    2. Yolanda and Erika get a spin-off show
    3. LVP and Kyle road trip spin-off

Andy Cohen Defensive Over Fan Reaction To RHOBH Reunion; Professes Love For Lisa Vanderpump! Lisa Rinna Wants To Move On!

Lisa Vanderpump & Andy Cohen

Lisa Vanderpump & Andy Cohen

Andy Cohen is finding himself in some Real Housewives shoes after being forced to answer to the viewers over how Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills became “The Munchausen Show,” which was blamed on Lisa Vanderpump

On twitter many frustrated viewers challenged Andy for allowing Brandi Glanville to make a pre-recorded video message bashing the ladies and for what they saw as him “attacking” LVP while allowing others (Yolanda) to get a pass. Andy also denies that the incessant focus on Yolanda Foster‘s ‘journey’ caused ratings to decline.

Andy insists, that despite it all, his relationship to Lisa is fine. And he was in no way attacking one of his most profitable popular Housewives!

Screen Shot 2016-05-05 at 2.41.04 PM

“I treated everyone the same,” Andy continued. “And Brandi gave her two cents because the women talked about her a lot this season.” He vindicated his decision by pointing out that Kim Richards was also given an opportunity to explain herself and that they tried to have Faye Resnick appear, but she refused. (Someone on twitter joked that since OJ Simpson was also such a storyline he should have been invited. HAHA!)

andy-faye

“Sorry to disappoint. Felt good about it. Everybody had their say,” Andy added in response to the criticism that LVP was treated unfairly. “I attacked no one actually,” he continued. “I think we watched different shows.”

I personally think it’s refreshing that LVP knows how to play the game – and she knows it’s just that: a game. Sometimes she gets hurt in the process, although I do find it intriguing that on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills friends turn on each other the fastest – even pre-Housewives friends. Yesterday, LVP lashed out at Andy, suggesting that she should have told him to “shove it” for allowing her to be thrown to the wolves all season long by a bunch of bitches.

Lisa herself responded, tweeting, “@Andy Yes it felt worse…Never experienced anything like it in my life.”

In response to all the negative feedback, Andy claims he understands. “XOOX people vent on Twitter it’s ok” He also clarified that he finds all the demands to fire certain cast members and dealing with the onslaught of social media reactions “exhausting.”

Unfortunately, some people took their fandom super far, and it got downright heated with people calling for Andy to be fired – and for once Andy actually retaliated. I think it goes without saying that Andy denied his job is jeopardy over Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills! Ha!

Screen Shot 2016-05-05 at 2.47.24 PM

“Then why do you follow me asshole,” Andy snapped at one particularly venomous “Vanderpinky” viewer.

Actually, Andy‘s ultimate defense was his claim that season 6 boasted the second highest ratings ever for Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. Evolution Media, which produces the series, boasted of the success following part 3 of the reunion.

Screen Shot 2016-05-05 at 2.51.53 PM

And with season 6 behind them, one person most certainly is ready to leave the past behind. That would be Lisa Rinna, naturally.

“It’s time 2 move on,” Lisa tweeted. “What’s done is done and cannot be undone, so don’t waste time on regrets. It’s what you do next that counts. Horoscope”

LR-tweet

Whether you agree that LVP is a manipulative wench with zero feelings, or a woman constantly persecuted, or you’re like me and basically love how she represents the glitz, glamour, and fabulosity I want to see on RHOBH while appreciating her wit, this season has most certainly become all about LVP. So I guess it’s safe to say her job also isn’t in jeopardy. Personally my only concern about RHOBH is that Yolanda will be back as a full-time Housewife. The other women I can tolerate, but I’d like to see The Manipumunchie leave, and have someone new and fabulous in her place.

Kathryn Edwards Disappointed By Erika Girardi And How Much Time Her Co-Stars Spent On Tearing Each Other Down

Kathryn Edwards

Kathryn Edwards

In her final blog of the season, newbie Kathryn Edwards continued to defend Lisa Vanderpump and shared her overall thoughts on her first season on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Kathryn found the reactions to Lisa‘s emotion to be odd, “When Lisa V shared her story about being abused by a former boyfriend years ago, she teared up and became vulnerable. It felt like a cathartic moment, and it seemed as if some of the other women didn’t think she had these types of emotions. That was strange to me for several reasons and strengthened my feelings that it is more of a cultural thing.”

CLICK CONTINUE READING FOR MORE!

“I’ve had conversations with Lisa V on several occasions where she has been very open and vulnerable and it may be assumptive to say, but I think I get her,” said Kathryn. “I understand her English demeanor whereas there’s a stoic side that keeps those feelings to a private few.”

As for Lisa Vanderpump vs. Eileen Davidson, Kathryn remained neutral, “When Eileen said that she feels as though she turned into the bitch and that she never wanted to be that, I believe her. I don’t think Eileen ever wanted to start a war with Lisa V but attempt, after attempt to get an apology and then the lack of the apology morphed into a much greater offense…it just felt like a stern browbeating. The “affair” word in the Hamptons can easily be misconstrued by both sides, and for that reason, I do believe that it was lost in translation.”

I agree that I don’t think Eileen made a conscious decision to be a raging bitch all season…because I think it just comes naturally for her. 😉

Kathryn admitted that she regrets how she handled the “sniper” and “web” comments Erika Girardi made about Lisa, but like Apology Gate, she feels it was blown way out of proportion.

“I will take full blame for my bad judgement and actions as to the way I handled the situation,” she shared. “It was a poor choice made on my part, and I own it. I wish I would have made other choices, but as they say, hindsight is 20/20, and ultimately I paid a dear price for what felt like a misdemeanor that turned into a felony. I won’t ever make that mistake again.”

Kathryn added that she wishes she would’ve shut down the conversation with Erika, but she froze, because Erika’s shadiness caught her off guard. While she admitted she could have handled the situation better, one thing Kathryn is adamant about is, “I never went to Lisa V‘s house with ‘intent.’ I’m not that girl.”

