Big Brother 19 Spoilers: Eviction Nominations – Week 10

Last night, Christmas Abbott won this week’s Big Brother 19 Head of Household competition. Apparently, everyone else playing (all but Jason Dent, as outgoing HOH) this week’s ‘Ready Set, Whoa’ HOH competition had a false start. Christmas won the title by default. It really didn’t matter who won this Big Brother 19 Head of Household competition, because they all have one goal: get out Alex Ow or Jason.

Big Brother 19 Paul Abrahamiann and Christmas Abbott

Of course, Alex and Jason are completely unaware of this plan. They believe Raven Walton or Kevin Schlehuber are Christmas and ‘the house’s’ targets. In reality, Paul Abrahamian has put groundwork in to have Alex or Jason leave. Furthering his agenda, Alex already agreed to be a pawn.

Originally, Christmas planned to give a speech making it clear that Kevin is her target. However, now she seems to be ready to just flat out let Jason know that he is her target. Meanwhile, the house will all be working against Alex and Jason to get him to stay on the block. If Jason wins the Power of Veto, then Alex will leave the house in his place. If Alex wins the Veto, Jason leaves. Paul will also lie and say that he believes he is Christmas’s real target.

He wants to pretend that she will backdoor him. Once again, the ‘house’ will act shocked when Jason and Alex are Christmas’s targets, and not Kevin. The pairs has shown themselves to be too strong of competitors to not be the next two targets for Paul, and by association Raven, Josh Martinez, and Christmas.

So did everything go as planned this Big Brother 19 week?

MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD. PROCEED WITH CAUTION

**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Yup, Christmas nominnated Alex Ow and Jason Dent for eviction. Jason needs to win the Veto, or he’s gooing to be gone on Thursday.

Big Brother 19 Spoilers: Week 10 Final Tree of Temptation Results

Today, Big Brother opened the Tree of Temptation one last time. Three weeks ago, Big Brother 19 introduced the final temptation, and the houseguests barely reacted. Mark Jansen was the only player to go for one of the five apples. He won the ‘Save a Friend’ prize, which was pretty useless for him, since all his friends had already left the Big Brother 19 house.

Big Brother 19 Tree of Temptation

Last week, the Tree of Temptation lit up again for the entire Friday morning to early evening. This time, no one even flinched at the tree. It went a complete day without anyone going for it. The Big Brother 19 houseguests are so scared to be a target that they won’t risk taking a temptation.

Additionally, the temptations offered on the tree aren’t that enticing. The remaining prizes and punishments are:

  • Eliminate 2 Eviction Votes
  • Second Veto
  • Bounty on Your Head
  • Can’t Play in Next Head of Household

The Second Veto and Eliminate 2 Eviction Votes are pretty tempting but the players only have a 50 percent chance of getting a good prizes versus a bad prize. The odds aren’t that great to risk it. Early this morning, the Tree of Temptation went red, and the Big Brother 19 houseguests decided to put their middle fingers up to the tree instead of trying to win a prize from it.

Therefore, once again the Tree of Temptation was a bust. This is the final week it will be open. So all and all this was a failed final temptation.

Big Brother 19 Alex Ow

The Big Brother 19 nomination ceremony coming up soon…

Vicki Gunvalson son in law Ryan Culberson Marine Corps

Even though Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter Briana Culberson has become an honorary cast member on Real Housewives of Orange County at this point, the fans haven’t seen too much of her husband Ryan Culberson because he has been away with the Marine Corps. Now he is back and ready for some time with the fam.

After a tough start with Briana and Ryan getting married out of nowhere, Vicki getting upset that the family temporarily left Orange County for Oklahoma, and that random disagreement with Lydia McLaughlin’s mom, Vicki has grown to love her son-in-law and she seems to pretty pumped that he is back.

Vicki celebrated Ryan’s homecoming by posting a photo of him in uniform with Briana on her Instagram page.

She wrote, “@ryan_culberson has completed his time in the Marine Corps. Thank you for your sacrifice so we can live in the land of the free! I’m so proud to call you my son in law and thank you for making my daughter so happy. You got this! You’re not alone! Our family is strong!”

