Dorit Kemsley Thinks Erika Girardi Doesn’t Understand Her Humor
Dorit Kemsley and Erika Girardi seem poised for a face off that The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills has been prepping us for all season. But Dorit swears she’s got nothing against the XXXpen$ive singer! She just thinks Erika doesn’t understand her humor…or her incessant prying, or her strange hugs.
Dorit breaks down last week’s episode, admitting that seeing Erika in her Georgia hometown gave her some fresh insight into her cast mate. However, she continues to struggle with exactly who the “real” Erika is.

In her blog, Dorit begins by reflecting on Kyle Richards’ angsty cheesecake party, at which Lisa Rinna came clean about her comments. “Interesting episode this week. It started out the day after the eventful night at Kyle’s house with the group, and it was great to see that Lisa R and Kim [Richards] have started to heal and move on. It’s difficult to trust someone who’s called you an enabler and said that your sister is near death, but leave it to forgiving Kyle. She has such a big heart and can let things go.”
Well, she can let it go until the reunion…at which all of this trite, tiresome sh*t shall be picked right back up!

Dorit says she enjoyed Kyle’s party at her store, though, and was thrilled to get an invite to Lisa Vanderpump’s Hong Kong trip. “I was really excited to go to Kyle’s store and support her with the Fat Jewish, who I had been wanting to meet. He is as hilarious in person as he is on Instagram. I mean, the lap dance he gave Kyle was the best.”
“I knew that Lisa V really wanted to make an impact on her trip in Hong Kong, and it was so sweet of her to invite me along. I can’t wait to really help with her passion. How funny was the moment when Erika invited Eileen [Davidson]? Ha!” jokes Dorit. (Wait – that was a joke…right?)
It wasn’t all lighthearted banter at Kyle’s party, though. When Dorit sniped at Erika for never complimenting her, Erika took offense. Dorit explains her thought process: “Regarding the small little remark I made to Erika, it was meant to be a joke. Erika can be nice and does compliment me. As I said, I like to banter with people as I do with Lisa V and Kyle and my darling PK, of course. At Lisa V’s house the next day, I really wanted to connect with Erika, and get to know the side of her that I hadn’t experienced much with her- the fun, joking, softer side of her, which I know she has!”
This “softer side” of Erika came to light during the footage of her visit back home. Dorit shares, “I definitely got to see a different side of her that I haven’t seen before when I saw her go back to her hometown. I was really touched to see the moments with Erika and her beautiful mom. I know we all love and cherish those special family moments.”
These moments likely dissolve into smog as the ladies head to Hong Kong. Previews suggest Erika and Dorit finally go head to head, which is perhaps what leads to Erika to break down in full blown sobs – something we haven’t seen from her yet. Interesting times ahead! Phaedra Parks Was Shocked By Bob Whitfield’s Comments; Admits Restoration Service Was A Failure
Bob Whitfield laid down some seriously messed up talk on this week’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta, and the cast and viewers alike still haven’t fully recovered. Nor, in my opinion, should they. Housewives will be Housewives, and snark will be snark. But Bob’s cavalier comments about not choking Sheree Whitfield “hard enough” in the past were just plain grotesque and dangerous. Domestic violence is not a laughing matter.
Phaedra Parks agrees, sharing that she was “shocked and somewhat disturbed by him finding humor related to such a serious situation. Watching the emotional impact it had on Sheree was heart breaking. I encouraged him to apologize to ease her pain as they were clearly on two different pages. It was obvious Bob did not appreciate the emotional gravity of his words and tone.”

As for Phaedra’s bright idea to have a “Restoration Service” with the ladies in an effort to heal their relationships – well, that was a big ole’ fail. Especially considering Porsha Williams’ ongoing, messier-than-messy drama with Kandi Burruss. Surprisingly, it was Sheree’s issue with Kenya Moore that rose to the surface first, though.
Phaedra admits, “Drama seems to be more appetizing than peace in this crew. Hence, I was not surprised by their lackluster attitude related to the restoration service. When they all agreed to attend, I hoped that they would put their best effort forward in order to truly explore the possibility of peace – but of course that would be too much like right.”
“I was not exactly happy with the outcome of the restoration service,” confesses Phaedra, who claims she only wanted the best for the group. (Hmm…that sentiment is questionable.)