RELATED: 6 REASONS SEASON 6 OF RHOBH WAS THE WORST

“I prefer to say what I think to someone’s face, not behind their back,” she wrote in her blog. “I don’t think there is anything that can’t be talked out and resolved, even if the final decision isn’t agreeable to both parties, at least we know where we stand and it’s all on the table. There were other things Erika said that I didn’t repeat but were seen in the episode. Those are the things that hurt Lisa V‘s feelings, not the web comment.”

Kathryn pointed out that Lisa never demanded 32 million apologies (take note, Eileen) from Erika, “It’s funny … Lisa V never gave Erika a hard time about it, but it sure morphed into a big deal for me. Lisa V was inquisitive as to why Erika felt the need to warn me, but there was not any payback or punishment towards Erika for the comment.”

Kathryn said she enjoyed getting to know Erika in Dubai, but Erika’s interview comments were hurtful, “I was hurt and disappointed by the way she talked about me in her interviews. Those were very harsh, hurtful words in my opinion and I would never say them about someone I have a friendship with. I know the timing of the interviews, and it begged the question as to when they were made in relationship to our making up.”

As for Munchausen, Kathryn is just as over it as we all are, “I’m not going to get into Muchausengate, that ship sailed for me a while ago, and I really hope it never comes back. We spent so much time talking about who said what to whom and who manipulated whom into saying things. It took up a lot of time that could have been better spent.”

“I came into the group mid-way through the season and tried to understand the dynamics on my own,” said Kathryn. “I was happy to navigate the waters alone, because I prefer to observe the way people act and react and come to my own conclusions. It’s an interesting group to say the least. There are a lot of egos and a lot of personalities. Success and money only magnifies who someone is.. we don’t all have to like each other, but respect is a necessity.”

Kathryn bemoaned how much time her RHOBH co-stars spent on trying to tear each other down, “When a group of smart, beautiful and motivated women come together, it is powerful. You can do much if you unite and have a common goal or you can tear each other down. Sadly, I think too much was spent on the latter, but as Scarlett O’Hara once said, ‘After all, tomorrow is another day.’ It is never too late to fix something and do it better the next time.”

Well, I, for one, enjoyed Kathryn on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and I hope she returns next season. For what it’s worth, my “to go” list includes Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson, Erika Girardi, and Yolanda Foster Hadid, and my “stay away” list includes Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville.

Little Women: LA’s Briana Renee Released From Hospital; Fires Back At Her Father’s Accusations!

Matt-Ericson-Briana-Renee-Talking-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Matt-Ericson-Briana-Renee-Talking-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Right on the heels of Little Women: LA airing their second and final part of season four’s reunion, news is breaking all over the place about Briana Renee suddenly on the mend from her pregnancy scare last week. Briana was rushed to the hospital for pre-term labor symptoms at only 6-months pregnant, an obviously frightening situation.

The timing of Briana’s hospitalization eerily coincided with both parts of the LWLA reunion shows, and if I were a more cynical person, I’d ponder whether the entire hospitalization was a publicity stunt. In actuality, I do think Briana and her baby were in real danger, which is simply awful. But good news is finally here: Briana and baby are both stable, and have finally been released from the hospital!

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

A rep tells Radar Online that Briana is now at home doing well and that her baby “is no longer in danger.” It’s not clear whether Briana has been put on medically ordered bed rest, but the source does indicate that doctors have recommended she “take it easy.”

But taking it easy may not be possible in the midst of reunion backlash, not to mention Briana’s 2-hour Lifetime special with her husband Matt Ericson airing next Wednesday. Both LWLA season 4, and the upcoming special revolve around Briana and Matt’s unbelievably toxic relationship, during which Matt has sent lewd photos to multiple women behind his pregnant wife’s back.

RELATED: Briana Renee’s Father Speaks Out: “I Haven’t Talked To Her In A Year”

Recently, Briana’s father Robert Kealiher spoke out, claiming he hasn’t talked to his daughter in over a year. He also alleges that Matt has total control of Briana’s phone, and basically, her life. In his interview with Radar, Robert also accused Matt of being a master manipulator, whose powers over the gullible Briana are especially potent.

Now Briana is firing back at her father! “I’m appalled to find my own father making false accusations about me and my husband during a time when I’m hospitalized and fighting for both the life of myself and my baby,” she incredulously defends.

Matt, who was at the hospital with Briana during last week’s pre-term labor scare, also defended himself on the LWLA reunion as the survivor of childhood abuse. He cites this reason for his dysfunctional “sickness,” alluding to his self-diagnosed sexual addiction.

Briana’s father sums up Matt’s issues a bit more succinctly. “He’s a wacko,” states Robert.

Uh, I think it’s safe to say the court of public opinion sides with dad on this one!

Bethenny Frankel Says Luann de Lesseps “Acted Desperately”

Bethenny Frankel blog

bethenny-frankel-luann-de-lesseps

This season of Real Housewives of New York City pretty much just started and it’s already chock full of drama. There is so much going on that the drama is overflowing onto the blogs and social media pages. This is the kind of season that I was hoping for! There is really so much tension this season. Just when it seems like two of the ladies have made amends…someone backtracks to beef about the one or two words in the apology that didn’t sit well with her.

It may have seemed like Bethenny Frankel was cool with Luann de Lesseps and Jules Wainstein after the latest episode, but that was until she saw what was said behind her back and during the on-camera interviews. Now, Bethenny is pretty offended and she she sounded off in her blog.

CLICK CONTINUE READING TO SEE WHAT SHE SAID!

It seemed like Bethenny and Jules were able to clear the air when they went to brunch, but after the fact, Bethenny is pretty peeved about some of the comments Jules made.

Bethenny wrote this is in her blog: “I enjoyed our conversation. I was apologetic about my rudeness. I did not know that Jules was dissing my ‘tiny’ house in her interviews and to the other women. Jules and Michael are not old money. That notwithstanding, my understanding of new money behavior is to buy the biggest flashiest place you can find so people will see how rich you are regardless of whether it is even paid for.”

