Lala has come a long way since her early days on Vanderpump Rules, when no one would talk to her except DJ James Kennedy. She managed to win over most of the cast, befriend all of the girls, and was even a bridesmaid in Brittany Cartwright’s wedding. Along the way she got engaged to her movie producer boyfriend, Randall Emmett, and is about to be married to the love of her life. Everything should be great in Lalaland.
But this year, the Utah gangster has definitely gotten more comfortable on the show. One might say too comfortable. She seems angry and annoyed most of the time. She has turned her back on James. Lala has attacked poor, sweet Raquel Leviss multiple times. And she spent her free time in the off season engaging in social media battles with 50 cent. Now she has issues with Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. Could it be that Lala has now become the mean girl she once claimed to stand against?
In a recent interview with People, Lala explained her issues with Tom and Ariana, as only Lala can. Lala , “You know, I think Tom and Ariana are, like, really great people. You know, they were there for me when I was struggling, but that is just their M.O. They seem to only appear for you when you’re really, really struggling and I need a friend whether I am struggling or thriving.”
Tom and Ariana do seem to be beginning to show a pattern of becoming friends with the outcast. They like to show everyone else how open minded and inclusive they are. But they were welcoming to Lala before any of the other cast wanted anything to do with her, so it is surprising that she seems so ungrateful towards them now. The point is, they were there for her when she was struggling. Shouldn’t she be at least a little appreciative of them for offering their friendship when no one else would?
Lala clearly does not see it that way and does not think she owes them a thing. She seems to believe they try to get close to whoever is the hot mess at the moment. Case in point: Kristen. Lala explained, “I mean, like, I just don’t connect. And how crazy is it that now they’re like Captain Save Kristen? Like, it’s like, the primo, how convenient! She’s struggling and there you are, ready to be her best friends!”
That is kind of strange. Kristen is Tom’s ex-girlfriend who cheated on him with his best friend, and Tom cheated on Kristen with Ariana while they were still together (allegedly). Tom and Ariana hated Kristen. Even if they manage to be cordial now, for all of them to be friends now is a bit much. But that does not really have anything to do with Lala? If Tom and Ariana want to be there for people who are struggling, that should be a positive quality to have in a friend, right?
The root of the issue might run a bit deeper. Lala says she took offense to comments that Ariana made about the death of Lala’s father on the Vanderpump Rules reunion last year. Lala explained, “Like last year, even at the reunion, talking about the death of my dad and Ariana saying, ‘You need to toughen the f*** up.’ And she was like, well, I was more talking about me and what I went through. I’m like, how is the death of my dad coming back to you?Just say sorry. Just say f***ing sorry.”
We all know Lala is heartbroken over the loss of her father and gets defensive over anyone having an opinion on her grief. It is somewhat understandable. Clearly, Ariana was trying to be a friend and help her to move on. However, Lala did not see it that way.
Lala summed it up saying, “It’s just, they’re great people, they are just not for me. But that’s fine. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea and they’re not my cup of tea. So it is what it is.”
I guess Lala can afford to pick and choose who is her “cup of tea” now that she is no longer on the outside. It does seem like she is picking on people around her for no reason. It is not a good look. Is this the real Lala?
She might want to look back at Stassi Schroeder’s fall from grace after Season 2. Stassi thought she was better than everyone and did not need them as friends. She eventually had to come groveling back. You never want to burn your bridges with anyone in this group. Lala should be grateful to have people in her life who care about her. And she might want to think about drinking that cup of tea with a big ole slice of humble pie.

The Real Housewives of New York City cast Hamptons trip continues tonight. Last week’s episode ended with Luann de Lesseps leaving Ramona Singer’s house with a long text message goodbye, explaining her dissatisfaction with her lodging in the basement, aka a “the lower level.”
This week, Ramona is doing what she can to make amends with the (self-proclaimed) queen of cabaret by laying on the compliments. And with a little bit of tennis, just like the old school Real Housewives of New York episodes.
Aside from getting all that love from Ramona, Luann hits it off with the dog groomer who comes to the house. Will this be the pirate 2.0? I sure hope.
