The franchise will premiere in early 2017 and a source tells ET that viewers should be prepared for “big hair, big personalities, and big drama.”
Viewers should also be prepared for a twist: Left Cheek and Right Cheek, aka Emily Fernandez and Bri Barlup, are relocating to Dallas to be part of the cast. And Little Women: Atlanta is casting two new women to replace them.
Emily confirmed the news on Instagram, including that she and Bri are moving.

Interesting, interesting… especially since Tiny Twins Amanda and Andrea are actually Texas natives who moved from Texas to Atlanta to be part of the Little Women: Atlanta cast last season. There’s no reason given for why the Cheeks may move – perhaps to expand their club scene empire?
It’s been a tough year for both ladies, so maybe they need a change of pace.
Emily’s newborn son JJ passed away from health issues after a premature birth, and was treated in a Dallas NICU. So Emily was living in the city while JJ received care. Meanwhile, Bri has struggled to move on with her life after a painful breakup.

Sources say Bethenny got word that her SoHo apartment building had to be evacuated due to a bomb threat. I get it – Adam and Carole are as boring as dry toast, but that’s a pretty extreme way to ditch them as dinner dates (I kid – I’d be running out of there too!).
Although it turned out to be a false alarm. NYPD says there were “no 911 calls regarding that address,” reports Page Six, although they were investigating a suspicious package on the corner of two nearby streets and had warned people to avoid those areas for an hour. That also turned out to be nothing.

I guess it’s a good thing Bethenny is purportedly looking for a new place to live with her boyfriend Dennis Shields.
Bethenny isn’t the first Housewife to deal with bomb threat drama. During the summer, a former client allegedly threatened to bomb Phaedra Parks‘ law office.
BTW: In case you’re wondering, Bethenny paid $4.2 million for her two-bedroom SoHo apartment in 2014. And below are Bethenny and Carole on Wednesday, the day of the bomb threat!

Fall's newest TV trend? Pilot twists. And time travel, but that's another story. Both NBC's This Is Us and Fox's Pitch, two of the best pilots out of the crop for the 2016...I know many are criticizing Teresa Giudice for not wanting a relationship with her cousins Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri. Plus, she was super cold when they showed up at the book signing. Teresa can be polarizing, but it does seem like she has a legitimate reason to not want to be around Rosie and Kathy.
Teresa has a ton going on right now – she is basically a single mom to her four daughters since Joe Giudice is in prison. She’s trying hard to hustle and provide for her family. And Teresa only wants to be a part of situations that are positive. So, if she doesn’t view interacting with her cousins as positive, that makes sense. Tre also got more specific about what Kathy and Rosie did (and didn’t do) to offend her so greatly.

