Leah McSweeney Confirms She’s Returning To Real Housewives Of New York

Bethenny Frankel quit Real Housewives of New York just one night before filming. Her absence was definitely felt. Don’t get me wrong, Real Housewives of New York always makes me laugh, but this season was definitely lacking compared to the others.

Then, Tinsley Mortimer quit in the middle of the season after finally finding her voice and an interesting storyline. Recently, the news broke that Dorinda Medley will not be on the show next season. Of course, she’s acting like she left on her own. Most likely, she got fired, but now, Andy Cohen is trying to spin it like she’s just taking a break. Then after all of those losses, it was reported that Leah McSweeney refused to film unless she got a pay raise for her second season. It was also reported that the cast started filming the next season… without Leah.

So, what’s going on?

It’s not clear if Leah got the pay raise she was asking for, but she did reveal that she will be back on the show. A fan commented on one of her posts “Let’s see if they can negotiate for a real raise.” Comments by Bravo captured and shared a screenshot of the comments section.

Leah replied with “I’m comin back. My work here isn’t done yet!”

I would love to know how Ramona Singer feels about filming another season full of Leah spouting out the same comments that Sonja Morgan says all the time obscenities and sexual innuendos.

I also want to know if Leah got that raise. If she got that raise, I want to know how much money she’s making. Vanderpump Rules Stars Jax Taylor And Brittany Cartwright Expecting First Child Together

A few months ago, Vanderpump Rules stars Lala Kent, Brittany Cartwright, Stassi Schroeder, and Katie Maloney revealed that they had a pregnancy pact, hoping to have children who are the same age.

They are well on their way. Stassi and Beau Clark confirmed that they are expecting a baby girl after her Vanderpump Rules firing. Lala and Randall Emmett just had their gender reveal over the weekend. And, now, Brittany and Jax Taylor are expecting their first child together.

Brittany broke the news on Instagram, posting a photo of herself, Jax, a sonogram print-out, and some festive pumpkins. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Mom & Dad. The love of our lives is coming soon.” Jax shared the same photo and wrote, “Soooooo. I am going to be Dad.”

Is a Vanderpump Babies spin-off show in the works? I am not trying to start rumors here, but I can totally see them bickering about who is going to have the most over-the-top baby shower and then who can go all out for a first birthday party (that a baby wouldn’t remember anyway).

Jokes aside, congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Cauchi Jax and Brittany! We are hoping that Brittany has a happy and healthy pregnancy.

They have been very open about their desire to become parents ever since they got engaged. They even said that they were going to start trying for kids on their wedding night. However, they eventually changed up their plans when Stassi and Beau announced their plans to get married in Rome, Italy, hoping to time their pregnancy around the travel for the wedding. Stassi and Beau ended up postponing their wedding because of the coronavirus pandemic and the loss of Vanderpump Rules paychecks.

Below Deck Mediterranean Star Malia White Seemingly Announces Breakup From Tom Checketts

When it comes to my sh*t list, there are few people who are higher than Below Deck Mediterranean’s Malia White. Maybe Lisa Rinna or Teddi Mellencamp. But that’s definitely it.

I never really cared for Malia from the get go but after her snitching on Hannah Ferrier, I was done. Her defense of getting someone fired over a mental health issue was BS. With a capital B. So forgive me if I spend this story griping about Malia and the karma that has seemingly come her way.

As a quick recap, once Chef Kiko Lorran was fired, Malia’s boyfriend, Tom Checketts, conveniently came to visit and fill the slot as chef. Which led to Malia to throw a fit about everyone changing bunks to accommodate their relationship. Because who cares about the rest of the crew when your boyfriend shows up! That’s obviously a rhetorical question. When Hannah didn’t want to move, Malia just so happened to go running to Captain Sandy Yawn to tell her that Hannah had valium on board. Hence, Hannah’s firing.

