LeeAnne Locken “Will Never Trust” Brandi Redmond, Stephanie Hollman, & Cary Deuber

I don’t blame anyone for sleeping on Real Housewives of Dallas after Season 1, but Season 2 is definitely coming through. It’s way better than anyone ever expected. And of course LeeAnne Locken is at the center of it all. Everyone is either talking about LeeAnne or looking for an excuse to bring her up. It all comes back to LeeAnne and all of those women- especially the ones she doesn’t get along with- should thank her for giving everyone story lines.

Not only does LeeAnne deliver during the episodes, but she also has a lot to say after they air.

LeeAnne discussed the last episode in her Bravo blog. She commented about Kameron Westcott’s backhanded digs at Cary Deuber’s choice of swimwear. Since LeeAnne and Cary are arch enemies, it’s not that surprising that LeeAnne took Kameron’s side. She remarked, “Kameron and The Swimsuit…all I have to say is LOL! Seriously, sometimes when Kameron speaks her mind so honestly, it puts me on the floor in stitches, this time not excluded. I know that moment was supposed to be about Cary’s body, but I think Kam totally stole the scene.” I’m pretty sure the scene was about Kameron being pretentious and condescending.

And of course LeeAnne went in on Brandi Redmond. It’s so unclear whether or not these two are on good terms. It really seems to change from one second to the next, but today LeeAnne is definitely not a fan of Brandi’s. She wrote, “In Brandi’s confessional, when she mentioned how she wanted to be a part of a group of friends with no judgment, she really meant no judgment against her. Now, anyone else being judged is totally fine— funny even. I think this allows a look into Brandi’s ongoing issue of feeling ‘less than’ others. This insecurity is ultimately what led to many of our fights last year; she interprets differing opinions or disparate outlooks as a personal judgment against her. This is a problem because it bleeds into her friendships, where she is convinced ‘judgment’ should not exist. This whole franchise is about people judging each other.

Hopefully the dildo in D’Andra Simmons’ purse doesn’t turn into the poop hat of last season, getting discussed during way too many episodes than it ever needed to be. LeeAnne wrote, “D’Andra Simmons’ reaction to the dildo was perfect. It was calm but good-natured, and that’s why I’m so confused about Brandi’s ‘conservative’ comment regarding D’Andra. Brandi calling D’Andra conservative is *hard* (ha) evidence that Brandi doesn’t really know her.”

LeeAnne continued, “This woman has been to places none of the others would step foot in — D’Andra actually goes to some of the hardest third world countries for vacation. Why? Because in D’Andra is a true traveler, a true experiencer, and a humble and interested human in the realities of this planet. We could learn from that — Brandi could learn from that.”

Ugh. The dildo talk continued: “Now once the dildo came out, and Kam reacted, I immediately knew there was a problem. Kameron lives in a different world than most, and that’s okay. Her family name requires that she behave in a certain manner. Again, that’s okay. Others need to accept that and stop trying to force Kam into the box they want her to be in. Brandi not only doesn’t understand this but also she refuses to accept it. Once the dildo was rejected by some, Steph [Hollman] and Brandi turned into the ‘mean girls.’ That’s when the shenanigans should have stopped.” This reach for a story line was definitely a failure. Next, please. Yes, Kameron is super pretentious and judgmental, but the joke wasn’t that funny. It’s getting way too much air time.

LeeAnne wondered, “Why did Cary [Deuber] not step in to help out her friend Kameron? Big shrug. So, at some point, it wasn’t about a sex toy; it was about STOPPING the blatant discomfort that seemed to be getting worse and worse.”Interesting point. If she’s friends with everyone in the group (except for LeeAnne obviously), then why didn’t she act like a friend when Kameron needed it? Sure, Kameron overreacted, but Brandi let that joke ride out for a way too long. A mutual friend would have been the perfect person to cut that shit off.

