Austen Kroll was in the strangest love/friendship triangle last season on Southern Charm. And, no, I’m not referring to that video they played with Austen and two women during every single episode.
Austen’s biggest struggle last season was trying to please his girlfriend Madison LeCroy and his close friend Shep Rose. In an exclusive interview with Reality Tea during BravoCon, Austen talked on how difficult it is for him to balance both of those relationships.
At first, Austen talked about why he thinks Shep is such an asset on Southern Charm. Austen explained, “I think that people don’t realize to be successful on a reality show, you need to have an opinion. And he certainly gives his. It’s like, what do you want me to do? Do you want me to be agreeable? That’s not what you want to watch. You want to watch him being like ‘I don’t agree with what you’re saying.’ And that’s the kind of guy he is.” Yes. He. Is. It’s been pretty difficult to agree with Shep these days.
Austen remarked, “Since we’re close, I find it tough because I’m a people pleaser. How do I make [Shep] happy and make Madison happy? It’s damn near impossible, you know?”
Austen gave us status updates on his relationships with both Shep and Madison. In regard to Madison, Austen said, “Look, this week, it’s great. And that’s what I want to focus on and hope that the next week is great and that the following week is great. And we’ll go from there.”
Talking about Shep, Austen said, “Our relationship has certainly changed a bit. We used to talk to each other every single day. We used to do more fun things together. Now, I’m trying to focus on some other things that are important in my life. It’s just way different. I don’t let him shit on Madison.” That’s a great place to start: not condoning your best friend to hate on your girlfriend.
Will Austen’s struggle to find balance continue on Southern Charm next season? Most likely, this will be a main storyline.

Southern Charm is all about the boys club and their antics, but there is one woman who has been around since day one: Cameran Eubanks.
She has been a confidante during rough times and she’s not afraid to dish out some tough love when necessary. Her good friend Craig Conover has truly got his act together, sewing pillows and opening restaurants. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Shep Rose. He just keeps inserting his foot into his mouth over and over again. Last season was rough for Shep. The off-season was even worse when he posted that video mocking a homeless woman collecting cans. He made things worse when he defended himself, but eventually apologized. But, was it too little too late? Can Shep redeem himself at this point? Cameran dished on that possibility in an exclusive interview with Reality Tea during BravoCon.
We asked Cameran to name the “most challenging castmate” on Southern Charm. As expected, she didn’t hesitate to name Shep. Up until recently, she might have said Craig, but not anymore.
Cameran told us, “My most challenging castmate is Shep. I feel like he is my long-term project.” Yeah, “long-term” sounds about right. She will probably have to work on this “project” for a while. Luckily for Shep, Cameran is a very dedicated friend.
Cameran reflected, “Craig has really made strides. He’s made changes. I’m hoping that 2020 is going to be Shep’s come up year. I’m praying that it is. He’s 40 now.” I’m hoping that 2020 is Shep’s year too. He used to be so fun to watch. He was the perfect level of trouble to entertain us all. Nowadays, it’s just a little too cringe-worthy to watch. But, I do have to say that Shep’s dog Little Craig has redeemed Shep in my eyes, just a tiny bit though.

To say that it’s been a tough year for Kathryn Dennis would not be descriptive enough. The Southern Charm star has really gone through it. This past year has been dominated by her very public custody issues with her ex Thomas Ravenel, who also spent a majority of the year facing sexual assault charges. I feel like that man basically lived at the courthouse.
Kathryn and Thomas co-parent their kids Kenzie and Saint. It hasn’t been smooth sailing though. They have been battling it out for custody and accusing each other of some nasty things in a super public forum. However, things have finally turned around for our favorite redhead, which she discussed in an exclusive interview with Reality Tea during BravoCon.
Recently, she tweeted, “Just want to let my fans hear from me officially that Thomas and I have resolved all matters related to our children. I believe that this joint custody arrangement is in our children’s best interests. Happy to move forward. Thank y’all for all of your patience, support & love -kd.”
Thomas retweeted it and co-signed. And just like that, their many issues have (hopefully) come to an end.
During the first day of BravoCon, we asked Kathryn, “How are you doing now?” She told us, “I’m doing really well. I’m happy and my life is moving forward. And it feels really good to say that and mean it for the first time in a really long time.” Awww. It really is so nice to hear some good news about Kathryn’s life for a change.
Don’t get me wrong, as an obsessive reality TV viewer, I’m all about the drama, but I’m here for the fun drama. I like light shade, love triangles, and fighting in costume during a themed party. In contrast, the drama between Thomas and Kathryn just got way too dark. Both on and off-screen. Let’s hope that things stay this good for Kathryn.