Ryan also posted the same photo. He shared, “Today is the first day in my civilian journey post Marine Corps. I like to thank everyone who over the years have been there for me. I know that with my wife and family by my side this will be a smooth transition, here’s to new adventures, Semper Fidelis! #marines #marinecorp#usmc #semperfi #family.”

Bethenny Frankel Vacations In Ibiza – Photos

Bethenny-Frankel-Ibiza

Bethenny-Frankel-Ibiza

After a whole season of fighting with Ramona Singer, Bethenny Frankel more than deserves a vacation and some time away from her Real Housewives of New York costars. Bethenny escaped the US all together to live it up, relax, and eat her way through Ibiza, Spain.

Even though Bethenny has never had a problem “telling it like it is” when it comes to her RHONY costars, but she is very private when it comes to her own personal life. So there’s no word on whether she took a solo trip or if she was accompanied by her daughter Bryn Hoppy or her on-again boyfriend Dennis Shields, but she did share a bunch of photos from her vacation.

Bethenny enjoyed the boats, food, and night life of Ibiza and posted a bunch of photos to share with her followers. This looks way more peaceful than that tumultuous cast trip to Mexico, that’s for sure. But then again, any vacation is a million times more relaxing than any trip that the Real Housewives take as a cast. Most of those vacations are so drama-filled that I imagine they all need a vacation to decompress from their vacation.

Check out the photo gallery below to see Bethenny living it up in Ibiza.

Stephanie Hollman Admits Real Housewives Of Dallas Got The Best Of Her; Things With Brandi Redmond Are All Good

Stephanie Hollman sits down with Brandi Redmond

Stephanie Hollman sits down with Brandi Redmond

Stephanie Hollman‘s second season of Real Housewives Of Dallas is off to a poopy start – she’s feuding with her BFF Brandi Redmond, still dealing with LeeAnne Locken, and being forced into renovating the house from hell.

However, after surviving her first season and temporarily losing a close friendship with BrandiStephanie is trying to stay sane in the Bravo Universe.

“It’s really hard to be vulnerable on something that’s meaningful,” Stephanie says of her sit-down with Brandi. “Like the first few weeks of filming, I felt like I was gonna have a nervous breakdown because […] it was important and it was an emotional thing. I was so worried that I was gonna screw everything up by putting it out there with her because you know with cameras on you everything is so heightened, so it was scary.”

This is the Bethenny and Jill reconciliation we all wanted but never got. Good to see these two besties salvaging their friendship and not letting Real Housewives ruin a legit relationship. We want more honest relationships, Bravo!

Brandi and Stephanie’s argument was essentially a series of miscommunications: a misinterpreted Bravo blog, a snippy comment at the Father’s Day party, and a hashtag. The unspoken dramas from last season lingered: “like compiling things on top of each other, it was just like everything was broken. It was just like the saddest four months. Because she is, and was, like my sister – it was hard.”

Stephanie blames the Father’s Day incident on her annoyance with Travis. Her telling him “go hang out with your friends” was meant for Travis to “go hang out with the dudes,” not referring to Brandi. “But I could see how she [Brandi] would’ve heard that and taken it as I was saying that she wasn’t her friend.” Brandi: Grow-up.

RELATED – Flashback To The RHOD Season 2 Premiere Recap

On the infamous Bravo blog in which Stephanie supposedly insulted Brandi’s marriage, that was, again, Travis’s fault.

“If you read the Bravo blog, I’m not talking about her and Bryan; I’m talking about Travis and her husband showing up drunk and late to meet [Brandi’s] grandfather. And that was a slow-moving car crash – that my husband was with her husband, and it was humiliating and I felt like he had a really big role in why that went so bad for her. I think you have to put yourself in her shoes, and everyone’s shoes that do the show, because it’s so exposed. I mean, marriage is such a big thing and maybe she was getting so much negativity from … people on twitter are so hard and it’s harsh, and they wanna tell you everything about your life and everything about your marriage! So I do think there was a possibility that she kinda skimmed over and took that, and felt like it wasn’t a supportive thing.”

