Captain Lee Rosbach will fire someone on Below Deck. Or at least I think he will. They have been teasing a crew member termination all season on Below Deck. So far, bosun Chandler Brooks and Third Stew Caroline Bedol are the obvious candidates.
Chandler lacks leadership and personal skills. Furthermore, he basically dropped a charter guest last week. Caroline has been a bundle of nerves all season. On top of that, she injured her foot. As a result, she has not been able to pitch in as much as Kate Chastain and Josiah Carter. Will Captain Lee fire either one of them?
Unfortunately, there are no spoilers about tonight’s Below Deck episode. However, there is an episode description on the Bravo website. It strongly hints at a firing.
What can we expect? “Captain Lee comes to a decision about restructuring the deck team.” That means someone will be fired, right? Or maybe Chandler will get demoted and Ross Inia will step up to lead the deck crew. That would make a lot of sense, although it means far less drama on Below Deck. I need my drama, but then again, the charter guests’ safety is important. I guess.
Caroline is the other crew member on the chopping block. Tonight she is “pushed to make her own decision regarding her place.” Maybe she doesn’t get “fired.” Does she quit leave the season early?
As interesting as the crew dynamic can be, I really care more about their personal lives. Deckhand Ashton Pienaar “proves to be a ladies’ man with the locals.” What about Rhylee Gerber? Apparently, she doesn’t want another ice cream interruption mid-hookup. How shocking.
Apparently, Rhylee is too busy “ruffling some feathers” with Adrian Martin. Oh no! Not the ever-zen Chef Adrian!

Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell have returned from the marriage retreat in Sedona. They find out she is pregnant. Sigh… We knew this was coming, but this week’s episode of Teen Mom OG, goes further into behind the scenes. What is uncovered is sure to shock and surprise everyone including Catelynn!
The news of Catelynn’s pregnancy came at an inopportune time for the couple due to the issues in the marriage. It seems like things have finally reached their boiling point. Tyler wants to live apart for a month. As expected, Catelynn is devastated, but she needs to do whatever is necessary to save her marriage. It seems like Catelynn is more comfortable sweeping the problems under the rug. Meanwhile, Tyler is overwhelmed with the burden of holding his dysfunctional family together on his own.
Catelynn talks with producers about the trial separation, its real purpose, and how she really feels about the idea. Naturally, this triggers her fears of abandonment. She asked Tyler if he was seeing someone else, to which the answer was no. Given all of Catelynn’s personal issues, her pregnancy, and taking care of Nova, this isn’t the best timing for a separation.
All of those things would be difficult for anyone, but especially for someone who has been vocal about depression and anxiety. It seems like both Catelynn and Tyler are idealizing the situation. Apparently, it’s no biggie to live separately. Despite this not being her idea, she thinks it may be good to spend quality time with Nova and be less dependent on Tyler. Now don’t get me wrong, I definitely think Catelynn needs to do that. Neverthless, the pregnancy just adds an extra layer that may be too much to handle.
The couple meets separately with their family. They discuss the plan for the separation while in counseling. Everyone seems concerned, but definitely not surprised. It seems like Tyler is really looking forward to a break from Catelynn, the drama, and the hand holding.
Despite all of their issues, Tyler and Catelynn decide to have a gender reveal party. At the party, it’s revealed that Catelynn is having…. A girl! It seemed like she was hoping for a boy since this will be the couple’s third daughter. Nonetheless, she is happy. I wish they would have been able to do this separation and counseling before getting pregnant. I think adding another kid into the mix of an already crazy puzzle is only going to aggravate the problems.
Maci and Taylor McKinney start looking for their forever home. Rather quickly they find one that they really like. They decide to go look at it. The house is huge from the outside and seems to have a lot of space and land. They were not able to film inside the house, but they come out very excited. Then, they decide to put an offer on the house.
Maci’s family is officially moving! The offer they put in on the house was accepted! Maci and Taylor will leave behind some great memories of their first family home. Nevertheless, they are moving on to bigger and better things…literally.
Amber is excited to continue with her workout and MMA training to cope with her anxiety and other issues. Andrew Glennon and Amber talk about physical and mental health at home. For some reason, Andrew thought it made sense to give Amber health advice. I’m sorry, but he looks like he hasn’t met a donut he doesn’t like he could use help in the exercise and diet department himself. But I digress; at least Amber is taking steps to be her best self for both of her kids.
Gary Shirley goes to the doctor for vasectomy consultation. He decides to go forward so that Kristina Shirley never has to worry about getting pregnant or possibly having a miscarriage. The day finally comes for Gary’s big procedure, complete with some underwear that looks like they will be a g-string once Gary puts them on. Poor guy… that HAD to hurt.
Bristol is in Alaska visiting with family & friends. She is officially divorced! She doesn’t think she will ever get married again… Bristol, trust me we all think that may be for the best. Is it just me or is Bristol’s whole storyline this season about how much she hates the men in her life? I hope the contempt isn’t going to transfer to the kids. Considering everything, both dads’ seem to be trying to do the right thing for their kids, at least at this point.
Cheyenne (and her blonde wig) take baby Ryder to Michigan to visit with Cory Wharton’s family and friends. Trouble brews when Cory announces to Cheyenne he has invited his ex to meet Ryder. You can see the green eyed monster come out of her immediately. Why does she care if they are just friends and co-parents? Hmm… because we all know that is not what this is… I honestly think she was just using a Zach as a placeholder until Cory came around and figures out she is the love of his life. Good luck with that. I hope Zach watches this season with a new, drama-free girlfriend. He will realize he dodged a bullet for life.
At the party, Cheyenne is passive aggressive and annoying when she sees Cory interacting with his ex. Face it, Cory doesn’t want you boo. Even so, he doesn’t want you with anyone else. Cory’s female friends boost Cheyenne’s ego (and delusions) and by making her think that they see a future for the two of them. Does he not have one friend that gives the side eye and tells the truth?
Cory and Cheyenne discuss her relationship with Zach. Cheyenne picks Cory and co-parenting over Zach. She asks if he would do the same for her. He claims without a doubt that he would do the same. But, sorry I’m calling BS.
Just minutes before, he was laughing when his friends asked why he and Cheyenne weren’t together. His response was “Cheyenne is in love with me and I am still figuring out what I want to do”. He says this to Cheyenne and she is either too naive or is mesmerized by Cory’s muscles to listen. He knows she cares more about him than he cares about her.
Ladies and gentleman, lesson learned. Never settle for a person who only views you as an option instead of a priority. I think it’s safe to say, I don’t care about Cheyenne or Cory and they clearly live in an alternate universe by the name of Self Absorption. Can we all band together and petition for two new replacements for the newbies… all of their whining is getting old and this is only their first season… geez.