The cast gets wild with a game of prosecco pong in Ramona’s backyard, which is exactly what it sounds like. It’s beer pong, but with prosecco. Leah McSweeney officially falls off the wagon. This results in a skinny dipping session with Tinsley Mortimer and Sonja Morgan, who somehow gets a hold of a vibrator. And this vibrator, somehow ends up in a plate of chicken piccata. And Ramona’s house gets completely trashed, frat party style. If only they had some pledges in the cast.

One of the few good things to help get through this quarantine has been the Bravo programming. The network has blessed us with some throwback marathons. We’ve had new episodes of Real Housewives of New York, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shahs of Sunset, Vanderpump Rules, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and more. Even Watch What Happens Live has started filming episodes via webcam to adjust to life during the coronavirus pandemic.
Every day, I look forward to that night’s new Bravo show, because, let’s face it, I have nowhere to go. The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 premiere is right around the corner. Oh, wait. It was right around the corner. Unfortunately, plans have changed.
People has reported that the May 3 premiere has been pushed back to sometime this summer, with no replacement date announced. Why? To “ensure Bravo has a steady flow of new programming on Sunday nights throughout the summer. Season 2 of Married to Medicine Los Angeles, also set to premiere May 3, will remain on the schedule as planned.” Couldn’t we make a trade!? RHOP > Married to Medicine LA. Come on, Bravo. Give the people what they need during these times.
In an Instagram post, Ashley Darby wrote, “#RHOP fans: due to these unprecedented times, we have to push the new season until the summer. However, when we say it will be worth the wait, we MEAN IT! Thank you for your continued love and support. Stay healthy and stay safe! We’ll be in touch with a new date ASAP.”
Monique Samuels shared a photo of herself giving a shady look during her confessional interview with the caption “The look you give when you find out Season 5 will NOT premiere on May 3rd…. See y’all later this summer .”

After watching a explosive season of Married At First Sight, we finally have the update we have all been waiting for. This season we watched the highs and lows of five couples on a journey to find love. I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t wait to see what happened after the cameras stopped rolling. On decision day, only two couples decided to remain married. It’s been five months since the cameras have left. It’s time to find out has anything changed. Get your drinks ready because there are sex, lies and arrests to discuss at this shocking reunion. This reunion was even more entertaining than the entire season.
After decision day, the five couples who got married at first sight finally reunite. Viewers get to look back on the good times and the hard times throughout the season with the participants. We will also get additional insight on the ups and downs of their marriages find out whether they are still married. Let’s get straight into the recap!
When we last saw Derek Sherman and Katie Conrad they were deciding to stay married on decision day, much to the dismay of many viewers. Katie, a.k.a. the dream crusher was on the fence, but ultimately decided that she wanted to work on things with her husband. Most thought, Derek was too good to be with a woman who belittled him the entire season to anyone who would listen. Fast forward to today, they acknowledge once the cameras left they didn’t have much time for one another. Katie felt Derek went back to living his single lifestyle, by staying out late and not keeping her up to date on his schedule. When she told him that he was no longer trying to win her, Derek attempted to make positive changes in their relationship. Katie on the other hand,says that she initiated sex and difficult conversations as a way to overcome their obstacles. Sounds to me like she just remained the same nagging b!%@#, we saw all season.
Thankfully, the two are no longer married. Yesssssssssssssss! Derek shares that Katie was so unhappy that they went from trying to be friends to moving to different bedrooms until they ultimately moved out of their shared apartment. When the host asked if Derek was heartbroken, he states “Katie made it really easy not to fall in love with her.” He also reveals that she cheated on him with the ex that she talked about constantly. In fact, he was told by cast members and other people that Katie also slept with him a few days after their honeymoon. Katie then begins insulting Derek reminding him they had no chemistry, which is ultimately what led to her decision to cheat and divorce. Chile, please! I wonder when Derek will realize the only reason his wife said yes on decision day was for his health insurance. LOL! Katie, you deserve all the losers you continue to waste your time with. She had a chance with a nice guy and totally wasted her opportunity at a genuine relationship. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Later, Katie is infuriated when she is told that cast members revealed that she slept with her ex at the honeymoon. Derek decides to protect the identity of those who told him and isn’t upset when none of them come forward when asked. He also reveals that Katie asked him to dinner a week before the reunion and threatened him about revealing information about her affair. Nonetheless, I hope her commitment phobic ex was worth sacrificing a relationship with a good guy. Sadly, I believe she knows that she made a huge mistake and that is why she is so mad. In another shocking twist, we learn Katie and Zach went on a date. Knowing how badly she looks, Katie quickly adds she went out with him before how she saw how he treated Mindy and she wouldn’t want someone like that. WTF! Katie is crazy and just a horrible human being. She and Zach seem perfect for one another.