“It was not malicious,” Stephanie reiterates. “I feel bad.”

Real Housewives Of Dallas has actually wreaked havoc on more than just Stephanie’s friendships. After season 1, she went to a retreat to work on herself. “Whenever Brandi and I weren’t talking, I realized that I was in such a negative unhealthy place. Like I couldn’t get out of bed – my world kinda stopped. That’s not normal behavior, I feel like, and it’s not something I want my children to see.”

“Even this year I have to really compartmentalize my job vs. my life, because last year it became one,” Stephanie continues. “Like this is a job, these are my co-workers, and yes, I’m friends with some of them, but I cannot make this my life. Their drama cannot become my reality because then you miss out on everything. I feel like there was a point, where probably both of us were so focused on just staying, like, not being depressed. It was so hard, and it hits you all at once, and then you go from people not knowing who you are to people having something negative to say about you every day. I feel like it just got the best of both of us – and I know I didn’t handle it right.”

Now Stephanie and Brandi have a friendship contract Bravo clause in their relationship and prioritize their real friendship outside the show to make sure they don’t let LeAnne Locken RHOD come between them again. After watching the new episodes, they check-in to remind each other that they love each other and their friendship is legit and strong, to talk through any lingering feelings, “because watching it just puts you back into a hard space.”

In other news, Stephanie and Travis are still renovating the indoor pool house, but the pool is now covered up.

“This is a labor of love and hate,” Stephanie laughs. “It’s gonna be exciting, but it’s so much work!” She considered doing a sexy mermaid party for Travis before they covered the pool but sanity set it in. “It’s never gonna happen because then he’d get all excited.”

Stephanie and Travis also have a side gig where they “build and sell” two homes a year “just for fun,” and because her sister is a realtor in the area.

The show didn’t adequately show how amazing Stephanie’s chandelier graveyard looked, but the dead house party killed two birds with one stone! “You usually have to commit yourself to one ‘thing’ [event] during the season, I was like I’m gonna do Halloween cause it’s my favorite holiday and it was kinda at the beginning [of filming] too, so I thought I could just get it over with,” she tells AfterBuzz TV. “And not have the pressure.”

Stephanie also dishes on her new castmates, Kameron Westcott and D’Andra Simmons. So far she likes them both and takes them with a grain of margarita salt.

Cary’s actually kinda the one who got Kameron involved. I met her right before, like, we started filming so I didn’t really know her going in.” Stephanie reveals. “She’s kinda got her own little world and … whenever I filmed with her, it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ Like you’re transported and you can’t get out!” she jokes. “It was really entertaining though.”

RELATED – Cary Deuber Has Friends Throughout The Bravo Universe

Kameron will have drama with Brandi. “Which is ridiculous and funny,” shares Stephanie, “because the stuff they fight about is so funny and ridiculous.” Which means we’ll be hearing about these little snafu-slights all season, and onto the next.

She also doesn’t see what the big deal is about the pink dog food, “If that’s your passion and that’s what you wanna do – go for it; you only live once.”

Stephanie finds the dynamic between D’Andra and Mama Dee “fascinating.” D’Andra’s spending is also fascinating, especially when getting lectured by her barely-out-of-high-school son about economics and budgeting.

Stephanie defends D’Andra’s over-the-top, lavish lifestyle (re: she’s crazy in the good Housewives way) because D’Andra’s money is legit. “She’s very unapologetic for who she is,” describes Stephanie. “And I think people forget that everything is relative. People are like, ‘$18,000 – like why would you do that for a dress?!’ but maybe for her, it’s relative.”

Stephanie’s most expensive dress purchase was the red Dior gown she wore for the Bravo commercial, which she paid $10,000 for. Tax write-off!

Personally, I love Stephanie. She seems like a normal, sane person with just enough kookiness to make her fun. I really appreciate her friendship with Brandi, even though Brandi annoys the Bejesus Juice out of me! As my mama (not Dee) always told me: there’s somebody out there to appreciate everybody.

Say what you will about Bethenny Frankel, but she knows how to get sh*t done. The Real Housewives Of New York star has sprung into action since the devastation of Hurricane Harvey hit Houston and its surrounding areas, rallying business, volunteers, and donations through her organization, B Strong.