Time after time, we the viewers have been hoping that the fumblings of the deck crew on My Seanna would be improved upon the following episode and the Below Deck yacht could sail into proverbial calmer waters. I hoped. We all did.
In a way, things have gotten better. Ashton Pienaar, Rhylee Gerber, and Ross Inia seem to be looking out for each other, and communicating more as a team. Then there’s Chandler Brooks, the Bosun, who picked up a charter guest and saw her slip on algae-covered concrete. After that, he didn’t think to apologize to her or offer first aid assistance.
On this week’s episode of the Below Deck Aftershow, the deck crew and interior staff talk about this incident. Ashton broke down what happened, “I think Chandler probably felt like it wasn’t his fault. He didn’t drop her. Where she stepped was slippery. He probably could’ve been more careful with where he put her down.” Ross agreed but insisted that Chandler should have apologized immediately as the professional in the situation.
Chef Adrian Martin got to witness the incident firsthand. Adrian speculated that timing was a major issue. The hurried pacing of getting the charter guests to the beach before nightfall could be the reason for Chandler’s lack of vigilance. According to Kate Chastain, the unlucky woman was the least deserving of what happened. She joked, “Why do the nicest people always get the worst injuries from Chandler?”
Back at the boat, Chandler was remarkably relaxed while Kate and Josiah Carter were picking up the slack for overwrought Caroline Bedol. At that point, Captain Lee assigned Kate to oversee deck crew management. Josiah quipped, “because he knew Chandler couldn’t.” When asked if she kept Chandler up the latest, Kate acknowledged and said, “He just seemed like the most well-rested of the deck crew. If he’s got time to eat chocolate ice cream then he’s certainly has a lot more time for work.”
Kate then described her astonishment at Chandler’s fixation with his ice cream’s consistency. Why focus on that when there was so much work to get done? She said, “We’ve got Chandler wearing one sneaker, acting like life is normal, dropping a grown woman on concrete, leaving two crew members on an island. And I get back and Chandler’s eating ice cream. You might as well say ‘f’ you crew. I’m doing what I want.'”
Will Chandler get fired during next week’s Below Deck episode? He is visible in preview clips for next week episode. Apparently, Captain Lee (or production) is keeping him around. Maybe between charter five and the man overboard incident, we will see some improvement from Chandler. Maybe.