To be honest, it seemed like a silly comment for Jules to make. I don’t think it’s nice, but I don’t feel that it is extremely offensive either. Plus, Jules appeared on Watch What Happens Live right after RHONY aired, and it was clear that she was extremely embarrassed and horrified by her own remarks. Hopefully Bethenny saw that episode.

Bethenny went on even more about the “new money” “old money” comments and even took some digs at Jules for how she has acquired her money: “As everyone knows, when purchasing real estate, the value of a property is first determined by the location, not the size of your house. I was broke less than a decade ago, so that is what I have done with my “new” money. Either way, my money is mine, earned by me, not my husband, and not given to me by my parents. I’m proud that I was able to work, succeed and provide this home for myself and my daughter.”

RELATED: Dorinda Medley Wants The RHONY Cast To Just Get Along

And if you think Bethenny is mad at Jules, she really went in on Luann.

Bethenny was really put off when Luann gave her a birthday gift and it didn’t really come off well, so she tried to clarify how she reacted in her blog post: “For the record, I was at Luann’s for a 4th of July BBQ and one other time on her boat this summer. She did not adopt me nor are we ‘family’ as she bizarrely stated. A few instances occurred this summer that turned me off, and she was turning the gifts and the charm on here to cut me off at the pass. She knew what went down and was embarrassed and her buttering up worked on me.”

So Bethenny is saying that Luann was only being this way (in front of the cameras) in order to advance her social position. It does seem a little over the top, but it’s hard to tell what is sincere and what is not based on the few scenes that we get to watch this week.

Bethenny really made things clear when she wrote this about Lu: “I most enjoy when Luann and I are fake social friends. That is our proper speed. I bet she would agree. She acted poorly and desperately this summer on a few occasions, and it changed our friendship for me, and by now, definitely for her. I genuinely want her to be happy. She was looking for something this summer, and I hope she found it. Maybe one day we will be back on track. I have no animosity for her whatsoever.”

So there’s “no animosity,” but there was almost an entire blog entry dedicated to talking about Luann and how she acted so “desperately” over the summer? I do not think I would publicly refer to anyone as “desperate” if it everything was cool between us, but that’s just me.

Brandi Glanville Says Lisa Vanderpump Lied About Abuse Allegations

lisa-vanderpump-brandi-glanville

I don’t know if I would continue watching a reality show if I was a former cast member, but it is very clear that Brandi Glanville is still tuning in to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Aside from making her pre-taped cameo appearance during part three of the reunion, Brandi decided to share her thoughts on this season via Twitter.

Whether you are a Brandi fan or not, you have to admit that she’s never boring. If you are an avid Real Housewives viewer, it is definitely worth following her, especially after the final reunion episode aired. Brandi seriously went off. She tweeted Lisa Vanderpump‘s story about domestic violence, questioned LVP’s friendship with Kyle Richards, and refused to issue any apologies.

CLICK CONTINUE READING TO FIND OUT WHAT BRANDI SAID!

I don’t even know where to begin. Brandi did not even throw shade with these tweets. There was no subtlety with these remarks. Brandi is just straight up all the time and I will never get bored of it.

I have to be honest, I was very taken aback to hear Kyle and Lisa laughing and making fun of the pictures Yolanda Foster posted on Instagram from her treatments and Brandi agreed with my sentiments in one of her tweets. I don’t think I would use the “c” word, but I can see why Brandi wanted to. Laughing at someone undergoing a medical treatment just is not a good look.

Brandi did not stop with that one. She thought it was weirdly suspicious when Kyle claimed to be familiar with Munchausen by Proxy and not Munchausen.

Brandi was not done going in on Kyle and Lisa with her Twitter rant. She questioned the validity of their friendship.

Brandi really took her allegations to an extreme when she said that she didn’t believe LVP’s story about the abusive relationship, citing Lisa’s claim that she’s never been hit in her life after Brandi slapped her in Amsterdam.

No shade thrown – Brandi really just laid it all out there with her claims. I can’t wait to see if Kyle and Lisa ever address these accusations.

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: With A Little Help From Your Friends

Real Housewives of New York recap

Real Housewives of New York recap

The standout moment from last night’s Real Housewives Of New York was that nearly every woman wore the exact same dress to Ramona Singer‘s birthday lunch. We’re no longer fighting for control of Ramona Blue, it’s now Ramona Red!

Dorinda Medley meets Carole Radziwill for dumplings. Of course, the real reason for this feast is to discuss everything that went down in the Hamptons at Jules Wainstein‘s Joker’s Funhouse of Construction Deathtraps. Carole says it was an awkward vibe, but surprisingly admits that she and Bethenny Frankel behaved badly.

Suddenly, careening through the door in a gold leather jacket, like The Flash (if he lingered a whisper of pissiness and perfume), is Jules. She plops down – I never even had time to notice if she ate or not because she talked so much and so fast about the terrible impression Bethenny‘s abrasiveness has given her.

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

Here’s what sucks – Jules had salient points! Salient points she obscured with her own arrogant insecurity. Bethenny has been openly judgmental of Jules, without provocation and incredibly rude. Bethenny had no business coming to Jules’ house, lecturing her on what a failure the project was and telling her how to spend her money. After all, Jules went to Bethenny’s and behaved graciously, brought her a gift that wasn’t filled with Skinnygirl schlock she wants to promote, and made an effort to get to know Bethenny and her friends. Also, Jules made no comments about Bethenny’s home, except to say it was lovely.

Naturally, because it does seem the only thing Jules is regularly sticking into her mouth is her foot, she stomped all over her very legit points, by shaming Bethenny for having a smaller house and less money – not only that, but “new money.” The horrors! I have no idea what that was about, but it was gross and left me feeling like I wanted to immediately plunge my hands into the ice bucket at a cocktail party.

I get it, Jules was venting, but it was shallow low-blow venting to mask her own insecurity

Despite Jules‘ rip-roaring treatise about the divide between her wealth and home size, contrasted to Bethenny‘s, both Dorinda and Carole encouraged Jules to share her feelings with Bethenny, because as Dorinda said, “Bethenny usually apologizes.”

rhony-ramona-sonja

One person who really dislikes people being upfront and truthful with her is Sonja MorganRamona stops by to celebrate that her divorce is final. Sonja marvels that Ramona has moved on so quickly – 2 years – whereas Sonja still spends her evenings staring into a backwards upside-down crystal ball, cleansed with sage, pining for the years of bliss and money.