Phaedra blogs that she “was hoping that the ladies would have been more open to the possibility of a paradigm shift in a positive direction. Instead, it was a luke warm effort on their part and therefore luke warm results. I will continue to pray and champion for peace to prevail in this group of women.”
I don’t know, man. All the praying in the world can’t seem to save this season of RHOA in my book. Between the Porsha/Kandi gutter drama, Kenya’s tangled web of half-truths about her romantic relationship, and now the sad story of Sheree and Bob’s troubled past, this season has gone from weird to whack.
Maybe next time Phaedra will employ her funeral director skills to bury all of these storylines for good?

Kyle Cooke’s On-Again-Off-Again Girlfriend Amanda Batula Talks About Their Relationship Status & Cristina Gibson’s Meddling
Even though she is not a cast member on Summer House, Kyle Cooke’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Amanda Batula is shown a lot on the show. Unfortunately for her, this includes those night vision hookup cameras in the bedrooms, but it excludes Amanda giving her side of the story in any way shape or form. So I couldn’t help wondering what she thought about her portrayal on the show.
Amanda opened up about her relationship status with Kyle and whether or not she thinks Cristina Gibson had good intentions meddling with their interaction.

Amanda finally got to share her side of the story during an appearance on the Buttered Pop podcast. They jumped right into what the viewers want to know and asked Amanda if she and Kyle are still together and unfortunately Amanda didn’t reveal any spoilers there. Amanda said, “I cannot answer that. I think you’re just going to have to watch the rest of the season and see how it plays out. I will be back this season at the end.” And we never really got an answer. They were obviously getting along at the end, but did they officially start dating? Maybe I just missed it with all of the drunken yelling that went down during the episode.
Watching the show, it is a little unclear what was really going on between Kyle and Amanda. A lot of that confusion comes from Kyle’s drunk mumbling, but we just never got to see them define their status and we never got to hear Amanda’s side of the story. Amanda explained what was going on between them during the summer.
Amanda admitted, “We just never talked about what we were.” Still, they actually were hanging out and talking a lot- even during the week, which we all know Carl Radke and Lauren Wirkus never did (as of the last episode). Amanda explained the timeline: “We ended things in the beginning of May. We took a one month pause of not seeing each other. We were still talking and texting so he would still ask me to dinner or call me drunkenly at night which is his go-to thing- as you’ve seen on this show.”
She added, “You don’t see the phone calls and the text messages. People see me as this booty call or a late night lover. There was more to it than that. I wasn’t just there at 3AM. There was communication beforehand. There was hanging out during the week. It wasn’t just his little drunk dials and my little taxi ride over.”
Amanda was asked about Cristina telling her that Kyle made out with Cristina and Lindsay Hubbard’s roommate Katie. Amanda revealed that Cristina actually dropped that bomb during Amanda’s birthday after she was wasted from celebrating. Great timing, Cristina.
Amanda recalled the conversation that took place while they were waiting in a bathroom line: “It was my birthday and I had been drinking all day, so the conversation is a little hazy. Essentially she told me that I need to be careful and brought up that Kyle made out with Katie and that I need to solidify what Kyle and I are and we need to figure it out. She had also been telling my best friend that I need to figure out what Kyle and i were.”
Still, Amanda is not joining the cast members in the Cristina hate fest. She explained, “I think she’s coming from a good place. I think girls should have each other’s backs. Realistically, who would have told me? How would I have found out if Cristina didn’t?”
Amanda continued, “I think what she does- and this is me as an outsider who doesn’t have years of history- I think she wants to come from a good place and the consequences aren’t thought about before she goes about telling people these things. I don’t think she means it to be hurtful- from what I’ve experienced only.”
Although it was obviously tough for Amanda to watch Kyle with other ladies on reality television, she actually did get some good perspective on their interaction. Amanda explained, “It’s been a roller coaster of emotions since the summer and reliving a lot of it now and hearing the things he said because he wouldn’t say those things to my face. To hear him say those things was really sweet.”
She also revealed that she had no idea that the cameras would capture so much: “The first time I ended up there, I did not know there was not only a camera in the corner of the bedroom, but a microphone behind the bed. So I apologize to everyone who heard my ten long seconds of pleasure. I had no idea what I was walking into.” Poor, Amanda. If only Kyle was sober enough to warn her about that. Amanda added, “You see a lot more of me than I wish.” I wonder if Kyle knew about those bedroom cameras and just didn’t tell Amanda or if he also had no idea.
