Survivor Legend Parvati Shallow ‘Dug Into Most Intimate Parts of My Life’ for New Memoir

Parvati Shallow is truly reality TV royalty. She started in Survivor and won Season 16. Then she came in second place during Heroes vs. Villains. Recently. Parvati appeared in Season 2 of The Traitors. She became a Traitor after Dan Gheesling and Phaedra Parks picked her to complete their murderous trio.

Parvati is well-known for creating two buzzy reality TV moments. During Survivor: Heroes vs Villains, Parvati’s two idol shocker saved two members of her Villain tribe. Then, during the second season of The Traitors, Parvati pulled off a murder in front of everyone. She subtly convinced poor Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu to drink from a poisoned goblet.

Now, Parvarti is opening up like never before in her new memoir, Nice Girls Don’t Win: How I Burned It All Down. The book, published by The Dial Press, will be available next summer. Parvati dealt with some tough situations after winning Survivor at 25 years old. Her divorce from fellow Survivor player John Fincher was difficult to navigate, as was the death of her brother. The memoir’s synopsis reads, “As harrowing as it is healing, Shallow’s story is a testament to the profound lessons that can be found in radical self-acceptance and self-love.”

Parvati told PEOPLE, “When I entered the world of reality TV competition at 23 years old, I released control over my own story and I lost myself in the noise for a long time. Writing this book in the thick of a difficult divorce helped me reclaim my power by telling my story, my way,” she explained.

“I dug into the deepest, most intimate parts of my life,” Parvati stated, “and faced some hard truths to help myself heal from the pain of my past. I hope my story supports readers who are looking to take leaps of faith, bet on themselves, and make tough choices to create the lives their hearts and souls long for.”

Meanwhile, Parvati is returning for Season 3 of The Traitors along with former player Kate Chastain. What will this duo be up to? Plus, she is competing on Season 2 of Deal or No Deal Island. I think Parvati will be a formidable opponent on the Banker’s island.

Season 2 of Deal or No Deal Island will debut on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC with a special two-hour premiere. 

Plus, Season 3 of The Traitors is streaming on Peacock on January 9, 2025.

Heidi Klum showcased her take on festive dressing for Christmas 2024. The model recently took to her Instagram to post a carousel of fun and sultry photos from the night of the celebration. She opted for a sensuous black outfit with lace detailing, which she paired with probably the most comfy boots. Klum seemed to channel the radiance of a winter star in the subtly gothic look while posing in front of a cozy fireplace.

Heidi Klum nailed a stunning lacey look while celebrating Christmas this year. In the caption of the Instagram post, the “America’s Got Talent” judge playfully wrote, “Santa …Are you coming down my chimney tonight.” In the photos, she donned a black mini dress that featured full sleeves with delicate black lace details. Her festive outfit also displayed a pair of matching sheer lace stockings. 

The holiday fit flaunted Klum’s alluring figure. Another big highlight of her look was the shoes. She chose to rock a pair of massive furry Ugg boots in black, amping up the playfulness and festive nature of her look. As for makeup, Klum went for a defined and dark eye look and a nude lip. She kept her blonde hair loose and natural. 

The first photograph in the carousel showed Klum standing on a slope of a fireplace with one leg up in the air while trying to embrace the chimney above the fireplace. The second photo gave fans a closer back view of the model’s outfit. Meanwhile, the third one saw her giving a fun pose in front of the fireplace with a bright smile on her face. 

Previously, Heidi Klum shared several intriguing photos and videos from her Christmas 2024 special trip to the snow-covered Aspen. She appeared to be having a great time in the snow while wearing a Santa-coded outfit.

Olivia Munn and John Mulaney’s house has been quite a “mess” this Christmas due to their two adorable kids. The couple expanded their sweet little family earlier this September after welcoming a daughter, Méi June Mulaney, via surrogate. They have since shared multiple updates about the many firsts with their baby girl, including a wholesome Thanksgiving gathering and a cozy fall season. More recently, Munn posted the most relatable Christmas photos as a mom of two, and these heart-melting snaps are as candid as they can get.

In these relatable and realistic snaps, Olivia Munn shared what her and John Mulaney’s Christmas looked like with not one but two kids in the house. Munn offered brief glimpses into their holiday celebrations — the first one as a family of four — in a few heartwarming photos on December 25. Moreover, the caption was as truthful as it could get. She wrote, “The house is a mess,” clearly referring to the disarranged living room as seen in the stills.

In the first slide, the actor sat on the couch in the cozy setting, holding their daughter, Méi. Meanwhile, the girl looked at the camera as her mum kissed her on the cheek. The Christmas tree sparkled in the background with an unorganized coffee table filled with toys, candles, and other things. In the second slide, Mulaney shoulder held their daughter and gently kissed her on the head.

Olivia Munn also shared a charming photo of Malcolm and his chaotic Christmas charades. The boy wore the coziest outfit as he sat amid the mess and stared at a snow globe. Munn then wrote in the caption, “Malcolm got safety glasses personally from the penguins of Madagascar,” mentioning the cool glasses he donned in the picture. Additionally, she revealed that their daughter turned “100 days old today.”

In the clip, she said, “The house is a mess,” attributing it to Christmas being a total “success.” On top of that, she noted in the caption that all her wishes have finally come true. This may have been one of the lesser glam Christmas outfits, but Dua Lipa knew exactly how to spice it up in these sultry photos. In a snap she posted on her Instagram Stories, she wore a somewhat basic all-white outfit with certain racy elements that didn’t go unnoticed. Lipa donned a ribbed, full-sleeved top, styling it to flaunt a deep plunge by slightly bending forward. She paired the basic tee with teeny tiny shorts while both pieces comprised a fuzzy hemline, adding more coziness to the appearance.

For more Christmassy additions, the singer topped off the holiday outfit with a red and white Santa hat to rightly elevate the festive mood. Moreover, she wore essential jewelry pieces such as silver hoops and a stunning cross pendant. As for the makeup, Lipa’s look mainly comprised neutral colors, including a pink-ish matte lipstick and some blush as she confidently donned an open hairdo to celebrate with loved ones. Her sister, Rina Lipa, also shared a photo from their celebrations in which she gleefully smiled with her eyes closed all the while holding a glass.