Things have been off with Sonja and Ramona. Ramona is hoping they can smooth things out. Sonja is bizarrely wearing some pussy-bow blouse paired with a too-short studded mini and knee boots, and swilling a glass of water around like it’s a highball. It is this moment that Ramona chooses to gently inform Sonja that she’s embarrassed by her and keeping her distance. Not only that, but she’s worried about Sonja’s drinking and suggests she tone it down. These concerns seemed real and earnest – not Ramona looking to stir the pot.

Ramona even reveals why Bethenny didn’t invite Sonja to her birthday party (Sonja didn’t even know she wasn’t invited) – because she was worried Sonja may get wasted. Bethenny later denied this. Actually, if there was even an event which needed a dash of Sexy Sonja, it was that stinker!

Real Housewives of New York recap

Sonja completely dismisses Ramona‘s concerns and is offended. Then she mentions that Luann de Lesseps is moving herself in. Ramona is gobsmacked because this is the last thing Sonja, in her precarious state, needs – given how many men and bottles Luann goes through on the regular! These ladies make it sound like Luann is some skidrow alchy prostitute. Sonja concurs Lu is a bad influence who drags her around everywhere like an old suitcase.

After bonding with Luann-bashing, Ramona invites Sonja to her birthday lunch.

Jules

Jules has lunch with Bethenny, and spends the first 15 minute scrambling anxiously around her frustrations to make a point. Finally, Bethenny makes Jules’ point for her, that Jules is upset by Bethenny’s uncalled for behavior in the Hamptons. Bethenny apologizes for Bethenny, on Jules’ behalf. Jules feels better getting that off her chest, then proceeds to openly admit she suffered from a terrible eating disorder in her late-teens/early twenties, which caused her drop out of college and dwindle to 80lbs.

Bethenny tears up over Jules‘ honesty and vulnerability. But, of course, Bethenny has to overtake Jules’ moment by making it all about Bethenny and her need to over-share about her mother’s eating disorder.

Bethenny

Bethenny, who was previously iffy abut Jules, is greatly impressed by her openness and believes they’re on the path to friendship. Something tells me that path will go about the same way Jules’ Hamptons home is going.

The next day, Bethenny has lunch with Ramona and Carole in Ramona’s De-Mario-ed apartment. The table is wobbly as Lady Morgan after champagne and Carole is later than an overdue bill, but the mood is pleasant.

Ramona is excited about her upcoming birthday and informs Carole that Luann is attending. Carole insists she’s indifferent. Bethenny‘s annoyance with Luann stems back to this summer when Luann tried to invite herself to the dinner party Bethenny threw for Kyle Richards and the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. Luann was overly-pushy about being excluded and it reminded Bethenny of the ‘old Luann’ – Luann The Snake. Bethenny decided to take a step back from their friendship.

On the other hand, Bethenny is all too happy to report that she’s had a change of heart about Jules, and that they really connected. “I love Jules,” champions Ramona. Carole seemed… discouraging (?) about Bethenny and Jules’ breakthrough. Her expression was a bit… um… odd.

Meanwhile, Jules and Dorinda meet for pedicures. Jules is also ecstatic to have seen a different side of Bethenny. “You were right,” she tells Dorinda, sharing that Bethenny was much softer one-on-one, prompting her to share about her eating disorder. Unlike Carole, Dorinda seems thrilled to have helped broker that peace, and hopeful for a friendship between her two friends. Dorinda has also decided John no longer has any place in her friend group, so she’s not including in him in future events. She will not have John blamed for every situation that goes wrong between the ladies. Hey – less John is alright with me!

Dorinda and John aren’t the only relationship that has washed up on a rocky beach. Carole‘s Adam, the subject of so much controversy and discontent, is in Ethiopia, making a film. He’s been gone for months, making Carole recall her own distant youth working as a producer for ABC News. Carole COULD have gone back to that. She wrote like 2 books in 15 years – what was stopping her from getting back into her former career? [eye roll]

Carole Skypes Adam, but he seems distracted and tells her he’s in the middle of eating and needs to go. After she clearly did up her face and hair to chat with him, Carole is bit put off by his abrupt brush-off. Ethiopia calls, not Carole!

The day of Ramona‘s birthday, Bethenny arrives first and is greeted by Ramona’s coven of girlfriends, who pull her into their perfectly preserved fold to gush over her hair. Bethenny marvels that time has stopped, leaving them in this restaurant for a year, unchanged in any way.

Ramona and Carole

When Ramona arrives to “celebrate with 50 of her closest girlfriends,” all of whom have stood by her in her darkest hours through her “horrible divorce from Mario,” she is the first of the ladies to be wearing a red sheath dress. She is in an emotionally buoyant mood that leaves her no energy to start drama. This was a first. I like this Ramona! Everyone at the party actually seems strangely emotional, but also euphoric. Who spritzed dopamine into the pinot?!

Carole is also wearing a red sheath. The entire party, she skitters behind Bethenny like an anxious shadow. Sonja thought the party began at 3 PM, but made it, arriving on what appeared to be the tail-end of an all-nighter and wearing fur and scarves, a messy up-do, and smoky eye from G’staad. The crazy vibes of Jules and Sonja immediately synchronize, and they connect instantly.

Luann looks striking but seems unsettled. She breezes past Bethenny and Carole to greet Ramona. Carole is miffed over the “cold shoulder,” but insists she prefers it that way. Luann has come bearing surprises – not a hula hoop, but Part Deux of Bethenny’s birthday gift.

rhony-ramona-necklace

Bethenny feels uncomfortable with the timing of Luann’s present, given that it’s RAMONA‘s party, but Luann assures her Ramona also got her present, so they open them together. Carole hovers just over Bethenny’s shoulder, literally poking her nose into the gift bag like a nosy child. Is it me or is Carole morphing into Baby? She’s always at Bethenny’s heels, nipping and frolicking. She requires a lot of petting, reassuring, corralling, and feeding, lest she get lost or confused. And she seems to be guarding Bethenny against the threat of what? Luann? Jules? Meanies who may bark at her in the dog park? Obviously, Bethenny is pack leader and top dawg. This relationship has become co-dependently awkward. On Carole’s behalf.