One of the more controversial couples of the season was Meka Jones and Michael Watson. It’s no secret that these two had struggles throughout their entire marriage due to his compulsive lying. I don’t know who Michael thought he was fooling. His wife clearly isn’t stupid. Meka was a MATH major in college and an inch high private eye, when it came to him. Did he really believe she couldn’t see through his ridiculous fairy tales? Even the host, Kevin Frazier calls him out about lying about being a yoga instructor. LMAO! Kevin said “You don’t look like any yoga instructor, I have ever seen. In fact you looked like a beginner.” I almost spit out my wine, I was laughing so hard. Michael still refused to admit the truth, despite Meka sharing she called every studio and they all said he was NOT an instructor.
Michael also found it hard to admit to hurting Meka with all of his crazy antics. He literally had to be shamed into feeling bad enough to apologize. Amazingly, Meka even apologizes for being too harsh at times. She regrets some of her behavior and wishes she could have been softer at times. Although I agree that Meka did seem very rigid, I have to admit Michael probably would have driven me to my limit. His incessant lying about unnecessary things combined with insulting my intelligence daily would have driven me to drink or berate him too. I don’t know what woman in her right mind would deal with that type of behavior.
The one redeeming couple of season, Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd sit down to discuss the season. Although they had a less exciting storyline, most viewers appreciated seeing a normal budding love story. Being the skeptic that I am, there were glimpses of troubled waters ever so often. Namely Jessica having issues with Austin’s work schedule and him not saying I love you for quite some time. Currently, the couple is still happily married and looking forward to getting a dog and a house in the near future. They also hope to have children one day when they are ready. Austin re-proposes to Jessica in a sweet gesture. This update comes as no surprise to anyone. I knew these two would be just fine in the end.
Next on the hot seat are Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice. Let me chug my wine in order to be able to listen to this idiot, Zach talk in circles about nothing. I loved when Kevin calls him out about talking until nobody knows what he is talking about. The producers shade Zach by playing a montage of footage of him dancing around the subject, in his responses. Mindy shares that she has questioned whether her ex-husband was only on the show for publicity. After some direct prodding, Zach finally apologizes for his behavior. Sorry, but too little too late, especially when the host had to force him to apologize for his disgusting behavior. I love that Mindy seems so much more confident and poised after getting rid of hair for brains, Zach.
Mindy’s friend, Shannie makes a guest appearance to support her during the discussion about their ex friend Lindsay’s betrayal. Shannie reveals that she has proof Zach planned to visit Lindsay after the show and that he thought she was a better match for him. Mindy admits that she tried to give Lindsay an opportunity for her to apologize, but things didn’t work out. Since the show, they haven’t revived their friendship and it has affected their entire friend group. Zach has since contacted Lindsey, but claims it was a text meant for a client with the same name. Insert side eye emoji. Mindy, leave Zach and Lindsay in the past, neither of them deserve you in their life.
