Joe Rogan recently stated that Barack Obama had a tougher border policy than Donald Trump. The podcaster sat down with Bill Thompson, a former Chief Warrant Officer in the US Army, on the latest episode of his podcast, where he made the aforementioned comments.

Joe Rogan recently had a chat with former US Army Chief Warrant Officer Bill Thompson, in which he asserted that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton had a tougher border policy than Donald Trump.

Rogan referred to the comments made by Clinton on illegal immigration during her 2007 campaign and said, “If you’ve been convicted of a crime, get out. If you stay here, pay a stiff penalty, and you have to get in line, and you have to learn English. And everyone cheers. Like, that is a hardcore right-wing 2026 perspective.”

Thompson agreed with Rogan and stated that Obama carried out mass deportations as well. He added, “Yes, absolutely. And Obama deported more people than Trump did.”

Speaking on illegal immigration in 2007, Clinton conveyed that either the government can do nothing or act as soon as they can to deal with the immigration situation in the country. She expressed that she wanted to have people’s names in the registry and also deport those who commit any crimes. Moreover, Clinton stated in her speech that the immigrants have to pay taxes, fines, and also learn English. She conveyed that the immigrants have to contribute to the productivity of the country and not cause any trouble to anyone (via NBC News).

In his episode, Rogan also took a shot at MAGA people and asserted, “America is great. Make America greater, I’m down. But ‘make America great again,’ and then it becomes a movement of a bunch of f***ing dorks? A lot of them are dorks. A lot of them are really weird, f***ing uninteresting, unintelligent people that have got something they cling to.”