Luann gifts Bethenny a custom-monogrammed Carlos Falchi bag, since Bethenny admired the one Luann had so much. Ramona gets a tangled necklace from The Countess Collection – a gift Luann actually previously gave Ramona two months before, but it broke so Luann took it to have repaired. Ramona is floored that she was “re-gifted” her own gift. And Luann seems completely unaware.

That was so weird! That bag was a super lavish gift, carrying a lot of things unsaid, but hoped to be conveyed. The timing was odd, and the obvious emotional attachment Luann had to giving it was unsettling. She is clearly overly investing in her relationship with Bethenny, who is not reciprocating. It’s even stranger considering that Bethenny and Lu have been at odds lately. Maybe the bag was Lu’s way of saying let’s make up, but Bethenny didn’t take it that way. Maybe Luann feels that with Carole around, she’s overtaken Bethenny and there’s no room for The Countess?

Bethenny pulls Luann aside to explain that she thinks there’s a disconnect and reminds her of the incident in the Hamptons. Bethenny maintains a few similar incidents occurred, which made her want to detach from Luann. Also, Bethenny accuses Luann of not being honest about her life. Bethenny always does this – a deflection so she doesn’t have to take accountability for her own bad behavior or be honest about HER LIFE.

Bethenny and Luann

For once, Luann does get honest! She is adamant that she and Bethenny got together often at each other’s homes, and Lu considered Bethenny like family. Bethenny does not seem to agree. She was feeling a little over-sensitive this summer with Noelle leaving for college, moving apartments, and being lonely. Luann just wanted to be included and have her friends there for her. Luann tears up, and even Bethenny is shocked. They hug, and Bethenny is momentarily mollified after seeing the vulnerable side of Luann.

Dorinda arrives, last, also wearing  a red sheath, and all too eager to make thinly-veiled barbs about some of her ‘friends’ being jealous of her relationship with John, and judging her. Mind you, Dorinda says all of this to Luann and Sonja, while Ramona is seated right next to her! Ramona scampers away to tell Carole and Bethenny, and Bethenny speaks for us all when she nearly gags on her salad. Nice try, Doritos!

Ramona and Dorinda

Even though Dorinda still feels a trust has been shattered in her friendship with Ramona, she gives Ramona the sweetest birthday toast ever. Days after Richard died, Ramona insisted Dorinda get out of bed to attend her birthday lunch, where all her girlfriends would be there to support and love her, and that is the importance of friendships, and why Dorinda values Ramona. “To the ladies who lunch!” she cheered, bringing almost everyone to tears. I almost cried myself. And this, people, is why I LOVE Real Housewives Of New York – the friendships are really real and so are the issues.

TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED JULES AND BETHENNY MADE PEACE? WILL THEY BE FRIENDS? IS SONJA OUT OF CONTROL? WHAT’S UP WITH LUANN?

Little Women: NY Season Two Premiere Recap: Pajamas On, Gloves Off!

Little Women: NY recap - Lila and Terra argue

Little Women: NY recap

This season on Little Women: NY, we see that while some things have changed (new cast members and living situations), some things remain the same. Lila Call is still working on her sobriety after a bumpy first season and Dawn Lang remains as self-righteous as ever. On the season premiere, we get to see both of those issues play out in full force, thanks in part to Terra Jole from Little Women: LA making an very unwelcome appearance.

Lila’s life seems to be on track for now – she’s sober, happy, and has a new roommate. Turns out it’s none other than Jason Perez. He finally managed to cut the cord and move out of his parent’s house and has even been seeing someone special for a few months. Jason is so happy, he’s ready to celebrate with a Pajama Jam party, where his mystery love interest will be making an appearance. Lila acknowledges that living with a boy can be hard and she has to set some ground rules – no walking around naked, no leaving the toilet seat up, and Jason better make himself scarce when Lila has a gentleman caller. Apparently the walls are very thin.

CLICK CONTINUE READING FOR MORE!

Jason tells Lila that he is going to have alcohol for the rest of the guests at the party and Lila objects, which is reasonable, given that it’s her apartment and her sobriety. Jason doesn’t seem to care because Lila is being her usual dramatic self. I guess there is no time to support your friend’s sobriety when we have a Pajama Jam looming.

Little Women: NY recap

Jazmin Lang is working out in the park and introduces us to her new friend Jessica Capri, who she met while going on some auditions. Jessica goes by the name “Jersey Jess” in the wrestling arena (because she is from Jersey, how clever) and is proud of it! She has travelled around with Hulk Hogan’s wrestling show and is known for her boobs, smile, and big mouth. She is pursuing acting and PR and is also single, ready to mingle.

Jazmin starts to give Jess the rundown of her strained relationship with sister-in-law and moral-compass-for-all-things-little-people, Dawn. Jazmin is bringing Jess to the Pajama Jam tonight and worries how she will be received, given her past in little people wrestling. She isn’t wrong to be worried!

Dawn Lang updates us on where she is at, and of course, it’s standing on the moral high ground. She may have broken up with her long-term boyfriend but she is focused on her career of being a paralegal and professional judge of everyone’s lifestyle. Dawn is a bona fide working girl (in case you didn’t catch that point she is desperate to make) but doesn’t mind trading her suit for some jammies and a party. Lila immediately starts gossiping about the new friend that Jazmin is bringing and Dawn snipes about Jazmin having poor judgement in people. I’m assuming Dawn is hiding a long black robe and gavel in her LV tote.