Teresa has been super zen this season with the yoga and all that namaste stuff, but now she’s starting to get fiery again and she’s not holding back when it comes to her issues with her cousin in her latest Bravo blog.
Tre addressed the criticisms she received for her less-than-warm demeanor: “Some people have said I came across as ‘cold’ at my meeting with Kathy and Rosie, but they don’t know the whole story.” Fair enough, we really only get to see forty something minutes of footage each week, so there’s bound to be a lot that the viewers don’t know about.
In her blog, Teresa thanked her brother Joe Gorga and Melissa for standing up for her when they were at Kathy and Rich Wakile‘s house, which was really sweet, but I know that everyone really wants to know about the dirt between the cousins, so I’m just going to skip over all of those nice paragraphs. I’m way too invested in these people’s lives, so I enjoyed reading them, but I feel like I need to get to the real juicy stuff.
Yes, Richie makes good TV, and I have no actual reason not to like him, but even as a stranger on television, I think our one-sided relationship is best in small doses. So I can’t imagine what it’s like hanging with him at family functions. With that said, I can totally understand why Teresa’s point of view on cousin-in-law: “Over the years, he has always managed to put me down, make jokes at my expense or say really cutting things about me. I talked about how mad I was that he threw my cookbook in the garbage years ago. I mean, who does that? I had it with Richie a long time ago, but have kept my mouth shut about him over the years because he is married to my cousin. But now, I’ve had enough.”
I do think it’s a little silly to be mad about a cookbook getting thrown out, but then again I don’t support my family from writing cookbooks, so it’s hard for me to fathom how insulting that could be. I do think that Richie was just trying to side with his wife, instead of intentionally putting down Teresa. Nevertheless, it wasn’t a cool thing to do while filming a reality show that is watched by millions of people. It wasn’t just between Richie and his wife: everyone saw it and maybe that’s why Teresa is so sensitive? Honestly, I think she’s more annoyed by Richie’s general disposition and the cookbook thing was the last straw.
One of my favorite parts about Teresa explaining this whole family situation was how she took the opportunity to plug her cookbook: “For years, things with Kathy, Richie and Rosie were good, for the most part, until they came on the show behind my back, which I write about in my memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again. (On last week’s episode they came to see me at one of my book signings without telling me they were going to be there, which took my by surprise, as you can probably tell by the look on my face…).” I understand that the cousins had trouble getting through to Teresa, but ambushing her at a business event that she was filming for the show really wasn’t a good move at all. I’m hoping that they had good intentions, but they definitely blindsided her and I can see why Tre was not too happy about that.
Teresa also revealed that her cousin Kathy never her gave a heads up when she joined Real Housewives of New Jersey: “During the first two seasons I was on RHONJ, we talked about the show a lot. I was always telling them about what was going on with different ladies from the group. (Guess which ones?) So I was more than blown away when Andy [Cohen] – not Kathy – called me to tell me Kathy was coming on the show in the third season as a new Housewife. I couldn’t believe she kept it from me. I felt beyond betrayed.”
Once again, I feel like Teresa was blindsided for the sake of making good TV. Why the hell wouldn’t you tell your own cousin that you were joining a reality show that she was on? I would tell my worst enemy that I was joining the cast of her show. It’s just a decent thing to do that takes minimal effort. Instead, Teresa was caught off guard and ended up looking cold and uninviting. Based on Teresa’s version of events (which is obviously skewed in her favor), it seems like Kathy has a pattern of blindsiding Teresa on reality television. As tough as it can be to root for Teresa sometimes, I definitely see why that can be offensive.

Of course, Teresa addressed the comments made during the reunion episodes – again – which I’m also going to skip over because as much as I care, I’m over hearing about that since we all know where they stand.
Teresa also touched upon the tasteless moment at the end of Season 6, where Richie asked Kathy’s mother what she thought about Teresa’s sentencing, “The next big blow that came from that side of the family started with Richie. Again. He never knows when to shut up. When Richie, Kathy, Rosie and their mother, my aunt, were talking about my legal troubles, Richie asked my aunt what she thought of it all. (Why would he do that?).”
Once again, I have to say that I really get why people criticize Teresa. She provides people with a lot of material, but I can see why she’s upset by Richie. He was clearly being a shit stirrer. Mind you, Kathy wasn’t even a Housewife then, so it seemed like they were looking for screen time. Well they got it and threw Teresa under the bus when she was at a vulnerable point – definitely not a move to make when (supposedly) looking for family harmony.
Teresa added, “I have to say I am still hurt to this day by my aunt’s answer. Instead of saying she supported me no matter what or something like that, she said, ‘I always told my children, you do something wrong, you always pay for it. You can never get away with it.’ I’m sorry. That was like a punch in the gut. Was I furious? Yes. Enough said.” Richie is just a total shit stirrer. He is not a Housewife and neither is Kathy. He needs to chill.
Obviously that whole scene can be interpreted many ways, so let’s get to the part where I really, truly think Teresa has a valid point to be mad at her cousins. Teresa revealed, “Here’s the icing on the cake: When I went away, I didn’t hear a peep from Kathy, Richie, or Rosie. Nothing. Not a card. Not a letter. Not a call to Joe asking how he and the girls were doing. Whatever. I had bigger things to deal with. As I have said, I was most concerned with my daughters, Joe and my parents while I was at camp.”
Really though? They care so much about Teresa that they didn’t send her anything, ask her husband about her, or contact her children? But now that there’s a camera crew following Teresa around, they are looking for peace? Even if they are being genuine, they have to understand how awful that looks and how bad that makes Teresa feel. Even Melissa (who was not on the list of Teresa’s approved email contacts) went out of her way to send letters and photos of Teresa’s kids. Mind you, this was at a time when Teresa and Melissa really weren’t friends, so that says a lot about Melissa.
I absolutely see why Teresa would hold a grudge against her cousins for not contacting her while she was in jail. The other stuff is up for interpretation, but this is a pretty valid reason in my opinion. And I totally get why Teresa would question their timing, even if their intentions are genuine.

