Kary Brittingham & Claudia Jordan Debate On Lack Of Diversity On Real Housewives Of Dallas

Claudia Jordan is gone from housewives but clearly not forgotten. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member was only on for one season but made quite an impact when she famously went toe-to-toe with OG NeNe Leakes. But for some reason, Claudia just didn’t fit on the show. She made a quick exit before we even really got a chance to know her. I actually really liked her. Anyone who could show up on their first season and read NeNe has my adoration forever. Maybe she didn’t have the most interesting story line (ok, she didn’t really have one at all). Still, I thought she brought some much needed sanity to the show. I think every franchise needs one level headed housewife that seems grounded in actual reality.

Is Kary Brittingham that housewife on Real Housewives of Dallas? Honestly, I don’t know considering how new she is. She doesn’t seem to resonate with fans, despite gracefully handling now defunct cast mate LeeAnne Locken’s relentless attacks on her ethnicity.

Now Kary is facing another heated debate on the topic of race, culture and diversity when it comes to the housewives franchise. In a recent post compiled by iRealHousewives on their Instagram account,Kary and Claudia really got into it. Claudia, who actually had an interview to be on RHOD but didn’t make the cut took to social media to express her feelings.

Claudia was all up in the comments section on a post by iRealHousewives’ account. She commented “and STILL no women of color….Dallas come on now. There are sooooo many beautiful, fun, cool wealthy women of color in the Dallas social scene that should be considered for this show and still nothing.” She continues, “It didn’t have to be me-but PLEASE consider representing better.”

Kary clearly took issue and responded, “@claudiajordan you did try out and I actually hoped you would come on the show but I could make the same argument about many other shows including Atlanta that they don’t have any latinas!!!!! Are you implying that only black people count as diversity???? Or only black people have spice?????” Claudia responded saying that she’s “surprised” Kary said that and invited her to “discuss it.”

Claudia went on to say that Kary missed her “entire point” and that she thinks “the shows should reflect the demographic of the CITY they are portraying.” She asks,”So are u saying they have u so no need for more ethnicities since they have you?” Kary followed up with “……I don’t think it’s ok to say DALLAS is not getting the needed spice just because they didn’t add a black woman.”

The two went back and forth a little more and one user commented, asking what about Kary, to indicate that Kary is a diverse cast member. Kary noticed and responded, “guess she only thinks of diversity if is [sic] her race.” She included a little eye roll emoji to really get her point across. Another comment thought Claudia was bashing RHOD because she didn’t get the gig.

Claudia maintained she’s booked and busy doing her own thing and doesn’t need to be a housewife, surmising, “Y’all gotta stop attacking anyone that has a damn opinion.” When another account called her “salty”, she made sure they knew exactly where she stands, “I can’t be socially conscious without having a personal motive? Dumb and dumber. I don’t have to benefit from something to care about the greater good.”

I feel like they both have solid points. Maybe they could just agree to hear each other out OFF social media? Regardless of what everyone thinks, representation on Real Housewives matters. It would be great to see them come together in a mutual respect for each others’ opinions. I hope that happens in the future.

Lisa Vanderpump Says Jax Taylor’s Mom Told Brittany Cartwright To Ditch Jax Taylor

Tom Sandoval wasn’t the only one who Jax Taylor feuded with during his groomzilla madness. Jax was also at odds with his own mother, who didn’t get an invite to the wedding.

Instead, the Vanderpump Rules OG had his godmother and Lisa Vanderpump on hand for support during the wedding weekend.

Months after the summer 2019 wedding, Jax and Lisa discussed his strained relationship with his mom on the Vanderpump Rules After Show. The man formerly known as Jason Cauchi claimed, “There was just so much hurt and so many things said. A lot of things said, like below the belt type of stuff. Things that you really can’t come back from.”

Jax began, “I said one thing to her, which I do take back, it was really bad. I don’t even want to tell you what I said. And then, not only that, but pulling my wife aside at my sister’s wedding and saying things to her.”