Instead Cary decided to talk about LeeAnne’s man Rich Emberlin. Obviously this did not sit well with LeeAnne who wrote, “Ugh, Cary’s mouth never stops running. ‘Bet you scared the sh*t out of LeeAnne with that thing.’ Excuse me? ‘I heard he has the world’s smallest penis. Isn’t that sad? It’s embarrassing.’ Again — what in the hell?” Who would Cary even hear that from?

LeeAnne declared, “No Cary, you’re sad. No Cary, you’re embarrassing and embarrassed. But that’s fine. To make yourself feel better, go ahead and use your form of overcompensation by hitting below the belt with girls who pander and eat up whatever you say. No challenge there. Good job! What an accomplishment.” Obviously Cary was trying her best to make fun of LeeAnne and Rich, but it was definitely Cary who ended up looking bad.

LeeAnne called out Cary: “Cary calling this a ‘reset dinner’ after what she just said goes to show the level of ‘what’s good for the goose is not good for the gander,’ meaning that it’s totally okay for her to talk bad about me, but if I do it it’s 100 percent completely wrong. I simply refuse to accept her whacked-out view of reality. But by all means, let’s reset before I find out what you said about Rich. I mean, that’s fair, right?”

LeeAnne wasn’t done though. She had even more to say about that last episode. She wrote, “The dinner by The Grand Vela was simply amazing. And then BOOM. Brandi goes for Kam. What a freaking buzzkill if there ever was one. It didn’t surprise me when Kam hit back with the strip club comment. Kam didn’t want this argument, but Brandi and Steph sure did, and they got it. It’s just so typical that Steph got offended and bit back. This is what these two will always do; it’s called tag teaming. And it’s not fair.”

Then she hit Stephanie below the belt: “Oh, and Steph? Can you please make up your mind? One week you’re crying because you ‘neglected’ your family for Brandi, and this week you are a ‘damn good parent.’ I mean, which one is the real Steph?”

LeeAnne continued, “SECOND BOOM. Cary craps on Kameron, and now Kam sees the lack of loyalty from Cary regarding their private conversations. Nothing is sacred or off the record with them. This is why I will never trust any of these three women — they don’t even have loyalty amongst themselves!”

LeeAnne kept talking about how insecure she thinks Brandi is: “Kameron hit the nail on the head when she said that Brandi needs to deal with this problem of insecurity. TRUTH. Cary then said in her confessional that the deeper issue between Brandi and Kam is CLASS, which goes to show that Cary ultimately doesn’t think that Brandi is as ‘classy’ as Kam. I wonder if Brandi caught that…”

She teased, “So y’all tell me, who’s lying? What is the truth? Who are the real friends? I can’t wait to find out next week.”

And it’s anchors away when their grand finale yacht trip sails into stormy waters as the truth comes out about vicious rumors LeeAnne and Cary have leveled at each other’s husbands.”

Kelly Dodd And Michael Dodd Sell Their Beachfront Mansion For $6 Million In Wake Of Divorce

Kelly Dodd recently announced that she’s divorcing Michael Dodd (again), and after recently selling their beach-front mansion for $6 million (!), Kelly has decided to look in a “more suburban” area that’s better for her 10-year-old daughter, Jolie.

Well, I guess that means Kelly is also leaving Shannon Beador, as the Real Housewives Of Orange County frenemies are also neighbors in Quiet Womanhood. 

Despite being emotionally separated, Kelly and Michael are still living together as they search for new homes and finalize the closing on their Corona Del Mar home. Luckily the 4,400 square-foot house has four stories and plenty of space to avoid each other. Or maybe not considering all the fighting Kelly and Michael were doing!

“He’s part of my family, and he always will be, you know? I always want him in my life,” Kelly explained of Michael. “We always want to do things together with [our 10-year-old daughter], Jolie, and it was just, we just can’t live together. That’s it.”