It was so awkward when Kyle told Amanda about all of his summer hookups during the finale. So I can’t imagine how bad Amanda felt watching it all play out on TV. Amanda explained, “He was single. We were broken up. It’s okay. It’s just never easy to watch your ex, your current boyfriend, someone that you want to be with making out with another girl that’s half naked and sleeps in your bed.”
Watching Amanda toast to having a great summer with the cast, I can’t help wondering if Amanda wants to be a full-time cast member on Summer House next season. Amanda didn’t front when she admitted, “I would love to. I was friends with a lot of the cast members before the show even started. I met them all through Kyle. The few weekends I was out there, I developed even stronger relationships, especially with the girls. I became much closer with them. They were supportive of me throughout the whole thing.”
Amanda continued, “Even just in that sense to be able to spend another summer with these people, I would absolutely love to do that. It was a lot of fun and would be great to actually have a voice and talk about what’s going on and not be the ‘dumb booty call at 3am,’ yeah I would definitely enjoy spending another summer out there with everyone.” I don’t blame her. It would probably be a better summer for Amanda if she was around more and actually got to share her opinions about what’s going down.

Ariana Madix and Lala Kent Weigh In On Katie Maloney’s Squad And More On WWHL – Photos
Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Lala Kent are hanging on the East Coast this week (and may be stuck there for a few days as Stella dumps a ton of snow on NYC). They stopped by the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse last night to spill the tea on their co-stars. Lala shared some thoughts on James Kennedy, the Katie Maloney mean girl squad and her relationship status. Ariana shared her thoughts on Katie’s possible insecurity, her friendship status with Stassi Schroeder and more.
Andy asks if Lala should come back to SUR and Ariana says, “yes! She’s so fun.” Andy asks Lala if she would come back? “I would. I feel like I’m in a good place right with everybody right now, well, for the most part. They may have a different opinion.”
Lala says that James Kennedy has changed since dating Raquel and that she’s so easy going and makes him want to be a good boy. Ariana says she’s always in James’ corner, wanting good things for him.
They’re asked a few questions about Stassi, Katie and Kristen, the “SUR-lem Witches”.
Who is the biggest drama queen? “Stassi”
Who is the meanest when they’re drunk? “Katie”
Who has the worst style? Neither wants to answer but then they both agree that it’s “all of them.”
Who’s the prettiest? “Stassi”
Who was/is the worst server at SUR? “Stassi”
Who would you let style you for an event? “None of them.”
Who has the highest freak number? “Katie.”
Caller asked Lala to shed some light on the boyfriend situation. “I’ve never dated a married man.” Andy asked if the boyfriend bought her the Range Rover and she admitted he did. Lala says that the only person ever given an NDA (from her not the boyfriend) was James because he’s “reckless at the mouth.”
Does Lala think she and Stassi would’ve been friends if she hadn’t trash talked Katie? “No, absolutely not.”
A reader asks if Katie, Kristen and Stassi have shunned Scheana Marie since she’s been posting videos with Lala on Snapchat. “I mean we were buddies last year and then things kind of went south. I love and adore her so much, I think she has a great heart. That’s my friend. I never want anyone to feel like they can’t hang out with me because they may lose friends. I don’t really know if they’re not down for the cause.”
Are Ariana and Stassi actually friends now? “No.” Is there still tension between Ariana and Katie’s squad? “Tension? No, I wouldn’t say tension. I think that I know how I feel and I don’t really know what they’re doing. I don’t really pay attention to what they’re doing.”
A viewer asks Ariana if Katie is insecure since she was blaming so many issues between her and Schwartz on Ariana. “I think everybody’s insecure. I know I’m insecure a lot of times. I think that I was just a scapegoat for their problems. I don’t think that I’ve actually done anything to try to break them up. I mean Kristen actually tried to break them up at one point, so, I don’t know. I do the best I can, that’s all I can say.”
On Raquel and whether James cheated on her, Lala says “I think she’s sweet. Do we have intellectual conversations with each other? Absolutely not. What James does with his peepee I have no idea and I don’t want to know, but he’s not my man, so whatever you want to do.”