Kim reflected, “Writing my book took me back and I thought about how I took her everywhere. I had one friend I would play with as a kid and whenever she invited me over, I would say ‘I’m not coming unless my sister does too.’” Awww.
Kim told us it was “very hard” to watch Kyle and Lisa’s friendship fall apart last season. She admitted, “I just hope they make up.”
Looking back on the drama, Kim said, “I feel like maybe there was a little pressure from the other girls.” Probably. Kyle was LVP’s sole link to the group at one point. There was probably a lot of anti-LVP pressure coming her way.
Kim continued, “I wish they would make up because they were besties for so long. There’s a love in there that just doesn’t go away.”
Maybe Kim will be the one to bring the two friends back together. More than anyone, Kim understands what it’s like to feud and make up with Kyle. Could she be the peace maker here? Only time will tell.

Last season on Real Housewives of New Jersey, viewers watched the bridezilla of Bimini, Danielle Staub, torture everyone with her pre-wedding antics. Later that season, when Marty Caffrey insulted Margaret Josephs at Jennifer Aydin’s anniversary party, Margaret helped Danielle’s husband take a dip in the pool.
After just two months of marriage, Danielle and Marty split up. So that makes Danielle a divorcee three times over. It was an ugly divorce, with restraining orders and public insults flying back and forth. Later, Danielle even claimed that former friend Margaret is the one who broke up her marriage. How exactly did Margaret do that?
One week after Danielle and Marty’s divorce was finalized in February, Danielle was engaged for the 21st time to Oliver Maier, the Duke of Provence. Fun fact: on the most recent episode of RHONJ, Margaret visited her friend, Gina, who was dating Olivier when Danielle snagged him. And Danielle was also friends with Gina. Stay classy, Danielle. Oliver even took out a restraining order against his ex for threatening the couple.
After a short time, Danielle and Oliver called it quits, but the timeline on exactly when is a bit fuzzy. Danielle is just focusing on her businesses. I don’t know what businesses she is referring to, either. Now comes the news that Danielle and Marty may have moved forward with their lives, but they are still cohabitating.
Danielle told Bravo’s The Daily Dish, “Marty and I are in a very good place because we’re now protecting one another the way we always should have. We’re not allowing anyone to get in between that. We are divorced and we were robbed of our marriage… I think the best thing I can say is that although we are not married, we are still living in the home together and we get along quite nicely,” Danielle revealed. She added, “He feels the need to make sure that people understand that I’m not alone.” Why, Marty? Why?
After her divorce from Marty and break-up with Oliver, Danielle decided to focus on work, not love. “I think the latter [option] of that [of Marty and I remaining friends only] because I’m more interested in my new business ventures. No, that’s my boyfriend now: just work and being successful and paving a path that no one can take from me ever again,” Danielle explained. “I like it and Marty’s very supportive of that.”
Of course, Marty and Danielle shared videos and photos to Instagram of them spending time together. During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked what Margaret thought about Marty and Danielle hanging out. Her response was epic.
“I think they’re freaks,” Margaret replied. But Margaret was far from done roasting the exes. “Listen, she gets a restraining order against him, accuses him of abuse. They’re married for eight weeks and she trashes his family all over town,” Margaret said. “She gets engaged to some other nutbar.” You’ve got to love the way Margaret calls it like she sees it–always. “And now, they’re like back together? They’re both freaks. They deserve each other,” Margaret added.