One week down, many, many more to go. The 2016 Fall TV season has officially started, and the first few new shows have made their debuts. Whether you loved them or you hated them,...Real Housewives of Orange County got ugly and personal on the last epside. Usually the women just stick to arguing with each other and that seems like fair game since they all get paid to socialize on reality television.
But this week, Shannon Beador’s mother-in-law decided to stir up some family drama and ruin her granddaughters’ concert. It was so tasteless and ultimately it just hurt the kids. This was way different than the Housewife-on-Housewife fights that we usually witness. It was a totally different ball game.

Even if David‘s mom was 100% right with everything she said about Shannon, it was absolutely repulsive the way she stirred it up and talked poorly about Shannon to Kelly Dodd and Tamra Judge (both of whom she had NEVER met before) while filming a show that Shannon is a cast member on.
Clearly, she had a vendetta against Shannon and wanted to put her on blast. She had zero tact or class from what I saw. Yes, I’m sure there were some endearing moments of grandmotherly pride laying on the cutting room floor – because, boring TV. But my point is that it seems pretty blatant that this woman went in with the intention of making Shannon look bad.
Needless to say, Shannon is still very upset about how the event went down.
Although Shannon had an over-the-top reaction to David Beador’s mom’s antics, I absolutely get where she’s coming from. She was totally blindsided. I’m very much #TeamShannon on this one. Obviously, all families have their problems, but this woman made a public spectacle out of their issues, and went way over the line. Shannon reflected on the craziness in a Bravo blog.
Shannon explained why she was so caught off guard: “I had no idea my mother-in-law was coming to the performance. My children do not have a close relationship with their grandmother. A year and a half ago, my mother-in-law told my daughters that I wasn’t a good mother, among other things. They were very upset because no child wants to hear negative things about their mother.”
Wow. That is a lot for any mother to handle. And now that this whole thing is a public problem, it’s even worse.

I also think it was absolutely out of bounds and irrational for David’s mom to blame Shannon for her son having an affair. What the hell? Shannon felt the same way, “I still have a hard time processing the fact that David’s mother said I pushed him to an affair. It is unbelievable to me that such a statement would be made on a night that was all about my children and was also two weeks after a vow renewal that my husband planned all on his own.”
Great timing with that one, Mrs. Beador Sr. Clearly, David and Shannon were in a great place, so it was the wrong time to come for them – not that there’s ever a right time to go after your son and the mother of your grandchildren. My point is that this woman was instigating a losing battle.
Shannon set the record straight when it came to the accusations about her keeping her daughters from their grandma: “The bottom line is that David’s mother was not telling the truth. I do not keep her from my children. She never calls to try and make plans. We saved a seat for her and one of David’s sisters for Sophie’s 8th grade play, and they didn’t show up.” I don’t think it was totally necessary to throw someone under the bus with that last part, but I do get that providing evidence does substantiate her claim.
To make things worse, apparently the discussion we saw of the Beador family in the limo wasn’t even initiated by Shannon and David – the grandma planted a seed in the girls’ heads!
Shannon clarified, “When the night was over, the kids told us in the limo that my mother-in-law went up to each of them individually to say that no matter what happened that night, she still loved them. David and I certainly didn’t bring up the conversation. This showed us that David’s mother had a premeditated plan and it wasn’t a nice one.”
Damn. No matter how you slice it. You can’t use the fallback reality TV excuse of blaming the editing for this one. This woman is a total shit stirrer and she was totally careless with her actions. Ultimately, she ended up hurting her son and her granddaughters. How sad.

As happy as I am for anyone getting engaged, I couldn’t help feeling a little underwhelmed watching Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter Ashlee Holmes get proposed to by Pete Malleo on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
It seemed quick and I was very confused by the “I’m proud of you” line. It came off like it was blurted out and I didn’t feel the magic that I was expecting from the moment. Well, I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t feeling that part of the episode, since Ashlee critiqued it in a post on social media.