Did it make Ariana‘s skin crawl when Kristen Doute talked about slitting Sandoval’s throat in New Orleans? “A little bit, yeah. I just thought it was a little weird that she was saying that one day and the next day she talks about how she’s a reformed person. I don’t know, if I talk about her I’m “obsessed” with her, so I don’t talk about her.”
What’s Lala’s dating status? She says she’s with the same guy and very happy.

Vanderpump Rules Recap: The Wedding Countdown Begins…
Last night’s Vanderpump Rules traveled through the few remaining days before Tom Schwartz legally yoked himself to Tequila Katie. Actually, Tom has optimistically decided to eulogize Tequila Katie – maybe that explains why they spent $10,000 on flowers! Double-duty for a funeral?
Before everyone converges in the middle of nowhere “where no one can hear you squeal, boy,” (name that movie!) Tom 1 and Jax Taylor must take care of some risky business in the big city. They must summon their courage with a tiny trumpet and drink raw eggs for manliness. They’re doing this for Tom 2. As he relinquishes his bank account, his soul, and what’s left of the d–k he can only partially find, that only partially works, Tom 1 and Jax will be his everlasting strength.

Today’s task in preserving Tom2‘s Tomness, involves Tom 1 and Jax convincing Tom 2’s triplet brothers to attend his wedding. Oddly no one in Tom’s family can manage to get time off work, or anxiety, or spend money to actually care enough to come to his wedding. Tom’s dad isn’t coming. His sister is ‘working’ and his brothers, who all live at home in one room and share a cell phone, can’t afford it. Something VERY odd is going on in this family!
Like this explains so much. Apparently Tom 2‘s family lives in the middle of the FL swamps and are afraid to fly. Does Tom cling to Katie so because she, using her claws, masked with shiny polish, and her veneers, perfect and straight to conceal her bite, hauled him from those swamps and ensconced him in a beer-wrapped snuggie, then plopped him onto the couch next to Stassi Schroeder, who seemed so sweet at first, but is actually just the duvet cover over this whole mess! (If that made any sense to you – congratulations).
But seriously – why is Tom’s entire family skipping his wedding? Could it be … that they do not approve of his fair fiancé? Or perhaps they never expected him to go through with it…
In order to get some Schwartz representation at these nuptials dominated by Katie’s demands, Tom 1 and Jax call one of the triplets and beg them to come to the wedding by offering to pay for their tickets and the hotel. They want it to be a surprise so mum’s the word. Speaking of – where is Tom’s mum?
On the other side of town Katie took her entire bridal party to some strip mall to get their dresses altered. Kristen Doute keeps attempting to mimic the infamous Bridesmaids movie pose, which is a fail just like everything else about Katie’s vision for this wedding. So there amid the frumpy satin and slippery poly-lace, Brittany Cartwright lets it slip that Tom and Jax are smuggling the triplets across state lines into the deep forests of NV (or is it Cali?). But shhhh… no one can know! Kristen promises secrecy and we know that won’t go well, but perhaps this will upstage her attempt to smuggle Vegas girl into the wedding party to surprise Tom 2 with her cheating reveal?! I kid…
When Katie arrives to the fitting she is full of good cheer and happiness, because she and Tom have worked through ALLLLL their issues and it didn’t even take one therapy session! They beat Scheana Marie and Shay’s record – it only took them ONE session to reclaim their marriage. Now it’s onto the task of writing her vows… Since Stassi is a writer, perhaps she can fulfill that Soon-To-Be-Sister Wife duty? Wife No 3 Kristen will be waiting in the wings. All the Three-Headed SheBeast needs to achieve ultimate power is the semen of one wussy man-child!
That man-child can currently be found in a candy store fulfilling the ever-important wedding duty of stuffing Mike & Ike’s info favor bags. Oh, and shoving all his concerns, feelings, and issues with Katie under the rug until after they’ve tied the knot.
