This response came after months of public discussion about Trainor’s weight loss journey. In March, she revealed on Instagram that she started using the GLP-1 medication Mounjaro. Doctors prescribe the drug for Type 2 diabetes, but many people also use it for weight management.

At the Billboard Women in Music Awards that month, she said, “I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shout-out to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy.”