So far, Bethenny’s efforts – largely spread through social media outreach – have recruited two hundred volunteers, $80k in donations, and thousands of supplies for disaster relief to those affected by the tragedy. Bethenny has also pledged, herself, to travel to Houston to aid in distribution of gift cards and organize outreach. Her fundraising efforts are geared toward women and families in crisis.

Bethenny’s staff has been working around the clock to organize relief efforts, and the Skinnygirl mogul has been sharing constant updates via video, tweets, Instagram, and Facebook posts on her personal accounts.

Three days ago, Bethenny posted a rallying cry on Instagram for people to get involved through her organization to help those in need. She wrote, “What’s happening in Texas is devastating, but the response from people around the country is inspiring. #BStrong will be making a donation to help @dressforsuccesswomen in need in #Houston & #CorpusChristi. Donate and find out more at bethenny.com/bstrong. #linkinbio #womenhelpingwomen #THISISACRISIS”

Bethenny followed up with an explanation of why B Strong is helping out the effort.

“B Strong was created to help women in crisis. This is a crisis. We are pledging $30K to go directly to @DressforSuccess women affected by Hurricane Harvey in #Houston and #CorpusChristi. Click the link in my BIO – Bethenny.com/Bstrong – to donate and make sure help goes immediately to women in need. I am calling on STRONG successful women to join me and act now. Bethenny.com/BStrong #Thisisacrisis #bstrong #womenhelpingwomen.”

After only one day of fundraising, B Strong raised an additional $50k. Bethenny later posted a video describing how to donate. She shared, “100 PERCENT of the donations we are raising go to women and families in need in the Houston area. #thisisacrisis #bstrong#workingforyoutexas To donate click the link in my BIO – Bethenny.com/Bstrong. For questions e-mail: BStrong@bethenny.com For updates tune into my Facebook Live at 3pm EST.” Bethenny, her staff, and the B Strong organization will not be dipping into any of the funds to reimburse their own time and work.

Updating her Twitter feed with names of small businesses and grassroots organizations who are jumping on board to donate, Bethenny encouraged her followers, “Please take note & support the brands I’m mentioning. Many are female startups & billion dollar cos said no to us. Give them LOVE.” Companies have donated everything from bedding and money to tampons, bras, and personal supplies for those in need.

Bethenny had also been lining up volunteers to distribute the goods, which she will organize and oversee. “We have over 200 volunteers lined up,” Bethenny tweeted just hours ago, in response to one follower wondering how supplies will reach the people of Texas.

Well, Bethenny, all I can say is BRAVO! (And I don’t mean the network.)

To get involved, check out Bethenny’s video on B Strong’s relief efforts here.

Ramona Singer Admits She Had A “Difficult Season” On RHONY: “I Behaved Poorly”

Ramona Singer Admits She Had A "Difficult Season" On RHONY: "I Behaved Poorly"

NEW YORK, NY - AUGUST 09: Television personality Ramona Singer visits Extra on August 9, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by J. Kempin/Getty Images for Extra)

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. For Ramona Singer, season nine of The Real Housewives Of New York was surely the most dramatic of times. Now that she’s had a chance to reflect on the season, the three-part reunion, and viewer feedback, Ramona says she sees it all in a new light. And she opens up about the personal turmoil her divorce from Mario Singer threw her into, which affected her in ways we might not have seen.

Ramona’s latest blog is about as introspective as I’ve ever seen her, which is interesting. Is she feeling humbled by watching herself on TV, or is she in damage control? Either way, she opens up about her feelings on the season and what contributed to her actions. “To say I had a difficult season on RHONY is an understatement,” she begins. “As I watched back over the past few months, seeing myself has given me the opportunity to reflect and face the truth. The bottom line is, I behaved poorly.”

Ramona admits, “I treated others in a way that was disrespectful, and there’s no excuse for that, so I have decided to share what I personally have been going through this past year as I have been avoiding dealing with my feelings like the plague.”