Filling the candy bags is a HUGE responsibility. Like what if Katie hates Sour Patch Kids?! What if Tequila Katie, whom Tom assumed they buried in the bogs of New Orleans, rises again because she was only buried underneath piles of Jelly Belly’s?! Just in case Tom 2 is planning a Tequila Katie funeral alongside their wedding. He is writing vows and a eulogy simultaneously. So was Tom 1 practicing the trumpet for that funeral march? Cause I assumed he was practicing the funeral march for Tom 2…
Stassi and her sister wife Katie are giving Tom boudoir photos for a wedding gift. Just kidding! Actually Stassi is pretending to embrace this Sexy, Single, Stassi thing by getting her groove back with a naked photoshoot. Wearing lots of lace and mesh, Stassi’s inspiration was Tom 1 in drag.
The funny thing is that Stassi is only pretending to embrace singledom. In reality she’s only embracing her love of Katie; her dedication to soul sisterhood and spiritual wifery, and marring into Katie’s union to Tom. Katie is from Utah she should know all about heavenly sessions and celestial concubines. Yes, poor Tom is not gaining a wife – he’s gaining two. And her little dogs too!

Speaking of witches, Lala Kent reappears. Apparently she fled Vanderpump Rules in the throes of an anxiety attack. While Ariana Madix is oh-so conveniently sitting by the infamous SUR dumpster watching people’s dreams get compacted and rotten amid the old banana peels and egg shells, Lala arrives. Ariana pretends she is gonna ice Lala out, but within seconds she’s all – whatever girl, it’s fine, but the person you oughtta be worried about is Lisa Vanderpump. Lala apparently returned to give Lisa her official ‘notice.’
Lisa is supremely unimpressed by Lala’s excuses, and lectures her for lying about her life. The subtext is that Lisa feels betrayed because Lala didn’t want all her dirty laundry, presumably containing the remnants of married man engagements, aired at SUR, then crying victim when others tried to expose her. Whatever – still Team Lala.
Someone who needs a lesson in bailing (other than Tom 2, obviously) is Scheana Marie. She excitedly tells Jax and Katie about visiting a fertility clinic to plan future babies with Shay. Scheana envisions being miraculously implanted with the seed of Shay and finding herself pregnant. Herself being the operative word. Because what Shay wants clearly doesn’t matter.

Jax tries to remind Scheana that generally procreation involves actual physical contact, but according to Scheana if you believe it you can achieve it! That’s how she finally got into the popular clique right?!
While LVP is wandering through SUR criticizing Jax’s bartending, he mentions that Scheana is plotting to impregnate herself when perhaps her primary focus should actually be finding Shay. He’s moved into the studio and making beautiful music just for her! Since Jax is an expert in How To Lie And Cheat… all the signs of Shay’s disinterest in this marriage are there, but Scheana hasn’t learned in all her experience as Jax’s friend…
James Kennedy also reappears. While everyone at SUR turned their backs and locked their doors, this little WeHo social pariah and record-spinning refugee found open arms and hearts with his girlfriend’s family. Raquel and James are SOOOO in love and it’s gonna last, guys! There will be no Beamer sex for this girl! James tearfully confesses to Raquel’s mother that he was actually fired from SUR and PUMP and therefore is unemployed, but Raquel’s mom isn’t worried – so long as he stays on TV, right? Oh, and treats Raquel like the princess she is. At least while she’s wearing her Miss Malibu sash! Good luck you two.
Finally it is time to leave the safety and security of West Hollywood, where pretty ponies roam the street beckoning you to ride atop their sparkling saddles, and disembark to a place where the bears are far-less groomed and stylized. Tom and Katie are transporting their wedding cake in a giant Tupperware, alongside their dogs, a piñata, and whatever else in their clown car. Seriously squashing the cake in that ill-packaged box?!
As if it’s not bad enough to be staring down the abyss of one’s imminent doom, immediately after they arrive, the proprietor surprises them with the bill. A bill as enormous as Tom and Katie’s delusion. The total cost of Katie’s insanity is a $51,000! $10,000 of that for FLOWERS. Tom is required to cough up $20,000. How is it that this week these two are writing personal checks for $20k (which yeah right – the wedding place would demand a certified check), but when they went to get a prenup their combined assets, not including credit card debt, was like $1,000. Things that make you go hmmm…
I don’t know why Katie and Tom didn’t pay closer attention to Scheana and Shay because they would have gotten a pretty necessary dose of what their lives will be like next year and saved themselves $5ok. While packing for the wedding weekend, Shay has barely constrained contempt towards Scheana and her friends. Perhaps they’re only palatable if one is super drunk?