While Jolie is hoping for a backyard and “perhaps a pool,” Kelly has a totally different concern for her new home: “[More] security,” she revealed. “Being behind a guard gate is really my main concern.” It was recently revealed that police have been called to Kelly and Michael’s home numerous times over the years after some pretty nasty fights. Kelly told ET that “just disagreements all the time” finally led to her calling it quits on her 11-year marriage.

Kelly also revealed that after some peaceful months for the couple, viewers will witness her marriage take a “hardcore left” later this season. “It’s either good or really bad.”

And now that Kelly is moving out (and moving on), she’s ready to be more “focused on Kelly.” She revealed, “It’s a new chapter in my life, which I’m pretty excited about.”  Frankly, I’m just glad Kelly decided to end things instead of subjecting us through an uncomfortable and awkward vow renewal, only to find her marriage in trouble again the very next season. I mean we haven’t seen that before, or anything.

Well tonight’s episode of RHOC features a more in-depth look at Kelly and Michael’s dysfunction, when Kelly’s dad visits and notices some eerie similarities from his own rocky marriage with Kelly’s mom. However, the big news is that after several hits and misses, Vicki will finally have a sit-down with Tamra. Then Peggy celebrates her own 22nd wedding anniversary with an over-the-top Armenian shindig that has Diko doing Peggy’s dirty work and confronting Shannon.

Survivor: HHH Episode 3 Preview; Podcast With Guest Gordon Holmes

If you’re a long-time fan of Survivor, you probably know and/or follow Gordon Holmes (and if you don’t or aren’t, then please do!). Gordon has been covering Survivor since Season 17, “Survivor: Gabon,” and is one of the top Survivor press members out there. He is the curator of the Survivor Hall of Fame and covers Survivor for XfinityTV.com with weekly recaps, exit interviews, and his trusted “Survivor Power Rankings.”

Nearly as long as I’ve been covering Survivor professionally (since Season 20, “Heroes vs. Villains“), I’ve been chatting with Gordon Holmes on my Podcast. Typically we chat prior to the beginning of each season, but we thought it would be interesting to switch things up this season and chat during Season 35. Keep reading for some highlights from my most recent interview with Gordon and for a link to the full Podcast discussion.

Episode 3 of “Survivor: HHH” airs on Wednesday, Oct 11, and our conversation took place before the airing of this Ep but after Episode 2. We talked a lot about the cast of the current season, the state of the show as a whole and its future. We even hit on some of the most talked-about moments from last season.

GORDON HOLMES INTERVIEW:

On the current state of Survivor as a whole:

Gordon Holmes: I think we’re kind of in a new Golden Age…but I feel like maybe starting with that first “Blood vs. Water,” things have really started to pick up, and sure there have been some slow seasons like “Worlds Apart,” but we’ve now been in a string of really, really solid seasons. Personally, I have to admit, that my Survivor enthusiasm took a hit with last season’s Varner/Zeke exchange…and I’ve had a little trouble getting it back to be honest.

On the cast of Season 35:

Gordon: I’m rooting for Ali, I like Ryan, I like Devon. I mean, even Patrick isn’t a jerk, he’s just annoying, like, that’s not a crime (laughs). Thankfully, or I’d be in jail. But with the exception of Alan, nobody really stands out in terms of “what is this person’s deal?” Yet. And Alan will still have a chance to redeem himself so we’ll have to see what comes next.

On the trend towards younger casts on Survivor:

Gordon: You know I think you lose something without your veterans. And I don’t mean people that have played the game before, I mean people with more life experience. Sometimes I look at people like Cole and I think, you know what, I would eat this kid alive. And that’s not saying he’s not intelligent, it’s saying that he just doesn’t have the 41 years of dealing with people that I do.

Terra Jole Has A New Show In The Works

Attention Little Women: LA viewers: Terra Jole has yet another show in the works. She already had her own spin-off series on Lifetime called  Terra’s Little Family and she appeared on the last season of Dancing With the Stars, but Terra still has more reality TV plans on the horizon.