“What I must say is that when you are filming a reality show, it is real, it is raw. No matter what happens to you the night before or the call you get before you start to film,  it’s all there…no script and you can’t become another character. I thought I was OK, I thought I was happy and I thought I was dealing with my divorce well, but the reality is that wasn’t the case at all.”

Some of Ramona’s cast mates wondered if the 60-year old divorcee was hiding her true feelings about losing Mario. Ramona confesses that yes, she was.

She explains, “I never thought the man who loved me so deeply and became the love of my life  would cheat on me repeatedly! I never thought he would ask for my forgiveness and then do it all over again. Internally, I was broken and did not know how I could move forward. I never really allowed myself to show anyone the deep pain of what happened with the downfall of my marriage. I thought I was putting on a good facade, but the truth came through in my actions and my behavior this season.”

Though Ramona knows many people pointed it out, she didn’t see how the pain of her failed marriage was affecting her behavior and relationships at the time. Now, she is trying to make sense of it all, including why she initially tried to forgive Mario and let him move back in.

She writes in her blog, “As women, we are known as fixers, and our job is to protect the people we love. I was married for 23 years, and when my marriage was falling apart, I did everything I could to fix it, even accepting abusive behavior from the man who was supposed to be my protector. I was so happy for so many years, and then it all just fell apart and at the end, I was so emotionally broken. My husband and my child meant everything to me. I never imagined that I would lose one of them, and I just didn’t know how to deal with all of it. When you are in pain and you’re hurting, it can manifest in many ways, so in my case it came out in my denial that I OK ok and in my behavior. I understand that now, and I am trying to do better.”

RELATED: Ramona Singer Vacations In Aspen – Photos!

Even though Ramona felt financially stable and emotionally secure in her marriage for a long time, she attributes much of her insecurity – and her later success – to her family of origin.

She describes, “My mother was physically and emotionally abused by my father on a daily basis, and she drummed into my head to be financially independent because of her situation. My mother could not leave her husband as she had nothing. I came from nothing, and I put myself through college. I had no connections, no mentors, no TV show to give me organic advertising to promote a business or product, yet I, against all odds and through determination, had my own multi-million dollar business at 30 years old. I give all the credit to my mother for my financial success.”

Ramona also tips her hat to Bravo for the exposure it’s given her as a business woman. “I also credit Bravo for my exposure of being on RHONY and being the first Real Housewife to be on HSN. I credit Bravo for giving me the platform that helped me develop my own wine, as my fans would always ask what my favorite Pinot Grigio was. Ramona Pinot Grigio was a great success, and I appeared  twice at The Flower Show in Philadelphia, where only the top performing brands are invited. I was proud to be able to accomplish all these things on my own.” Hmm. Sounds a little bit like a clap back at Bethenny Frankel for shading Ramona’s business success on the reunion too!

Much like every other woman on RHONY, Ramona finds herself at a crossroads this year. She shares, “For the first time in my life, I have no plans, no set path, where before I always have. It’s scary but liberating. I am enjoying and embracing life every day, and my daughter Avery is the biggest joy.  She is my best accomplishment, and I know from deep down that I parented her in the right way to make her into the wonderful young women she is today.”

In homage to her tagline, Ramona ends with a newer version of her being an “acquired taste.” She jokes, “I’m not perfect, but I like to say perfect is boring. And boring I will never be!”

Amen.

Big Brother 19 Spoilers: Live Feeds Day 62 Highlights: Paul, Christmas and Josh Plot Another Blindside

This Big Brother 19 night started with the—lack of—fall out from this week’s Live Eviction. Everyone talked positively about Matt Clines as Raven Walton tried to find her new place in the Big Brother game without him. Paul Abrahamian made the immediate decision to tell his true final 3, Christmas Abbott and Josh Martinez, that they needed to pull in Raven. She is the fourth piece to Paul’s dream Big Brother 19 final four. However, this decision is subject to change at any moment.

Big Brother 19 Christmas Abbott and Paul Abrahamian

Most of the intense strategizing didn’t begin until Christmas got her Head of Household key. There was a lot of vague planning before it. Basically the plan is to get Jason Dent out of the Big Brother 19 house this week.