While Tom is rocking in the corner cuddling his checkbook, Kristen and Carter arrive, followed by Stassi and Rachel. The soon-to-be-newlyweds were supposed to be having some alone time, but surely, that didn’t mean alone time away from Kritter and Stassi?! Sister Wives Hoo-Ha-Hoe!
So… “Let the wild rumpus start!” Which means stuffing a piñata. With 99 Bananas. A perfect theme for this wedding and marriage. Because Katie is bananas and all that remains of Tom 2‘s dignity are the days of past before he had been corrupted.
The next morning while Katie is adorned by a crown of bacon, Tom 2 receives terrible news: Tom 1 missed his flight over a wardrobe malfunction! He forgot his suit, ran home to get it and the plane flew away. And now – the horror! – Tom may miss the tubing expedition. The very cornerstone of this weekend – the most important thing they will embark upon and something Tom 1 has been looking forward to for years. Ummm…really?
In far nicer, if you can call it that, accommodations, Lisa and Ken arrive. Poor Lisa – the unfortunate duty of officiating this wedding has been bestowed upon her and she has a bad feeling. Not as bad a feeling as Ken, who will be surprised if Tom 2 makes it to the altar. After all, he had a panic attack bartending at PUMP! Ken Todd – the only realist in West Hollywood! He will not be bamboozled by sparkles, storylines, sangria falling out of a piñata. He, unlike everyone else on this show, is not blissfully willing to forget the past.
Also faced with daunting tasks is Jax. He learns that Tom 1 is not the only person who missed a flight – the same fate befell the triplets. Now Jax is panicking that they may miss the wedding. “I have to call Tom!” he wails, escaping Brittany to run into the dark woods where he can howl his frustrations at the moon, and no one will witness a grown man-child sob like a baby over the grave mistake Tom 2 will soon make in these same dark woods, beguiled by the crumbs of desperation which led him to the witch’s candy cottage, and only realizing after finding himself locked in a cage built from those very same licorice strands.
Can Jax save Tom? Will Tom appear at the altar? Will Shay launch an escape mission through the dead of night, using his sobriety as a tracking device to free them all from these dastardly woods? All important questions to be answered next week…

Teen Mom 2 Episode 24 : Sorry Not Sorry
Tonight’s episode of Teen Mom 2 is setting us up nicely for the season finale next week. Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer are getting hitched, Leah Messer is going back to school, Jenelle Evans is still battling mom Barb in court for custody of Jace and Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin are still in the miserable stage of getting divorced, with no end in sight. So let’s get this recap on the road!
Chelsea is going to get her marriage license in Nebraska and is pretty excited to be a wife. As she shares that with her mom and Aubree over lunch, her mom ruins it by telling Aubree that Cole will officially be her dad now. A confused Aubree asks how he can be her dad when she already has a deadbeat one (OK I added the deadbeat part) and Chelsea insists her mother stop. Instead, her mom takes it up a notch and asks Aubree if she calls Cole dad. Aubree gets annoyed and who could blame her. These are questions she should be handling on her own and it’s not up to anyone else to pressure Aubree into defining her relationships with the adults in her life.
Chelsea and Cole head to Nebraska to get the marriage license and we find out they won’t be filming for two weeks so they can enjoy their brand new married life, which I think is super sweet. Chelsea worries the courthouse will think they are only getting married because she’s pregnant but they walk out, license in hand and looking thrilled.
Finally, Chelsea and Cole get married in a small and rustic ceremony, which they share some pictures of so we aren’t totally left out. They look perfect and blissfully happy. Congrats to the happy couple!
Leah is on her quest to get her life together in the form of an education and meets with her cousin at a café to tell her about her experience with beauty school enrollment. It looks like she’s opening her own home-brought packet of tuna-on-the-go as she goes into why she doesn’t want it to take away from any time with the girls so it isn’t something she can get excited about. Leah admits if she would have known this would happen, she wouldn’t have had kids as a teenager (said every teen mom EVER).
But Leah won’t be deterred and calls a local university to tell them her life story before finding out what she needs to do to enroll. She jots down notes and feels like something is “right” about this. A few days later, she goes meet with a student guide that gives her a tour of the campus and has apparently never seen Teen Mom since she asks if Leah is going to live on campus. She then meets with the Head of Admissions and an Enrollment Counselor and tells them again why she is looking to go back to school and leaves actually looking excited. A few days later, Leah gets the call and she was accepted! That’s right, folks, Leah is headed back to school!
