After tonight’s Real Housewives of New Jersey season finale, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga headed over to Watch What Happens Live to hang out with Andy. Teresa explained her rekindled friendship with Danielle Staub, blames Jacqueline Laurita for calling the feds on her and so much more. Kim DePaola also weighed in, accusing Melissa of not actually owning her Envy boutique.
Teresa and Danielle got together again for another yoga class. Andy asks who reached out to who first? “You kind of started it, honey. Yes, at the reunion you brought her up and then after the reunion I was thinking about it and DM’ed her and right away she called me back and then we texted back and forth and I asked if she did yoga.” Teresa says Danielle admitted to loving yoga so they met up at one of the yoga places Danielle goes to.
Would she consider them friends again? “You know, it was like just where we left off. Like it was totally fine, like before flipping the table – when she first came on the show. I feel like she never tried to hurt me in any way, like maliciously and I just wanted her to know that.” Melissa says she wasn’t surprised about them connecting again, she felt it coming.
Why didn’t Teresa want to speak to Jacqueline alone? Melissa replied, “Nobody said they didn’t want to speak to her alone.” She says that the lunch was set up so nice and then Jacqueline started barking orders on who should sit where.
Andy plays a clip from the reunion where Teresa says she absolutely believes that Jacqueline called the feds on her and set her up. After the clip Teresa then says again that she thinks Jacqueline was definitely behind it.
A viewer asks what Teresa thinks about Jacqueline crying on camera every time something is happening with Teresa’s family. “Well, maybe she’s guilty of something. Like why is she always crying, exactly. The guilt’s coming through.”
How did Teresa feel about Kim D. saying Joe cheated while Teresa was away? “I just laughed. I was like ‘now she’s on the bandwagon’? It didn’t even bother me.”
Do they wish Siggy Flicker would just pick a side? Teresa says to Andy, “that was your job at the reunion.” Melissa chimes in during the awkward pause, “We do wish, it doesn’t have to be our side or that side, but she I think now…” Melissa then stops and explains that at first Siggy felt some loyalty to Jacqueline since she brought her on the show, but that now she might see things differently. “I think she sees clearly now.”
Viewers feel like Melissa dropped Kathy Wakile once she was back in Teresa’s good graces. Melissa says, “Kathy and I stopped hanging out and talking way before Teresa went away. It was a year before that we had started to separate a little bit, things got weird. I don’t know.”
Since Teresa made up with Danielle, does she think the same might happen with Caroline Manzo in the future? “No. N.O. spells no.” Melissa says she and Caroline don’t speak on the phone, they’re just like acquaintances. “If I see her, I have no problems with Caroline. I love her family but I don’t speak to her or go to lunch.” Teresa jumps in and says that Caroline stopped speaking to Melissa when it was no longer “good for Caroline.” Melissa says again, “we weren’t like girlfriends before the show, I only met her through the show.” Andy asks if she thinks Caroline was only her friend when it was ‘good for Caroline’ but Melissa says she never really had a relationship with Caroline, Teresa did but not Melissa.
A caller asks Melissa if the reason that Derek is no longer working at Envy is because of the packet of info Kim D. had on him. “No, that’s not the reason he’s no longer at Envy. We switched things up a little bit and I think he wanted to move on and do other things also. So that’s not the reason at all. Kim D. comes up with things that come out of the sky that make no sense, anything to stay relevant. As long as Kim says my name then she’s around.” Andy asks if Kim has been to Envy yet and Melissa says no but jokes that she probably looks in the windows at night to see what she has going on.
Kim D wasted no time Tweeting back:
Andy read the Tweets to Melissa on-air but her only response was to stick her tongue out.