90 Day Fiance spinoff 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way successfully drew audiences in with a new premise: have the American partner move to a foreign country. Part of the appeal was watching the U.S. citizen reacting to their new culture and navigating the ways of the country.
For Deavan Clegg, it was the adjustment of living in a small space with husband Jihoon Lee and his parents. Since the show ended, Deavan often shares pictures of her life in Korea. And goodness, the food looks amazing! Unfortunately, the learning curve of living in a new country sometimes has negative consequences as well. Especially when it comes to decisions about body and health issues.
Earlier this week, Deavan posted a set of pictures of her lips before and after a procedure. Deavan got lip fillers in Korea before returning to the U.S. for Thanksgiving. She started having discomfort and pain, but was reassured it was a normal reaction.
Deavan explained the situation in an Instagram post, “I am in the states for thanksgiving my doctor in Korea kept saying it was normal but it was so painful I reached out for help.”
Deavan admits that she did not do enough research before deciding to get the procedure done. She said, “In Korea I decided to get lip fillers before doing research. The product they injected had not been tested. I went to a professional. My lip was so swollen and injected incorrectly. I had damage so severe that my lip was dying.”
It turns out that Deavan turned to plastic surgery enthusiast and fellow 90 Day Fiance cast member Larissa dos Santos Lima for help. Larissa recommended a doctor, and Deavan was able to save her lip tissue.
She posted some words of caution to other girls considering plastic surgery. “Please ladies do research it’s okay to get lip fillers and feel beautiful,” Deavan wrote, “but please do research and find a doctor who specializes in it. I searched hours on what to do and couldn’t find anything so I want to help girls who are going or went through this.”
Deavan shared her thanks to the plastic surgeon for, “saving my lip it means the world and ladies and gentlemen check her out she is absolutely amazing.”

Danielle Staub is a polarizing figure on Real Housewives of New Jersey. She has been engaged an astonishing 21 times. That must be a record, right? For Season 10, she is once again a Friend of the Housewives. Or should I say, a friend of one Housewife, and that is Teresa Giudice. Viewers know that later this season, the two frenemies have a falling out, and my curiosity is killing me!
For right now, Danielle believes that RHONJ co-stars Jackie Goldschneider, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, and Jennifer Aydin feel jealous and threatened by Danielle and Teresa’s friendship. Whatever you say, Danielle.
Now Danielle is sharing that she needed to get something off her chest–literally. In an interview with People, Danielle revealed that on October 25 she had her breast implants removed. “I regret getting them in the first place, 100 percent. The biggest mistake I’ve ever made in my life. Nobody wants to look that way anymore,” Danielle stated. “I haven’t wanted it for decades.” Danielle had a total of five breast surgeries, starting in 1992.
Danielle continued, “Do you know what it feels like to be stuck with a device in your body and look a way you don’t want to look? Mentally, I felt like I was trapped. And I hated them; hated the way they looked, hated the way people looked at me with them.”
But the reason for Danielle’s surgery wasn’t just cosmetic. She was having health issues from the implants. The most recent implants were put in right before Season 2 of RHONJ began filming.
“I had asked for a C when I went down, and I woke up with a DD. And nothing felt right. My beasts, they immediately felt cold and numb,” the reality star shared. “I literally had no body temperature on my chest for years. And my skin was so thin around my breasts, you could see through it. It was like a couple of pieces of paper. I did not enjoy them at all.”
Danielle thought that these issues were normal. She gave her plastic surgeon, Dr. Stephen Greenberg, permission to speak to People. The night before her surgery, Dr. Greenberg performed a sonogram of Danielle’s breasts. “I’ve been working 25 years. I’ve seen everything, done everything, and corrected everything from others. And Danielle had a mess. She had a lot of scar tissue in there, deformed breasts, and one of her implants was ruptured, which caused a lot of pain,” Dr. Greenberg said.
Danielle placed a lot of trust in Dr. Greenberg. “My whole intention was not to have to put another implant in, but sometimes it’s irreparable,” Danielle explained. “I don’t have any tissue left, so there’s nothing else to do. So we went from removing them for my health purposes, to having to put something in, and I trusted him when I was under for him to give me as small as possible.”
Danielle also suffered emotional distress because of the appearance of her breasts. “I was under much scrutiny on RHONJ at the time and it was a very embarrassing for me because everyone was saying things about my body and my boobs. If you remember, they were ignorantly saying that I had a ‘square t**s’ on the show, mocking me,” Danielle said. “And I’m not certain anyone understands what that does to someone’s self-esteem. I felt shame and ridicule. It was vicious and cruel, to make fun of another woman and body shame her like that.”
In the end, Dr. Greenberg used new gummy bear implants and gave Danielle a size B. Danielle was thrilled with her new “bubbies.” She said, “I had tears in my eyes. I had so many years of complications and so many years of people overshooting what they would deliver. I’m so, so happy.”