If the Little Women: LA ladies were jealous that Terra was on Dancing With The Stars, there are definitely going to peeved about this news.

Terra talked to In Touch Weekly about the upcoming series. She didn’t share any details about the premise of the show or its release date, but she got the word out and teased that there will be an official announcement on the way soon.

Terra shared, “I’m still out doing the book tour, so this is a big, stressful time because, on top of the book tour, I’m actually, before Season 7, you’ll see a new show with my husband and me on Lifetime that I can’t give any details about, but it’s kind of like Terra’s Little Family, but it has a twist, for sure.”

Gotta hand to Terra, she’s always working it when it comes to self-promotion. I love how she made sure to mention her book and the upcoming Little Women: LA season in the same breath before discussing her new show.

The mother of two also said, “It’s like when it rains it pours. There are the book details, there are show details, and then Season 7 is about to start filming.” So much to plug, so little time, but Terra manages to mention it all… many times… in the same story.

NeNe Leakes Fires Off At Audience Member At Her Comedy Show To Get Raped By Her Uber Driver

What is going on with NeNe Leakes these days? First she goes off on an expletive-ridden rant against Kim Zolciak and her daughter Brielle Biermann and now she’s yelling at a random person who was in the audience during her stand up show.

Yes, it has to be tough dealing with the haters that come with being a reality TV star, but NeNe took her comeback way too far this time.

Usually when NeNe goes off on someone it’s entertaining. This time that is far from the case. She definitely went too far when responding to an audience member during her comedy show. TMZ obtained a video from an audience member where the crowd was booing NeNe for the entire twenty five second clip.

It’s unclear what the audience member said to NeNe that got her so angry but she told the person that she hopes she gets raped by an Uber driver during her trip home. It’s a little tough to decipher what NeNe said in the video, but she did say, “Yeah mother fucker. Try, bitch” before she said, “The god damn Uber driver, I hope he rape your ass before he take you home, bitch.” What would possess NeNe to go there? It was an absolutely disgusting comment to make. There was nothing funny about that. It would make sense for NeNe to be on her best behavior after the drama with Kim and Brielle last week. It would also make a lot of sense for NeNe to be on her best behavior during her own event. Unfortunately that did not happen.

Mercedes “MJ” Javid Shares Asa Soltan’s Secrets On Watch What Happens Live

It seems like every cast member on Shahs of Sunset is done with Asa Soltan Rahmati and her vagueness. No one expects someone to share every single bit of her life just because she’s on a reality TV show, but what do we know about Asa? She has been on this show the whole time and all she has done is sell caftans and try to convince us that diamond water is a real thing. No wonder Mercedes “MJ” Javid is lashing out.

The rest of this cast really bares it all. Sure, it takes a lot of poking and prodding for some of them to actual admit the truth – cough, cough Shervin Roohparvar and Mike Shouhed – but they all end up putting themselves out there for the sake of being real for the show… except for Asa. As expected, MJ did not hold back when she was asked about Asa during her latest Watch What Happens Live appearance and Andy Cohen and Jeff Lewis were living for it.

bAsa was probably sitting at home blowing up Reza Farahan’s phone to complain about nMJ – or at least that is what I imagine because MJ spilled some major tea.

Before the customary Asa shit talking session, MJ and Jeff discussed parenthood. Andy asked Jeff if he had any advice for MJ about starting a family and he told her, “I’d say wait as long as possible.” MJ wasn’t having any of that, insisting, “No I can’t wait anymore.” Jeff also mentioned, “I was telling Reza too. I wish I would have waited.”

Switching gears, Jeff and MJ shared their thoughts on Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge’s on-again-off-again friendship on Real Housewives of Orange County. Jeff theorized, “I think Vicki is trying to save her job, frankly. I don’t think they want to be friends. Either one of them.”

