Brandi Glanville Sends Lisa Vanderpump Rude Text Message; Did Lisa Misinterpret Its Meaning?

Nothing is merry and joyful between Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump this holiday season.  Instead of sending Christmas cards and well wishes, these two former co-stars are busy battling via text message – sort of. 

Lisa and Brandi’s dislike for one another grows deeper by the day.   Lisa threw a party this week at Pump and during the soiree she received a ‘nasty’ text from Brandi.  According to TMZ, Brandi wrote,”Merry Christmas vanderC*** and yes i am having my moment AND it’s amazing!!! How is yours???? hahahahah #karmasabitch Or is it a c***?? Hahahaha.”

Lisa passed her phone around the party, letting her guests see the ‘hatred’ that comes her way from her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star.  Now here’s where things get a little twisty.  Lisa claims that the text was Brandi being hateful about the death of her beloved dog, Daddio.  She told TMZ, “It’s sad to have that much hatred in your heart especially at this time of year. Our lil Daddio meant the world to us. Anyway, happy Christmas.”

I’m not sure where Lisa got that sick angle from, but it’s a huge leap for a few reasons. First, Brandi’s text doesn’t mention or even hint at Daddio’s death in any way.  Second, Brandi is a dog lover/owner and, well, a human being.  Who the hell in their right mind would gloat over something SO awful?  What Brandi wrote in her text may have been snotty, but it certainly didn’t indicate that she was rubbing Daddio’s death in Lisa’s face.  I’m not shy about the fact that I’m not a Brandi fan, but this time I’ll defend her based on the info we’ve been given. 

Brandi took to Twitter to share that Lisa’s interpretation and TMZ’s report about WHY she sent the message was total crap (and she of course managed to throw some shade Lisa’s way at the same time).  “I knew nothing of a dog’s death I’m an animal advocate. I RESCUE dogs. I don’t buy them to use as accessories.” 

When asked why she couldn’t have just sat by and let it sit since it was Xmas, she replied, “it can but she ran to TMZ with it on Christmas not me.” 

Brandi also Tweeted a bit of an explanation of why she sent the text to Lisa.  “If UR going to use a TV show to talk shit about me where I am UNable to defend myself UR getting a rude text at the very least #VANDERCUNT.” 

She also suggested that Lisa should block her number in the future, “If you don’t want to get text from somebody here’s a tip-BLOCK THEIR NUMBER!! unless of course you need to use those texts to get press…”

Maybe it’s the holiday that has me feeling soft, but I sort of feel for Brandi on this one.  The text definitely could’ve been handled differently, but to run to TMZ with it – over Xmas no less – is pretty petty.  And then to suggest that the text was a low blow about Daddio’s passing..not classy.  It tarnishes the Vanderpump halo a bit, unless there’s more to it that we’re not hearing.

RHOA’s Sheree Whitfield Sued By “Chateau Sheree” Contractors for Nonpayment

Sheree Whitfield, who stars on the Real Housewives of Atlanta is reportedly, knee-deep once again, in financial woes. The wannabe fashion designer and feisty cast member is allegedly being hauled into court by a contracting company for failure to fork over $15,450 in unpaid bills for work that is being done on her very controversial and forever-manse-in-the-works, “Chateau Sheree,” states the Atlanta Constitution-Journal.

The lawsuit which was filed by Stoploss Specialists, an emergency response contractor on December 17 of this year at Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court, not only demand payment but have tacked on yet another $7,550 in late fees and other charges.

According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims they were hired a year ago to “supply equipment, labor and/or materials for the improvement” of Sheree’s yet uncompleted, five-years-in-the-making-and-still-counting, 16,000 square foot mansion. The controversial home construction project has been the subject of countless jokes on RHOA as Sheree’s co-stars ridiculed her for taking an inordinate amount of time to complete her home. Since Sheree broke ground on the home, the scuttlebutt has been that she was over her head and could not afford the costly venture. Over the years, there had even been reports that the much-maligned home had fallen into foreclosure because oftentimes it just sat with no visible construction going on.

Sheree also had more than her fair share of debt problems that involved child support issues and legal debt entanglements. The divorced mom of three’s peach was also taken away by the RHOA powers-that-be back in 2012 which meant a serious lack of a hefty paycheck. Now even though Sheree is back on RHOA’s season 8 but her role is not as robust as it was back-in-the-day. In Sheree’s Bravo blog last month, she briefly talked about her albatross stating how she, “took on an enormous project with my family and clearly got in way over my head.”