Little Women: NY recap

Jazmin, her husband, David, and Jersey Jess arrive, much to Dawn’s dismay. She already knows who Jess is and doesn’t like any of it, including her pajama look that is akin to a “cheap Victoria’s Secret model that is lacking height.” Dawn is so busy being shocked at the sight of another little person in – GASP!!! – pink stilettos, that she can’t recover and clutches her imaginary pearls with her mouth agape. Lila is busy checking Jess’s LP card by examining her thigh gap and the rest of the crew is unsure she’s even allowed to be called a little person. Way to make a gal feel welcome!

Dawn proclaims that as Jazmin’s sister-in-law, it’s her “responsibility” to let her know when she is a jealous hater has concerns and pulls Jazmin and David aside to preach to them. She doesn’t like that Jess is in wrestling and needs that to be known RIGHT NOW. Dawn doesn’t really have a point outside of being judge-y and mean and it doesn’t go over well with David, who sticks up for his wife. Dawn agrees to drop it for now but clams it is not over. Turns out, those walls are pretty thin because Jess heard all of what happened.

Little Women: NY recap

Jason makes a big reveal when DJ, his average sized boyfriend, arrives at the party. DJ and Jason awkwardly stand in front of the firing squad group while Jason talks about how they met online and how happy they are. Everyone seems to approve without issue for once.

Unfortunately, this Pajama Jam isn’t about happiness and roses, it’s about drama and pettiness so it’s time to start some in the form of Terra arriving. Apparently, she’s a good friend of Jason and he invited her, fully knowing the nasty history between her and Lila. Quick background: Lila used to be a side piece for Terra’s now husband, Joe Gnoffo, and Terra accused Lila of continuing to pursue him, even after Terra shacked up with him. Terra and Lila got in a huge fight last year and nothing has been resolved.

As Jason gives Terra the grand tour, Lila starts to melt down over Terra having the audacity to sit her purse on the counter and take her shoes off. Jason takes some heat from the other ladies for not telling Lila about inviting Terra, knowing that they have had issues.

Little Women: NY recap

Lila starts to completely unravel and starts screaming at Terra to get out. She throws her shoes out the door and says she’s going to call the police. Terra decides that she can’t go down without a fight and suggests that Lila relapsed. Lila screams in her face and Terra is unfazed because one would imagine she’s pretty used to this on Little Women: LA. Lila storms off and Terra throws a bottle, which lodges in a door. What is that door made of, construction paper!? Terra leaves and Jason makes it all about him by saying he’s mortified this happened in front of his boyfriend.

The next day, Jess introduces us to her friend, Katie Snyder, who she knows from the little people wrestling world. Katie is six months pregnant and flew out from Seattle because she gave her boyfriend, PJ, and ultimatum to put a ring on it. Jess confides in Katie about how judged she felt last night while Katie listens sympathetically and probably regrets her decision to fly out already.

Lila and Dawn meet for some much needed yoga and to discuss the Pajama Jam that went HAM. Lila admits she went a little overboard and isn’t happy about the way that Jason hurt her. Dawn starts instructing Lila on some yoga moves because can’t waste a single opportunity to show off her abundant knowledge but does manage to come down from her high horse and point out that Lila didn’t break her sobriety last night.

Little Women: NY recap

Jason and Jazmin meet up for lunch to discuss Jason’s one sided view of how everyone attacked him over inviting Terra to the party. Jason refuses to see his responsibility for inviting someone who Lila has had serious beef with into their home without telling her. He insists that he’s a good person and questions being in this group of friends since they are forgetting his character over this incident. Jason isn’t ready to apologize and says it’s best to wait until things get less emotional. Jazmin agrees and hopes he knows she has his back.

Over at Jazmin and David’s apartment, David finds out his job is sending him to Orlando in a week. David wants Jazmin to come with him but she doesn’t want to leave her dreams of an acting career in NY. Instead of being upset that his wife doesn’t want to move with him and would prefer to live in a different state, he suggests that Jazmin consider moving in with Dawn so they don’t have to carry the financial burden of paying two sets of rent while living apart.

Jazmin goes to talk to Dawn about it and Judge Dawn wastes no time banging her gavel about how she was raised to stand on her own and not to rely on family. Dawn throws back in Jazmin’s face that Jazmin didn’t want her opinion at the party the other night so, therefore, she should be independent and figure it out on her own. Dawn tells her point blank that Jazmin can’t live with her while they are still working on their relationship. Jazmin holds her ground and tells Dawn that she is always nagging her she doesn’t respect her. Dawn lets Jazmin know where the door is and Jazmin storms out.

It looks like we are in for another season full of big drama with these two!

Little Women: LA Reunion Recap: Part 2

Terra-Jole-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Briana-Renee-Looking-Up-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

It’s time for part two of the Little Women: LA reunion! And I, for one, could not be happier about the choice of hosts for this big ole mess. Last week, Kevin Frazier ran this show like a BOSS, and tonight he’s taking things one step further by insisting that Matt Ericson sit down, put his big boy pants (as opposed to his Peter Pan Pants) on, and listen up as his disgusting texts to other women are read aloud in front of the entire cast. Let us take a moment of silence to thank the reality gods for putting Kevin Frazier in our lives. Amen.

Okay, here we go! Part one of the season 4 reunion ended on a stage break, during which Christy McGinity asked Briana Renee if she “okay’d” the sexts the entire cast was about to hear? No, says Briana. But it doesn’t look like she has much control. And let’s face it: not having control over anything happening around her, to her, or near her seems to be Briana’s ultimate character flaw. Or at least she believes it to be. I’d argue that she has plenty of control over this mess she’s in, but chooses to hide her head in the sand instead. Suddenly, Matt takes issue with the texts too, claiming they’re “grotesque” and he doesn’t want to stick around to hear them repeated. Uh, wait up homie! We thought you went into some sort of fugue state and didn’t recall anything about what you wrote? #RememberTHAT?

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

Showing his true colors (which are not blue, but black like his soul), Matt then lashes out at Terra Jole, et al, by calling them “little oomps,” in reference to oompa loompas, I assume. Which is possibly the most degrading thing he’s said on camera thus far to anyone – and that’s saying A LOT – considering he is married to a little person, is the stepfather of a beautiful girl who is also a little person, and may have a little person as a baby on the way. This guy needs to be sterilized. And beaten hard with a shoe. Not necessarily in that order.

