Kyle Richards Discusses Erika Jayne’s Behavior At The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Reunion

Kyle Richards Discusses Erika Jayne’s Behavior At The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Reunion

As thankful as we all most of us are that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 is over,  most of the viewers do miss the Housewives themselves. Thankfully Kyle Richards has a scripted show to promote and appeared on Watch What Happens Live last night.

Of course she talked about the Beverly Hills reunion, but she was also asked to weigh in on the Bethenny Frankel vs. Carole Radziwill feud. Kyle has been friends with Bethenny for over 25 years, so she does have a lot of insight when it comes to the Skinnygirl founder.

Andy Cohen told Kyle, “Carole talked tonight about what it’s like to be in a disagreement with Bethenny” before he asked Kyle to share her thoughts. As per usual, Kyle did what she could to be diplomatic. She said, “I don’t know all about the season, but I will say this: Every time I’ve had an issue with Bethenny- which in 25 years hasn’t been that many- I will say ‘This upset me’ and she will say ‘You know what, you’re right’ and we work through it. We’re here 25 years later so…”

And then Andy asked Kyle about the Beverly Hills reunion. Of course, the first question was “Has anything changed with your sisters since the reunion wrapped?” Even though this was such an obvious question to ask, Kyle still looked caught off guard and uneasy responding.

Kyle told Andy, “Well, no. It was more…. Kim [Richards] and I are fine and I sent her the DVD. Kathy [Hilton] has not seen the show yet.” Can we get Kathy on this show? This sister dynamic sounds a million times more compelling than anything we were subjected to last season.

Andy said, “Camille [Grammer] brought a ball gag with her. All in good fun? Or crossing the line?” Kyle admitted, “I love when Camille crosses the line.” Same here, Kyle.

Then he got to the only major altercation at the reunion. Andy said, “Erika [Jayne] and Teddi [Mellencamp Arroyave] really went head to head with Erika yelling ‘Raise up or get the fuck out.’ Whose side are you on?” Kyle answered, “In that moment, Teddi’s. I thought that was really uncalled for.” It really wasn’t the best look for the (former?) fan favorite. Hopefully Erika can turn things around next season- if she returns for another season.

Andy remarked, “LVP said 90% of conversations are about you and you need her help a lot. Is that true?” Kyle claimed, “Not true at all. She knows exactly why she said that. It’s because I said a Soho House that it was all about her, so she had to get me back. But I love her.” Lisa acting vindictively? How shocking….

Kyle was asked about Erika’s reunion behavior- again. Kyle remarked, “She did seem a little off that day and absolutely guarded, but I don’t know what’s going on with her. I don’t think she was exactly herself that day.” What about the rest of the season? What happened to the Erika we met during Season 6?

And just for good measure, Kyle was asked about Erika for a third time during the episode. A fan wanted to know, “Do you think the backlash Erika was getting on social media was fair based on how she behaved at the reunion?” Kyle answered, “Like I said, I don’t think she was herself that day. I’ve had backlash too. I know Erika’s a good person. They’ll see the real Erika.” Or have we already seen the real Erika? Has the allure of an alter ego and catsuits run its course?

Kandi Burruss Celebrates Her Birthday In Las Vegas

Kandi Burruss Celebrates Her Birthday In Las Vegas

On Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss is all about growing her businesses. She has so many staff members that they’ve all become fixtures on the show at this point. She has always prioritized getting that coin, but this past weekend she was all about the turn-up.

Kandi went to Las Vegas with her husband Todd Tucker, friend of the Atlanta Housewives Shamea Morton, her right-hand man Don Juan, and a bunch of her other friends. Where were the other Atlanta Housewives? Maybe Kandi just wanted to avoid the drama and focus on a good time without the dinner party confrontations. Maybe they were all invited, but their schedules were full. Who knows. Kandi and her crew had a fun time nonetheless.

Before going to Vegas, Kandi celebrated her birthday with Todd, her daughter Riley Burruss, her son Ace Wells Tucker, and friend Rasheeda Frost– and she took plenty of photos, of course.

In Vegas, Kandi and her friends hit the club, partied by the pool, coordinated all-white outfits, and attended the Jennifer Lopez concert. They even went backstage to take photos with Jennifer. This trip is something that would have been great to see on Real Housewives of Atlanta. It would have been way more interesting than watching Kandi conduct another staff meeting to talk shit about one of her co-stars that have done her wrong.