Josh and Paul’s Excellent Adventure

Big Brother 19 Josh Martinez and Paul Abrahamian

Paul and Josh spent some time alone reflecting on their journey and how they made it this far. They both talked about the things they had to overcome in the game, and how grateful they were to make it. Josh and Paul also discussed their plan to get to the final three with Christmas.

Paul made it clear that Raven needed to be the fourth one in their game plan. Josh agreed and also spoke of not letting Paul hit the block. He didn’t want to risk Paul going home before their plan happened. Well, there goes any hope of Josh being the one to take out Paul.

Paul said that he could play the part of the veto winner to keep them in power and safe until final three. In a perfect world, Paul wants Josh to win the next Head of Household competition, then Raven to win it. By then, he will have reached the final four.

The Nomination Plans

Big Brother 19 cast

Christmas and Paul discussed the nomination plans prior to her Head of Household win. Paul instructed Christmas and Josh to hide their close relationship. Josh needed to stop acting so excited when Christmas wins things.

Then Paul told Christmas also that they needed to pull Raven in as their fourth, but not tell her about their final three deal. They agreed. Paul said he would distance himself from Christmas and make people believe they’re not that close.

In fact, he would spread the rumor that he believes Christmas is trying to backdoor him. In reality, Christmas would nominated Jason and Alex Ow. If one of them won the veto, the other one would leave the Big Brother 19 house. However, they would then nominate Kevin Schlehuber, but one of the Jason and Alex duo would leave this week.

They just wouldn’t know they were the target until too late. Maybe, unlike Matt and Raven, they will figure out who was the real mastermind behind their eviction.

Flipping Out Recap: Well, Hello, Monroe

Flipping Out Recap: Well, Hello, Monroe

Jeff-Lewis-Gage-Edward-Baby-Birth-Flipping-Out

It’s the day Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward have been waiting for! Not to mention we diehard Flipping Out fans, who have traveled a long journey with Jeff and the gang since he was just a relatively nameless OCD dude on a little network called Bravo. Last night delivered – both metaphorically and literally – a turning point in Jeff and Gage’s lives: the birth of their daughter, Monroe. And if you haven’t seen this episode yet, I’d suggest at least taking a peek at the birthing scene. The look on Gage’s face as Monroe makes her entrance into the world is incredible, and the new fathers holding their baby for the first time is about as sweet as it gets.

But there cannot be the sweet without the sour, and Jeff also faces a whole heap o’ that in the days leading up to Monroe’s birth. At Valley Vista, Jenni Pulos helps Gage pack his bags for Chico, where he and Jeff will need to travel for the birth. With Vanina Alfaro set to leave the business, the house closing for New Hollywood, and nearly constant construction at Valley Vista, Gage is about to devolve into a puddle on the floor. As for Jeff, he heads to therapy! That’ll fix it.

At the therapist’s office, Jeff confesses that he already feels very protective over his unborn child. He admits he runs a pretty dysfunctional home/office environment, and it’s what he’s used to. But he doesn’t want Monroe, who has a “clean slate,” to be subjected to that. Though Jeff’s expressing his feelings more, Dr. Donna wonders if he and Gage are having any fun lately? Uh…the answer would be NO. “I mean, I’m having fun,” snickers Jeff, who knows poor Gage is about to have a full throttle aneurysm back home.

Before heading to Chico, Jeff, Megan Weaver, and Vanina head down to San Diego to see Jeff’s long-time perpetually confused client, Krista. After going through a traumatic divorce, Krista wanted her entire house remodeled. Now she wants to sell it, so the remodel has to come to a quick close. Jeff and Gage plan to fly up to Sacramento two days before the due date, then wait for the call from there. In the mean time, Jeff’s working on design decisions down to the wire – as Krista pets her dog and lounges by the pool, incidentally.

Back home, Zoila Chavez in feeding animals and taking immunization advice from Gage. Though she side-eyes his demands that she get vaccinated for whooping cough, she’ll play along. She’s gonna be the grandmama in charge once that baby comes home, after all.

