It’s like moving through the stages of grief. And certainly, this betrayal must feel like a death to Tom’s ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix.
According to Page Six, VPR alum Kristen Doute said on the Viall Files podcast that Tom must have been attracted to Raquel because she is “f–king dumb.”
Kristen went on to say she can “see why Tom” chose Raquel to cheat on Ariana with. Certainly, Kristen would have the most insight being that she dated the Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner for five years.
“Ariana has a backbone,” Kristen explained. “Raquel does not. Raquel validates everything that Tom needs to be validated.”
As the frontman of Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras, Sandoval needs a dedicated groupie. And he’s found that in Raquel. Kristen thinks Raquel makes Sandoval feel “cool” and “talented.”
Kristen went savage on her ex-boyfriend’s mid-life crisis. She called his band “stupid” and made fun of “his sequined pants and his nail polish and his dumb haircuts and the pedophile mustache, for f–k’s sake.”
The VPR ladies rallied around Ariana after news of the infidelity broke. They’ve even taken it upon themselves to do some PR for her. Kristen and co-star Lala Kent appeared on Scheana Shay’s podcast, Scheananigans to update fans.
Sources claim that Sandoval has been “gaslighting” Ariana. And despite the long-winded Instagram apology, has not acted “apologetic” towards her.
Ariana has been avoiding social media since the scandal broke. She went off Instagram for a breather before returning to her fanbase.
“To say i have been devastated and broken is an understatement,” Ariana wrote, referencing her “darkest hours.” She added, “i am so f–king lucky to have the best support system in the world and i hope i can repay every single person for the love you have shown me.”
The outpouring of support gave Ariana strength. “What doesn’t kill me better run,” she concluded.
One channel of communication that will remain closed for now is between Ariana and Raquel. The former friends have not spoken since Raquel confessed to the affair over the phone.

Garcelle Beauvais from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills talks about her son Oliver Saunders’ messy on-camera kiss with Raquel Leviss. Oliver, who works for Lisa Vanderpump at Vanderpump Paris in Vegas, was involved in a passionate make-out sesh that sent some fans into a spiral. When Garcelle spoke with E! News, she was ready to dish–but not too much.
“All sounds like a mess to me!” she said. “It’s a mess and I was no part of it!” Oliver was exposed in September by his ex-wife for alleged cheating and has received much attention. First, it was Erika Jayne doing some friendly flirting, and now it’s Raquel.
I’m sure she’s flattered Oliver sparks so much conversation. But Garcelle says she isn’t interested in seeing it play out on television. “Listen, my son’s a grown man and he makes decisions, and I’m not always okay with all the decisions that he makes. I need to see the episode that he’s in before I can speak on it and I haven’t seen it yet.”
Fans of Vanderpump Rules know if Raquel is one of your favorites, she’s about to have a rough season. Her interest in Oliver isn’t wrong, but when viewers see the fallout of cheating with Tom Sandoval at the end of Season 10, she’s going to have some harsh critics—and challenging questions to answer.
Was Raquel’s hook-up session with Tom Schwartz at Scheana Shay’s wedding a planned scheme to cover her tracks with Sandoval? Or is she truly in love with this clown, as she says?
Raquel is in the hot seat. All of this legal blah blah is upsetting to me and my homegirls. Restraining orders? Come on, Raquel– it’s Pump Rules! We all know you were a fan before joining. Remember Stassi Schroeder giving Kristen Doute a little love tap for sleeping with Jax Taylor? At this point, it seems routine.

Lala Kent was on to Raquel Leviss already during the girls’ trip to Vegas. Not that she suspected Raquel’s affair with Tom Sandoval. But her willingness to cross boundaries and entitlement to do so was apparent. Watching the footage now and knowing about Scandoval is mind-blowing.
But Tom and Raquel’s trysts have come to light. And it’s fair game for the Vanderpump Rules cast to comment. Especially in light of how devastating the past two weeks have been for his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix.
Lala has been publicly blasting Tom and Raquel since the news broke. Page Six reported that she shared a theory as to why the Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner participated in the illicit affair.
“I think he was getting off on the creeping around,” Lala said while on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast.
Parallels could be drawn between Tom and Lala’s ex- fiancé Randall Emmett. Randall was leading a double life while dating the Give Them Lala Beauty founder. Casting couch allegations come to mind. Lala compared the two cheaters.
“It’s about the sneaking around. It’s that adrenaline rush, that high. The sneaking around, it just gives them this rush that they can’t get anywhere else, so I feel like Sandoval is the exact same way,” Lala said.
Tom and Raquel complement each other in an unhealthy way. Lala opined that as a “narcissist,” the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras frontman needed someone who “fueled his ego.“
“She was a full groupie [and] thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. She was obsessed. He needs that,” Lala added.
The mother of one is ready to challenge any excuses Tom and Raquel come up with. However, the disgraced pair are staying silent after issuing public apologies to Ariana.
“I’ve seen this movie, I’ve read this book a million times, I know it front to back, like, what else do you have? Because you’re not getting out of this,” Lala explained.
Pump Rules star Ariana revealed that filming with Tom after the news broke made her feel “gaslit.” So he is trying to defend himself, and Lala simply won’t give him a chance.
She said, “You are the piece of s–t. There’s no avenue you can take that’s going to make me think I get it. I don’t get it. I think you’re a piece of s–t.”
As for Ariana, she’s been living her best life. She was spotted in Mexico recently for a friend’s wedding. Her revenge dress reportedly sold out after she was spotted in the bright pink maxi dress.
Lala, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney have rallied around Ariana. Most of the internet feels the same way. And she issued a statement thanking her friends and fans.
“I am so f–king lucky to have the best support system in the world and i hope i can repay every single person for the love you have shown me,” Ariana captioned her photo. “What doesn’t kill me better run.”