Robyn Dixon Says Monique Samuels Has “Inner Beef, Hatred, & Obsession” With Her & Gizelle Bryant

robyn dixon recap

robyn dixon recap

When Monique Samuels initially brought up her car accident on Real Housewives of Potomac, she didn’t expect it to turn into a storyline about her drinking. She mentioned it in the context that she is so busy and so tired that she fell asleep behind the wheel before she crashed and fell into a ditch.

Monique wrecked her car after she went to lunch with Ashley Darby– who claimed that Monique had four drinks before driving. Now, Ashley, Gizelle Bryant, and Robyn Dixon are questioning Monique’s drinking habits.

Robyn discussed the last RHOP episode in a Bravo blog post.  Robyn admitted, “From the minute I walked in the room, I felt something off with Monique. I was so confused by her demeanor because we all had just left Nemacolin on a good note, sharing a huge laugh and having fun girl time in the hot tub.” That “good note” was not going to last for long. This is a Real Housewives show, after all.

Robyn continued, “So when Monique starting going off on Ashley, I couldn’t believe it. The way she was screaming, turning red, and calling names (What the hell is a ‘bottom behind trick’ anyway?) came out of nowhere. If Ashley really exaggerated regarding the number of drinks Monique had, Monique should have taken her own advice and addressed Ashley while in Nemacolin.” But this makes for much more explosive television.

Robyn took a break from analyzing Monique’s behavior to call out Karen Huger: “Karen made a great decision in kicking us out. All of that yelling at her event was totally out of line, unnecessary, and embarrassing”- but again, this makes for much more explosive television than if Karen handled the situation rationally.

Robyn wrote, “I honestly still don’t know the answer. I’m not sure how my genuine concern about Monique and her car crash turned into something to be angry about. Nobody was criticizing, chastising, or vilifying Monique about her drinking, we just didn’t want the same thing to happen again. It was so ridiculous for Monique to all of a sudden play victim as if I had bad intentions and was trying to hurt her.” Robyn and the rest of the ladies had very valid points when it comes to being careful when alcohol is involved- but did they come across as caring when they expressed their concerns to Monique? Not so much.

Robyn recalled, “At that point, I could not take one word she was saying seriously. Listening to her ramble on about the ‘Green-Eyed Bandits’, ‘mean girls’ and ‘Pinky and the Brain’ really made it more and more clear that Monique’s issue is with the messenger, not necessarily the message.”

She concluded, “I absolutely did not attend Karen’s event with the intention of getting into an argument or confrontation but unfortunately whatever inner beef, hatred, and obsession Monique has with me and Gizelle got the best of her. And did Mighty Mouth think I’d be intimidated by her? Hilarious. ‘Get in my face and say that and see what happens.’ Ask and you shall receive.”

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: A Frittered Friendship

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: A Frittered Friendship

What happens in the Berkshires rarely ever stays in the Berkshires. In fact, it usually drives major storylines for the remainder of the season on the Real Housewives of New York. Is it something in the water? Is Dorinda Medley’s house built on a goddamn pet cemetery? Whatever the case may be, this year it’s Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill who decide to celebrate their very own Festivus early by airing their grievances on the Berkshires annual trip. And they decide to do it in full costume because…it’s a murder mystery party, ya’ll! So, yeah – it’s nuts. Therefore, it’s incredible.

We begin with Dorinda making it nice. While she shops for quiches and cakes, Bethenny’s assistants pack her bags with pajamas and pepper spray. Carole and Ramona Singer show up first – they’re staying an extra night to behold the Christmas wonderland that Dorinda has erected in literally every corner and crevice of Blue Stone Manor. While they sip cocktails next to a thousand stuffed Santas, Sonja Morgan is back in the city getting a facial and free gossip from her facialist. She’s also making claims about where her missing animals have recently gone. “I gave kitty away to a nice gay man,” sighs Sonja, who moves on to discussing how one must douche between same-day sexual partners. Tinsley Mortimer, take note: This is your future calling, and it’s bleak. Two roads diverged in the wood, and Sonja took the one to Bellevue. You in danger, girl!!