Apparently, Lisa already heard this story before because she chimed in to say that his mom was “saying that you weren’t worthy of Brittany [Cartwright]. I mean, come on.” Yikes. His own mom was trying to end his relationship. How Barb Weber, which is a reference for anyone who watched the recent Bachelor finale.

Jax remarked, “I just want to make sure I’m never gonna regret this in my life.”

Lisa told Jax, “I was gonna speak to your mother, but then I spoke to Brittany about it and I thought that maybe it’s too complicated. I wanted to talk to her as mother to mother. Like ‘Are you sure?’ I would have regretted not being there and he’s not my son and I had legitimate reasons why I couldn’t be there.”

When Lisa asked Jax if his mother reached out to him and vice versa, he confirmed that neither one of them has attempted to communicate with each other. He also said his mother hasn’t reached out to Brittany or his sister.

Lisa said, “You’re gonna have a baby soon. She’s not pregnant, but, it’s gonna be her grandchild. Is she gonna miss out on everything? That’s very sad.”

And then Jax shared some family history that makes this rift a lot less surprising. Jax revealed, “It’s weird because my mother didn’t speak to her mother for thirty years. And her mother didn’t speak to her mother for like twenty years. So this is like a thing.”

An off-camera producer asked Jax, “Did they ever resolve it, your mom and your grandma?” And Jax said, “No.”

Joe Giudice Implies Joe Gorga Lied About Him On Real Housewives Of New Jersey Reunion

Did Joe Giudice get a paycheck for Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 10? Even though he was in jail/ICE/Italy for the past few seasons, he’s still managed to dominate the storylines with all of his legal drama.

This season, a big topic of conversation was the “rumor” that Joe Giudice cheated on Teresa Giudice. She even admitted she found a secret cell phone that he used solely to contact another woman. And even with that glaring evidence, Teresa still wasn’t sure if he was cheating on her. Is she playing dumb? Or does that evidence really not sway her? Well, anyway, Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga continued to use her for screentime shared his thoughts on the Joe Giudice cheating rumors during Part 3 of the reunion.

During the reunion, Joe Gorga said that he firmly believes Joe Giudice cheated, but he never told Teresa. He declared, “I never told you. And I’ll tell you why — because it wouldn’t be nice. It wouldn’t be nice. So if my sister was happy and she believed it, I stayed away. But if my sister called me and said, ‘Joe, I need your help,’ then it would have been game over.” Especially if there was a camera crew filming, right?

During that same reunion, Joe Gorga claimed, “I might not like him, I’m going to be honest with you, I might not like him. You think I like what he did? And what he put my family through? I’m very upset but I still feel bad for him. I didn’t want that to happen to him. And I didn’t want him suffering, because I have a heart and I feel for him. I might not like you, but I love you in a way.”

This is a far cry from the Joe Gorga who mustered up tears for camera time during the Easter episode when Joe Giudice appeared via speaker phone. Well, Joe Giudice clapped back. Then, he deleted his posts, but HollywoodLife came through with the screenshots.

In response to the reunion episode, Joe Giudice wrote, “A persons mouth can lie, but their eyes always tell the truth. We all have a lot to say tune in next season to see who is telling the truth. I don’t think you would know how much stress…? #truth.” Does this mean Joe Giudice is gonna appear on the show next season? How does that make any sense? Teresa does not ever want to be in the same room as him, clearly.

In the comments section of that now-deleted post, Joe wrote, “We both respect and love our girls. She is a beautiful mother grateful.”

In another now-deleted post, Joe Giudice wrote, “If I am a lier, then you are the reason.” Unfortunately, Joe Giudice did not take a grammar course “at camp.”

The word is “liar,” Joe. And we all know that it has applied to you many times over, throughout the years.

It’s a real Sophie’s Choice over here. Do we side with the Joe who uses his sister for camera time? Or the Joe that put his family through hell with all of his legal and financial issues? I guess, Joe Gorga, since it’s pretty obvious to all of us with sight that Joe Giudice was not a faithful husband. I am ready for the Teresa Cohen era. Someone needs to find this woman the nice, Jewish husband that she desires.