Are former Southern Charm cast members Ashley Jacobs and Thomas Ravenel back together? Again. It’s just so hard to keep track of these two. Are they together? Or are they at odds throwing shade on social media? With this duo, it can be either of those two choices and anything else in between.
After more than a year of dating, the couple ended their romance in August. However, Ashley and Thomas were spotted together in Charleston in October, fueling rumors that they had resurrected their romance. Again.
According to an article from Us Weekly, Ashley responded to a fan’s comment about Thomas “all of a sudden turning” against her by saying, “Thomas and I aren’t together. I wish him the best though.”
It is no secret that Ashley often shaded Thomas’ ex, Kathryn Dennis, who is the mother of his two young children. Thomas never had a problem with Ashley’s treatment of Kathryn in the past. And who can forget that epic argument between Ashley and Kathryn on the Season 5 Southern Charm finale?
Apparently, his tune has changed. At least for a minute or two. An angry Thomas jumped on Instagram and ripped into Ashley, posting “I totally disavow this horrendous behavior and will have nothing to do with her. So hateful. I hope she gets help.” That doesn’t sound like the language of love, does it?
Neither Ashley nor Thomas will appear on the upcoming Season 6 of Southern Charm. Thomas is also grappling with other legal issues besides his custody fight. In September he was arrested for alleged assault and battery. At this point, I am not sure that Thomas has time for a relationship because of all his legal woes. It looks like only time will tell if this flip-flopping couple will reunite once again.

Big Brother fans won’t have to wait much longer for the return of their favorite series. Well, at least in one form: Celebrity Big Brother two is set to premiere on Monday, January 21st, 2019, less than two months away.
In a press release on Tuesday, CBS announced their full lineup for the next five months. Kicking off the schedule is the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother two, which will air multiple nights a week for three weeks. The season finale airs on Wednesday February 13. As with last season, the schedule shifts a little from week to week, but it seems to air between four and five nights a week, which gives you plenty of Celebrity Big Brother madness for those three weeks.
It was also announced today that Julie Chen Moonves will continue her hosting duties. Big Brother fans will also be happy to know that The Amazing Race premieres its 31st season on May 22. This season will feature former Big Brother players and Amazing Race alumni, including newly engaged Victor Arroyo and Nicole Franzel.

It’s about time that Stassi Schroeder wrote a book. The Vanderpump Rules OG has blessed he fandom with iconic quotes and wisdom for years. Now it’s officially official. Stassi Schroeder is an author and her debut book will be available before you know it!
Stassi broke the big news with an Instagram post. She announced, “Y’ALL. I wrote a freaking book!!!!!!!”
She joked, “People always say to write what you know. So obvs I wrote about what I know best — being basic.” Props to Stassi for owning her persona and capitalizing on it.
Nevertheless, Stassi is far from basic. Would a basic person ever say, “I want to wrap a dildo in acid and give it to Kristen [Doute] as a present so it tears out her insides.” Plus, she famously declared, “My mom has always told me that I’m a descendant of a Swedish princess, so I try and act like one.” These are far from basic sentiments.
With that said, we all have our own “basic” moments from time to time. Stassi is infamous for her love of her own birthday, No one will ever forget her proclamation “It’s my birthday, what I say goes”.”