Dorinda takes Ramona and Carole to dinner. It’s important to note that Dorinda is now describing Ramona as “easy” company, which says a lot about how batsh*t CRAY the rest of the cast it. As a reminder, our girl Ramona was the nutcase who literally ripped lights off of walls last year in Dorinda’s home. But now Dorinda is spooked more by Sonja, who’s moved past stealing pajamas and is more concerned with lying about everyone.

Carole is wondering what her disconnect with Bethenny is? Dorinda brings up the Adam situation – he wanted to be paid for his photography services in Houston, which Bethenny found uncharitable. Carole had no idea Bethenny was irked by this, even though she did realize she’d asked Adam to go on the trip. Bethenny usually comes straight for you when she’s pissed, so why has she been avoiding this issue with Carole? Or…is this Adam nonsense really the issue? Hmm.

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: A Frittered Friendship

The next morning, Carole gives Dorinda a makeup turban and a Donald Trump chia pet, which is possibly the greatest gift combination any Housewife has ever received. Bethenny arrives in a great mood, cursing the trip by claiming that “nothing can possibly go wrong this year.”

Before Dorinda even utter, “Welcome to the Berksh—” Bethenny is already talking a mile a minute about life-size nutcrackers and displaying the Skinnygirl jeans she brought along. Carole and Bethenny seem fine at first, which cues Carole to let the issue drop for now. She’ll bring it up later once Bethenny has a bedazzled thong on her head.

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: A Frittered Friendship

Ramona unsuccessfully tries to conjure up the word for snowman + homie (“snow persons? snow people? snow…mees?”) Bethenny is donning on her sweater while Luann De Lesseps, Sonja, and Tinsley wander in next with bottles of wine. Party’s here! Luann is ready to get her drink on, so let’s start popping bottles. Who gives a sh*t if it’s 10 am?

The only thing Dorinda gives a rat’s ass about it that no one abuses her housekeeper, Len. Lest we forget – Len has been caught in the crossfire of more than one Housewives beatdown over the years. Also, Ramona doesn’t own any humans in this house, so she can pour her own wine and find her own TP, thankyouverymuch. Also, note to Sonja: Wear your own underthings, lady! And please do not rinse them out in the toilet.

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: A Frittered Friendship

Once house rules are established, Luann and Sonja immediately set about to decorating/destroying their room. So Sonja snaps photos of the room like she’s renting a Honda just in case damage is reported later. Soon, the ladies get all decked out in their best murder gear, circa 1920s Party City. Tammy Temperance (Dorinda) and Lady Bird (Ramona) greet the actors at the door, one of whom will play the owner of the house, “Mr. Feathersby.” Nell Neighbors (Tinsley) and Sylvia Treadway (Carole) get their feathers and rhinestones straightened before heading downstairs. Tinsley wonders if Carole will confront Bethenny tonight, but Carole doesn’t seem all that hopped up yet. YET.

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: A Frittered Friendship

Maria Antipasta (Sonja) immediately starts hitting on smug little paid-by-the-hour-actor Mr. Feathersby, because…of course she does. Melanie Wharton (Bethenny) comes down to greet the Feathersbys, et al, and to find her a fritter. She never met a fritter she didn’t like, so silk gloves be damned! A fritter she will have. When Jeanne Menage (Luann) traipses down bellowing French-lish, we see Luann’s cabaret future stretch out before is in perpetuity. This is the Countess’s element, and nobody will be putting her in a corner tonight – even if she is the murder victim.

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: A Frittered Friendship

Soon, Aidan – Mr. Feathersby’s friend who he claimed to hate – drops “dead” in their midst. OH LORDT. Full admission: I can barely watch this sort of staged murder mystery nightmare on TV without cringing, and would immediately drop dead of embarrassment if I were subjected to it in person. Bethenny apparently feels similarly, as she continues to double-fist fritters while Aidan-The-Actor gasps his last breaths.

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: A Frittered Friendship

Now we enter a series of “Who dunnit?” moments at the dining table that are less important than the mess that eventually goes down. Sonja is just pissed that there were only three dudes at this party to begin with, and now one croaked on the carpet. Dorinda needs the butler to stop trying to get his SAG card and bring her some damn wine. Just as Ramona is ordering her ice and tequila be measured exactly to her specifications, Mr. Feathersby drops dead at the table – but not before Ramona pounds him on the back like she just saw the ghost of Mario’s mistress. The butler turns out to be a “cop” who lamely explains the mystery – then allows the group to move on to the real stuff: Petty Housewives Drama.

