Here’s The Reality TV I’m Watching This Week
We’re back for another installment of What I’m Watching This Week. Last week, Bravo was leaning hard into their recent overuse of cliffhangers and “To Be Continued” teasers. Do we owe this new pattern to binge-watch culture? I do love a good rewatch myself. If you’re all caught up on Bravo and reality TV right now, join me for what I’m watching this week!
Sunday – Real Housewives of Potomac
Okay– so it wasn’t an official cliffhanger, but we’ve had to wait an entire week to finally see the first reunion episode for Season 7 of Real Housewives of Potomac. Somehow production managed to squeeze out three reunion episodes for us. I hope the RHOP men came prepared. We can look forward to Ashley Darby giving the details on her prenup with that weird giggly elderly man. We’ll also have to relive another attack on Chris Bassett followed by more Peter Thomas content. I’m mostly here for Karen Huger’s attack on Juan Dixon. Apparently, she has receipts for us!
Watch on Bravo Sunday at 8 PM ET.
Monday – Below Deck
What is going to happen with Alissa Humber this week on Below Deck? When we left off, Alissa was called to the bridge by Captain Sandy Yawn with Ross McHarg present as a witness. That’s never a good sign. Alissa had given Sandy some serious attitude at the end of last week’s episode, referring to her captain by first name only. And this was immediately following a lesson on the hierarchy! The horror! We’re still waiting to learn who the mystery blonde yachtie from the mid-season trailer is here to replace. Seems like we’re getting closer to the answer.
Watch on Bravo Monday at 8 PM ET.

Monday – Summer House
Season 7 of Summer House is almost unrecognizable. For one thing, there are only three men in the house, two of whom are in long-term relationships. Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula are doing the same-old basic storyline we’ve seen over a thousand times. First comes love, then comes marriage. Third comes a season to talk about fertility, and by Season 8 we might just have a baby in a baby carriage. They’re even shilling their side hustle in nearly every scene. You could follow any rando from your graduating high school class for the exact same content, but why not join me by watching these rich east coast blondes instead?
Watch on Bravo Monday at 9 PM ET.
Thursday – Real Housewives of Miami
Yet another cliffhanger and this one left me in a serious panic. When we last left the Real Housewives of Miami ladies, Adriana De Moura was about to get her newly lifted ass handed to her compliments of Alexia Echevarria. Adriana is bothered because her foot was injured after some lighthearted roughhousing between the women in the Bahamas. Though the injury was a mistake, it’s unacceptable to Adriana. She tries to express her turmoil to Alexia by likening the situation to Frankie Rosello’s accident which left him with a life-altering traumatic brain injury. It was bad. And say what you will about Alexia the Cuban Barbie, I can’t wait to see how she takes this rage out on the group.
New episodes are released Thursday on Peacock.
Streaming – Downfall
Downfall: The Case Against Boeing is a great documentary streaming on Netflix. If you’re interested in more than just the Tom Girardi of it all, this film has you covered. It follows the rise and fall of Boeing’s adherence to safety standards in the airplane industry which eventually resulted in the Lion Air and Ethiopian Airline crashes, killing over 300 people. Though the crashes happened in 2018 and 2019, the systemic issues between engineering standards, safety procedures, and profit feel very timely.
Stream on Netflix now.