Specifically, “Stassi champions the things that many of us are afraid to love publicly for fear of being labeled basic: lattes, pugs, bubbly cocktails, millennial pink, #OOTD (outfit of the day, obvs), astrology, hot dogs, the perfect pair of Louboutins, romantic comedies…the list goes on and on.”
That sounds like the perfect Christmas gift to me. Unfortunately, the book is not out until April, so just pre-order and treat yourself.
I’m not gonna lie, I am a sucker for a reality TV-authored book. I just cannot help it. Even so, I’m not the only one who’s excited for Stassi’s book to come out. Plenty of reality TV stars shared supportive messages on her Instagram post.
Stassi’s Pump Rules costar Lala Kent said she is “proud” and gave her approval of the book cover.
Brittany Cartwright congratulated Stassi on the achievement.
Summer House star Kyle Cooke requested ten copies of the book. He has come a long way from that time he told Stassi that she looks like Steve Jobs during their first meeting… in a hot tub.

Last week, the stars of 90 Day Fiance met in New York to tape the reunion show. Based on social media, it looked like they were having a great time together in the Big Apple.
It seems that Asuelu Pulaa and Jay Smith bonded so much so that Asuelu ended up getting some new ink from the Jamaican tattoo artist.
The moment was filmed by costar Jonathan Rivera and later posted as a screenshot by reality show blogger John Yates. He posted the photo along with the caption “looks like someone got some fresh ink courtesy of Jay.”
It appears like Jay may have worked on Asuelu’s tattoo in a hotel room. You can see his arm outstretched on a towel. Maybe it was a spur of the moment decision? Either way, the tattoo looks great and is a sweet homage to Asuelu’s family. He got his fiance’s, Kalani Faagata, and their son Oliver’s names on his right arm.
Most fans seem to like the look and posted comments like, “omg this is great.” Others were skeptical, given that the finality of relationship tattoos usually outlasts the relationship itself. Cynical comments included, “he’s going to regret that Kalani tattoo,” “easy to cover” and, “I hope they don’t break up.”
Jay seems like he is ready to get back to work! He left a flourishing business back in Jamaica, but once he receives a work permit he’ll be able to continue his passion in the USA. Or at least that seems like the plan, especially with his notoriety from being on 90 Day Fiance.

This is my first obituary. Well, it kind of is. Don’t worry, nothing happened to an actual human being. However, Kyle Richards’ store Kyle By Alene Too is closing. RIP Kyle by Alene Too. I will miss saying the store’s name in any context. Over and over again.
Don’t fret, Kyle Richards fans. This is actually a good thing. She will have a brand new store before you know it.
According to an article from Page Six, Kyle by Alene Too is dunzo. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers have been there (vicariously) since the beginning. There is no need to feel sorry for her though. Thank u, next. Kyle has already moved on.
Kyle’s representative told Page Six, “Kyle is excited to be opening a new brick and mortar store in West Hollywood along with a revamped e-commerce site which will both launch in 2019.”
Why is Kyle moving? The article did not specify. However, there is one fun fact about its previous location. It was on the same block as Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant Villa Blanca. Could that be the reason for the move? Or is that just a coincidence? It is most likely the latter.
Anyway, her rep declared that this will be a Kyle Richards solo project. According to Page Six, “The new venture will also be offering options for men and will no longer be affiliated with Alene Too.”
Oh! Is there drama? Or did Kyle just realize she doesn’t need to capitalize on a name that no one recognized to sell caftans and oversized jewelry? Kyle Richards is the queen of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Sorry, Lisa Vanderpump. She does not need an Alene Too to move merchandise!

