordered to play in separate sandboxes – for life.

Double Teen Mom 2, double the fun. That’s right, fans, we got a bonus episode this week and I’m ready to bring you the highlights.
Leah Messer is moving on to bigger and better things in the form of a $110K house. She brings the girls and her friend along to see it because apparently, the owners don’t mind if she creeps around the property with the camera crew whenever she wants. Motivated to sell, I guess! There are still numbers to crunch and a wheelchair ramp to put in, but she’s optimistic. She also remains optimistic about Ali’s determination to do normal kid things, even though she’s falling a lot. Leah says as much to Corey Simms at one of their drop offs and Corey agrees for some reason. Ultimately, Leah does end up getting the house and it’s only eight miles from the girls’ school, which she is thrilled about because that means it will only take her 15 minutes max to get there. It also means she will only be 45 minutes late instead of over an hour. It’s a win for all.

Isaac and Lincoln are thrilled Javi Marroquin is coming home soon. Kaily Lowry, not so much. Things are tense around her house as she refuses calls from Javi and snaps at the producers. Her marriage seems like a merry go round but Javi has already started making plans to finalize his own place when he returns in just over thirty days. Kail seems pretty stressed, but luckily she has the support of Jo and Vee, who want to encourage a relationship between Isaac and Javi. Jo doesn’t want their childhood to be marked by restrictions and their parents fighting. It’s both a mature and extremely thoughtful sentiment and it’s nice to see how they have all of the kids’ best interest in mind.
Looks like Jenelle Evans is close to settling her custody arrangement with Nathan Griffith. Although he still hasn’t proven that he has all the necessities for her to sign the mediation documents, they are getting warmer. On the flip side, Jenelle hasn’t proven to Nathan that she’s worthy of having his home address because of, you know, the whole assault on his girlfriend thing. On the phone with her lawyer, Jenelle deems this “understandable.” As in, she understands why her ex wouldn’t trust her not to go nuts with a mason jar to the head again.
As a side note, it’s hard to watch Jenelle go on and on about Kaiser being in a safe environment when the whole time she’s driving around with him and his car seat harness clip is up around his neck! Who taught her how to put a kid in a car seat? But the custody agreement does get signed and right in the nick of time – Jenelle and boyfriend David Eason are off to vacation with the other kids in exotic Orlando while Nathan takes Kaiser. Jenelle is thrilled to take Jace on vacation without mom Barb hanging over her every move and likely preventing things like Jace eating his boogers the whole car ride down. I could have done without that footage.
Once in Orlando, it doesn’t take long for Jenelle to decide she’s ready to rethink the custody agreement. It’s been a whole day after all! Thanks to a video Nathan’s mom sent of Kaiser at the park, Jenelle and David decide that because Nathan is not in the video, he’s nowhere to be found and Jenelle is ready to take it back to court. I wonder what the ratio of Jenelle to other cases the Judge sees. Jenelle needs her own office at the courthouse.
On a much lighter note, Chelsea Houska has some big news and she texts producer Mandi to come over. The crew walks in and Chelsea wastes no time with her big reveal by flinging a bunch of positive pregnancy tests onto the counter as a pregnancy announcement. Mandi is extremely excited to get another story line about the baby and Cole DeBoer proudly shows off his DILF t-shirt (yuck). When asked, Chelsea says she wasn’t trying to get pregnant but admits she was off birth control and tracking her ovulation using ovulation sticks and then taking pregnancy tests every day. Errr, I’m no OB/GYN but that sounds a lot like trying to me.
Chelsea and Cole decide to tell Aubree that she’s going to be a big sister but opt for a more age appropriate card instead of her abundance of pregnancy tests. Aubree reads that mommy is having a baby and she will be a big sister then looks around, unsure of what to do. She ultimately decides she’s happy but I’m not quite sure she understands what’s going on to be honest. It’s adorable nonetheless. Looks like we will be seeing much more adorableness to come from this family!