They also gave their approval for Vicki‘s new boyfriend Steve Lodge. MJ said, “He’s the best. He’s amazing.” Jeff had nothing but praise for Steve, but Vicki, not so much. He said, “He seems like a really nice guy. She’s going to screw that up.” MJ said, “Hopefully she won’t.” Jeff also threw in, “She’ll call Brooks or something.” Vicki is not going to be happy when she hears about that comment.

Just like every other interview MJ has done this season, MJ had to answer the question “Why are you so envious of Asa?” Maybe MJ was tired of answering that same question all season long because she unleashed a lot of information: “Oh come on, you guys. It’s not like that. It feels to me that I was a friend who believed we had a friendship and I didn’t know that she had a whole plan and I kept all of her secrets for so long. She was married to a guy for ten years. She never talks about where her house came from that she lives in. She was with him for ten years. I’ve always had her back.”

Except for in this moment when MJ didn’t have Asa‘s back or keep any secrets private.

Andy remarked, “It seems like she’s telling the secrets now.” Jeff told MJ, “You should tell us more.” And she did. MJ shared, “She was caught in bed allegedly having sex with another man. Then he walked away and she threatened him because she had dirt on him. And that’s why she has the house that she has.” Jeff admitted, “Wow. I wasn’t expecting that.” Neither were any of us.

When she was asked if she was surprised that Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi and Shalom Yeroushalmi got back together after filing for divorce, MJ revealed, “You know, GG at the reunion, when you see, just got back together with him because Shalom and Durani, his ex, had this Instagram war against her and Durani and Shalom called her a broke down Honda civic. And magically they got back together. She wanted to put that ring back on. I’ve never seen a less real relationship behind such a big rock.” Damn.

On a nicer note, Jeff had a lot of sweet things to say about his daughter Monroe. He admitted, “I never thought I could be as in love with something as I am with Monroe. I think she’s beautiful and smart. She’s so much like me. I love all that about her. She has a temper. I’m just warning you.”

Jeff was also asked if he had any remorse for how he has treated Gage Edward this season. Jeff explained, “Yes, but I am very emotional. I forget that the cameras are there. I’m very in the moment. I say things and he’s very smart and very calculating. He waits for the cameras to leave and then he unleashes so you don’t realize how abusive he is, but yes I do.” MJ chimed in, “That is my answer any time anyone asks me a question about Tommy [Feight] as well. Same thing.”

Shahs of Sunset Recap: Start Spreading The Snooze

We are in for yet another New York edition of Shahs of Sunset this week, but finally get to see what is going on in L.A. with those left behind – Shervin Roohparvar, Asa Soltan Rahmati, and Destiney Rose, who I keep forgetting is a cast member.

It doesn’t look like L.A. is missing the Shahs much and I’m pretty sure New York will be happy to get rid of them but first, we have to suffer through Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s life-changing, earth-shattering, coming of age bit part in an off Broadway play that she keeps talking about. In case we haven’t been taking her seriously up to this point, she has learned her lines and thus, turned her chaotic life around in one single unpaid job opportunity. To quote Reza Farahan, it only took 35 years.

The Shahs decide to settle down from all their turning up and go for a wholesome night of ice skating. On the way there, Reza calls Asa to invite her to their newly planned Winter Wonderland/Snowflake Ball, which is going to be held to celebrate friends and family. Never mind the fact that Reza is *this close* to being on the outs with Asa for her refusal to discuss the intimate details of her uterus with the rest of the cast – friendships, even fake ones, deserve to be celebrated! Asa immediately comes up with some pre-loaded pregnancy excuses like no energy and her Braxton-hicks contractions being worse at night. Reza doesn’t know what any of that even means but decides to let it slide anyway since he knows Mike Shouhed and Mercedes “MJ” Javid don’t want to be bothered with Asa anyway.