Phaedra Parks Still Blames Kenya Moore for Altercation in Miami

Phaedra Parks isn’t afraid of putting self-proclaimed new queen of delusion bee Kenya Moore on blast, and she spent some time in her blog this week doing just that! Right or wrong, Phaedra is still convinced that Kenya’s “fears and poor communication skills” turned a sticky situation into an all-out brawl in Miami. The Real Housewives of Atlanta lawyer also discusses her thoughts on the plight of black men – and specifically black youth – in this country, and why the Miami incident sparked conversation about deeper issues. 

Phaedra reflects on the Miami scene: “Everything happened very fast. One moment we were all having fun and in a split second things took a disastrous turn. Initially, I was shocked and stunned, but when I saw Tammy [McCall-Browning] on the ground, I sprung into EMT mode and went to help her. I took her pulse, checked her breathing, and determined she did not need CPR, so I just stayed by her side until the ambulance arrived. It could have been much worse.”

Concern about her own boys caused Phaedra to think about the situation in a different light. She explains, “The plight of African-American boys is close to my heart. Being the mother of two black sons requires me to be more aware of society’s perceptions, because I have to teach them how to appropriately conduct themselves in situations like this. While Glen’s behavior and actions were clearly unacceptable, seeing him provoked into a confrontational situation is a prime example of how a manageable incident can quickly escalate into a dangerous situation.”

Claiming that communication – or lack thereof – is at the heart of any potential volatile moment, Phaedra seems to place the blame for Glen’s outburst squarely on Kenya’s shoulders. She maintains, “Kenya’s fears and poor communication skills turned what should have simply been an uncomfortable situation into an act of violence.” 

“I got emotional because all too often young black boys are in similar situations that unexpectedly and unnecessarily turn violent and result in them either being seriously hurt or killed,” continues Phaedra, referencing her deep sympathy with the families of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown.

But what about Glen’s aggression (or perceived aggression) and toward the women, and his physical outburst? Phaedra claims, “I do not condone violence against women — I am a woman, daughter, sister, and mother — but I equally do not condone labeling or stereotyping.”

Someone Phaedra does not blame is Kim Fields – for getting the hell up out of there! She does admit in her blog, “I was disappointed in the sense I wanted to spend more time with her, and I wanted her to enjoy herself, but she needed to do what was best for her. Kim has never been around a group of women like this before, and Lord knows it can be troubling at times. What happened was upsetting, and I can’t fault anyone for doing whatever they felt was necessary for their safety and well-being.”

Teresa Giudice Enjoys “Very Private” Homecoming And Has No Immediate Plans For Upcoming Appearances

As y’all know, everyone’s favorite table-flipper was released from prison bright and early yesterday morning. Teresa Giudice was greeted by her family and a media presence usually reserved for a royal wedding. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star even got a sweet new ride out of the deal…I guess now that she’s served her time on all those bankruptcy fraud charges, she can go back to spending the money she claimed not to have!

After nearly a year in a minimum security prison, Teresa was certainly elated to be reunited with her loved ones, and her lawyer informed the crowd that the reality star had a “very emotional, very private” homecoming with Juicy Joe and her four daughters…and a camera crew from People magazine exclusively capturing the entire event for Tuesday’s print edition. He also asserted that Teresa wouldn’t be making any public appearances in the coming weeks. Yeah, and I’ve got some ocean front property in Arizona!

A source on the inside tells People that Tre’s family was waiting anxiously for her release, stating, “Joe was waiting for her in the driveway smiling,” to gift his wife her Lexus. The same source adds that everyone else convened in the kitchen to shower the matriarch with love and affection, revealing, “Joe kind of stood off to the side for a second and let them all greet their mother. Then the whole family kind of embraced each other and had a moment together.”

Another insider shares that daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana “could hardly sleep last night because they were so excited that their mom was coming home,” continuing, “It has been a pretty challenging year for her and her family, to say the least.”

As for Teresa? The source claims that while overwhelmed, “She was just really excited and happy and, smiling from ear to ear the whole time. She has missed them all so much while she was in prison. She is going to spend as much time with them as she can.”

Who wants to do an over under on when Teresa’s first public appearance will be?