Like the rest of the audience tuning in to Below Deck each week, Captain Lee Rosbach has reached his limit on how much crew dysfunction he could watch during the last episode. After a bit of a hiatus, Captain Lee returned to blogging on his official website. He shared his opinions and feedback for each of the crew members. Of course, he discussed what went down on My Seanna last week.
Unsurprisingly, Captain Lee had only good things to say about most of the crew. Ashton Pienaar, Ross Inia, Adrian Martin, Kate Chastain, and Josiah Carter got some well deserved praise. Even Rhylee Gerber’s critique was mainly constructive with suggestions to be less reactionary to Chandler situations on deck. On Captain’s Lee “screwed the pooch” list was Caroline Bedol, and Bosun Chandler Brooks. This is not at all surprising.
Both Caroline and Chandler have been veering from bad to worse episode after episode. Caroline notably left broken glass on the deck for a four-year-old boy to step on. Captain Lee was unimpressed with that move. Obviously. He also called her out on lack of preparation for breakfast service in his blog post. He remarked, “The orange juice should have been the first thing that you did when you got up and if there wasn’t time then you should have gotten up earlier or checked the supplies the night before you went down so you would know. And the drinks were just a Bloody Mary, and a guava bellini. Neither one is that complicated.”
Captain Lee also pointed out that taking offense and perceiving hostility in every scenario isn’t the best way for Caroline to deal with the job or life in general. He explained, “Kate has been patient with [Caroline] and was speaking in your defense when you walked in on her and Josiah, but you seem to me to be the biggest hindrance to your own success. This may not be the best match for you as a career choice.”
And finally Chandler. Captain Lee spent a good amount of the blog speaking to Chandler’s ineptitude as a Bosun and as a considerate human being. The first issue is the lack of leadership. Captain Lee said, “After the meeting in the wheelhouse, your first response is to communicate to your crew is how this is making you look. Well here’s a news flash, they didn’t do that to you, and you did it to yourself.”
Then, there is the lack of organization. Captain Lee describes the last day of the charter, “You want to leave the boat first thing in the am to set up the beach dinner, but what are the guests to do all day while you’re doing that? No toys out, no activities for them to stay occupied while you’re doing the beach runs.”
Captain Lee called out Chandler for acting like a disgruntled subordinate when he was asked to help Kate clean up the interior. He explained, “It really pissed you off when you had to answer to Kate for a few hours after the beach dinner. And you tell her that you’ll get to a task when you can. The leftover roast pork, you were asked to find some containers to put it in to preserve it, but you just arbitrarily override that instruction and throw it away.”
The icing on the cake was Captain Lee’s snark for ice cream-gate. “Oh, I get it, pissed because you didn’t get your ice cream on time. Time to suck it up cream puff. You don’t always get what you want, when you want it, just because you want it. I’m surprised I didn’t see a hissy fit thrown. This is wearing thin.” Oh, Chandler.

Unfortunately, Kristen Doute was exiled to the background last season on Vanderpump Rules. She was not in the season nearly as much as she should have been. However, there was one storyline that did make the cut. Jax Taylor told the rest of the cast that Kristen and her ex-boyfriend James Kennedy hooked up in Mexico. He cited some shuffled outdoor couch cushions as evidence.
Understandably, Kristen was livid, but so was James. Kristen is dating Brian Carter and James is in a relationship with Raquel Leviss. The last thing they wanted is a rumor like this, even if it was the front and center storyline. Well, maybe they didn’t mind having a storyline, at least a little bit. Now Kristen is on a mission to take down her most notorious ex.
In an interview with Daily Mail, the Pump Rules OG declared, “I love to take down the bad guy and I will stop at nothing, so sorry James Kennedy!’ I’m all for drama, but what is she planning to take him down for? Did he commit a brand new offense? Or is she just over him in general? I guess we will have to wait for Season 7 to find out.
Kristen confessed, “He is my target and I will continue to make him my target until all is well in the world.” She added, “Until girls are no longer called fat and bad names.” He should not body shame anyone. Ever. That’s for sure. Did he not learn anything from the Season 5 summer bodies fiasco?
What’s Kristen’s issue with James? She cited, “Just the way that he treats human beings in general, I just think that he’s such garbage.” Garbage? That’s straight out to the Real Housewives of New Jersey handbook of insults.
Kristen continued, “He’s such a bad, bad person.” She shared, “There have been times where his stupidity and ego can be entertaining [on the show], but I feel like and I really hope that everyone changes their mind this season.” It does seem like most of the cast is against James these days. Of course, I base this solely on social media. Does this mean James will get less screen time next season? Or will the vitriol backfire and just get him more limelight?
Kristen thinks, “James digs so deep that he wants to hurt people, and that’s another kind of evil.” And that’s probably why he was cast on a reality TV show. Well, there’s that and the fact that he was dating Kristen. So thank you, Kristen.
Aside from hating on James, Kristen had some choice words about his relationship with Raquel. Kristen said, “I don’t know if she’s as dumb as I think she is, or if she just doesn’t care that James is a terribly lying cheating human who says horrible things to women.”
Kristen concluded, “I just pray and I hope that viewers change their mind about him this season.” Out of all the things to use hope and prayer for, is taking down James really a top priority? Apparently so, and I’m ready to watch this attempt play out.