After returning from San Diego, Jeff shows Betty, the night nurse, around the nursery. She’s blown away by its beauty, of course, probably knowing it will be trashed within approximately three days of Monroe’s arrival. She also flatly informs Jeff and Gage that they have definitely bought TOO MUCH SH*T. Basically, the baby needs clothes, diapers, and bottles. But the Babies-R-Us situation they’ve got set up in the guest house will be great for future registries! Gage seems deflated when Betty schools him. He read the books, people! But he doesn’t know anything about the reality of bringing a baby home.

Jenni’s infection has been clearing up, so she’ll still be joining Jeff and Gage in the birthing room, as will Jeff’s dad and stepmother. Someone who I imagine is banned from ALL birthing rooms everywhere is Chaz Dean, who Jeff, Jenni, and Gage visit to discuss the eternal project known as the bungalows. Nuria, Chaz’s business manager (and Jeff’s nemesis), is on hand to help Chaz needle Jeff about how he’s too hard on his employees. Case in point: Vanina is leaving just at the time they need her most.

At another project stop in Glendale, Jeff talks to his client, Stephanie, about her moving soon. Though he warned Stephanie not to be too specific in her design choices (in case of resale), she didn’t listen. And now she’s selling, just like he knew she would.

In the car afterward, Jeff wonders if they should just demand that their surrogate, Alexandra, be induced? He can’t handle not being in control of this birth situation! Neither can Gage, who has basically taken up stalking as his second job. He texts Alexandra morning, noon, and night. She is probably ready to freaking induce by now too! But in actuality, Alexandra has not decided to be induced, as it poses a risk. Jeff suggests a 5-mile hike instead. But Jenni reminds him that he can’t tell the woman carrying his unborn child what to do. She’s not a damn contractor! He’s definitely not okay with this.

Jeff is also not okay with Vanina leaving the business, so he takes her out to lunch to make one final play to keep her. He admits that it’s been a really rough year, and he totally understands why she’s ready to go. But he values her, and actually tells her the enormous respect her has for her, not to mention how much she’s helped his business. What will it take for her to stay? Vanina isn’t sure. But Jeff wants to fight for her, joking that “it’s like the Firm, you can never leave.”

Even though she’s considered staying, Vanina says leaving isn’t just about being unhappy. She wants to branch out on her own, and she knows she’ll never make that big move if she’s got Jeff’s paychecks coming in. Knowing that Vanina is definitely ready to strike out on her own, Jeff offers her an uncharacteristically humble apology for all of the times he’s taken frustrations out on her or unfairly blamed her for something. She’s been a fantastic employee, and he wishes her the best. Plus, he’ll miss her.

Now, it’s baby time! On the due date, Jeff, Gage, and Jenni pick up Jeff’s dad and stepmom, then head to a hotel in Sacramento. It’s a waiting game until Alexandra goes into labor…which lasts two full days past the baby’s due date. Once Gage gets a text about Alexandra losing her mucus plug (just what everyone wants to hear at lunch!), the gang heads out to Chico to wait. They visit the OB/GYN first, where there’s more frustrating news: It could be up to a week before this baby comes. Because as everyone who’s ever had a baby knows, there is NO telling when labor will happen. Jeff and Gage’s heads practically explode all over the blue drywall when they hear this, however.

“All adventures have to come to an end,” says Jeff in the hotel later. “I’m suggesting we end this as soon as possible.” But “as soon as possible” means three days later, which is when Alexandra agrees it’s time to induce. While she labors, Jeff and crew wait…and wait…and wait. They’re at the end of a journey that started back in 2014, when he and Gage first consulted a specialist about having a child. And they won’t have to wait much longer – because the moment is finally upon them!

In scrubs, Jeff, Gage, and Jenni (who’s even holding Alexandra’s leg!) bear witness to the two most shocking sights they’ve ever seen: 1) a vagina, and 2) their beautiful newborn daughter entering the world. And all joking about vaginas aside, it really is a tender, powerful moment. The instant Jeff and Gage see their baby, then hold her for the first time afterward, is just about the most endearing thing I’ve seen on any reality TV show – ever. Jeff is crying, the baby is crying, I’m crying – it’s just too much!