Apparently, according to Ashlee, part of the proposal was cut out, which is why it seemed so abrupt.
Why was such a pivotal moment was cut short? I mean, how minutes could a marriage proposal take? It doesn’t really make any sense to me, but Ashlee clarified that the proposal was edited to allot more time to other story lines in the episode or something like that.
Ashlee killed two birds with one stone with her an Instagram post that was both an #MCM for Pete and a clarification about what actually went down during the proposal. She wrote a lengthy caption, but it makes so much more sense now.
First, Ashlee explained that the brief scene we saw was not the entire proposal (THANK GOD): “About last night’s episode of #RHONJ: I was a little upset with last night’s episode because unfortunately a good chunk of the proposal had to be edited out. I think @c3peteo did so amazing that I couldn’t not post the full story (again) today.”
There was actually a really cute part that didn’t make the show with the couple walking along the pier in Hoboken.

Ashlee wrote, “As we approached the end of it I remember thinking how cute all of the locks were on it. I said to Pete that we should get one and come back one day. He said it was funny I said that because he had actually brought one with him. It was then that he pulled a lock out of his pocket! He wrote our names on it and then asked me if I wanted to write the date.”
Ashlee elaborated, “While doing that he was saying very sweet things. I could tell he was nervous but I thought he was just uncomfortable filming maybe? Especially because it was an intimate moment. We locked the lock on the gate together. Then all of the sudden that’s when he told me he loved me and asked me to marry him.”
So why was the adorable love lock cut from the show? Sadly, this show was filmed months ago and apparently there are new regulations about the locks.
Ashlee revealed, “Unfortunately the entire scene with the lock had to be cut because Hoboken has a new rule that frowns upon people placing locks on that pier. If I’m not mistaken all of those locks have since been removed (makes me sad). Because of this… Bravo didn’t feel comfortable airing it as to not upset the city of Hoboken by promoting the act. I understand. I just felt bad that y’all didn’t get to see the full effect of what Pete did because it was so cute.”
Ugh. That’s so lame. Bravo should have just showed the scene and put up a disclaimer about the regulations changing or have Ashlee mention it during her on-camera interview portion. SMH, production. At the very least, I’m happy that what we saw on TV wasn’t actually the entire proposal. That’s a relief.

Thanks to the Internet your wildest Stranger Things fan theory has been confirmed--and then taken a step further. Yes, we're talking about the "revelation" that Steve Harrington from...I was totally on board when Kim Zolciak got her Real Housewives of Atlanta spin off Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding to plan her wedding. Those specials are usually interesting to me. But, when her spin off got its own spin off, Don’t Be Tardy, I was not sure if Kim would still be entertaining if she was not arguing with other women tugging at her wig.
Surprisingly, Kim, her husband Kroy Biermann, and their six kids provide some cute entertainment. And am not the only one who’s liking this show. Kim posted on Instagram about the record high rating the premiere episode scored.

As much as I live for the cat fights in all of the Real Housewives cities, it is nice to know that a more family-oriented show is doing really well. Sure, this isn’t a conventional family by any means and Kim is almost always saying something in appropriate, but it’s very rare that a show with no controversy is actually enjoyable to watch. Props to Kim, the Biermann fam, and the people who edit this show. No wonder it’s doing pretty well.
There are so many reality TV shows these days, so Don’t Be Tardy has to compete with a lot of other options. The Bravo network’s Twitter page for the Bravo Communications Team had a post about the record ratings: “PARTY OVER HERE @Bravotv’s #DontBeTardy premiere toasted to a 4 yr high in all key demos with 1.1M P18-49, 1.2M P25-54, and 2M total viewers.”

Obviously it’s a big deal that the ratings for the show are doing really well and I definitely get why Kim was excited about it.
Kim took a screen shot of that tweet and posted that as an image on Instagram along with her own words: “As I sat here and read this the tears streamed down my face! Thank you! I’m honestly so grateful for all my friends that supported me, my fans that have always believed in me, and my family that always sticks by me. I feel so blessed and I do believe in always following your heart, it never lies!!”
I had no idea that Don’t Be Tardy was this popular. Good for Kim and the family, especially while Kroy is in the middle of figuring out his own employment situation with the NFL.