Bethenny brings up Ramona’s claim that she called Carole a “puppet.” Ramona knows she doesn’t have a passing grasp over the English language, so she quickly bows out of the argument, gleeful that Carole is (for once) willing to take over when it comes to going head to head against Bethenny. “I feel our vibe is off a little bit,” says Carole. “Is there a reason for it?” Although Bethenny deflects at first, she does admit that Carole hasn’t seemed very interested in her charity work. But Carole claims she has been very supportive and is upset that Beth would throw Adam under the bus for being uncharitable as well.

Carole killed a Page Six story that claimed there was a “feud” between Bethenny and her, but now it seems like there is some truth to it. When Bethenny starts to dance around the semantics of whether she called/emailed/smoke screened Adam to go to Houston, Carole gets fed up. “If this is the vibe, I don’t like it,” she tells Bethenny, not okay with arguing over particulars of who-called-who when it’s really about the larger issue of calling someone cheap. “You don’t have to like it, Carole,” retorts Bethenny, who admits that this whole thing is freaking her out a little bit. Carole says the truth freaks Bethenny out, which practically makes Ramona stand up and cheer.

After seven rounds of “was it a Saturday or Sunday that Adam couldn’t go on the trip!?!??” Carole finally tells Bethenny she’s “kind of aggressive and dismissive” with her every time they’re together lately, and it’s tiring. Bethenny says that’s not the case. But she sort of proves Carole’s point when Carole calls her “honey” because she pounces on her. “Don’t call me ‘honey’ – that’s condescending,” she snaps. Both women accuse the other one of not letting them talk, which is like screaming into a canyon and arguing with your own echo. It’s going nowhere. And even though Carole says she loves Bethenny and wants to get to the root of their issue, the look on Bethenny’s face says she doesn’t quite believe it. And neither does anyone else at this table – except for maybe the murdered guy.

To be continued…

The Survivor Ghost Island finale attempts to reverse this season’s curse

I wish I'd counted the number of times someone said a version of, It's time to make a move! and then did not during Survivor Ghost Island—or even just during the final episode. The finale ended up like the majority of the post-merge: grand promises, no action, rinse, repeat, zzzz. Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

The only word that came to mind after tonight’s two-hour Survivor: Ghost Island Finale was “wow.” Just “wow.” Yes, Survivor has been on the air for 36 seasons now, which is 18 (!!!) years for those keeping track. Not only did the Finale produce yet another “Survivor First,” but for the first time in the show’s history the final winning vote came down to a tie, unveiling a little-known tie-breaker rule and sending shock-waves throughout Tribal Council and into living rooms across America. That, and it was exciting throughout, also giving us what will be known as maybe one of the best Tribal Council maneuvers of all-time.

I tell people this all the time: Survivor is THE best Reality TV Competition Show…still. Even it’s “average” seasons are better than most other shows, and I’m so happy that the fans that stuck with this season – which was not universally loved and thought of by many as just “OK” – were rewarded with one tremendous finish.

But before we dive in, as I do at the beginning of every Recap, please heed the following: Remember that this recap assumes that you have already seen this week’s Survivor: Ghost Island Finale, so if you have not and don’t want to be spoiled, please come back later! It’s important to add too that while we WILL hit on all of the important developments of the episode, this is not a linear “blow-by-blow” recap, and is more of a discussion and reaction of what we just witnessed together.

Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

It was the finish that this season deserved. Dom and Wendell dominated this entire season, at every point, all the way through until the end. They were the power couple that no one could touch despite their dominance. And in the end, it came down to Dom and Wendell going toe-to-toe with one another, each racking up five winning votes following an explosive Final Tribal Council. The problem was, a sixth vote was needed in order to break-up the tie, and that vote went to none other than Laurel, who literally seconds earlier just saw her own Survivor dreams go up in flames.