Elena Gant looks like she can’t believe her ears. Oh, believe it, Elena! The depths of Matt’s deplorable behavior know no bounds! Kevin, thank heavens, steps in to basically force Matt back into his seat, telling him he’s going to listen to these texts, like it or not. Here are a sampling of a few of them:

“…my relationship is already dead,” writes Matt, in referencing his marriage to Briana.

“But you do got that Clyde tattoo for life,” writes some rando woman to Matt, to which he replies, “Naw cover it up.”

In another text, it looks like Matt is reaching out repeatedly to some other woman to “chat” during a time (end of January) when he and Briana were planning their wedding and already knew the baby was coming. Briana naively thought things were “fine” at this time in their relationship. Errrmmm…no.

These texts aren’t the graphic ones, says Kevin, which are too lewd to share on this platform. But they’re enough to make Matt squirm, so we’ll have to take what we can get! Matt defends himself as an abuse victim yet again, as that’s his strategy and he’s sticking to it. Kevin calls bullsh*t on this, asking why he led his wife to believe everything was fine, yet continued to pursue other women behind her back? “Because I b*tched out,” Matt lamely replies.

Matt-Ericson-Briana-Renee-Talking-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

So, what does Briana think of these texts – and the even worse ones? She doesn’t understand why Matt is with her if he’s still out there doing this disgusting dirt. It makes her wonder what she’s worth. Jasmine Sorge tells Briana she’s worth much more than this, and for her baby to be raised by this sorry excuse of a man is not good. Terra wonders how many times Matt has to show Briana who he is before she believes him. Briana has no answer, but I fear the number is somewhere approaching infinity…and beyond.

Kevin asks Matt if he’s scared Briana will leave him over this mess? Of course he’s not! But he plays up his fake contrition, claiming yes, it’s a “real fear.” He hopes to be a father to this baby, no matter whether they break up or not. I’m a great father, but a sh*tty husband, says Matt. But when is Matt going to be this better person he claims he wants to be? asks Kevin. Because he’s a 13-year  old girl in a blue blazer, Matt snarks that we’ll all see! Either Terra’s going to be right about him or HE is! So THERE! Oh.My.God. Really?

Kevin transitions to Matt and Briana’s upcoming 2-hour Lifetime special, of which we see a sneak peek. Cameras kept rolling after LWLA season 4 wrapped because, well, the sexting scandal broke right at the bitter end, and the network couldn’t let this storyline go! In preview clips, we see Briana reacting to the news by questioning her whole relationship, wondering who Matt is and why she’s with him. Yeah, Briana – all GOOD questions! Matt of course begs her to stay with him because he’s not a bad person…he’s just “sick.”

Jasmine-Sorge-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Back on the reunion couches, Jasmine responds to the preview. “I am so pissed off that I gave you a chance and you’re hurting her!” she screams. As for Briana, she just doesn’t want to hurt anymore. She’s hurting, this is her life, her marriage, her baby – and she thought it was all completely different. She wants her friends to back off with the judgment and recognize she’s in real pain here.

Terra is about to argue with Briana over this point until Kevin the Kaped Krusader of Rational Thought shuts her down. “Whoa, whoa, whoa,” he stops Terra. “You’re about to argue with her and she’s in pain right now.” Terra is muzzled a bit by this Jedi mind trick, admitting she doesn’t want Briana to be in pain. She feels like they were trying to warn Briana about this, but Briana feels like they’re just saying “I told you so.”

Tonya-Banks-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Tonya Banks, crying, says when Briana is hurting, they’re all hurting for her. She wants Briana to be happy and safe. But she, for one, can’t be in the presence of this anymore. It’s just too toxic. Elena takes a softer approach, admitting she and Preston had problems at the beginning of their marriage too, but worked through them. She retains a small amount of hope that Briana and Matt can do the same. Well, that was certainly sweet of Elena to say, but let’s be clear: Matt is NO Preston – not by a long shot. #PrestonLove! #SaintPreston! #BestRealityTVHubsEvah!

Briana says no one is there for her now as a friend, except Christy. Oh, pleeeeeez! Jasmine takes exception to this, as she’s been loyal (to a fault) to Briana more consistently than anyone on this stage. Kevin shuts this conversation down though, because none of this is going to help Briana through this crisis right here, right now.

Elena-Gant-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Elena reiterates that this gang needs to cool their jets with Briana and let her make her own decisions. But does Briana feel that Matt is actually capable of being faithful to her? “I want to believe it,” says Briana. As for Matt, he claims to “appreciate” Elena’s honesty, apologizes to Jasmine for basically duping her, says Christy has “some good points,” but has nothing to say to Terra and Tonya. Who have had his number since day one. And with that, Kevin wishes him good luck in fixing this garbage heap of a rotting mess he’s made, and Matt exits the stage. Then gets sniper shot by Preston, who is disguised as a set plant. (Juuuuust kidding! But, really, would that be great or what???)

Kevin-Frazier-Host-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Moving on to other messy business, we revisit the frenemyship of Terra and Christy, which started out on a positive note this season, then burst into flames at the bar fight. Jasmine’s exaggeration that Christy “forced” Terra and Tonya to come to Briana’s bachelorette party started this entire fiasco, but instead of discussing that VERY KEY point, we move straight into discussion of who threw what at whom at the bar. Kevin says it looked like Terra threw a drink at Christy, Christy threw a plastic cup, then a glass at Terra – which hit her arm, then Terra threw the “infamous glass” at Christy, which hit her in her cowboy hat. Exactly. And this all resulted in brain injuries…HOW? Thank you again, Kevin Frazier, for letting the events speak for themselves. MVP Hosting Award!

Terra-Jole-Talking-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Terra says she regrets taking things to that level. But when she heard Christy was talking about her behind her back, she went crazy. Christy defends that the reason Terra got mad is because Jasmine said she “forced” her and Tonya to go to Mexico, but Terra says it doesn’t matter whether she said “forced” or “convinced.” It’s all the same in her book. Interesting!