Brandon Reid and Taylor Dunklin probably had one of the most tumultuous relationships of the season. They encountered everything from break ups, verbal altercations and fights with production on several occasions. At first, Brandon seemed to be the clear aggressor, but it quickly became apparent that Taylor wasn’t innocent either. After decision day, there was an incident at a bar where Brandon accuses Taylor of showing up where he was working with another man to start an argument and then pushing him. Taylor claims Brandon approached her friend and followed them when she attempted to leave. Both parties ended up getting arrested because it was unclear who was at fault. Both Brandon and Taylor both filed and were granted protective orders from each other. I have to admit, I am not buying Taylor’s story. I believe she brought the other guy to Brandon’s job in order to try to make him jealous. Her story just seemed like she was leaving out details. Let’s not forget how she cornered him in the bathroom at the retreat when he wanted to leave after cursing him out hours before. I am not surprised in the least; both of them seem extremely immature and petty. Hopefully a day in jail will serve as a wakeup call for them to leave this toxic relationship alone.
The entire cast is brought out to discuss their thoughts on the court proceedings. Everyone seemed to be genuinely concerned, but happy that they are no longer together. Michael is still friends with Brandon and thinks there is blame on both sides. He doesn’t believe Brandon was the one who initiated the altercation. Taylor was not happy that someone dared to challenge her story, but Michael didn’t take the bait and agreed to disagree. Production then plays a montage of all of Brandon’s worst moments for the cast to discuss. His only saving grace was Michael, who was the only who tried to give Brandon’s perspective, which I felt was a bit unfair. There is plenty of footage of Taylor being aggressive as well, which was not played, which is very intentional. I guess that is what happens when you piss off production!
Brandon should have appeared on video call, if only to tell his side of the story. Frustrated by the pressure, Michael storms out of the room. He got upset when Meka made negative comments on his defense of Brandon. When Kevin comes to speak with Michael, he shares he is upset that he is being put in a position to defend and speak on someone else’s marriage. In this situation, I agree with Michael. It’s not his place to be Brandon’s spokesperson and they should have not put him in that position, especially not as the resident liar of the cast. Why they needed to dedicate over 30 minutes to the cast speaking about Brandon was a clear setup agenda. If I hadn’t seen some of Taylor’s toxic behavior, I would have been fine with this situation. If you go back to my articles, I was very hard on Brandon for all of his antics, until Taylor revealed herself as well.

Everyone on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is trying waywayway too hard to make things interesting after last season. They are working hard for that money, but they need a salary reduction anyway. They’re still lying and boring!
It’s apparent that production demanded Dorit Kemsley discuss her financial woes. Dorit is still not being honest. It’s also apparent that they put the smackdown on Erika Jayne Snore-ardi and told her to show more range than one of Aaron Phyper‘s weird oxygenic bioderminator ozzzzzcilation machines. Sutton Stracke is so much more interesting! And they hate her for it.
The other problem is the constant strategic alliances. These women are coming for the weakest links: pregnant Teddi Mellencamp and ill, clueless Denise Richards. They probably figured Denise has been through it all dealing with Charlie Sheen so what’s the difference.
However Denise can come right back at them for being dishonest about their own marriages! Why is she held to a different standard? Erika can pretend her relationship to Tom Girardi is more than a creepy uncle holding his niece too close, and Dorit can flap her hands around in their fake Chanel gloves while insisting PK isn’t bankrupt, but we know.
Last year no one was allowed to question Dorit and insisted she didn’t have to defend herself. Only Lisa Vanderpump did. Denise is this season’s LVP. These women have a starving wolf pack mentality. Until the cast gets a serious shake-up and Kyle Richards is given a worthy nemesis every season will go the same way. My money is on Garcelle Beauvais being that nemesis; grabbing these women by the Louboutins, turning them upside down, and shaking them out. The only thing that will fall out of Dorit’s pockets are the tags she’s gonna reattach to clothes she’s returning after wearing them.
So, are you loving Garcelle, or what?! She goes to breakfast with Erika, and Erika is hoping to win an Emmy for AI: Best Robot Impersonating Human category. Garcelle shares that her eldest son, who is 28, is going to have a baby which will make her a grandmother. Grandparents are the are the age of Erika’s husband though!
Then Garcelle straight-up asks Erika what geriatric sex is like. Erika insists it’s fine, but it’s not hot sex. It’s … a cool compress after a musty day. Aka, she sleeps through it. Erika changes the subject to setting Garcelle up with a billionaire. Garcelle isn’t buying any of this BS though. She’s a real actress – unlike what Erika thinks she is.