Jenelle and boyfriend David Eason are recovering from a hurricane, which messed up her court date with Barb over custody of Jace. Jenelle is pissed that she is at the bottom of the court’s priority list, especially when she should definitely be VIP status at that courthouse by now – that place raised her. But on to more exciting matters, Kaiser is going to toddler preschool. Ex Nathan Griffith doesn’t think he needs school this young, which isn’t surprising because Nathan is a giant meathead.
At Kaiser’s first day of preschool, Jenelle gives him some words of wisdom: don’t hit anyone. Kaiser fits right in and immediately joins his new classmates to learn.
While it was a successful day of preschool, things couldn’t stay normal for long and we find out Nathan was supposed to take Kaiser for the weekend, but instead texts David at the last minute, undoubtedly in a roid rage, saying he can’t take him. Taking it a step further, he says he will sign over his parental right to the She Devil (that would be Jenelle). Jenelle knows that the reunion is coming up so she thinks that’s why he’s depressed and then asks David if he would want to adopt Kaiser. Easy peasy!
Jenelle calls her lawyer on speed dial and conveys how Nathan said he’s trying to move to England and wants to give up his rights to Kaiser. The lawyer thinks he is mentally unstable and wants to get the details ASAP. Jenelle is quick to point out that David is willing to adopt Kaiser and her attorney lets her know it’s going to take a little more than just David saying he wants to. As her lawyer goes over everything that needs to be done for Nathan to terminate his rights, Jenelle’s eyes glaze over.
Later, Jenelle has to see Barb after their big blow out last week. Barb laughs about it but Jenelle isn’t ready to put it past them and sits in grumpy silence while playing on her phone, oblivious to the boys destroying the place. Barb asks what she will do if she doesn’t win in court and Jenelle refuses to go there. This can’t end well and by next week’s previews, I think I’m right.
Over in Kailyn’s world, Javi stops by to get Lincoln and some clothes that Kail refuses to even put in a bag for him. She practically pushes Javi out the door as Isaac cries and says he doesn’t want them to leave. An unsympathetic Kail keeps it moving.
When she drops Isaac off at Jo and Vee’s house, she wants to know what they should do about Javi. Jo is uncomfortable about the fact that Javi can just walk into (his own) house whenever he wants and feels like there is something they should be able to do about that. This is all affecting Isaac and and Kail plays the victim by saying she has no control over anything. Jo feeds into this and no one really holds her accountable, even when she briefly mentions she questions some of her past actions that led up to this.
Later, Javi calls Kail to talk and she immediately snaps at him not to be nice for the cameras and tells him what a psycho he’s being. She agrees that he can come over to discuss everything and when he does, she immediately refuses a hug and denies him the drink he asks for.
Javi starts by saying he wants to close the chapter but she stops him to demand an apology. He says he wants to but negates it completely by blaming Kail for making him crazy. I think it’s pretty obvious I’m no fan of Kail and her behavior but I take issue with this. Javi played a willing role in this and he can’t blame Kail for all of his bad behavior, no matter how terrible she is.
While the dogs hump on the couch next to them, she reads him the riot act and Javi continues to bring up her infidelity while he was deployed. It is pretty clear that Javi came looking for closure on the emotional issues between them but Kail stonewalls him and makes her point clear – she won’t give him what he’s looking for. As harsh as she sounds, she does have a point that the emotional side of things is what he needs to work out on his own and all they need to work out at this point is co-parenting (there’s that word again) Lincoln. Javi leaves angry and threatening, which is not a good look. I get it, he’s emotional and going through a divorce, saying a lot of things he probably (hopefully) doesn’t mean, but he has to get it together and be the bigger person right now.
Before he leaves, JC the Producer talks to Kail about how she thinks it went and she dismisses Javi as crazy. She says sometimes you have to hurt people to make yourself happy and she’s sorry but not sorry. Ahh, such tidbits of knowledge from a woman with so many failed relationships. But before Javi takes off, he decides he wants to be civil and apparently, his way of doing that is to barge back into the house without knocking. To be continued……