“Thank you,” Gage whispers to Alexandra as he rocks Monroe in his arms. “You’re welcome,” she says, just before Jeff takes Monroe in his arms to look at the new little life that will change his forever.

TELL US: DID YOU BAWL YOUR HEAD OFF LAST NIGHT, OR WAS I THE ONLY ONE? ARE YOU SURPRISED VANINA LEFT?

Big Brother 19-8/31/17- Recap: Matt Creates Chaos Before His Exit

No one could ever accuse the Big Brother 19 cast for being the most congenial over the last 20 seasons. These houseguests have the bad habit of taking game strategy and moves very personal, and in the game of Big Brother that can spell d-i-s-a-s-t-e-r.  After Jason Dent drew a line in the sand, chaos broke out amongst the Big Brother 19 houseguests, and the fighting was not very becoming for any of them.

Big Brother 19 Matt Clines

We pick up after Jason announced to the houseguests that he was not going to use the Power of Veto to save Matt Clines or Raven Walton from eviction this week. They were both under the impression that Jason would use the POV to take Raven off the block, and he would replace her with Kevin Schlehuber. Jason decided his relationship with Kevin was more important, and consequently he upset everyone in the house, except Kevin. This made Jason  become public enemy number one in the Big Brother 19 house.

Matt and Raven (Maven) exploded about Jason’s decision to not use the POV this week. While they were venting about his lying and cowardly ways, Jason hide in the storage room to avoid confrontation. This did not get missed by Matt, who commented that at least Cody Nickson was man enough to face his game decisions.  Matt, Raven, and Jason exchanged heated words, and Jason finally admitted he was responsible for one of the rogue votes against Matt last week for eviction. Jason did not throw Alex Ow under the bus for her rogue vote, and Alex lied through her teeth when asked if she was the second rogue vote.

Once things settled inside the Big Brother house, Kevin made sure to buddy up to Matt out in the backyard. Kevin wanted to make sure that Matt knew he was not responsible for the other rogue vote last week…enough to swear on the life of all of his children. This immediately drew suspicion from the other houseguests. Paul Abrahamian went outside to spy on their conversation. The houseguests finally realized that every time someone is about to be evicted, Kevin becomes their best friend. They discovered his ploy to garner jury votes from those on their way out the door.

Big Brother 19 Matt Clines

Back in the kitchen, a comment from Christmas Abbott sent Kevin and Josh Martinez into a verbal frenzy against each other. Josh tried to get Kevin to swear on his children’s lives that he did not win the $25,000 during the first week of the game. Instead of doing so, Kevin threw the question back onto Josh accusing him of winning the money.  Once Kevin wouldn’t swear on his kids lives about the money, they knew he was lying. Christmas and Josh also concluded that this meant Kevin was telling the truth about the rogue vote, and by process of elimination, Alex was responsible for casting the second rogue vote to evict Matt.

Production did a small piece about the jury house. The houseguests include Cody, Elena Davies, and Mark Jansen.  Elena was sad to see Mark eliminated from the game, but she was happy to see him again. Although she had been coy in the past about Mark, Elena admitted that she had missed him during the last week.

Big Brother 19 Mark Jansen

Time for the live eviction. Julie Chen advised us about Matt’s additional penalty vote for ignoring the Have-Not rules this week.  Matt intentionally planned to seek the penalty vote to help to ensure that Raven would be saved from eviction this week.

By a vote of 6-0, Matt was evicted from the Big Brother 19 house.  He graciously accepted his eviction, and he said his goodbyes to all the houseguests. Once Matt joined Julie outside the house, her first question to Matt was why he gave up $500,000 for someone he just met 72 days ago.

Matt responded like he was smitten with Raven and in puppy love.  His response was almost too much to handle about how wonderful Raven is and how she’s such a wonderful person…blah, blah, blah.  Matt also exclaimed that he feels as though Raven can win the whole Big Brother 19 game…yeah, he said that!

Big Brother 19 Matt Clines

At the time for the Head of Household competition, rain delayed the competition in the backyard. Julie told the houseguests that this was the first time in Big Brother history that rain had delayed a HOH comp.