Garcelle goes to tour her new house with pal Ali Landry. When Garcelle learned her husband and father of her twins, Mike Nilon, had been having an affair for 5 years she immediately fired off an email to his friends, family members and associates comparing him to Tiger Woods and Jesse James, then filed for divorce. It’s taken Garcelle nearly as long as she was married to get over the infidelity, and she still tears up when discussing the betrayal. Now she’s finally ready to start over. Which means a new house and dating. Garcelle wants a man who understands that she’s a mom first and will accept her sons into his life. Which is what Erika claims was Tom’s appeal. Except unlike Erika, I don’t think Garcelle needs that men to financially support her too…
Erika is pretending to be more open in order to more easily hide her reality. What is going on with Tom’s alleged affair and lawsuits?!
There is this rather strange scene when Erika barges into her home to announce that she’s been cast on Broadway as Roxy Hart. Oh for the love! This is where Broadway puts D-listers and wannabes to sell tickets. Erika ‘sobs’ with glee on Tom’s shoulder because it’s his emotional support that counts, not that he shells out $40k per month to live with a loop track of Mikey yelling “YAS!!!” as he whips mannequins with blonde ponytails. That’s probably the most exciting sex Erika has seen in decades.
Ugh – she bores me.

Speaking of boring, Lisa Rinna meets Teddi for a hike. Teddi is a walking coma and Lisa using a daughter’s anxiety as a storyline for the 3rd season in a row is also a coma. How is Lipsa, Hollywood’s penultimate hustler, the mother of two girls who can’t even handle one semester of college? I don’t get it. Furthermore I don’t care. I’m sorry Amelia feels forced to turn to Instagram for therapy, but it’s just… Well, she’s not actually a cast member on this show. Additionally we’ve heard enough of the ‘woe is me’ motherhood travails from Lipsa. What is really going on in Lipsa’s life? Let’s talk about the husband already. Paging Kim Richards!!
Of course Teddi relates to Amelia’s anxiety over being the daughter of celebrities and feeling like she has to over-achieve to prove she’s successful on her own merit. What are these people ‘achieving,’ again? Would Teddi really be on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills if it weren’t for her last name? Nope. We’re not All In, and it turns out neither are her friends!
Teddi thinks it would be super fun to invite everyone to her ‘All In’ coaching retreat. ‘All In’ is basically a Multi-Level Marketing scheme where Teddi ‘trains’ other accountability coaches to harass people via text about working out every day and living off soup broth. Seriously. It’s super sketch and secretive. Plus it costs a fortune to be included in this hierarchy of starvation and muscle tonnage.
Teddi sends a very vague text (yay for more text drama) inviting all the women, but says they shouldn’t feel obligated. However since they’re all dyyyyyyyyyyying to know what an accountability coach actually does, she’s sure they’ll pounce on this once in a lifetime opportunity to invest in their future. Garcelle is so relieved believing she doesn’t actually have to attend…
Meanwhile Kyle is in NY pretending to launch a fashion business. Kyle hopes to get the Kult of Kaftans into stores which is why she meets Sutton for cocktails. Sutton is there buying for the boutique she’s opening in West Hollywood and proclaims that Kyle’s collection can be summed up as “Yacht Rock.” Even though neither of them know what that is, it’s a perfectly appropriate dig and description for I Nightmare Of Kyle… the Kollection.
I hope Sutton actually does know what Yacht Rock is and was being snide by playing dumb to confuse Kyle about whether or not it’s a compliment. Kyle argues that people who don’t own yachts can still wear her kaftans, but loves the idea of being associated with something wealthy so she agrees to a trunk show at Sutton’s store. Yacht Rock is a cosplay on the 70’s luxlesiure looks. Lots of caftans. Lots of polyester. Think the millionaire and his wife on Gilligan’s Island. So you know, so perfectly Kyletastrophe.
