Last week on Southern Charm, Salley and Austen finally made out. Craig and Venita continued fighting. Charley wasn’t happy with Craig’s behavior, but also didn’t want to be his “keeper.” She also wasn’t happy with Salley, who once again tried to talk about how Craig impacted their friendship. Craig completely lost it on Salley on the van ride home, as Charley looked on horrified.
What happened on Southern Charm Season 11 Episode 14?

This week on Southern Charm Season 11 Episode 14, “About Last Night,” the group is still reeling from Craig’s outburst. Charley declares she’s done with him romantically. Before they leave for Mexico, Shep tries to bring the group back together through an elaborate healing ceremony.

The episode picks up where we left off in the van. Craig continues to berate Salley, who is in tears. Rodrigo tries to get him to stop. Austen tells Salley to stop crying, because Craig isn’t worth her tears.
Salley is in shock when they arrive at the hotel, while the other van learns what happened. Shep and Molly agree that if this doesn’t make Charley reconsider her romance with Craig, nothing will.
The next day, Salley calls Madison to fill her in. Madison is in total bliss with her family. Teddi’s arrival somehow made her fall in love with Brett even more.
Salley shares the good news first, that she made out with Austen. Madison knew it’d happen … well, she thought they’d do more than make out. Later, Madison texts Austen that he’s a slut.
When she finds out about Craig’s meltdown, Madison recalls her experience with that side of him. Salley says that no one in the group holds Craig accountable because they’re too scared of him.
Charley processes Craig’s outburst at yoga with Molly and Venita. Venita jokes that Craig should take the yoga class … but not with any of them. Charley reveals that this was the final straw. When Craig had outbursts before, she could at least see his reasons. But in the van, he freaked out over nothing. It was too much of a red flag, so she’s done with Craig romantically. For the rest of the episode, Charley avoids Craig, but she can sense he’s not picking up on the message.
Shep feels for Craig

The next morning, Shep tries to get Craig to go fishing, but his door is locked and he doesn’t answer. While everyone else is mostly worried about Salley, Shep is thinking about Craig. It seems like he’s projecting a bit when he brings up how he’s been in this position with his own drunken meltdowns. Shep is convinced that Craig already feels awful enough about how he acted and doesn’t need to be a pariah. Austen thinks that Craig doesn’t have a conscious and that he doesn’t feel bad about yelling at Salley.
Whitner thinks Shep is enabling Craig. If Craig keeps getting away with this behavior, then he’ll never change. Shep hopes spiritual healing can work, but Whitner calls that a “big ask.”
Is Craig sorry for his outburst?

That afternoon, Salley and Austen agree that Craig isn’t the type to apologize for his behavior. Instead, he never wants to talk about it. Salley hopes that the healing retreat will somehow get through to him.
Craig has lunch with Whitney. He calls himself “perfectly imperfect” and admits drinking for 12 hours straight wasn’t a great idea. He hates when he gets agitated like that, but also doesn’t want to beat himself up for what he claims was messing up for the first time in two years. When Whitney encourages him to apologize, he asks, “To who?” Craig also says that if it weren’t for Salley, he and Charley would be further along in their relationship. I can already see him blaming Salley for Charley’s change in heart.
If the Southern Charm cast can’t handle the heat, get out of the sweat lodge

For their last night in Mexico, Shep plans a healing retreat. Whitney, who hates hippies, is cranky about it. Before they leave, Molly has yet another perfectly relatable moment while putting on makeup. “I don’t even look different! Makeup is so stupid,” she remarks. Is there any question that Molly is the queen of Season 11?
The healing retreat starts with a cleansing smoke ritual. Salley and Venita joke that Craig’s gonna need a lot more smoke to cleanse his soul. Shep recalls how important this step was before his ayahuasca trip.
The next step is a sweat lodge. Molly and Whitney go for massages instead (as would I). The rest enter the hut for roughly 75 minutes. “If anyone’s wondering what hell feels like, it’s probably about two degrees away from this,” Venita jokes.
Craig leaves early, and while Salley says he needed it the most, he looks tomato red when he leaves, so I don’t blame him. Whitner exits shortly after. But the rest that stayed love the experience. Austen thinks it was a bonding moment. Venita says it was one of the most beautiful things she’s ever done. Charley says she has no thoughts after it, and Salley agrees … well, except for her thoughts about Austen in the shower. Speaking of, Austen tells Whitner in the shower that he realized he needs to be more decisive. Whitner tells him that’s what Craig wants too. “Well, I want him to go to anger management,” Austen fires back.
Let the healing begin

In what feels like an omen, a nasty storm interrupts the next stage of the healing ceremony. Once they’re inside, they do a ceremony with a cacao drink. Listening to the sound bowls, Molly jokes that she should’ve brought her tuba.
Then spirit guide Victoria has them proceed to wander around the room with eyes closed. She encourages everyone to grab someone’s hands, and honor and be grateful for those hands.
Venita and Craig end up holding hands, and once they open their eyes, both have a look that says “…nah.” Venita remarks, “This feels like the gods saying fix it or get out…and I want to get out.”
Could holding hands fix Austen and Craig’s friendship?

Next, Austen and Craig hold hands, as Victoria encourages them to remember their past. We flashback to Austen’s nightmare birthday dinner. But it warms Shep’s heart to see Austen and Craig hold hands. When they open their eyes, Craig and Austen can’t help but giggle. Craig says it does bring back memories of how close they were for so long. Then the show flashes back to Austen and Craig’s good times over the years (which are, notably, from at least four seasons ago). Austen says it’s nice to feel a connection again, and could be a first step towards healing, but he doesn’t sound convinced. It doesn’t take Nostradamus to predict this won’t last.
Then Victoria encourages the group to hug someone. Shep hugs Craig, and is convinced that’s all he needed. An emotional Shep calls it the most sincere and powerful hug he’s ever given. He wants to assure Craig he’ll be okay. Finally, the group all joins hands in a circle and jumps up together. Whitney joins in for that last part.
Molly and Whitner immediately call that the healing ceremony won’t do anything to fix this group’s problems. And they’re proven right. Because next week in the Southern Charm Season 11 finale, Craig and Austen have yet another blow out fight.
Southern Charm airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes are available to stream on Peacock.