As for Laurel, her story seemed to be one of inaction, as in she was never quite up to the task of taking a big swipe at the dominant duo of Dom and Wendell. As we, the viewers, saw throughout the entire season, Laurel and Donathan often found themselves in the position of power, and even as Donathan grew increasingly assertive about taking one of the boys out, it was Laurel who ultimately decided to stick with them to the bitter end. Yes, this didn’t yield us any “big moves,” but it was perfect for Laurel’s game…right? I mean, she did end up getting to plead her case to the jury in the end…

Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

…The problem, of course, with Laurel‘s argument is that staying loyal to Dom and Wendell cost her WINNING the game, albeit it was her best strategy to make it to Final Three. Clearly, her loyalty paid off, because Wendell used his Immunity Idol on her at Final Five, and then Dom repaid his loyalty to her by selecting her to come with him to Final Three. So on one hand, it was nice to see Laurel’s loyalty reciprocated by both Dom and Wendell. But on the other hand, as Laurel’s story unfolded on TV over the past few weeks, there was some part of us that just knew it was going to end like this for her.

Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

For Dom, it’s hard to say what more he could have done. Despite his more forceful approach to the game, Dom did end up scoring five winning votes. He outwitted, outplayed and outlasted his big rival Chris Noble before and after the merge, and he was in firm control of the game ever since. But his use of the cursed fake idol at the Finale’s first Tribal Council of the night is the thing of legend. All I could think of while watching that Tribal unfold is how outmatched Sebastian and the rest of the group was. Dom is a pro, and he ran circles around his competition. You have to remember, that Dom was the actual target that night! Sebastian had a double-vote and Dom could have very well gone home, but instead of playing his real Idol to ensure his safety, he went full drama and was able to convince Sebastian not only to not use his extra-vote advantage but to cast a vote for Donathan! All while Dom sat there still exposed without any protection from Idols or necklaces. What a ballsy move, and how epic. If there was ever a best-case scenario usage of a fake Idol, this was it, and it’s a good thing too because Dom ended up needing that real Idol of his at the very next Tribal. I really think Dom’s move here is one for the record books and should be considered an all-time great Tribal Council move.

Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

One of the best stories of the season has to be Donathan, who I know has his fair share of haters out there as well. But that being said, Donathan really is the one player this season that I think blew past the expectations I had of him as a character on the show, from the beginning to the end. His “truth bombs” really made things interesting down the stretch, but really his Achilles heel was his inability to sway Laurel to do anything. As we saw, Laurel was making the best moves for Laurel, and Donathan at some point needed to play the game for Donathan. Because he didn’t, I found it sad that Laurel and Donathan each found their games boiled down to having to write each other’s names down while at the complete mercy of Dom and Wendell. Donathan’s game could have gone in a bunch of different ways, but he should have been able to tell that he was at the bottom of that four-person alliance and needed to do something independent of Laurel sooner.

Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

Let’s talk for a minute about Dom‘s crazy idea to give away his Immunity in order to challenge Wendell at fire-making. I nearly was unable to watch the screen when I heard him even mentioning such a bone-headed plan. Sure, I get it, it’s the definition of macho, to jump into the pit to take on your rival bare-handed. But had Dom made this crazy “reverse-the-curse”-inspired decision and would have lost the fire-making challenge, he’d be right there with James Clement and Erik Reichenbach on a future Reunion Show, talking about how his move was by far the dumbest move ever made in the game. I get his thought-process, I guess, but he earned that final Immunity fair-and-square and played one hell of a game to even get to that point. To gamble that all away? I don’t consider that just a “safe” move but a smart one.

I am still loving the open jury format, and I thought it led to some good exchanges. Again, I thought Laurel had strong arguments despite the fact that she wasn’t able to land a single winning vote. Of the three, I actually thought Wendell had the weakest Final Tribal showing, and for the first time since we’ve met him, he looked visibly nervous and shaken-up a bit at times. And what did you do when Jeff told them all that he was going to read the votes right then and there? Not since Season 1 has the vote been read on-site (fact-check?), and to watch the players’ jaws collectively drop was the only thing that kept me from soiling myself. They – nor I – could believe it, but we soon found out that it was necessary due to the tie vote.

A last word on Ghost Island: Much like the rest of the season, Ghost Island was mainly inconsequential. I stated early on that I wasn’t a fan of the concept the way it was rolled out, and while I do appreciate the attempt at creating a theme based on “mistakes of the past,” the actual execution of Ghost Island was sort of a bust. Just my opinion.

Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

Episode Take-Away: Say what you want, but Survivor always seems to finish strong regardless of how the rest of the season goes. I feel like I liked this season more than most, and later this week you can see where I rank Ghost Island on my list of “Most Memorable” seasons of Survivor. But I think many recent tweaks to the Finale have benefited the show greatly, from the open jury format to that breath-taking fire-making challenge that will now be a part of each Finale, to the idea of letting the episode run a bit longer if needed and bleed into the Reunion Show. No show that I know displays the same level of confidence in trying new things than Survivor. Sure, not everything always works, but the show has come through so, so many times, that it has built up a level of tolerance and forgiveness with its audience. We have come to expect change, and we can at least feel that they are trying to make the best show possible, even if we don’t agree with every little decision that is made.

But for a season with a very likable cast, I was more than happy to see it come down to three worthy individuals, and then to have the vote end the way it did was just shocking and nerve-racking. Tonight’s Finale was everything you could ever ask for and then some.

Immunity Wins: Wendell won the first two Immunity Challenges of the episode, with Dom winning the final Immunity Challenge

Vote #1: Dom played his authentic fake idol, no other idols or advantages were played. 4 – Sebastian (Dom, Wendell, Laurel, Angela), 1 – Dom (Donathan), 1 – Donathan (Sebastian)

Vote #2: Dom plays his Idol on himself, Wendell plays Idol on Laurel. 4 – Donathan (Angela, Dom, Wendell, Laurel), 1 – Laurel (Donathan)

FINAL VOTE to win Survivor: Ended in tie-vote (5-5) making Laurel a member of the jury, who cast the final vote for the winner of the game. 6 – Wendell (Laurel, Chelsea, Kellyn, Angela, Sebastian, Donathan), 5 – Dom (Chris, Libby, Desi, Jenna, Michael)

Winner: Wendell Holland

Survivor: Ghost Island Finale and Reunion Show Recap: Season 36 Ends With A First-Ever Tie-Vote

Live Reunion Show Recap: With the Finale running over two-hours, this season’s Reunion Show was cut short, to about a total of 40 minutes of air-time. It has long been accepted that Probst no longer uses this show to check in on each and every player, but instead, he uses it to just highlight some of the key moments or players…with the occasional plug for other CBS shows. Here are some of the main highlights of what we learned from the Survivor: Ghost Island Live Reunion Show:

  • Laurel‘s reasoning for voting for Wendell to win the game came down to his social game and their personal relationship…she felt that Wendell and Dom were evenly matched in pretty much every other major area. Dom also admitted that he knew almost instantly that he had lost once Probst announced that Laurel would be casting the deciding vote.
  • Speaking of Dom, he has since buried the hatchet with on-show rival Chris, and the two recently participated in an MS Walk, to raise awareness of the disease that Chris’s mother suffers from.
  • Survivor All-Stars James Clement and Erik Reichenbach – each known for committing the two “dumbest” moves in the history of Survivor – were on-hand for what was a blunt and sometimes awkward interview with Probst. Poor James admits that he cannot watch the show anymore due to the ridicule he faced after getting voted out with two Idols in his pocket, but Erik has come to peace with his famous blunder, where he gave away his Immunity Necklace and was promptly voted out of the game. Probst does offer the two an apology on-air and points out that James did find two Idols, and that Erik lasted 36 days in the game both times that he played.
  • Kevin Hart is in a new show called “TKO” on CBS! (I use the “!” ironically).
  • The big news of every Reunion Show comes towards the end when Probst reveals to the world the concept and name of the NEXT edition of Survivor. So here it is: Season 37, which is set to air in the Fall (on Wednesday nights again) will be called “Survivor: David vs. Goliath” and will feature 20 all-new castaways. The 10 “Davids” are described as people where “overcoming diversity is the only thing they know.” The 10 “Goliaths” are “capitalizing on their advantages, and using them to squash their opponents.” What does everybody think of the new concept and twist?

Coverage Ahead: This marks my last Recap of the season, and I just wanted to thank all of you who have followed and read this column all season long! But the season-end coverage is not over yet, because tomorrow I will have my final round of exit interviews with all SIX contestants from tonight’s Finale. Where do you think this season should place among the 36 seasons of Survivor? One of the best? One of the worst? Somewhere in the middle? And where should Wendell fall on the Winners list? I’ll keep an open-mind until tomorrow, so if you want to influence me at all, please comment below and plead your case!