So, was it worth it? Sounds like the answer is no. Malia recently posted a not-so subtle break-up-from-Tom announcement on Instagram. In a heavily filtered picture, Malia looks almost unrecognizable, sporting some kind of nightgown and robe ensemble. She’s also holding a glass of white wine as a toast.

Her caption reads, “Cheers to all the ladies out there in their 30’s, single, focused on their careers & that give zero f*cks!” And then she used the hashtags,  “#stayfocused #dirtythirty #bossbabes #thankyounext”. 

Because nothing says you give zero f*cks like making a whole post about your break up. Ammirite, ladies? Like I said before, sorry if I can’t muster up the sympathy over the relationship that led to someone ultimately losing their job. Is that a stretch? Maybe! But I said what I said.

Let’s get real here though. Did anyone really think these two would last? Tom doesn’t exactly strike me as the nicest guy based on his recent interaction with Aesha Scott. Who would have the audacity to be mean to Aesha? Well, Tom. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the preview for this week’s episode features a big Tommy meltdown because….we don’t know. But despite Malia’s attempts to put the coddling of her boyfriend before her job, Tom threatens to walk.

Guess The Wellington wasn’t the only thing that wasn’t working for Tom.

Taylor Armstrong Hoped “Cameras Would Provide Some Protection” When She Filmed Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills While She Was In Abusive Relationship

I know the women of the modern-day Real Housewives of Beverly Hills would have you think that “bringing children into it” is as dramatic as it gets. But do you remember how this franchise got started? Shit was dark. Camille Grammer literally outted Taylor Armstrong’s domestic abuse story to the world. Mostly because Taylor was putting all the other Housewives in a very sticky situation. Then, season 2 ended with Russell Armstrong’s suicide. It was…a lot.

Since that time, Taylor has been on Couple’s Therapy with her new man, been remarried, and still continues to share her opinions on the cast like 7 seasons later. Hey. She worked hard for that zip code, baby.

To be fair, Taylor is also still talking about herself. She recently opened up with Bravo’s The Daily Dish about her decision to film with RHOBH while in such a tumultuous relationship. She shared, “There was definitely some hesitation to go on Housewives. For one reason, I was having physical abuse in my home. I wasn’t sure how that was all going to play out on TV.” Taylor continued. “I think part of me thought that the cameras might provide some protection.”

This decision/logic has long been discussed by viewers. In her recent interview, Taylor basically confirmed that reasoning. She said, “I actually think subconsciously I thought it might make things better and it might help my relationship.” So also shared, “Season 1 gave me some hope that I would  have some means for myself and for my daughter. And going forward I knew that I wanted to stick with the show because it was an opportunity to leave.”

When asked  if she ever thought about quitting Taylor revealed, “When Camille outed my abuse at Lisa Vanderpump’s tea party.” I can only imagine. Taylor went on, “I remember staring at one of the producers just dead in the eyes because I didn’t even have anything to say. I knew in that moment that my life was about to change.”

And change they did. Taylor added, “And I didn’t know if that meant that my life would be over, or my life would get better, I would get divorced. It was a very scary moment for me.”

About her late husband Russell and his thoughts on the show, Taylor shared, “He felt like it appeared as though we didn’t have a happy marriage and he wanted me to put up a better facade than that.” She continued, “I didn’t even realize how unhealthy our relationship looked until 1 watched Season 1” I really can’t conceptualize how she had no idea how bad it was, but I guess I’m glad she found out?

Taylor also disclosed that she didn’t mind having her abuse and loss of her husband shown in season 2 of RHOBH. She said, “I was supportive of season 2 airing….because I did want people to see…that there was something on the other side.”

So in any event, Taylor ended saying “My family life today is very happy…I was remarried…we have a wonderful relationship.” Taylor’s little daughter is now a whopping 14 years old! And apparently misses her late father 0%. Meanwhile, Taylor is continuing to speak out against domestic violence. I’m so glad they’re just happy, healthy, and most of all, SAFE!