Once at the ice skating rink, everyone pretty much sucks on skates but MJ is less concerned about skating and more interested in getting everyone on board with pushing Mike and his ex Jessica Parido back together. She seems to think that Mike would be trying to get back with Jessica if it weren’t for what everyone else thought, so it’s now her mission to encourage their dysfunctional reunion as much as possible. This seems like one stretch of a story line but as we find out later, maybe MJ has reason to believe there is still hope for Mike and Jessica.

Back in L.A., Asa is miserable just getting in and out of cars and she makes sure we know it. Yes, pregnancy sucks, especially when you’re past the 30 week mark but I can’t keep up with whether or not Asa is experiencing a divine miracle or she’s just got hemorrhoids. One can never tell with her and the way she portrays things. She heads into an ultrasound with her mom and complains to the doctor about not having the most loving friendship environment. Ugh, here we go again. The doctor simply tells her to just stay away from her friends then and Asa takes this as a direct medical order, like bed rest. So I guess Asa is officially on friend rest? They do the ultrasound and Zinat claps with glee over the baby’s golden dool and Asa drones on about what an amazing genetic makeup her baby will have between her Persian heritage and the fact that he’s part Jackson.

Later, Asa meets up with Latoya Jackson at a baby store so she can complain/humble brag to her about how big her baby is measuring but she hasn’t even needed to buy maternity clothes yet. As they pick out some truly hideous Versace baby clothes, Asa tells Latoya that she was contacted by People magazine to do a family spread once the baby is born but Jermaine refuses. Latoya nods and affirms how shy Jermaine is about his life and I wonder how he would feel about Asa’s next statement, where she takes us on a whimsical and magical tale of how they met.

Long, long story short – they met in high school, locked eye and without even speaking, Asa knew they would be together forever. But that didn’t actually get set into motion until 10 years later, at an Apple store of all places, where Asa felt a cosmic golden waterfall of diamond water presence behind her. That presence was Jermaine, who came bearing organic blueberries and they spent 18 hours listening to music and seeing a white fox on the beach under a full moon. Asa describes all of these things as omens and I would just describe them as filler for an already boring story about how they met. I really did tune out at the organic blueberry part. Anyway, all of this has resulted in the relationship we see, or rather don’t see, today.

The next morning in New York, Mike is walking around shirtless with a towel wrapped around his waist, just dying for everyone to ask him what he was up to last night. When everyone went to bed after pigging out on concierge-ordered Persian food, Mike snuck out to “hoe” as Reza would say.

If you were looking for proof of Mike’s exploits from the night before, he encourages GG to smell his Umbro underwear, as she peppers him with questions about whether or not he went to see Jessica, which she thinks is still in town from last weekend. But GG has good reason to ask after her super sleuth skills led her to zoom in on one of Mike’s posted Instagram pics, revealing Jessica’s reflection in the mirror. The girl can’t hear but she sure can see! Mike coyly stays silent about who he was with the night before and they have no choice but to drop the matter (for now).

Even if Mike is still in love with Jessica, it doesn’t sound like it would be an easy road for them to reconcile as Reza explains, all thanks to Persians and their “tribal lifestyle.” Mike’s mom doesn’t like Jessica you know, because of all the cheating her son did to her, and since she’s not on board, it’s going to be impossible for Mike to get back together with her. I guess Mike’s mom just doesn’t want to see her precious baby boy get hurt again by sleeping around on his wife.

MJ and Tommy Feight are going to take the gang (minus GG) on a trip to Queens to see Tommy’s friends and family. As they are driven over by car service, Reza tries to impersonate someone from Queens but quickly loses his humor when he sees graffiti sprayed on the buildings they are passing. They arrive at the neighborhood bar with MJ dressed in full Liza Minnelli gear, complete with a green velvet mini dress, knee high boots, studded coat, and crookedly applied lipstick. But this is Queens and no one bats an eye, even though it’s the middle of the day.