Lord, Sutton is a hoot. Erika and Dorit just despise her which is even more of a hoot. They’re so jealous it’s tangible. Sutton is using her hefty divorce settlement to live her best life and oh, man is she thrilled to be divorced! She can be her own person, do her own thing, and not have to defend or make excuses for nobody from nowhere. Then there is Dorit, sitting up there in a zebra top, which is only a few skewed stripes away from a prison stripe, claiming she has no idea what’s really going on with PK’s financial issues, but he can’t possibly have conned anyone! That’s just FAKE NEWS.
Dorit and PK have a brand new home that they allegedly bought. Just like they allegedly owned their old house, right? The house is solely in Dorit’s name, which she insists is standard practice. Not cause PK is on the hook from creditors in the US and UK. One of whom is reportedly his ex-wife after PK attempted to get out of child support and alimony by crying poor. Dorit is an asshole, and I LOVE that production is finally hanging her out to dry — in her unfinished closet of all places. These two are grifters, no two ways about it.
Finally everyone meets up at Sutton’s store opening. Lipsa and Teddi ride together and Lipsa tries to provoke Teddi about the All In invitation. I honestly don’t even get this. They are gaslighting Teddi and trying to make her freak out. Everyone knows that despite what Teddi says she’ll be super hurt if they ditch her retreat, thus causing a huge fracas when she inevitably melts down about how they didn’t support her.
Lipsa informs Teddi that she needs to be clear and specific about what she expects from her friends or she’s not allowed to be annoyed if people decline. Meaning admit that will hold them accountable for not attending!
Lipsa admits that she actually joked that her crazy travel/work schedule means she can’t go. Teddi pretends she’s not bothered by this and insists she just wants them to be supportive if they come. By the time they get to Sutton’s Teddi’s mind is reeling. She’s suddenly imagining all the women making fun of her behind her back. Of them doing TikTok parodies of her on the elliptical and sending it to each other to mock accountability. Tedontability!
Actually Erika and Dorit are hyper-focused on Sutton. Did I miss where the opportunity to hate her came from? Or are they just so stank-faced and bitter because their lives aren’t hers? Erika, a woman who expends 90% of her words bragging about clothes and wearing plastic garbage to define her ethos, snarks that Sutton is being elitist by mentioning that her clothes are couture. Now Erika, dahling, you don’t like Sutton because she has designers making her couture. Also she has the right southern accent: gentile and drawling. Not guttural, and raspy. Erika even snipes that she doesn’t want the gift bags Sutton brings them and dismisses it as “crap.” This is the true Erika. She was trying to pretend to be Miss Girls-Girl, but the real Erika is a jealous, insecure, narcissist with an inferiority complex as big as her fake hair.

It’s obvious why Dorit doesn’t care for Sutton. Dorit would give both her inflated tits and PK’s inflated head to own couture or a boutique in West Hollywood where the mayor gives a welcoming speech. Sutton doesn’t even know who the mayor is, nor does she care – she interrupts to interrogate him about why WeHo parking is so strict. No one is amused but Lipsa. And me. I’m VERY amused!
Then it’s all about Teddi again. Teddi and Kyle are so self-absorbed and insufferable! Now Teddi doesn’t give a shit if they come to the All In retreat or not. Which prompts Sutton to ask the obvious question: why waste her time then? She is relieved that this is suddenly optional. WRONG. Sutton doesn’t know Teddi well enough to realize that Teddi, like Kyle, is a bottomless hole of attention-needing.

Denise missed everything due to quadruple hernia surgery and being on the good drugs. Aaron is waiting on her hand and foot, which means hooking her up to strange machines that possibly altered her brain?
Denise is also stressed because Charlie is taking her to court to get child support dismissed entirely. Denise doesn’t want to fight him because she doesn’t want to badmouth her children’s father and vice versa, because of her girls. Denise has seen (through Charlie’s lady friends) what happens to girls who have bad relationships with their fathers and wants to protect the love they have for Charlie. Charlie is a terribly flawed person, but he’s still their dad.
Unfortunately for Denise her so-called friends and co-stars don’t care about protecting her children. They only care about themselves. It’s a bitch eat bitch world in Beverly Hills, unless you’re at Vanderpump Pets!
