Gracie Abrams Feels ‘Lucky to Learn’ From Taylor Swift

Gracie Abrams recently gave a shout-out to Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the Billboard Women in Music 2025 award show. On March 29, the singer received the Songwriter of the Year award at the prestigious event that took place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. Besides Swift, Abrams also went on to thank songwriter Sarah Aarons and Audrey Hobert.

While accepting the Songwriter of the Year trophy at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music award show, Gracie Abrams expressed her heartwarming gratitude toward her mentor, Taylor Swift. She said, “I’ve been lucky to learn from and write with some of the most wonderful and talented people — the incomparable Miss Taylor Swift.”

Abrams continued, “I will never stop thanking her for the gift of her pen,” which she believes “very much raised” her. The singer further expressed her gratefulness towards songwriter Sarah Aarons. She said, “I looked up to Sarah’s writing for ages before I ever met her.” The artist revealed that she was 19 when she first began working with Aarons. Abrams explained, “She didn’t need to be as kind to me as she was. But she was, and I will cherish that forever.”

Gracie Abrams then went on to mention her best friend and writer, Audrey Hobert, who co-wrote some songs for Abrams’ album “The Secret of Us.” The rising sensation expressed while addressing Hobert, “For every single reason, I am me because of you.” She also added, “Our album is what it is because of you.” Besides these prominent ladies, Abrams also praised the presenter of the Songwriter of the Year award, Victoria Monét. Referring to Monét as a “a quadruple threat,” the singer said, “She’s an insane writer, unparalleled vocalist, inventive producer and amazing dancer. I’m just in awe of you every day.”

Hailey Bieber went on record to shut down the rumors surrounding her “unfollowing” her husband, Justin Bieber, on Instagram. In the last few months, the star couple, who welcomed their first child last year, have been caught up in online chatter about their relationship. Some have even speculated there could be trouble in paradise. Recently, another incident that involved Hailey allegedly unfollowing Justin on Instagram had the internet talking. However, the socialite has shut down the rumors and clarified that it was a “glitch.”

Hailey and Justin Bieber were once again caught up in speculations about their marriage after some social media users claimed that the model unfollowed her husband on Instagram. A TikToker, whose name is Michelle, shared a video about the same. The clip showcased how Justin’s profile didn’t appear in Hailey’s following list. However, the TikToker also noted that the results could have been “delayed” due to the singer’s “17-minute deactivation on Instagram.”

The video was quick to garner attention on the platform and racked up over a million views. Shortly after the TikTok user shared it, Hailey herself took to the comments section to clarify the misunderstanding. The 28-year-old wrote, “It’s a glitch. Didn’t unfollow him,” and added, “Hope this helps!”

The new Instagram issue came after Justin had briefly unfollowed Hailey in January. However, the singer re-followed her soon and went on to clarify what happened. Justin claimed that his account was seemingly hacked, reported Elle. The 31-year-old wrote on his Instagram Story, “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife.” Justin added, “S–t is getting suss out here.” 

While there has been a lot of chatter about Justin and Hailey’s marriage, the couple is shutting the noise out and focusing on themselves. Recently, the two were spotted having the best time during their little adventure-packed trip to Disneyland. Days later, Justin and Hailey also enjoyed a sushi date night in LA.