As we meet his friends, who are really his family, we learn that Tommy was taken in by the McGuire family once his single mom who was raising him passed away. MJ describes the McGuires like a big brownie sundae and for once, she isn’t wrong – they are lovely people! Also, now I want a brownie sundae. MJ makes herself right at home, asking one of his friends if he’s a tits or ass man and no doubt, he’s an ass man, which Tommy says is a Queens thing and demonstrates by stuffing his head into MJ’s velvet pillow butt. They haven’t even ordered shots yet but those are coming and once they do, it makes MJ grab Tommy and climb onto the bar so she can give a heartfelt speech about how she thinks of everyone there as family.

In her talking head, MJ cries about how Tommy has taught her about the openness of love and all jokes aside, it was a really touching moment with MJ. You can see just how badly she needs this kind of unconditional love. Tommy toasts with a poem about friends and declares himself the luckiest man in the bar. Sigh….okay you guys, I have to say it – between Tommy’s “Don’t Bust My Bulbs” adult onesie from last week and this week’s showing of family love and happiness, I actually LIKE Tommy. There! I said it. Tommy has officially grown on me like that terrible beard he is sporting.

Heading back to L.A., we get to learn a little more about Destiney and what makes her tick, as if anyone actually cares. She used to work the nightclub scene for years (doing what, she doesn’t say) but now wants to do something different so she’s invested her money in a raw juice bar, all so she can go stand outside of it and smoke a cigarette with Shervin. She tells him how disappointed she is in him that he would have been running around on Annalise, when she was convinced he wouldn’t do that, let alone lie about it.

This all prompts Shervin to take a hard look at what he wants out of his relationship and he realizes that he’s been running from commitment even since his parents divorced after 35 years of marriage. Shervin thought Annalise was the perfect way to have his cake and eat it too but he ate too much cake and now has to shed the extra weight it caused him to gain. He drives into the hills of L.A. to park on the side of the road and FaceTime Annalise, telling her how unfair he is being to her. Annalise can’t be mad at him for being honest but says this is very upsetting. Is it though? She’s got a full face of makeup on and I hardly detect one hair moving out of place as she’s being broken up with by the person she was supposed to be moving to another country for. Annalise tells Shervin he should figure out why he’s doing this and then says “bye,” just like that. Shervin got off easy, even if this was a fake relationship of convenience.

It’s finally time for GG’s big off Broadway debut and the crowds are lined up around the block for opening night. Just kidding, there are no crowds and no line. Sure, it’s a packed house but I mean that more in a literal sense – think of the living room in your house filled with people and then you will have an idea of how many people were there to see the play.

GG goes into wardrobe, which is basically a folding table with a black curtain around it that was probably used as in a local election voting booth yesterday. Mike, Reza, and Adam show up and surprise! So does Shalom, who said he wouldn’t come after last week’s psychotic blow up about GG kissing her costar. Mike accurately describes Shalom as likely being borderline bipolar but GG eats it up, squealing and rushing into his arms when he shows up backstage.

Before the play starts, Adam reads GG’s bio from the program and we all learn together that GG was a gymnast and trained for the US Olympic team competing in the 1995 Olympics. That’s news to Reza, who demands proof and Bravo shadily produces a tattered picture of GG as a young girl in pig tails on a balance beam. I guess no photos were taken as she trained her way to the Olympics.

The play starts and it’s not long before Mike starts dozing off. He can’t seem to stay awake and while Reza blames the all night partying, I blame the sheer boredom of what looks like a really lame play. Reza is into it though and praises GG’s ability to learn her lines and actually say them out loud like she is supposed to. Finally, we get to the big scene where she kisses her costar and Shalom grimaces, probably because it was so overdone and ridiculous. Once the play is over, they all head backstage, which looks less like your living room and more like your guest bathroom, so they can toast GG and how far she has come to arrive at this moment. Enjoy your success before we forget all about it next week, GG!