Elena says the drink throwing occurred because of all the names and accusations flying in the moment – it went way beyond the Mexico issue. Of course, Terra and Christy calling each other “fat” played a part…and still does for Terra, as she calls Christy “fat troll” again right now on stage. Ugggggh!

Christy-McGinity-Reunion-2-Little-Women-LA

Christy lets Terra, then Tonya rant for a moment before Kevin plays a 3-angle video showing exactly how the the glass-throwing incident went down. And we see clearly how the glass Terra threw did nothing more than graze/bump Christy’s hat before she hopped off the chair to leave. Kevin asks Christy how she can blame Terra for the incident when she threw the first glass? Even if it only hit Terra’s arm, wasn’t the intent the same? Christy squirms, claiming she told the police EXACTLY what happened. But she didn’t give them the full story, did she? Short answer: No. Did Christy truly have a concussion? wonders Kevin. Yes! Christy vehemently defends. Terra says that after this incident, Christy will never be her friend again.

To muddy the waters more, Kevin invites Dawn Lang from Little Women: New York to come out on the stage next. What, is her paralegal status supposed to help Christy out in some way, shape, or form? This is more likely a transparent attempt at a crossover between franchises, but oh well. Dawn apparently “played a pivotal role” in Christy deciding to file charges. She claims that acts of violence causing physical harm to someone equals assault. Mmmmmkay. Christy had “acute concussion syndrome,” yo! And she had a mesh hat! The hat was squishy! Terra is all: What.Ever. She screams at Christy, Christy screams at her. Dawn tries to scream to make herself remotely relevant. But Kevin, the voice of reason, again says to let the video simply speak for itself. Roll tape, take 1,432. Dawn still isn’t convinced. She’s #TeamChristy all the way. This is going, and will go, nowhere.

As the women continue to scream mere inches from Kevin’s ears, he nearly has to physically restrain them both from puddle jumping him in order to strangle each other. “Ladies, nobody can get anything solved with you guys acting like this!” he shouts in vain. Dawn gets all finger-pointy at Terra, telling her that she “of all people” should understand the ramifications of her actions. In LWNY (on the premiere episode…how poignant!), Terra chucks a beer bottle into a door at Lila Call’s house. Guess we’ll be treated to this footage too! Yip. There it is. Terra admits her behavior is sometimes out of control, but she hasn’t “assaulted” anyone.

But the fight at the bar between Christy and Terra didn’t end at the bar, which is the issue here. Christy still claims the paparazzi “just found her” at the hospital. Mmmm-hmmm. Terra doesn’t believe this. Nor did she ever comment on the situation publicly. So, Christy is Deep Throat. Obvi. Where do the charges stand now though? Dawn screeches something unintelligible, then Kevin explains that the charges went to the DA’s office, where they were finally dropped. It’s over. And so is Dawn’s 5 minutes of LWLA fame, because she’s dismissed.

The men have come out to join the ladies – all but Joe Gnoffo, that is, who Terra claims had to leave so he didn’t continue to embarrass her on screen to watch Penny. Todd weighs in on the bar fight. He doesn’t know if the police report was necessary, but confesses that Christy did have a medical concussion diagnosis. Terra calls Christy a liar. They argue inanely over whether Christy even has a peanut allergy, with Christy actually pulling an epi-pen from her purse as proof. My God. These women are exhausting, if nothing else. But Terra feels no remorse, jumping into the toilet bowl of insults again as she calls Christy, “crusty,” and of course, fat. (Not that Christy hasn’t done her own fair share of name calling, mind you.)

Jasmine’s hubby Chris says they’re working on having another baby, but don’t seem to be in any rush. Preston is sweetly excited about his baby boys on the way. But the hot topic here is – of COURSE – Matt, and how he reached out to several of the men on stage about his sexting. Huh? We know he did this with Joe, which was bizarre enough, but why rope these other dudes into his dirty confessions? Oh, Lord – Chris says Matt told him all about his past abuse. WHY? Preston admits Matt has “issues” that need to be addressed, but clearly doesn’t feel that helping him fix them is one of his #LifeGoals.

Kevin asks the men straight up if they think Matt and Briana should stay together. Bottom line: No one knows. (Or cares?) And until a restraining order is placed, these guys are not making an enemy of Matt Ericson. Preston, like Elena, is the only one who leans toward Matt and Briana making it through this. He’s rooting for them, despite their toxic and insane issues. The other guys just hope he gets help. Because god knows he needs it.

Next, we see another sneak peek of next week’s Matt and Briana 2-hour special, which reveals Briana struggling to process what’s happened (is that her step mom in one clip!?!?) while Matt looks like a certified nut in every. single. scene. Kevin asks why Briana is doing this special? She says she has to face these issues either way, so why not continue to keep her relationship in the spotlight. It’s better than letting people make judgments and assumptions based on rumor. Well, that’s a convenient answer, but doesn’t tell the whole story, does it?

Although Briana swears Matt is not living at home at the time of this reunion, we do know he was in the hospital last week during her pre-term pregnancy scare (she’s been released from the hospital since). We also know that Briana’s father recently spoke out against Matt’s continued controlling and “wacko” behavior, telling the press that Matt doesn’t even let Briana call or text on her own phone; all communication goes through him. And Briana hasn’t spoken with her family in a year, according to her dad.

So, it seems Bonnie and Clyde are still likely together. The special next week will reveal more, to be sure, but how will it change the reality that Briana seems to accept as her fate? We’ll be recapping the special here, so weigh in on your take on this sad, sad situation. Until then, that’s a wrap for season 4 of Little Women: LA! We laughed, we cried. We threw things at the TV when Matt was on screen. I know one thing for sure: it sucked me in! How about you?

TELL US: WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE REUNION, PART 2? WILL TERRA AND CHRISTY EVER BE FRIENDS AGAIN? DO YOU THINK BRIANA AND MATT’S RELATIONSHIP IS SALVAGEABLE, OR EVEN WORTH SAVING? IS KEVIN FRAZIER THE BEST HOST, LIKE, EVER?!
